REVIEWS OF Big's Chicken IN Oregon

Awesome place to eat! The menu has a wide assortment of things to eat, even vegetarian dishes. This is one of those places where quality is the most important part of food service. The staff is very friendly and they have great suggestions in case you can't decide. This is a must eat place!

Jerry Orlando

A tad expensive but good food. Service is nice but essentially self serve beyond taking the order.

Samuel Razzell

Food is super delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Chicken was very flavorful. Much of the food is a little spicy so be aware of that. Food came out quickly. We had the fried broccoli, the wild rice, and the chicken breast and loved it all. Gabby was an amazing server as well. Would go again, highly recommend!

Ryan Tigner

Friendly staff, food was good, but wish I would have tried the chicken sandwich, it looked better than the wings I ordered which I didn't feel were amazing.

Michael Rossi

Great happy hour! $3 IPA on draft. Good food and nice staff.

Mark Pennington

Kool place....had a great grilled chicken sandwich...friendly staff

Brooke Gonzales

Wonderful place.. Will come back

Stacey Johnston

Fried chicken thighs are my go-to take out meal. Everything here is delicious though

Sruthi Muralidharan

I went with coworkers, and was super skeptical becoz i am vegetarian. But their veggie bowl was the best I have had, and i have had a lot of veggies bowls. Jo-jos (potato wedges) are perfectly seasoned, crisp outside, soft inside and to die for.

Bailey S.

Amazing food and fun atmosphere! They also have daily happy hour... we had two fried chicken sandwiches (with sides, and comes with a beer during happy hour), a massive pile of jojo's covered in goodies ("the little dirty"), fried macaroni balls (comes with 5) and a Moscow mule for less than $35. After we were done eating we tried to pick our least favorite part of the meal... couldn't do it. We went on a Saturday around 5:30 and had no trouble getting a seat, but by the time we left around 6:30 it was pretty well packed (they do have about 4 tables outside with heaters!)

Josh Bench

The dry rub is awesome, sauces are great, kids meals are well sized for the price. Great chicken place

staree1169

Yum! I had the Little Dirty and it was amazing. I also tried the dirty rice and the fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious.

Chris Urdahl

Chicken is pretty good. Not your typical wings so be prepared for that. The wings are smoked and have a rub on them. They do have sauce available on the side. Their liquid gold is pretty good, but I liked it better mixed with ketchup. The jojos are good, but almost too large so they aren't cooked completely through. Not too raw, but still some people might want them a bit softer. The Cole slaw is very vinegary. I prefer my Cole slaw sweeter so I wasn't a huge fan. I was also disappointed in the "cocktails." There are only two to choose from and more for beer type drinkers who like the occasional cocktail-a Moscow mule and some kind of bourbon based drink, not really cocktails in my book. They have beer on tap for beer drinkers. Chicken was really good, but not the restaurant I expected.

Matthew Kress

Great food, reasonably priced and good service. Fried chicken sandwich was quite tasty. Chicken was crisp on the outside and juicy and tender in the middle.

Linda Kavan

Everyone was great and answered any questions I had. Amazing food and service!

Banle Gaar

Last day of wing week! Also was next door from the beers. This corn was God tier. Sweet, perfectly cooked and large kernels. Would've liked it more smoked, but that's me. The cheese and the fresco/mayo sauces made this hard to put down. The wings were great and juicy. Two of the workers were very friendly and came by a couple times to ask is about the food and to take trash. While there was one other worker that just had a very poor attitude in general working there.

Stan Ash

Great fried chicken, with a very funky atmosphere and friendly staff. Watch out for the Fresno sauce. It'll make you a true believer.

Kim Sanderford

The food was great and came out quick- well seasoned, tender chicken. Happy hour menu was a great deal and all the sauces were fun to try!

Darren G

Absolutely amazing food! Best bbq in Beaverton! Hands down!

Kathy Buckmier

We introduced 4 new people who are going to come back again.

Brian Bauman

Best wings in Beaverton. Make the drive from Portland. It is a no frills joint but the food and beer is great.

Sean Andersen

They have great food great service I love the big dirty

Darrin Mullins

Chicken is delicious, I'll definitely be back.

Stuart Peterson

Very tasty chicken. Beer nice and cold. Yellow jackets mostly under control around the outdoor seating. Wish the JoJos were house made like the chicken and slaw. Very friendly staff. Did not experience the push for quick turnover as mentioned in a previous review. Food arrived very quickly. Great experience, good food. Absolutely will return to explore more of the menu.

Blane Hartleb

Ben hit it out of the park again. We are frequent guests over at Laurelhurst Market (One of our top 10 in Portland), and when we heard Ben had opened a chicken restaurant out in Beaverton, we had to make the drive. It was well worth it. I didn't know what to expect...when we got there, the decor reminded me of traveling down south at some Bar B Q joints in Tennessee. Wood walls, and old nostalgic oil cans everywhere. Really cool. We ordered a Variety of things. Chicken Sandwich, Roasted Corn, Drinks, on and on. Everything had a great twist to it. The JoJos are incredible also... (Need more on the plate...LOL...LOAD IT UP) If you are looking for a place that is super casual, fun, and will make your taste buds tingle, you need to put Big's Chicken in your mix of places to go. Awesome.

Audrey Neel

Finally tried this place and was very pleased! I personally liked their grilled chicken and fried chicken plain, over the sandwich options, but that's just my preference. We've been back twice in the last month since our first trip, so it's trending to be a regular spot.

Caleb Ford

There are few places where I would like to try every item on the menu. The buffalo chicken is really good; love the picked veggies and house made blue cheese. The Moscow Mule is a must have.

Titonian Wallace

First time visiting today. Really loved the seasoning on the JoJo's and the wings.

Briana Russell

Absolutely love their wings and sides!

Mark Holm

Excellent chicken and corn cakes!

CJ Shumate

Restaurant has a good vibe and the employees were nice and I was really looking forward to some tasty fried chicken but I was let down. The chicken seemed overdone and dry, the fried broccoli was soft, but maybe I’ll give it another shot some day. I do appreciate the life it gives to downtown Beaverton!

Antonio Carlos Bacci di Capaci Fiallos

Came for the fried chicken based on reviews. jojos were nicely seasoned. But the fried chicken was underwhelming. The surface was hardly crispy and extremely oily.

William Donnelly

The food was amazing! Staff was very friendly, I asked what he recommended cause I had never been there before and I got the boneless chicken thigh with slaw and jojo's. Everything was seasoned amazingly well and cooked just right! Normally I don't like slaw but there's is delicious.

Travis Diskin

New to Beaverton, this upgraded chicken shack is a welcome addition to the emerging food scene. They do things "Alabama-style" with the chicken smoked and basted with white sauce, then grilled or fried to finish. Served with Jo-Jo potatoes and coleslaw. It's kinda spicy and super-delicious. Great pepper sauces and other great sides await you too. Come enjoy.

Dritz D27

A solid, no nonsense chicken and jojos restaurant. Good quality. Solid portions. Not a great place for diets but it's worth it.

Bryan Aalberg

Great food and good service. Good prices too. Sweet deal if you buy a t-shirt you get a free sandwich. And the shirts are pretty cool!

Jamohl DeWald

Excellent service, excellent food. Family friendly as well.

Mari Keuter

Restaurant itself is cool. Staff was friendly. Food was ok. A little pricey. $52 for 4 meals, (one was a kids meal) and 2 sodas. Parking was absolutely horrible. We parked right outside the restaurant in front of the main door and got our vehicle towed with in 30 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE. At least have your employees verbally warn their customers not to park in front of their own restaurant

Trien Doan

A new restaurant with some neat Southern Charm. The food is pretty good, better than average. Some interesting sauces to be had. It should be on your list to try.

Soren Roth

Food was good, tasty, but definitely non-standard BBQ. For example, there is no way to order chopped chicken except through a "salad" which is just JoJos, sauce, and chopped chicken. Hard to judge because they seemed understaffed but there were only a couple tables occupied. It was just after lunch so I give them a pass. As far as atmosphere, it was clean which I appreciate, but I will say that there was a definite cookie cutter, TGIFriday's vibe. Sports was playing on 5 or 6 different TVs. Country music was playing, there was a lot of crazy stuff on the shelves along the walls like old gas station signs. I'll definitely go back but if I want traditional BBQ, I'll go elsewhere.

Jim Purcell

Big' Chicken is a terrific addition to the downtown Beaverton food scene. This Alabama style smoked BBQ'd chicken establishment offers chicken plus an array of southern soul food sides. I had the half chicken dinner with JoJo's and coleslaw. The chicken had a sweet smokey flavor that the white gold sauce enhanced. The JoJo's were lightly breaded and not at oily. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating available, they have a full bar, and I found everything reasonably priced. I would recommend a visit.

Dustin Montgomery

We ordered off grubhub 20 minutes before it closed (we didn't realize that). The whole order was very clearly fresh cooked. Except for the dirty rice. But most restaurants will make a large batch at a time and dish it out as the day goes, make another big batch. Zero complaints about that since they were about to close. I'm sure if it was fresh I would have been very happy with it. It clearly has flavor. The chicken was superb. Cooked well, and seasoned wonderfully. Both the grilled and fried. I don't think I've ever eaten grilled chicken this good. The fried chicken, I can't decide if I like it better than fried chicken from Screen Door. It's great stuff. The white gold BBQ sauce is really good and goes on everything. Do yourselves a favor and stop in and try this place out. There's a reason such a new restaurant has so many great reviews.

Rafael Valencia

Best wings in town! Double smoked!!

Emily Thoreson

I wasn't sure how this place was going to be but knowing they are connected to a few other big-deal places, I gave it a go. I'm so glad I did! Short version; go! You'll be happy if you like this kind of food. If you want a health meal, go somewhere else or get a salad. It is a seriously worthy cheat meal though. Haha! Long version: Until now, I hadn't had a chicken sandwich I was truly happy with. At other restaraunts, they either didn't have the right crisp or flavor, or they were so big the chicken thigh wouldn't get the chance to cook to fully render the fat. I was cautious but when the owner recommended their OG dish, the sandwich, I said okay! Let's go for it. While waiting, I grabbed my drink and took a seat. I won't go on too long, but I'll just say the ambiance is nice. It's comfortable, it's homey, it's the perfect kind of place to grab a quick lunch or bring friends. I didn't feel out of place even eating lunch alone nor did I feel like I had to carry my purse with me every time I got up to grab a napkin or drink. It's like I stepped into the south. My food came out quickly and hot. The JoJo's are the best I've had in my life, and the sandwich was perfectly balanced. Multiple smaller pieces of fried chicken made up the sandwich (not just one hunk of chicken thigh, but believe me when I say it was a generous amount!). The sandwich also wasn't a sopping mess like all the others I've tried at other places, yet still had all the flavor. The sauces paired perfectly with it. I'm so impressed with the balance they were able to find with spice/vinegar/flavor. They are perfect! I'll be back for sure. Thanks for the great lunch Big's!

Keenon Ono

I've been there a couple times and we had them cater at my work. They were great and everyone loved the food. Normally we have leftovers but we didn't have anything after this event

Elizabeth McLeod

Good food as long as you like spicy. Fast service and the chicken was still tender and juicy. I would recommend avoiding the Moscow mule.

Everyday Trae

Service Was Excellent! Chicken was just okay. Ordered the wings and jojo's. Our expectations were high. Whenever we drove by the place it was always crowded.. Will give them another opportunity....

Travis Illig

I liked it, but I had a lot of people tell me how this is the best chicken they've ever had. I think the build up may have colored my perception. It's good. You'll like it.

mike handley

Probably the worst chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was a ball of Grease with very little flavor. That coupled with the $13 price tag, and I doubt I will ever return. What Fried Chicken restaurant only fries thighs and nothing else? Huge disappointment

Beasley

Monday Happy Hour , price was excellent and so was the food. Parking is the only issue

Tzy-Tao Yang

Very nice chicken joint. Smoke and deep fried chicken wings are very good. Coleslaw is not the creamy kind. Can I call it rustic style. :-) Great, fast, and friendly services. Expect wait/line during meal time. Take out can be an alternatives when it is busy. Wish I live close by. Highly recommended.

Chris Hale

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. The chicken was hot and well cooked. It just wasn't very flavorful. The sauces were also not very good. The potatoes were very good, easily the best thing there. Cool vibe, I just wish the food was better.

Angel Ware

Delicious. Fast. Fresh. Outside seating on nice day. Yum

Michelle Burns

Too spicy for me and my daughter. EVERYTHING is marinated in the spicy sauce. They claimed if they left off the extra sauce, we should be fine and we tried to keep eating it but too much for someone not into spicy. JoJo's were the bomb! Hubby was really happy at first but stated that later he had an after taste that didn't sit well.

Kevin Woods

I do not know why this place is so highly rated. I am from the South and this chicken is decent but nothing to go out of your way for. There is a small parking lot but you will more than likely have to find street parking. I ordered the Big Dirty with a piece of chicken. The Big Dirty is Jojos topped with shredded chicken, cheese, verde sauce, and other items. This tasted amazing when trying it with the other sauces. They only sell chicken thighs as individual pieces and they cost $4 each. Who charges $4 for a chicken thigh? Definitely not worth it.

Marie A

Little disappointed, chic sandwich with slaw and jojos $12 . Not sure what I was expecting, it was just a grilled chix thigh sandwich with a flavorful rub.

Edna Espiritu

Great grilled chicken! Spicy mild but you can bring up the heat. Love the fried broccoli and potatoes too. Reasonably priced! It is packed to the gills here. Great for family too

David Cardenal

Dirty jojos are outstanding. Pickles are house made and perfect. Chicken wings had good flavor, but some were very tiny.

Andi & Bug

I have seen the light!! Your stomach will love you! Affordable and reasonably priced. Big portions. Amazing food. Really has a nice kick to it and the Dirty Jo-Jo's are to die for! And oh lord that sweet tea!! Just a great place for a quick bite or some comfort dining! Really friendly employees with good recommendations if your a first-timer!

Aron Kerr

Really good fried chicken sandwiches! I got the coleslaw and my wife got the jojo's. Both were fantastic. It is decently spicy though so I would ask about the spice level if you are ordering for a kid or don't like spicy food.

nikkonia .

Good southern food. I enjoyed the corn pancakes and the chicken burger. All the food was amazing couldn't help but start eating before I took pictures. I recommend to try this place out. The food is all smoked and pretty heavy so make sure you go with an appetite. I loved the atmosphere and the music was amazing. Would love to come back and have a beer on the outside patio.

Kristofer Parker

I tend to dislike commercialism, but I bought a T-shirt with my crispy chicken sandwich and black eyed pea salad and have zero regrets. I'll happily rock a well-fitting advertisement for a restaurant that cooked some really good food for me. I stand behind this place. Beware the table hot sauce, it's delicious and you'll slather your food in it, but it's a slow burn and halfway through your meal your scalp will start to sweat. That said, slather away. It's part of the experience that makes this place memorable.

Angered Bees

Dopest chicken in town bruh

C.C C

We went in blind...had no idea what to expect. Assumed it was fried chicken, but nah. We got wings, wedges and fried broccoli w/ pimento cheese. The dry rub on the wings is good, has a kick to it, but super salty. Fried broccoli was so close to being on point but again, too dang salty.

Edgar Ruiz

If you got a craving for good chicken, go somewhere else. This place is serving up GREAT chicken! Menu has so many options. There's something for everyone, even the kiddos. Grilled or fried, they have you covered. Spacious location with outdoor seating. They have heaters out there, so even if it's a bit chilly, you're taken care of. Great staff, great food.

Missy Villa

This place has incredible food and a fun vibe! I highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich with jojos. So freaking good!!

Dustin Juhring

Phenomenal chicken, possibly the best fried chicken I've ever had. I've only had the fried chicken thigh meal but I don't think I need anything else. Smoked chicken then flash fried with a slightly spicy and herby coating. The Jojos that come with the meals are also probably the best jojos I've ever had. I wish they had more locations.

Julian van

Fried chicken sandwich was good, but hardly had any fries. It was $11.50. Quite pricey, especially for Beaverton. Too much ice in the BlackBerry lemonade for $8. I commented on this to the person bringing the food. It was filled up with ice to the brim and it seemed like it wasn't properly portioned. Really was not worth the 8 bucks. For happy hour though it's a decent price, only $5. It's very loud here acoustically due to modern interior, and when we were there it sounded like an indoor swimming pool. I think the hype has gotten to them a bit as well.

fboodysan

This place was just amazing. Our work was trying to find a good westside wing place and this is by far the best. Ordered a whole bird with broccoli and corn cakes, 24 pieces of delicious fried chicken wings and some other yummy sides for four guys. It was enough but every bite was a new flavorful experience. The staff were helpful and friendly. And this place does have that “trendy” northwest atmosphere to it. We are already planning on taking the entire office here. Thanks for being in Beaverton.

Sheena Oliver

Best food , customer service Experience ever and Brandon makes sure your order is perfect. Thanks to all the Big’s team

Daniel Hunter

If you like chicken then its worth a try but the prices, flavors, and variety left more to be desired. Its simple food with simple flavors that you can get just about anywhere. Costco 5$ chicken with some hot sauce is about the same and will cost you half the price not including a drink. Their potato wedges were the only thing that stuck out for me. The chicken is all about the same and they expect you to use a few house sauces to get some flavor. The interior reminds me of the bbq pit places in Texas with farm style tables. During dinner rushes be expected to wait for tables or take it to go. Also, while we were there with our group we had the wait staff come by an excessive amount of times and we felt like we were expected to leave to make room for other customers instead of enjoying our drinks and conversations. Not something i will be going back for.

Amy Westcott

This place is so insanely good! The chicken, the broccoli, the little corn cakes! Just crazy good. The chicken.

max perrella

The chicken really shines, all the care (marinated, smoked, then grilled or fried and then sauced) works well together. The JoJo's are OR tradition done right. My personal favorite is the fried broccoli. I asked my kid about the banana pudding, and it's apparently the real deal.

R C

Food is good but the service is not that good., plus you have to pick the dishes even though you tips them with 20% .

Tyler Hill

One of the few good restaurants in Beavertown. Unfortunately I’ll never be back. I love spicy food but my stomach can’t handle it anymore. The kiddos can’t either. Maybe someday they’ll have a mild version of the same thing. Everyone else...enjoy!

Zack Davis

For American style fried chicken, this is the best in 100 miles. First time here? Fried boneless chicken thighs. Trust me. The seasoning has enough kick to let you know you're alive, but not so much that it feels like punishment. Cool it down with some cole slaw if it gets to be a bit too much. The half and whole chicken options are also delicious but don't come in the fried variety. Good, but the fried chicken is what really shines here.

Robert Hermosillo

Wing fan here. This place strikes a bold move with dry rub wings. I'm a HUGE fan of a dry rub on wings since it preserves the crispy outer texture. So, I was very surprised when I found them to be quite bland. Almost no flavor at all. They need to propped up by the sauces provided. I only ordered wings, so I cannot comment on their other offerings. The staff are very friendly, and from my experience, have great attitudes. Expect to pay $12-15 per plate. Atmosphere: No frills, sports bar-ish.

Bruce Gudmundsson

This place just keeps suprising me. I had their dry rub chicken wings and loved all 18 of them. So freaking good. Simple service. No fuss, no muss.

Fabian Julian Anthony

Amazing sauces to go with the fantastic chicken. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with JoJo's and a small side of dirty rice. The meal was amazing! The 3 house sauce are unique and flavorful. 4.8

George Deyarmond

Great food with a laid back atmosphere.

Jeffrey Champoux

Tons of seating, fantastic menu with lots of flavors. Some of the best chicken I have had.

Cory Fallon

Good chicken and sauces. Delicious Jo-Jo's! Easy ordering, good service, and clean restaurant. Hilarious 90's jams on the Muzak. Only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the noise levels of the music, people, TVs were a bit much but that's expected from minimalist design, nothing to absorb sounds. But overall great experience. We will be back.

Pete Brown

Dude, good chicken. From the custom sauces that you can access from a cold case by yourself next to the soda fountain, to the open ambience, and how they check on people and ask how they like their food yet the prices are not bad, it's got pedigree quality. One of the people working there told me the owner used to be involved in line cook work/management. It shows. The food was quick and had quality in the presentation at the same time. I'm glad we have this place to go to. A lot of fried chicken places mess up and try to go uptown, or can't seem to get their recipe dialed in but Bigs Chicken is serving the area with quality.

Lois Miller

The smoked ear of corn was mouthwatering!!! Nice place and the white bbq sauce is wonderful!

Holly Morse

It's awesome! Very casual, really noisy because there's no carpet or upholstery to block the sound. There's something on the menu for almost everybody (don't take your vegan friends.) Some gluten free options, too. The Moscow Mule is delicious! I'm vegetarian and gf, and I love the coleslaw. My husband adores the chicken wings and mashed potatoes. My only concern is the sourcing of the chicken/ eggs... can't tell if any of it is local or even humanely raised.

Fuck Antifa!

Sub par at best. Over cooked chicken slaw had to mcuh spice and soda was nasty as well.

Nick Wright

Look. Just go to this place. It’s awesome. The Bigs Chicken Sandwich is killer. And I don’t even like coleslaw and I get slaw on it! Definitely worth the drive to go here and hammer down some smoked chicken!

Tyler Bice

Quick eats, great food. Tons of tvs. I'll definetly go back, next time I'm in the mood for chicken. Oh, and I ordered the Chicken Sandwich special. Came with a beer and good jo jos for $9.95. All day happy hour on Mondays

Charise Bennett

Delicious house salad with grilled chicken! I love being able to have a healthier choice as my main course so I can eat a few of their delicious Jo Jo fries. They have a great kids menu too!

Jaye Matthews

Not that they really need more reviews, but as someone who doesn't eat chicken, I found plenty of options. All the sides are delicious and I love that they have outdoor seating and a decent beer selection. The mules are pretty good too.

Mel

My friends love it. I just thought the food was okay and would not go back. They were packed though with tons of happy customers!

M. Cruz

First off— I love wings, so I might be a little bias in giving it a full 5stars... But these wings were super juicy while still crispy on the outside. Good flavor (I mean FLAVOR) not just salt :) Since it was happy hour, we also got the whole bird meal.. —Chicken from that meal was also super juicy, and not the undercooked kind of juicy either (those who know chicken know what I mean). —Dirty rice was tasty, and the rice wasn’t mushy, nor undercooked... GOOD RICE! —Salad was something new for me, with a little tang and a little vinegary flavor, but still good. —Fried Broccoli was a bit oily for me, but IT’S FRIED, so it is what it is. It had a really good sauce to accompany it. Sorry— no photos on this review, but seen one photo, seen em all.

Krissy Gilbert

Delicious mules, JoJo's, and fried chicken sandwich. So good and would love to eat late at night.

Joe Davis

Supper stoked on the fried chicken sandwich! The chicken was moist and flavorful, the slaw was perfect and the bun was soft and crispy. My only issue is I didn’t get 2!! Good job to the people that work there.

Adam Knutson

It may look like a pretty typical chicken joint. There isn't much flare to the place but this place proves you don't need flare to serve damn-good food. After looking over the menu, I sauntered nervously up to the staff behind the iPad and ordered some wings. When they arrived at the table, they were heavenly. The wings were deliciously crispy with a dry rub coating. The white sauce was mustard, mayo, and vinegar-based so I'm one hundred percent onboard. The other sauce we grabbed was the Fresno Sauce which was chili-based. It was good but not outstanding. With the crispy outside, each and every bite was incredible. The chicken inside was still juicy though! Adding sauce to your liking seems to be a rare thing to see and Big's doesn't rely on just their sauce to sell chicken. I'll dock them points though as I feel the quality of the wings weren't anything special. Pretty par-for-the-course wings you can buy in batches. Overall, I'll dock them an overall point for the chicken quality but otherwise it's stellar and I would be happy to revisit.

Maddie Mie

Great eats. Fantastic chicken.

B_Rad

I loved it, but I love spicy food. My wife? Not so much. Would be nice if there were a non-spicy option as this means I probably won't be able to go back. If you like spicy chicken, you will like it.

Jessica Hill

The food and service is good but I do not like spicy food.

Janice Messer

Loved the food and the selection. The staff was helpful for me to be able to eat gluten free. What I was able to eat, was extra tasty. Try the corn on the cob, I will be back just for that! Please try and get some desserts for celiac/gluten free.

Ivan Forslund

Damn great food and drink!!

Jessica P

The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean, Unfortunately the food was ok. I have heard a lot of good things about this place so was looking forward to trying. It may be a personal taste as the chicken was cooked well, I just didn't like the flavor, good amount of heat though.

Larry Betz

Flavor of the chicken thighs was great. However, it was the first restaurant I have seen that did not let you swap sides around... Even for a buck or two, just no. Servers did seem to want us to leave quickly, came by and took plates from us 3 times. But they servers were very nice and friendly. I will go back... Good sauces too

Jim Na

We came here for dinner during a recent trip to Portland. In all there were 7 of us, but we were seated quickly. We ordered a good sample of meat sections, as well as coleslaw and a nice salad. All were tasty, but my favorite was the chicken wings which had a delicious rub on it with a good smoky flavor. The restaurant decoration was retro, with what appears to be reclaimed wood and old aluminium siding, as well as a big collection of old license plates. Definitely reminds me of my days in Alabama. Would highly recommend!

Casey Braunger

We love this place. Best JoJo's ever. And the chicken is ridiculously tasty. I could drink the "white gold" sauce.

Stephanie King

The food is tasty. Love the wings. I think they're kind of overpriced tho. Shrug.

Lewis Gouge

Big's Chicken is great! Food is fantastic, staff are super friendly and helpful. One of the best places in Beaverton to eat and relax.

Timothy Gaynor

We went for happy hour, and couldn't have been more impressed. We had one of pretty much the entire menu and each dish was so tasty. The Mosco Mule is really good, but be careful, they are strong!

Austin Goff

Randomly walked in on Monday night because I was wanting chicken and was in the area. All I have to say, is anywhere I can get 2 plates of chicken poutine and 2 beers for less than 17 dollars is 5 stars in my book.

Corey

Big's chicken is good eatin'. Do yourself a favor and get a Little Dirty w/ a fried egg. Big's has a good location. They open their big garage size doors on nice days. Time from order to eating is within the realm of fast-casual. The food, overall, is great! Very well done, southern inspired comfort food.

Thomas Kelson

This place is fantastic. Everything on the menu is perfect. The chicken was a masterpiece. The Jo- Joe's were amazing. The broccoli was unimaginably good.

doodlemyster

Good happy hour prices and surprisingly good food

Tyler R.

Great food, beers on tap!

Kathy Clark

We were really looking forward to trying this place. The food was ok, but 2 of the 3 servers we encountered had very snotty attitudes. They were enough to ruin this place for us.

Celina Walkowicz

Clean, nice atmosphere, delicious food. I'm excited to go back.

Shane Witbeck

Order the smoked wings and Jojo’s. They have a good selection of cocktails and beer as well.

Hubert Liu

Very cool space with lots of seating and TVs playing sports and other channels. I was disappointed by the dryness of the whole bird chicken and the amount of sauce they put on it. Jo Jos were perfect. Slaw is good. Friend broccoli was good, but ask for the sauce on the side; we found it to be too salty and they set the broccoli right on the sauce. Wings were a bit small, but damn they were tasty. Will come back to try more items on the menu!

Bobbie Jean Kuhn

Great food, we get the family dinner, side salad, broccoli. All very yummy. Responsibly priced. The chicken is seasoned to perrrfection.

Emily H.

Love this place! Went there twice last week. Highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich and Little Dirty. Their black-eyed pea salad is a great foil to the richness of the chicken. Prices are great. Staff is great. Not too busy at lunch time on a week day. They even have beer and draft cocktails. A great place for lunch!

Came during Portland's 'wings week'... Did NOT disappoint! Great wings, great flavors, great spice, great sauces. I definitely recommend.

Beat chicken in Beaverton! Love the vibe, the menu, and the prices. Everything on the menu is delicious, and their sauces put it over the top! I loved it. I’ll be back again and again. Thanks guys!

This is quickly becoming a favorite. We get the family meal with fried broccoli and mashed potatoes. Plenty for 2 plus leftovers. We will be using the catering service Labor Day weekend. This is tasty food!!

I'll give this place a solid four for the consistently delicious food. But at 5:15, with almost no line and a pretty empty restaurant, I waited longer than the person behind me for my food. My mistake seems to be ordering my food to go. Grub Hub, on the other hand, seemed to walk right in and walk right out. Two delivery people walked in while I was waiting. One was out before me and the other walked out right behind me. Please don't punish your in house customers by trying to keep up with Grub Hub.
