You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is good, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put scores when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Buffet restaurant.
I can really recommend this place, such a great variety of foods. Good for vegetarians too. You have different stations from salads, to sushi, to egg dishes and freshly cooked for you to your choice. Big dessert choices. Service is …
Its good. The food was ok, but not worth the price. We had 3 adults and 1 kid under 6 years of age. The bill was $66.95, we did not get any thing to drink. The men's bathroom was is total filth. Water or pee all over the floor.
Most horrible experience ever going to any buffet. Went for my father's birthday we were there an hour before they closed, they didn't tell us they were about to put all the food away as soon as they saw us, they put away the Mongolian grill And started taking the food out of the buffet. Spraying windex on the glass and cleaning the warmers with soap. Not really appetizing. Guy was mopping towards us in a disrespectful manner so the dirt was thrown our way. They were pretty much close 20 minutes before their hours. Then they also put a 10% gratuity already included in the bill to make sure they got their tip. When we asked if there was some kind of a discount because there weren't any food items left She said no there wasn't and basically laughed. We've been coming here for years but this will be the last time for sure. Definitely under new management.
Dessert was good, but that was about all that was left on the buffet and we were still charged full price. Smh...
Large variety of items for lunch. Sushi, Mongolian grill, variety of Chinese entrees as well as some nice desserts. You can do the all you can eat buffet or pay by weight for take out.
It was bad they put the food away and it was all frozen cooled
Gross and over priced
I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. The food was great Thank You
Very bad service!!! And the bathrooms are absolutely disastrous, if bathrooms look like that imagine what the kitchen looks like. I will not recommend thi place.
The cream cheese rangoons tasted as if they were days old and they had crab in them, old seafood not a good combination. The bathroom looked like fallout after the nukes dropped, disgusting. The Fortune cookies tasted like the paper they were containing. Have you ever seen the end of 'Super Size me'? When they left out the McDonald's food to show how long they would take to decompose? Or when in 'Family guy' when the nukes dropped and all that would survive the nuclear fallout was cockroaches & Twinkies? I believe the Jell-O cubes would fit in that category. And now your thinking what at this restaurant, is edible? The water perhaps? Nope tastes like chemicals. If I can describe my one experience at this establishment, would be 'terrible'.
Food delicious, service not good. If the service were as good as the food this would be an all-time favorite. The 5 stars is for the food. The Mongolian grill is wonderful. The service gets a 2. Be ready to look for refills or anything else.
I would say this is definitely one of the better buffet's in Beaverton, food wise. Great selection of Asian and some American foods. Some of the seafood doesn't really strike me as fresh, but they are usually cooked well. The price is high though, currently at $20 for an adult dinner. Also the bathrooms are filthy and are always flooding and clogged.
This place is not very good compared to other buffet in Portland. The food selection is not board and they don't refill their dishes while they charge the same amount as other buffet. The bathroom was very dirty and smelly. I will probably never come back.
Great selection with sushi and fresh stir fry
Aweful food. Not at right temperature and tasted bad. I tried most and did not finish anything except the fruit and jello.
The service here is horrible and food is not all that great I use to come here all the time but not now it seems like each time I come it gets worse. Not worth the price they charge at all!!!
This is by far the worst food I have had at any buffet in my lifetime. Everything was cold and stale. The bill was also over $40 for two people and we only drank water. Stay far away from this place.
This is the 2nd time I’ve been to this place and the last . Some staff are not that nice, look like they don’t like smiling at all . Over price to ,the food is not that good . It’s like they don’t make it fresh or something . Restrooms are a mess etc .
Overpriced and awful food, would not recommend.
This place is run like a butcher line. The all you eat buffet is stocked with more fillers (jell-o, orange slices, coleslaw and so on) that few people eat, so it sits there for hours. The staff EITHER plays a game of not speaking English or they really are new arrivals (legal to work???) For me, the killer is when they want to close a section of the dinning hall down. Sitting there as they are piling plates into a push cart, sweeping under your feet and putting chairs on top of the table. The noise the staff makes, it clear they want you out of the area (hurry up and eat). When you complain, they say “huh? No English”. As for the food, pretty much typical of what you would on any cheaply priced buffet. We won’t return!
This place is bad. Food was low quality. Pizza was frozen pizza you buy at the store. Sea food was iffy. Not much of a selection. It cost 63.00 for three people to eat what little was eddible.
Store bought pizza, and fires, but they can’t even keep it warm. This place is disgusting, staff doesn’t care, and the food is horrendous. I honestly Want to call food services. Don’t ever come here.
Great food. This probably the best buffet in Beaver Town. Seafood and Asian cuisine. You will not be disappointed. They also have kid friendly food. This is great choice for a family lunch or dinner
Very good presentation at sushi bar and buffet islands. Dishes always were filled with hot fresh selections.
In an earlier review, I was very critical of general cleanliness. A return visit last week showed tremendous improvement. Every issue I mentioned had been corrected, everywhere I looked and thing I touched was squeaky clean. What a great surprise! It is back on my list of top neighborhood eateries. Thank you, Buffet Palace!
Love the shrimp just dnt like how 20 mins in theyre already given you the tab dnt even let you enjoy your food
Service was terrible. Waitress was super rude. I still gave some tips. But they charge me more than the amount i signed for. Will NEVER EVER EVER come back to this place!!
Well I would strongly not recommend eating at this place to anyone. Took my family here and my mom and mother and law both got food poisoning after eating here. The food was cold not to sure how long some of the food has been sitting out. The silver ware was dirty and when you where able to show someone they went to another table and swapped it out and say now clean. Was super difficult to get the attention of any of the waitresses there they ignored you and where too busy playing on their phones and or yelling at each other in the kitchen. The bathrooms were completely disgusting toilet was over flowing when told the people in the front they laughed about it and did nothing. Asked to speak to a manager they called him then asked to speak to him they said no. Was told we should call back later and pay our bill or they will call the police on you. Tried to contact the manager multiple times he is never there. Thinking about call food and health services on this restaurant. Will never be coming back again
I show up 40 minutes till closing and they’re aggravated I’m coming in.... saying we’re closing soon what do you want
Soup and dumplings were good. Very large selection of sushi.
Horrible service. Charging 16.99 on weekdays and 18.99 on weekends. No one asked to refill. Didn't know about only dinner foods which they charged me 14 dollars more for 6 pieces of shrimp. NOT WORTH IT. If you're looking for good food and a good time go somewhere else. Plus crazy rules like 10% charge if you have a 20+ person party for service when the plates are dirty still on the table while we are eating. On top of that if you stay for more than 2 hours you'll be charged extra. Seems to me like they trying to take money from wherever they can. If thats not enough to convince you. We were checking the babys diaper to then go change it and a waiter was looking over the shoulder to see what we were doing. Invasion of privacy to the absolute max. Very rude. NEVER GOING BACK. Food is not good either.
Basic Asian buffet
$18+ per person on a Friday night. Hot foods were cold. Cold foods were warm. All foods that could be stale were stale. I ended up having to grab little bits of each dish so I didn't waste food. Signs everywhere telling people not to waste food or else they might be charged extra. Warnings of cameras watching wasteful people. Here's a suggestion: people would eat the food if it was edible. The seats were in need of replacement because the vinyl was coming off and/or dirty. I had been here before years ago and it was good. My wife and I were thinking it could have been an off night but we are not going back to find out. To top it off the ice cream machine was broken. Overall not going back.
Unfortunately despite that we like Chinese Buffet restaurants, the ones in Portland seem to be a lower quality than those in other cities we have lived. Buffet Palace seemed to be the best one in the area although that is not saying a lot. They do the foods you expect from a Chinese Buffet although their dessert selection is lacking. As some others have said their restrooms are down right creepy and do not use them unless I have too. If you go there for lunch Monday - Thursday the price is pretty good but on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday their prices skyrocket and is not worth the money you have to pay.
My wife and I stopped in here the food was awesome
almost love the place
Good quality food, plenty of seating even on a crowded Sunday. Seating was quick and the staff was attentive. Pricing matched the palate.
Delicious food, nice prices
Not bad , not bad at all
This place was disgusting
Got there about 9:pm everything was cold or warm very disappointed they seem to be in a rush close. Hefty price they offered to microwave our food i just thought wow
Bathroom was very dirty, sushi selection was very low and I saw a fly landing on the seafood. No special price for birthday people, for $20 bucks, definitely not worth it. Wouldn't go again.
The food is excellent and the choices are many. I always have a feeling of satisfaction when Leaving. No heartburn or acid reflux. Now that's a great Eat till ya win experience. Usually only two plates for me. Quick easy deal. Better than fast food any day!
Throughout dinner they did not replenish the snow crab legs once. And the bathroom was a disaster. No business ethics. Strongly suggest not to visit
I drove quite a distance to eat here and called to make sure of the hours was told full buffet until 1030 pm got there at 840 pm and the sushi bar and the Mongolian grill was closed down but they wanted 20.00 per person to eat old stale food that had obviously been sitting there for some time, sorry but that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth!
Good food, prices are little too high.
Large buffet, good food based on asian fare. Friendly service all at a reasonable price
Wow. I was going in not sure what to expect for a 11 dollar weekday lunch Buffet... but I was greatly surprised! I really enjoyed loved the food! The sushi is descent as well. There is no better deal than 11 bucks for all you can eat sushi. Plus, they offer anything else you could ask for as well. Overall, great experience.
I love this buffet. The sushi has always been tasty and they have a fantastic selection of fruits. The folks that work there are very nice and have no problems refilling your drinks. The only problem I have has nothing to do with the …
Wow! If you hungry don't hesitate to spend 20$ at the buffet! It's such a nice veriaty of seafood and desserts! Dont spend you stomach on rice and noodles, go fish, crabs, prawns! Highly recommended.
Buffet places are in the politics. Their goals are less foods more profits. I used to go buffet places late 1980's in that time their food was more delicious also it was an honest food with out filler. Their price was $ 4.99
Always have a good experience here! Good food, friendly service
Food was old and cold.
I have been to the buffet palace so many times and is the first time I get something so gross on my meal. I could not eat anymore of that. I was so hungry. Service was ok same as usuall I would come back maybe next year
Awesome! Fresh! The best!
50.00 for 2 adults and 2 children. I feel sick. And we weren't allowed to have any butter for our corn on the cob because it was "for dinner". Not worth it.
Over priced, the food selection is sparse with more seafood dishes than anything else. Being allergic to seafood, I was only able to eat a small selection. What I could eat was old and tough.
Good lunch fair price. Definitely would eat here again.
They've done some interior remodeling (looks good) , but price per senior diner moved up to $8.99, but still great value!
Good place to get together with friends and family. There is something for everyone here!
Always a great selection of warm, delicious fresh made food. Weekday before dinner prices are best. Staff could be better trained on customer service.
Amazing Experience, Food was Fresh, several staff working as a TEAM to keep food delicious and clean environment.
All u can eat ,veg, & regular food ,even sushi bar + soft drink & do not forget the desserts. Recommended for families. Note weekdays r cheaper than weekends.1/2 price.
Just a place to stuff yourself. No quality here. And make sure it's busy so you at least get the food hot that comes out newly cooked. Too expensive for what they are serving. Don't be misled by the price including you'll be lucky if you can get any.
Food was cold prices way to high paid 17.25 for my 10 year old and 13 for my 8 year old food looked impressive but lacked flavor also service was not great took way to long to pick up plates definitely not worth the drive and prices oh and no cones for ice cream
Ate here for my birthday little spendy but food was delicious
This place is great, but to be honest, the food isn't like it used to be, it taste off. The ice cream is amazing. But all together it is a nice place to eat, but it is a Little pricey ($37 for 2 adults and $5 for a child) but still a good place.
The worst of my life was eating in this place with my children !!! between at 4 pm cold rice, cold fries when they taste rich cold fries never horrible, I told the girl that the food was very cold she just said that I would change my saucer when she served me horribly cold shrimps were definitely taken away the desire to continue eating! pay for me and my 9 year old son and my 2 year old baby who could eat my baby 2 years for 43 dollars that horror will return so if you plan to eat there think twice, apart from everything it is a dirty place if you go check out the chairs of the tables of the backrest are full of filthy cochambre if this is where you can see I can not imagine the kitchen
Very expensive for sub par food. Much of the food had been sitting out soggy not fresh, some of it even cold. $20.00 for all you can eat garbage.
Really good service and food I recommend this to any family and every person
The waitress was rude and nasty.. it takes a long time to refill the drink she just looked and keep passing by we tried to get her attention but she ignored us and when she gave us the drinks taste aweful and really different.to all the waiter and waitress ; if u can’t do your job then don’t work if u want money then do your job well and customers will give u a better tips.
Not so good, very few choices at 3 pm
I grew up coming here, each time was an okay experience. I remembered the buffet with amazing frog legs and stuffed mushrooms but nothing special. Their sushi was also not the best. I recently returned to this buffet on Valentine’s day where they charged $20 per person all day!! They skimped on the crab legs, didn’t have stuffed mushrooms or frog legs, and all the food was not the greatest. The crayfish i ate was extremely gray and was just disgusting! I tried the mongolian grill but the meat was just so tough it wasn’t pleasant. This experience totally made me hate this place. Today I decided to try this buffet one last time because it was close to me. It blew my mind. The sushi was absolutely amazing! They started putting out sashimi of tuna, salmon, and a seared type and they were so beautiful and high quality. The crab legs were still skimped on but they were okay. The frog legs and stuffed mushrooms returned and they were the greatest! The crayfish was the key highlight for me. They were so big and perfectly cooked it was turkey a delight. I really enjoyed those! The only downside is that it’s quite hefty priced for a buffet like this. They charge $18 for dinner which adds up when there’s more than a few people. Other than that, i would definitely return if the food continues impressing me like that!
Good buffet style Chinese food at a reasonable price......nice senior discount. Meal includes tea. Buffet is large with lots of choices. Be hungry when you arrive
The food is mediocre, it's been left out for ages, and it costs $19. On par with the worst food I've ever had and for a very steep price tag. Don't recommend.
Disgustingly awful!! Dont waste your money!!
This was my second time eating here in over 8 years and definitely my last! I tried to give them a second chance and the only thing that was fresh was the Sierra mist. Very disappointing. I tried everything and it was dry and there was no flavor.
Pleasant staff and a good selection. My favorite is the Japanese style baked crab! Also, decent sushi for a buffet.
Great restaurant for families. My family and I really enjoy the diversity in meals when we go there. Nice service too and it is pretty clean, which is a plus.
Best buffet in Beaverton. Good variety of food, only thing is they take forever to bring out crab legs.
Went before closing. Food is alright. Wasnt fresh at all, we had to keep asking to refill the food trays. And clear our table. They weren't friendly. And they were dusting the ceilings and cleaning, while we were eating. While food was all out. Not very sanitizing!!!! Would be better if they were nice and food was refilled regularly without being asked. Otherwise, what's the point of buffet!?!?!?
It's ok
It was yummy, they even have a grill, and sushi bar...
This place really sucks. The foods tastes like it's been sitting for days. The place smells dirty
I went here with my girlfriend and we were super impressed with the food! I can't wait to come back for more! Thank you
Awesome food n clean
We got there at 8:40 pm they close at 9:30, the food was dry and old and they already had two buffets and the Mongolian grill shut down. I left hungry and paid 18 dollars for my meal... Bad business.
The taste of the food is really good
Restrooms are nasty with pee all over the place, you can literally smell it through the hall way out towards the food stands. Horrible customer service. we had to ask them to get our drinks and to pick up the plates, they literally were just standing there not doing nothing till people came up to them asking for their drinks or to pick up there plates so they can have more space.
The food is dank. Good seafood but the pizza is kinda bland and tasteless. The waiters here are slow (physically and mentally)
Food good, great customer service, prices a little high.
Great foods. I notice that the waiters and waitresses doesn't smile at all. I don't come here much. Only special occasion like my friend he tired. I've known him for 18 yrs.
Decent place. Love the variety. Wish the food had better flavor but definitely someplace I can go again. Slightly pricey for quality of food is biggest issue.
We travel all the way from The Dalles! Great food
The food was amazing!
Decent Sushi, limited but fresh Mongolian grill and chinese . Drinks not included, everything on the table was sticky and filthy (soy sauce bottle, chili sauce bottle) spoons for fruit and jello had crusted-on food debris. Recently raised price to $19.99 per person so early dinner for myself and one kid, plus a lemonade for my kid and tip was over $50, and you leave with empty hands (zero doggie bag options) and upset tummies. If you are hankering for chinese, hit your local Panda Express or Mongolian grill. This place sucks unless you can eat your weight in spicy krawdads and big shrimp still in their shells - eyes n feet n all.
The buffet was actually really good. It costs more than I really want to pay, but the food was worth the price. I was really happy with the options and the flavor
It was pretty incredible! The food was fresh & amazing! It definitely hit the spot!
Bathrooms are soooooo dirty. Place smells like fish. Food was terrible. Nothing fresh, everything was cold and hard. Not worth 17.99 a person. Will never go back and dont recommend it!
Truly only an average Chinese food buffet. I would only go back there if I was really in the mood for the all-you-can-eat buffet thing. Otherwise the food was only okay.
The entire time we were there they did not put out snow crab legs. If you charge $20 per person, everything should be replenished in a timely fashion.
Best buffet jn town. Expensive. Sushi. Crab legs. Mussles. Oysters..
Great food. Love the frog legs and coconut sauce shrimp.
Good selection, decent prices
Foods very awesome, work crew member was great with service good team efforts, the restaurant clean, it was quite and relaxing place for family outing
The food was good very good mix collection
It was a great place to eat. Lots food, large displays of there food. Been to buffet's were they had little food to pick. They had big lots of food to pick from.
Lots of variety but recipes are uninspired. Vader is food.
Our waiter was very nice and attentive but that's probably because he felt bad for us eating the food there. About 3/4 of everything we ate was warm-ish, nothing was fresh (we ate there at about 530pm). The sushi was even warm-ish (couldn't bring myself to eat more than the one piece). The only thing I actually enjoyed eating was the sesame balls. Will not be going back there even if our bill was $10 instead of $40.
Over priced Asian Buffett food, with tables so dirty I almost didn't sit down. The bathroom was worse then a freeway rest stop, and I've had better sushi from a gas station.
Great food just can't find it again
I love sushi
Good food pleasant waiting staff. Fair price enjoy
Yeah, I'm not super picky and usually not a harsh critic, but this place was a rough one. Not a lot of good choices you would hope for on a buffet and not great quality. Also, go there at 8:30, even though hours on the wall say they are open until 9:30, they were already cleaning up the buffet. So the already limited choices were even more limited. Yeah, steer clear of this one.
Really 3.5 stars. Interesting variety of foods, mostly tasty. Not as good as it used to be, but fun to try once in a while. Friendly staff and laid-back armosphere.
Pretty gross. This isn’t my first time in this place as some friends like meeting up there. The shrimps are always not cleaned well and overcooked. Most of the seafood and vegetables are overcooked and tasteless. The place is dirty, …
Good variety of hot food, sushi, salad bar and desserts. Definitely got our moneys worth on all the seafood we ate. Some of the food was lukewarm and would have liked it to be hotter.
Decent Chinese buffet. Good selection of traditional dishes and sushi. Not much that will change your world but pretty solid.
Super over priced, not worth it.
Choice of food is poor and the price too high
I would give a 3.5 if I could. the buffet cost 18 bucks and I piled 6 plates high with shellfish and sushi. Food was decent. Staff were kind of inattentive but whatever it's a buffet The restaurant was nicer than I expected but the bathroom was gross.
Not too bad...till you walk into the restroom! Yuck! As they say, if the restroom is gross...just imagine what the kitchen looks like!! The food was decent too...
This is definitely one of the better buffets I've been too. The food quality is good and the prices are very reasonable.
Used to be good not so much now too greasy and things don't taste like they should and they over cook their salmon.
Not a good service, food arrived late, food was dry.. Sadly, will not be coming back.
Always good selection of fresh and tasty food.
Food is horrible, like homeless kitchen. Never come back again
The staff is friendly and attentive. The buffet was nothing special. The flavor of the food was on the bland side, it was palletable, but not memorable. I'll search for better places before going back. The men's bathroom definitely needed attention.
My favorite place to eat China food
Food was cold and noodles tasted like fish
We went back there about 2 months ago very deeply disappointed, food was terrible and of low quality, absolutely nothing good as used to be. We used to take friends, family/relatives, and business associates there, unfortunately we will not going back there again with this level of food quality and unfortunately, taste also very disappointingly bad. Hopefully the new owner (seems was sold again to a different owner) will remedy this situation and I am sure we will be happy again and raise the rating. I used to rate it between 4-5 stars and recommending to all of our friends and guests from out of town, no more for the time being. If I have a choice to select than 1 star I would, unfortunately that is the lowest. Management, if you want business, please do something, too much room for improvement at the current level of your food quality. Sorry for this troubling review! Better than average Asian buffet restaurant (posted 9 months ago)
Great spot but trashy restroom. Couldn't believe it was the same restaurant. Please buffet staff fix that shit
The place are badd the food are too expensive for 6 years old they charge $10 the kid didn't even touch the food the place is very Doughty
Steam table place with tired Asian staples not very well prepared. Very few veggie choices. The saving grace is the sushi. Not a lot of variety but it's fresh, tasty and all-you-can-eat. If that's all you expect it's a deal. Better value/quality Chinese and Korean can be found all over Beaverton
This is the first time I went here and it looked really good, but once I went to eat it all was bland. My girlfriend tried all the food and there was nothing she liked, she even tried the salad and she did not like it, the croutons were all stale and soggy. How do you mess up the salad? Plus, the bill was way to much for the bland food. I would not suggest this place to anyone.
Too expensive and vomit 6 out of 10 times within the hour after I eat. They must pore on the msg cause that’s the only reason I can see returning here. It’s like u want it then 30 min after you eat it like” oh, so that’s why I said I’m …
There's a better than average sushi selection. The food is better than average as well. I've had good service and it's priced fairly.
More flavor in here. Sanitary though and well maintained. There was mold in my cucumber tomato salad. I am allergic to mold so very sensitive.
Very good place
One of my favorite locations for Buffet food. The food was tasty. I will probably become a regular.
Food some what warm not nearly as hot as it should be also found a peace of plastic in my broccoli and chicken and staff did not seem to care that the food had plastic not a place I'd recommend. Very disappointed
Employee's were so friendly, food was great!!
Very polite staff and good variety of cuisine. Good experience!
ATTN: Found a worm--YES a straight up worm
Some things look package bought. Food was cold, super greasy, and either bland or far too salty. Some of the fried items had more batter than the actual fried item itself. Service was bad, prices are too high for the quality of the food and the location was not the cleanest.
OK food, but VERY overpriced. Tried one of each of the desserts, didn't finish any of them. The food we tried wasn't terrible, but I can easily find much better food in the area for $20/person.
Food was good.
All their food was amazing! Will defenatly come back some other day. :D Just because I live 4 hours away or else I would visit again very soon.
Absolutely delicious, and each item was tasty even with such a wide ethnic food range. They had two kinds of octopus! The atmosphere was nice and the staff never let my cup go empty.
Every time that I go after 7 pm, they are in a such of a hurry to kick you out of there, it has happened to me three times before, they bring you the bill even before you sit down with your first plate. Yesterday the waiter for being in a such of a hurry forgot to bring me my card back, I went back today and according to the hostess there’s no person in charge. They just don’t care
Flavors seemed bland on this visit??
At least you won't starve
Expensive and food with no flavor
Lots of seafood options. I enjoy exploring the menu every time I visit.
Good prices. Usually no wait. Staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. Food is delicious as always!
Great food, albeit a little pricey. Not the best service in the world, but for what it is, which is as much food as you would like, which includes standard Chinese buffet, as well as sushi, some American food, and Mongolian grill style food, all under the same buffet bill, it's worth it.
My family and used to go to here and enjoy it but today was my last visit. First of all they raised their prices and i wouldn't mind if the quality was at least the same. We went in at 815 they close at 930. Everything was old and not even Luke warm. . Food rock hard, sitting under a heat lamp, stuck to the pan, fried shrimp soggy, suchi empty, yes I have to admit they did offer to make us a nice suchi plate, and the lady made mr a plate of shrimp fresh , but still seeing all the other stuff so unappetizing was disappointing since our meal was quite expensive. They were clearing everything out about 20 minutes after we came. I just can't get over it and the lady says she doesn't care if I don't come back, ahhh, I just need to get over it, ok breath
The building and decorations look nice but the food was not worth half of what i paid for it. Ontop of all that the food made me sick. Its not even worth going on the weekdays when food is half price.
