I love this place enough to drive an hour to eat here. I've had about half of their menu and never been disappointed once. This hidden gem is worth it .

Karen Freeman

Hidden treasure. Deliscious authentic Korwan comfort food.

Brandee Kuzma

Amazing Korean food. Get the kimchi and pork pancake. It's not spicy and is the best thing I've ever eaten. I also loved the spicy pork bulgogi. I am not a spicy food person. This was not too spicy and was heavenly!

I wanted to give 2 starts because of the horrible customer service. Servers will never even look at you after they sit you down and take the order which also take more than 20 minutes. We basically sat there more than an hour after placing the order to get the food. Once they give you the meal, they will not look at you no matter if you try to get their attention. When they realized that we are done eating, one lady came around and asked, do you need anything else (by knowing that we have already finished our meal). I gave one extra star because of the food. They are authentic and well prepared. I don't think that we are going to return to this restaurant. There are other Korean restaurants such as Gangnam Korean BBQ where food and the service is great.

Still my favorite Korean restaurant in the PNW even with the amount of Korean restaurants I have near me in Seattle. Visiting friends and family in Portland, Spring Restuarant is definitely on the places to eat while I'm in town.

This gem is tucked away on the second floor of a grocery store. This is my favorite place in all of Oregon for Korean food. Their Spicy Pork Bulgogi is so delicious I'm hungry just thinking about it. Their Kalbi Yukgaejang (spicy beef rib soup) is perfect for a chilly day. The service is great and I am always satisfied. It is more on the expensive side but totally worth it and the portions are huge!

Carol Ma

Very authentic Korean restaurant. Always order #25. They have great brown rice.

Matthew Schueller

The best Korean food in Beaverton!

Lyndon Beckner

This is a pretty good Korean joint located up the back stairwell of a pretty good Korean grocery store. Very spicy tteokbokki (which is good) as well as various types of soup. Service was quick!

would give them zero star if I can. I used to come here a lot because the food is great but wow, they discriminate against none Korean speaking Asians. My friend and I ordered the most expensive item on the list and they only give us 3 complementary small dishes when every other table got 7...when asked, they said the small dishes doesn’t come with our order...how when we ordered multiple dishes and more expensive in our total check than everyone else. I felt like they were judging my friend and I the whole time...worst feeling ever when all we wanted was to enjoy a good meal There are better places to eat at with better service and not making you feel belittled. If you are not Korean, don’t come here. They will judge you.

Best authentic Korean food in town. Not a lot of tables so it can get cozy. Some times there is a waiting line.

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. I dream about the dumpling rice cake soup. Service is very friendly, and you get a fun view over the grocery store from up there on the balcony.

They bring you a lovely cup of tea before you even order. We ordered the Kimchi Chigae, Hae Mui Maewoon Udon, & steamed dumplings. The Kimchi Chigae came with big cubes of tofu & the broth in a rolling boil, it was rich & very hot. The Udon dish sauce was spicy & slightly sweet. The pickled items that accompany everything really are great & such a treat to add to any dish you may order.

My chicken fried rice tasted like oil. Barely found some chicken. Side dishes were old. Won Tom's were old. There is no way these reviews are represented correctly as this is the worst korean in oregon

Good Korean restaurant tucked in the upper floor of the supermarket. We like their spicy pork bulgogi, seafood pancake, sun dobu jige (tofu soup), and their man du (steam potsticker).

Nice selection!

Great Beef Bulgogi! Very nice service! Very authentic! In a random Korean grocery store, hidden away upstairs. I had two minor complaints: 1) no beer served, even though the store sells it, and 2) the Kimchee needed more kick. Now that I have discovered it, I will go back often.

Zack Kahler

Food was quite good. The service was decent, but strange. It seems pretty well geared to the Korean community, and not to tourists, etc, but they were still very friendly.

Tori H

Great price for how much you get, good food. Could have done with more beef though... but still a lot of side dishes.

Jennifer Park

Several Korean dishes to satisfy different cravings. Some dishes don't come with side dishes or rice but it's well noted on the menu. Recommended: #1 in house made mandu (dumplings) and #22 - which had more short ribs than what I expected which was great.

Melissa Marquez

Honestly can’t make a comment on the food because little did we know, it’s upstairs and has no access for wheelchairs. I think any establishment this day and age that doesn’t have access is pretty ridiculous. The woman I spoke to was rude as well. Everyone in that establishment all just kind of stared at us. It was humiliating. If you’re disabled and or in a wheelchair and need accessibility steer clear of this place.

Julianne Tilley

My husband and I were highly satisfied to have come across this restaurant as we were passing through Portland. The food was delicious, fresh, and HOT; my soup came out bubbling. The servers were kind, responsive, and hard working. The service was quick and our food was delicious! The prices are very reasonable for how much food you end up with on your plate. I highly recommend you stop in if you are in the area or passing through. You will be pleased!

Spicy noodle soup is hidden in the back of an unassuming Korean grocer.

Great food. Super authentic

GREAT Korean food. The Bean Paste soup and the kimchi fried rice is my favorite. It is difficult to order on the phone as they usually don't speak English.

This amazing Korean place is in the top floor of the G mart grocery store. Was here on Saturday during lunch. Pretty small restaurant, only about 10 tables, and they quickly became packed after we arrived. Had the beef bulgogi, chicken bulgogi, short ribs, bibimbap and topokki. Loved the short ribs and chicken bulgogi! The only disappointment was the bibimbap, which was just OK. Service was decent. They were slammed after we arrived and still refilled our tea. Only 1 server for the whole place. 4/5 will come back.

Amazing Korean food on the second floor inside of G-Mart. A little expensive, but the food is always perfect and the service is great. They play K-Dramas on tiny TVs in the corners, and the place is packed with Koreans. That means it must be authentic right?

Colleen Mossor

Love the authentic feel of this little hole in the wall. Staff is always friendly and food is great, lots of panchan dishes too.

Small hole in the wall feel, but legit korean cuisine. It’s my go to korean spot for authentic korean food!

One of my regular rotations. Lines could be long but definitely worth it. Try Gam Ja Tang. My favorite!

Xu Wang

One of my favorite Korean restaurants around. Wins with pricing and decent food. Also a lot more casual since it is situated inside a grocery store. My Korean friends also prefer this place for quick bus over the more fancy spots.

Excellent korean restaurant hidden in a korean supermarket.

I really enjoyed the meal. While it's a weird set up, inside of G-Mart, which is itself a rip off a H-Mart, the actual restaurant is tucked away on the second floor. I'm sorry to hear some people had a bad experience there, but I found the service to be good. We got pretty good Korean food and they had a very wide range of choices. It's also very reasonable priced.

Amazing food, but service is consistently slow and rude (except for the young male server, who was polite). We'll go back for the food, probably.
