My family and I decided to drive all the way from Grants Pass to eat here yesterday! We learned that the carne asada fries that we really wanted were from the day before, (from their food truck). Although the aroma smelled delicious from the parking lot, the food was nothing special in my opinion. I ordered the crispy fish tacos and was not happy! Over $70 dollars later (for a family of 4 and we went cheap) and left dissatisfied. Bummer!!

The blue cheese steak bites were by far my favorite. As well as the artichoke dip. I do with the meats had been separated so I could see which is which without having to dig around. THE RANCH IS BOMB.

Excellent food, arguably the best Caesar salad in Southern Oregon, Homemade everything. Brisket, pastrami dip, and burgers all amazing. Service, zero complaints! When in Jacksonville 1 of my 2 favorites.... keep up the good work guys ! I don’t believe in 100 percent positive reviews on restaurants because generally sometimes always something could be improved, so my one recommendation improve lighting and ambiance...decor , etc

Service was nonexistent. Attempted to come in for lunch, walked out 15 minutes later. Walked in with no one to greet me, no sign indicating seat yourself or wait to be seated. I sat down thinking I would be brought a menu but no one was around. The bar is separate from the restuarant seating & entrance so the employees cannot see anyone in the restaurant or that's come in. A couple ladies were obviously done eating & clearly irritated waiting for a check for who knows how long. We left because "ain't nobody got time for that". It smelt good so I'm sure the food would have been delicious but unless you have all day I wouldn't recommend trying to stop here for lunch.

Absolutely fantastic food the building is kind of a rustic Western. They have a lounge they serve alcohol the brisket is to die for. They also have sampler platters with any kind of barbecued meat you can imagine anything you name it they have it. We've been there twice and would definitely go again

Really cute little barbecue place boss is really good and they have a special pink sauce for French fries which is delicious. Have had a great meal there in the past this one was only okay brisket was dry probably previous days. Pulled pork was good. But I really go to barbecue places for the brisket.

This was the most wonderful place to have dinner. Try the sampler/shrimp tacos with corn/salads/soups & most importantly-the cocktails. Alexis was a great server with torn ligaments (?). Warriors lost but the evening with John & Judy priceless . Great spot and highly recommended!

Service was pretty rough. Forgot just about everything we asked for. Ordered a milk for my son and she forgot it. Ordered an appetizer, she forgot it. Ordered no tomatoes on the salad, she forgot. We had to get our own silverware off of another table. Could have been a decent experience but due to service that is out the door. The food was good and we will be back to give them another try. Just hope we get a different server.

One of my favorite places in southern Oregon hands down. I've had good bbq in Texas, Missouri, and in the south, back porch definitely in my opinion stands with some of the best. Some of the best brisket I've ever had. Staff treats you like family. Been coming here for almost 20 years and food is still great, every time.

Was really hoping for more. Seems like a great place with friendly staff. The meat seemed a bit dry and overcooked, but thankfully was still edible. I ordered the 3 meat plate in order to have some for later. The sweet potato fries are great and well worth the upgrade. I guess if I want tender and juicy BBQ I'll have to do it myself.

Best Cobb Salad ever. Have them sit or in the kitchen. Plenty for two. Have sweet potatoes fried with ranch dressing and a side of Siracha to mix in with the ranch. The fish tacos are also excellent. Never had a bad meal there. BBQ is also excellent and you can order their BBQ Wagon to cater at your party.

The food that I tried at this restaurant was fantastic! The cowboy old fashioned theme makes it a fun place for conversation. Definitely for more quiet occasions but still fun. The potato salad and burger I tasted amazing and were unique in their flavor, but would be pleasing to a wide variety of people. This is definitely the place to stop at and eat if you go to Jacksonville. I would definitely come here over and over whenever I'd visit.

Nice cozy place with western motif. Friendly and attentive staff. Great looking menu with a surprising number of items. Burgers, BBQ, tex mex, and even ahi tuna. But I figured, I am at a BBQ joint and I better try BBQ. My benchmark is brisket. Extremely difficult to master and should really only be done if you feel confident in serving it. I was there last night, height of tourist and Britt festival... No low turnover products on a day like today, or so I thought. I had the back porch salad with brisket meat option. Very low carb friendly. But the brisket was below average. It had the acrid taste of an electronic smoked brisket, no crust, and fat was completely unrendered. Granted brisket is challenging, but this just wasn't close. It was properly sliced on the bias, but then further chunked.(I really prefer pencil width strips on the bias and the full width of the cut) Not entirely tender, and even bit dry... I attribute that to what I think is electronic smoking with no render. This is the kind of quality I got from my cookshack smoker, and why I got rid of it. A Traeger can do a much better job, but a properly tended pit gets this meat done right. Anyway, I did try some pork ribs from another plate at the table , and found those good. Those would have been the better choice. BBQ sauce is good as well,but there appears to be only one. With all the styles and regional preferences, (including heat level) it would be nice to see more choices on that front as well.

The menu has something for everyone...from the lighter fare, to the "I gotta eat it all"!! The soups are terrific too. Can be spendy, but here, you really get your money's worth!!

Very flavorful food in a relaxed atmosphere. My friend ordered the mac and cheese with shrimp and mushrooms not only was it a huge portion, it was Amazing! I had the grilled salmon and it was good too. Last time I was here, we ordered the sample platter which was so good we made a point to come back. We were bery pleased with our experience.
