Staff were nice. The restaurant was small, but comfortable. I ordered the veggie burger which was really disgusting. It was the smallest dried puck and literally tasted like cardboard. Worst veggie burger I've ever tried. The rest of the ingredients were good, but I expected more!

The food is bomb and so delicious. I had the omg burger and my gf had the monostrocity burger and was so yummy. If you got the mad munchies just hit this place up. Its easy to get to on the max red or blue line. Just get off the morrison stop.

Brace yourself for quite the belly buster at this place. Any of their specialty burgers can be made vegetarian, which is great. You can easily create the ultimate burger of your dreams and have grilled cheese sandwiches serve as the buns. The staff was small consisting of two people, but they seemed very friendly. It's a small place, but definitely worth checking out.

Wow, just wow! This place has a perfect spin on the breakfast sandwich and the burger. Like any place there is a menu where you can choose from pre-determined sandwich combinations and all of them are fire (really good!). But! They also have a laminated menu where you can build your own burger or breakfast sandwich with a whiteboard marker. They have just about anything you could ask for on a sandwich to select from. This place is absolutely to die for and if you are visiting Portland.... You. Should. Go.

Worst place we ate across 7 states. We waited 30 minutes for our order. It was 6 various burgers and one large garlic fries for our group. The burgers were both burnt and cold by the time we got them. The fries tasted good but they were not hot when the seasoning was applied because it wasn’t sticking to them - Just sitting in the box next to the fries. It was expensive and not worth it.

Brunch Box is a fantastic place for a quick bite or a to go order on some delicious and original breakfast foods. They have all the ingredients that we know and love to start our day with -- but they put them together in a unique way. Almost every item is a breakfast meal converted into a sandwich that provides unsurpassed to-go ease. Grab it on your way to the office, or while on a walk around downtown, just be aware that the inside seating is especially limited.

I really do like this place, the staff is always super nice and what could possibly be better than a burger in between two grilled cheeses? Brilliant. Unfortunately the burgers themselves have no flavor. They need to put some spices in the meat or something. The toppings, sauces, cheese don't help. I would love to frequent this place, but meh.

My boyfriend and I were walking around town Sunday morning looking for a place to eat when we saw Brunch Box, a busy little breakfast and burger restaurant. There was very limited seating but we eventually got a table. The food was fresh hot and delicious! We got breakfast sandwiches but the burgers and fries looked good too! Next time.

I have been here a couple of times while traveling for work. I do love their creative burgers. I still love the idea of using grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. The food was a little pricey as it is a la carte. But if you would like a decent burger, it is worth the visit.

I got fries with my burger, they had no container and were dropped at the bottom of the bag and smashed by my burger. I added tomatoes to my burger, but all I got was one end slice. The burger patties were overcooked and therefore dry and crispy. I have had better burgers at fast food places for half the cost.

This place has great food but horrible management. My boyfriend was approached by the owner and offered him an interview at one of his brunch box locations. He spent money on bus fair and nice clothes and the owner bailed and has STILL yet to call or contact my boyfriend. The owner has declined his calls and is ghosting him like a fifteen year old.

This has fast become my go-to spot when I'm feeling Jules Winfield and could really go for a tasty burger. I think I've ordered a different sandwich each time and have yet to be anything but amazed. Usually no wait to order, but deliciousness takes time, so I'd recommend calling in ahead if you're in a rush.

We went on a Sunday morning, I honestly expected a longer wait but was really surprised that we didn't have to wait long. It was crowded and seating was limited which is the only downside about this place. The food was great I made my own BLT style sandwich and my husband got the omg burger which was very good. We were able to get a discount because of my OLCC licences which was awesome!

My parents are divorced but my dad moved away and now he lives right by Brunch Box. At first i tought a little burger but once i took a bite it was so juicy tender and delicious and half a burger filled me up. Excellent sodas, excellent fries and burgers, it taste so good. This place is small and always packed to the gills. It is packed to the gills because it is good. There is no private parking so you must find street parking. I came here for brunch and got the lumberjack. French toast buns, eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, and blackberry jam. So delicious. I will be back and I will get a burger.

This place serves fairly decent food that is both delicious and semi-afforadable. There were a few things that were a little disappointing in the food. For example, my wife got the big kahuna and the Patty was a bit burnt, they forgot the grilled onions and the pineapple was quite lackluster. I my self got the BYOB and it was fairly delicious, I just wish the Patty used was of the same size as the toast. By the end of my sandwich, it was just bread with cheese. I also wish they put more jalapeno, but that's just me What brought this rating to 4 stars is not because if the food, cause that's a 3, but it was the service we received. We came in as a group of 4+baby and when you have a family ordering, it can get hectic. The employee that took our orders was very professional and VERY patient. I applaud her and her ability to keep calm while our family was "hangry". I honestly wish I can remember her name cause I would have loved to give her the credit! Would we come here again? Likely not for a sit in lunch with family, but I may be returning for work lunch every now and then, cause the food wasn't terrible and it was good. It just had some key points that struck us in not the best way.

Who keeps you better-fed for only a few dollars? No one better than Brunch Box. Breakfast sandwiches all day if you like, and plenty of burgers and sandwiches if you don't. Drinks are cold, seats are few, and all orders are to go. This is a staple spot of any downtown Portland visit.

Then when I got my burger it was gigantic, they took there time assembling it and you could tell they take pride in there cooking here. If your in portland and your hungry this is your place.

There is not a lot of other of seating and it feels kind of crowded while waiting for food, I feel like I can never find a good spot to stand when I am waiting for to go orders. Even though it is not my favorite burger spot in Portland I do find myself going back if I am feeling like a quick burger for lunch.

I ordered from a food app and the estimated delivery time was over an hour and a half, not sure if that's the app or restaurant but it was stupidly long. However when my food finally did arrive it came in a smushed small paper bag that the bottom was soaked in grease. When I opened it the chicken burger I got wasn't even wrapped, it was sitting on top of the crumpled wrapping paper and had fallen apart. Underneath was the blackened fries which also had no container and were just sitting in the bottom of the paper bag. The burger (which I had to pick apart the ingredients from the bag and assemble the burger myself) was dry and not very good. It's identically to a Burger King chicken burger but actually worse. The bun was smash and paper thin and had obvious thumb prints where the sesame seeds were missing. The fries were inedible. I guess blackened fries means dumping an entire bucket of dry rub on them. They were so insanely coated and had a good tablespoon in the bottom of the bag of just straight dry rub. And they were stale as hell. I've never been more disappointed. I don't know what the hell happened but it was just one disaster after the other with this.

If you love burgers like I do. Go the Brunch Box. They have bugers which have two grilled-cheese sandwiches for buns, instead of bread. It filled me to satisfaction and I am a big fan of food. Don't go to Portland a bunch. Looked up cheap places to eat and this came up it had a one dollar sign. For 2 adults and a child it came to 35 buck. I wouldn't call it cheap more like moderate, but not from the area. Was about half hour wait maybe a little more from order to served. The burger I got the "BIG KAHUNA" not that good might of just been the burger. Staff was very nice and friendly. Might go agian but probably not.

A small place in the downtown area but very good and worth the visit. Creative items on the menu and something different than traditional breakfasts. Staff was good as well, good customer service...all that for very reasonable prices. When we visited it wasn't too busy and we were able to grab a table but the dining area is small with only a few tables so you might need to take it to go Giveit a try if you are in the vicinity.

What's not to love? The music is always different, they seem to add at least a small something to the menu just to have something rotating (last time I was there, was Fruity Pebbles milkshakes!) I don't normally come downtown, but I might start to more often just to be able to eat here. That was the best classic style burger I've probably ever had. Tasted like summer in the 80's. They have gluten free buns. The fries are solid if not quite super crack. Didn't get a shake...next time.

Great burgers. I came here for the first time today and I'm impressed overall. I ordered the Outlaw Burger on Texas toast. Really good flavor and quite a lot of burger. Come hungry. I also got the brewhouse fries. They were ok... I wouldn't order them again, but I will definitely be back for another burger. Yum!

This was a really great place to eat breakfast at. It was very clean, great customer service and delicious and feeling. A great place to take your girl to or a friend to. Is the only place that I've taken a picture to do a review and the people that work there actually want to be in the picture. If you don't know any of their history they actually started as a food cart. I will for sure go back there and take friends too.

Came because of the high rating and the idea sounded cool, however it took a long time for two sandwiches and fries to come out and by the time the food came out, fries were somewhat room temperature. In addition, fries were literally covered in garlic, so have some mints ready. Food wasn't bad but also quite one note... probably better stuff nearby.

The idea is great. Breakfast burgers are great at any time of the day. Atmosphere is great, place is cool (although small). Prices somewhat reasonable (normal for downtown restaurants..) but execution is poor. Took a while to get our food even though we were the only ones there People next to us waited 20+ min to get their food and shakes. Once the food got to us, we were sad to find the food was bland, one bland flavor every bite, despite all of the ingredients. Just disappointing that the main reason you come here is to eat, and you're hoping it's to eat good food, but with so many other good options around, I won't be coming back here. Its a shame, really.

Got a tip to check out the place. Despite it being a better version of a greasy spoon, I was happy enough to eat here. There is a choose your own menu OR you can eat what they make. The staff seem to want to have you enjoy the meal and don't rush you to get in and out. I loved on an everything bagel with horseradish, bacon and avocado. Was amazing. My friend had an egg, cheese and bacon on an English muffin. If you happen to stay downtown, eat here before wasting your money on some of the other places around. You will be happy you did. So will your wallet and belly.

We opened them and both had lettuce and hers had pickles, Wlwe were too far along the Max to turn around. The thai burger also had pineapple and tasted like they had just topped it with peanut butter and definitely not thai chillies.

I have visited this spot for breakfast several times and it doesn’t disappoint. Have tried the “Black and Blue” as well as the “Lumberjack”. Everything is cooked to order so it may take 10 minutes if your first in line but very worth it. The location is small (sits about 12-14 with standing room while waiting for you order or if grabbing a quick bite. Staff is all very friendly!

We stopped here for a quick breakfast while traveling to Portland. We did not know how busy it would be on a Sunday morning- there was no seating whatsoever and it was a really small space. The breakfast was so good though! Definitely a must try when in the area.

.I came here for the sole purpose of getting a milk shake. And I must tell you I was not dissatisfied. Twas the first day of spring and the birds chirping when I had the urge for a cold creamy one. i did what I normally do and looked on Google for a milk shake near me. And to my surprise brunch box delivered one of best birthday cake shake I've ever experienced. I can't wait to go back for a second one.

Best breakfast sandwich ever! Okay, I know that statement is subjective, but... I ordered a breakfast/brunch sandwich with a juicy hamburger patty, a crispy hashbrown, fresh avocado and tomato, all hugged between two of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had. But if that's not your thing, the sandwiches are completely customizable. Think Mod Pizza for breakfast sandwiches and hamburgers. As I was filling out the dry erase order card, I was thinking that my wallet couldn't take another checkmark. But as it turned out, it was actually pretty affordable. Go! You will not be disappointed.

The burger is greasier than expected, it comes wrapped so presentation isn't as great when opening it. Still tasted fine. Worth a try. Go during happy hour for cheaper deals.
