I was kind of disappointed the last two times coming in. The crunchy taco shells are processed now. The portions were smaller. There is no combo appetizer option like they had for years. The apple juice for our kid was room temperature cider. She refused to drink it and has never turned down juice. We asked if we could switch to orange juice and the server happily changed it for us but too was room temperature and tasted like it had just been mixed from frozen concentrate. She wouldn't drink that either. Overall the Service was great but the food was really mediocre and not worth what we paid. It felt like pre-made fast food more than it tasted like the old Azteca we were use to. I hope it changes back to how it use to be.

Great occasional pitstop for some filling Mexican food. 12oz Margarita Mondays for $2.99 and some chips makes for a not too bad end of day Monday treat. The staff and service is great as well.

Wow!!!! I’m so disappointed!!!!!! I brought family from out of state to have a good time and show them what Oregon is all about. Dam man service here was disappointing!!! They said we were being to loud and they couldn’t give us a Cobeta (Bucket of beer) we had to wait and hour to get another round. They wanted us to wait and be on there time. It was only 9:30pm our first round was disappointing the beers were HOT and they didn’t even fill the ice all the way! The ice was to the bottom. We asked the STAFF lady witch was out waitress if we could get more ice and it seem to be a problem! We even asked her to feel the beers so she can know they were hot. She shook her head and said she just got them out the frig and walked away! And just stop severing us. We called her plenty of times. She couldn’t even tell us she refused our service. We just went to have a good time but I guess our good time and money was good. To be honest we weren’t even being rude or nothing we just complain about two things and she got hostile about it. The Manager on the shift was just ridiculous . He was the one saying we had to wait and hour. NEVER AGAIN and I am telling my friends and family!

I went to the Beaverton location twice and both times it was nasty. My al padtor tacos were a pile of cooked onions, 3 fat pieces as the pork and a mix an match of flour and corn tortillas. The rice was hard and old with lettuce mixed in it. It literally looked like they scrape food from leftover plates . Pay attention and examine your food at this gross place. Margarita didn't even tasted like Margarita. Zero stars but to review you have to press a star. Very disappointed both times exactly the same happened. I Do Not recommend waisting your money at this place.

I very much wanted to give this restaurant a five star review, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. The food here is DELICIOUS and the probs are huge which is great. The staff and service however are always disappointing. You would be lucky to have your water refilled once during your meal, and the entire time you are ordering the waiter/waitress seems as if they are annoyed to be having to deal with you. It's unfortunate because like I said, the food is great.

Up until today, I have really enjoyed coming to Azteca for their Sunday Brunch. The food is pretty good, service is okay and it's a champagne brunch, which is a nice touch. I believe that they have recently raised the price by quite a bit. I remember it being about $15.95 for adults within the last year or two but today when we went, it had gone up to $18.95 for adults and they charged that same price for my 12-year-old son which was a real shock. I understand charging more for a 12 year old than for a 5 year old, but at a champagne brunch, a 12 year old shouldn't pay the same as the adults who can partake in champagne and mimosas. All in all, it's just not a decent deal for us anymore. When it was around $15.95 for adults and $8 for our son, it was a good deal at about $40 before tip for our family of 3. Today it was about $57 before tip for our family. That's just too much. The food is pretty good but not worth $60, in my opinion. I know there are Sunday brunches that are in that price range and higher, but I think those are qualitatively different. They tend to be much more elegant and have things like fresh fruits, sliced cheeses, shrimp cocktail and a carving station. The atmosphere at Azteca is okay, but not super nice. For example, today there was graffiti on the wall by my seat. I just don't think that it is nice enough for the price. At that price I would rather skip the brunch and just order off the menu somewhere closer to home.

Well prepared food presented very well. Very tasty and quality food. When I order my meal, I always look for a balanced diet. More vegetables, less carbs and some protein. The meal they have prepared for us had everything. Loved every bit of it. I had to give 4 stars because of the service. They don't really come around after taking your order and when I was leaving, i have noticed that most of the servers gather around and chatting with each other without doing their job.

Food is good. Not great, but good. The reason I won't be back is the service. This is the 2nd chance I've given them. They seat you, eventually get around to taking your order. Once your drinks & meals are delivered, you pretty much cease to exist. My drink has been sitting empty at the edge of the table the last 6 times the server has walked by. I started out curious to see how long it would take. Now I'm just bored and ready to get my check and leave.

I've eaten here many times before but tried their Sunday brunch buffet for the first time yesterday. Aah, it's delicious, totally worth it. Champagne's great. No corn tortillas at the buffet tables, but was given some free of charge. This restaurant has friendly and courteous staff, and really the simple thing that might push it to my #1 favorite west side Mexican restaurant is the availability of free refried beans at the salsa bar. The salsas are great, too. I came on a day when they were super fresh and couldn't get enough of the spicy orange one. Keep up the good work.

I would have have given then 4 or 5 stars a few months back. My wife and I go here fairly often. However, the service wasn't great last time and they were out of the a al crema sauce. But I realize that can change. What is troubling, is the condition of the property. There are many potholes in the parking lot. Tiles are falling off the exterior. Indoors, some of the ceiling vents are full of lint. The place isn't being cleaned or maintained well. When we left, there were no working lights outdoors and the parking lot was very dark. My wife can't see well when it's dark. I had to pull out a flashlight while she held on to me , in order to walk maybe 50 feet to the car. Anyhow , the food is still great but if they don't start doing some much needed maintenance, we may not go back.

After having dinner here I would say that Azteca is an average restaurant, not the best or the worst, definitely not authentic but more than others. The dishes are a bit on the overpriced side for what they are serving. The rice we had seemed to be a day old or so, since it tasted a bit old , and the amount of onions in our food/ salsa was way too much. The service was ok, once our waiter realized that I spoke Spanish they completely forgot that my husband was at the table, so I had to translate everything they asked, eventhough our waiter spoke perfect English when we first got there. I think My husband and I will stick to going to one of our favorite restaurants down the road, freshly made food, freshly made corn AND flour tortillas everyday.

This is one of our favorite places to go for a nice sit down experience. Don't let the "Appetizers" section fool you, though. They come with as much or more food than the entrees. Most dishes are $10-$12 and we usually have leftovers. The Nachos Azteca can feed our whole family. The food is always great and service usually is, as well.

We love mexican food. Most of the time we dont have time to sit down, but when we do, this is usually where we end up for lunch or dinner. We love the food, the staff are wonderful, the architecture and interior design..I could look at the detail for hours. Not only at the beauty, but wondering how they did it. I am an artist, so i can appreciate every brush stroke in the paintings. More than normal serving sizes, we always fill up, and end up taking a to-go box home.

I'm a Texan, so my Mexican food standards are high. The tortillas were obviously not made on site, and the salsa was anything but spicy and had a slight ketchup flavor. The margaritas were watery and mostly orange liqueur. Service was a bit surly too, surprisingly.

I came up from Texas and was worried I wouldn't be able to get Mexican food like I am accustomed to. This place didn't disappoint. While the menu is good and the drinks were well done, the real star was the Sunday buffet! OMG this was amazing! It was like your cardiologist had a delicious nightmare and you get to eat it! Cheese enchiladas, check. Bacon, check. Spicy chilies made into a wonderful dish, yup. AND you get complimentary champagne. I could go on, but really, I don't want to be too gracious because I don't want to everyone out there in TV land packing the line and then making me wait when I show up.

Azteca has been a favorite of my family's for over 20 years but in the last years the service has been HORRIBLE. Every time we come they mess up at least one of our meals and never take responsibility. The food has always been yummy, but we've thought about never coming back over and over because of how horrible the service is.

I just picked up a doordash order from this restaurant, and the employee was very rude. He appeared to be the manager. I do not recommend the service. He seemed to have a big chip on his shoulder. It was not a pleasant experience.

One of the best places to try authentic Mexican cuisine in Beaverton. The food was great and the portion sizes were huge. I had the chicken fajitas and they were amazing. Good service at a reasonable price, highly recommended.
