REVIEWS OF Abhiruchi South & North Indian Cuisine IN Oregon

Evans Reed

This is a fantastic restaurant! Everything is amazing, and very flavorful. Between Sudra, Bollywood theater, and Abhiruchi, I pick Abhiruchi.

Gary Chartier

The chicken tikka masala is literally tomato soup with chicken chunks. LITERALLY. The vindaloo is spicy but not flavorful. The food isn't bad tasting, just hardly worth mentioning. If you actually want Indian food keep looking.

David Walker

Great variety of tasty dishes @ lunch buffet!

Danila Fedorin

Good food, nice service. A little spicy for me, but delicious nonetheless.

jake coulson

Ordered several dishes delivered here from Amazon restaurants and it was delicious!

Jennifer Waldroup

Great food lacks ambiance and needs remodel

Aarti Bansal

Delicious affordable food, nice service, and great for catering orders! My husband and I were in a bind for our wedding and needed to place a catering order for 25 (pick-up). When Swagat failed to follow through the day before the wedding, Abhiruchi came to our rescue! Korma, Palak Paneer, Samosas, and Chicken Tikka were mildly spicy and a hit with the guests! The tasty dishes were crowd-pleasers as we received many compliments on the food and the trays were empty. The best part was the warm hospitality and superb humble service. When we walked in after 2pm and the buffet station has already closed, the staff went to the kitchen and let us sample some of the dishes. The staff was very accommodating and flexible with our last-minute order and lower prices than other restaurants. They also packaged up the food very well, so nothing spilled. Abhiruchi is a hidden gem with better food and service than Swagat.

Prasad Kale

Awesome food and best lunch buffet. Their quality has improved nowadays compared to few years back

acegreatnessgaming

The food is great and theres never a wait!

Vasu Dev

The appetizers and deserts here are the best of any Indian restaurants near by! The service is good and the main course is same as other places. They also have pop included in buffet. Must visit for Indian food.

Natasha Altman

This place has the best hospitality and customer service that I have ever had. I most definitely will be returning and bring all gamy friends and family!

Abhijit Bhure

Less veg options, taste is not so good. Chutney are good though

Curt Charles

Casual environment despite white table clothes. Northern and southern Indian fair. Great buffet at lunch during the week.

Ruth Paris

Great food. Love the lunch buffet.

rockyn317

I would not even give a rating 1 for this restaurant. if you are an Indian then you would be given the last priority here. the food tastes bad. I had ordered a dosa and the normal thing that one expects is a proper chutney but here i got to know that we get a different type of chutney... never had such a bad chutney in my lifetime.. Please don't go if you like spicy. they don't know how to prepare the food and only cater to people who are regular visitors. the regular visitors are given more priority even if you are the first one to arrive and order.. pathetic service as well..

Dinner. Eat here. 1: get the Thali. You won't be disappointed. The Dal was perfect. The Naan was absolutely fresh, plentiful, glistening but not soggy with ghee. The rice was perfect. Best Sanbar I've ever had. Even the Raita wowed me-- I don't like Raita most of the time. Ask for mango or tamarind chutney and it's on the house (and delicious.) Oh, and the lamb samosas were full of ground lamb and delicious with those chutneys. 2: Navartaan Korma. Thick, sweet, smooth, flavorful, with big chunks of veggies. Scrumptious. 3: Eggplant curry. Dare I say: perfect consistency. Not too spicy, but definitely not lacking a kick. Don't miss the chai spices in there. Mmmmmm. 4: a simpler thing: the hot tea. Served in stoneware, like grandma's house. Whatever black tea they have, I want it. 5: the desserts. I eat a lot of Kheer. It's like my favorite thing. Their Kheer is the best I have ever had. Whole cloves; served warm; long grain rice; even tapioca pearls. I'm also not going to lie, the Gulab Jamun was perfect. They threw on a small dose of the house-made mango ice cream, and I crunched into a whole almond. Ohmygod. Not to mention: open lateish, decent prices for quality and quantity of food, friendly staff, attentive service, a well decorated and homey space... we'll be back. I can't wait to try their lunch buffet!

simon waddington

Really nice service and food is so delicious. Highly recommend:)

Marian Hart

Although it is sort of hidden away next to the closed KMart, don't forget this gem. Family atmosphere and people who are consistent about their good indian food. Enjoy a daily buffet of freshly made food. It has been a favorite of my daughter and I for years. The decor is dated, but what matters of their excellent food and service. I liked this much better than the other ones in beaverton.

James C

I’ve been coming here for the last 20 years! This restaurant is fantastic especially for the lunch buffet. 11$ is so inexpensive for all this delicious healthy food! The owner is such a nice guy as well. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Troy Clark

The food served in the buffet never really changes. It is good. They often have very popular dishes, which disappear early. Often replaced with less than popular dishes. It's clean. We eat there regularly. It's good not great.

Joe Cantrell

Good reliable Indian lunch buffet.

Ponniranjan Basker

Best food and price was good even though quantity was less

Rob Lucke

Great food, friendly hosts, good atmosphere.

Mark Bradley

Sad News this Place will be Permanently Closed Forever. This Place will be Apartments.

Ed Drury

Did Sunday Buffet here and it was great. Friendly, nice selection of Northern and Southern Indian food all very good.

G M Parks

Simply great Indian food done right.

Mark DeMay

I've been going there for over 14 years and it's always great. I go for lunch buffet mostly, but i also enjoy ordering from the menu for dinner.

Melissa Claar

Best Indian food we have found in the area. Dine in is never crowded but not recommended. It’s a dive. But take out is great. Food is outstanding.

Sean Patterson

Service sufford a little today.

emma Larson

I was introduced to this place by a friend who lived in India on and off for a few years. She expressed that this is as good as it's going to get to a home cooked meal. A new favorite for me.

Wm Riddle

I'm a sucker for good service and what sets aside Abhiruchi South & North India cuisine is the exceptional service and great food I had. Fair prices, clean establishment and unfortunately a little hard to find unless you're familiar with the area. Look for the Kmart mall off of Murray hill and you have found it. A definite must for Indian food on the west side.

柯哲瀚

Great price with the lunch buffet. A variety of food choose and all of them are delicious.

Heather Sturgill

Wonderful lunch buffet with lots of vegetarian options. Thoughtful staff even check that my four year old had enough options.

Tim Martin

My first experience with Indian food. Wonderful!

surabhi patil

Service is nice.buffet had variety.gulab jamun best

Jomesh Pulinthanath

After 4 years we visited Abhiruchi again as there was only few options for an Indian restaurant on a Monday. It appeared to me the waiter had a tough day and tired. Greeting and seating was not very pleasant. We asked for Aloo paratha and a chicken biriyani. The biriyani tasted reasonably good. It was more like the North Indian style. The paratha was disappointing, apparently they might have used masala dosa masala for paratha filling. It was very unusual to find mustard seeds inside aloo paratha. Overall, an okay place with okay food.

Michael Hein

No way this place gets good marks. The dining room looked clean and that's impressive considering all the plastic flowers everywhere. Plastic plants collect dust but i couldn't see any dust, so that gave me hope. Unfortunately, the sever didn't really know the menu; he didn't know what 3 beers they serve were like. I asked for a darker ale and I got served a lager, pretty much the opposite of an ale, eh? The beer was bottled and tasted fine, then all the food came and he didn't/couldn't explain what everything was. Then again, it was all microwaved goo, so i suppose it wouldn't make much difference. It all had dull colors, mushy, bland. The flavors that they are going for have potential; the spices and dishes could be great. It's sad in here, I want good Indian places around and it is too bad this place isn't one of them.

Karan Briar

Great food for a decent place. They mostly have fresh food that mostly always available

Hiranava das

Bad food. The waiters were rude and awkward in taking orders and serving food. The first time they brought wrong food. The Chicken Biryani was Chicken curry with rice. The goat in goat curry had a bad smell. My advice "DON'T GO". Moreover the place has a shabby appearance

Aarthika Rajen

• chicken pakora they gave left over chicken 65 dipped in bajji mix and gave.. • horrible taste..nothing is fresh.. • we broke the chapathi and ate...so much hard • aalu paratha is like in chapathi batter they added potato masala which we used to eat for poori totaly hate it this is not perfect indian cuisine, foreigner dont come to conclusion that all indian foods will be like this...

Jules R

AMAZING food! Friendly folks. Love this place! :)

mohit arora

Good indian food. Great quantity.

Holly Ng

Pretty good food. Price for buffet reasonable.

HP Wong

The food is great. Just the right level of spiciness. Service is great too. Just wish the portion be a little bigger.. so appetizing.

Kenneth Watkins

Food was amazing. Service was nice and you can't say no to the fresh hot and delicious food. They have variety in both veg and non-veg. Atmosphere, food, service everything was nice I would definitely be coming again. Overall nice experience. Keep up the service like this and I will surely recommend this business to anyone.

Girish Deshpande

Food is good.

Kamal Balasubramanian

Good Indian restaurant. I go there for lunch buffet and some times for dinner as well. Great selection, good service, highly recommend.

zachary clarke

Wow, a flavor and atmosphere that makes you feel as though you've transported strait to India. The Buffet table has quite a few options and each one is fantastic. From the goat to the mango pudding, this place takes the Win as far as Buffets go.

Ankur Behere

Food order didn't match what was requested either in heat level or in description. Food was too oily for spices taste to come through. Waiter did not stop to ask how the food was.

Pam Cagle

Love their food and variety as well. I used to go every few weeks when I lived in Aloha. I've been to the one in Vancouver a few times. I absolutely prefer the Beaverton location. Better selection. And I'm going today for lunch buffet woooohoooo. And by far the best Indian food I've found

Laura Isaacson

Love this place! It’s my go to take out spot. Pema (one the folks who works there) is the absolute best! He is always smiling and super helpful.

Ginger Steele

Best Indian food in Portland.

Jeff Crowl

Great food. Terrible chai.

Conor Warren

UPDATE: Quality of food has rapidly gone down hill since they moved to the new location. RAPIDLY. Using poor spices, not enough spices, even the raita was awful. The last straw that caused me to update this was spending the afternoon throwing up a few hours after consuming food from here. If the food was good flavorwise, I'd call it a wash, but terrible food and food poisoning is unacceptable. Complete waste of money. I'd get a refund if I could.

Sarah Moon

This is my favorite Indian buffet place in Beaverton. The food never disappoints there is always a good selection for carnivores and vegetarians. Saag paneer will always have my heart. And try their salt lassi it is a good healthy treat.

K

Love the saag paneer and chicken vindaloo.

Robert Clark

The food tasted ok, but not amazing. I did appreciate that there were a few unique options that I've never seen before, including a very spicy battered & fried chili pepper and a milky carrot dessert that was tasty.

John Fowler

The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. Pretty much just average. The one star is given for CLEANLINESS! While visiting this establishment, I witnessed (among several other health code violations) a server cleaning a table with the last bits of a previous customer's water glass. Dusty, dingy, and very limited selection for a buffet. Save your time, money, and possibly health by going elsewhere.

Emily Hill

The buffet is a great deal for lunch! Delicious and comes with a soft drink and all you can eat! Yum!

Aiko Shemali

I usually love going to Swagat for Indian buffet, however a bad experience with a waitress there made me search for a new Indian restaurant buffet close by. We went to Abhiruchi and we were surprised at the variety of dishes. There are so many different, unfamiliar dishes so you will be able to try something new. The restaurant itself looks straight out of the 70's/80's with fake plants and wood panelling and green walls and brown carpet, but that kind of added to the charm. The food itself was honestly not the best Indian I've had. They didn't have butter chicken but something else kind of similar. The tandoori was not burnt enough (there were no burnt parts on it which I come to expect of tandoori chicken) but otherwise everything was alright. However I felt the foods were a little heavily spiced (not heat wise, but with different spices) as I bit into multiple full spice pieces in my meal that gave forth a burst of intense flavour and that was unpleasant... :( There were also a lot of bone shards in the chicken curry which was not great but otherwise I was alright with everything else. Overall marginal but definitely passable, but for 13 dollars + gratuity I would have rather gone to Swagat.

Cory Gibbs

Great food. The tandoori chicken isnt as tender as I'm used to but it was good

Jill Tate

I seriously love this place. I can only vouch for their vegetarian food but I always love everything on the buffet.

Travis Diskin

Low-key, standard Indian Cuisine. Great flavors to be found here.

Lupo Grigio

THE best indian restaurant on the west side of portland. Go there for the food, not the decor.

keith Aduri

Stailed biryani and thanduri, never go this place.

Rick Duff

I went there while in town visiting friends, and this is hands down the best Indian food I have ever had. Very authentic and very fun, the owner even came around and showed me how to properly enjoy the food. It was a great experience.

RAHUL PATIL

Good food. Service was also good. Loved the chicken and egg biryani!

C. H.

Great Indian lunch buffet! The mango fruit salad is fantastic!

Scott Matley

Not very spicy but good food.

Guianella Teran

Delicious Indian food!

Zatarazie

It is now closed but they are moving to a new location

Blain

I'm sad to see all of the one-star reviews for this fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic, though not as spicy as I'm used to seeing from curry. Options are plentiful, and are replenished often, meaning there's never a lack of options. The drinks are included, and they're one of the few restaurants in town to proudly serve RC cola. The lighting is largely natural, with huge windows on two sides, and there are plenty of tables, with tons of space to bring an entire work group. The menus are imbedded in the tables, meaning you're never without a menu, and the staff is friendly. All together, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in the Portland Metro. The lack of a fifth star is for the lack of an accessible facade. The door is very narrow, so power chairs or even wider wheelchairs may not be able to access it. Though standard width chairs should fit fine.

Damon Omrany

Real Indian food's there Love their Goobi manchori

Nik Schonstal

This is the place to go for lunch. The Buffet has a large variety of exelant well made food and a great deal for the buck. The service is just ok

Savannah Garcia

I love this place they have a great bakery and a great menu in there restaurant. Also they have a huge selection of incense you cant find most places my favorite is the Black Champa

R Snow

Food is good. The garlic Nan is very good. But the chicken tandoori was not my favorite. It could be better.

Christopher Vaughn

Amazing food at a great price! And our meals came with rice and Naan bread. Best Indian near Beaverton!

Sushmita Poddar

Food was stale at 7:30 pm on a Saturday evening. Stuff that should be fresh is made in advance and refrigerated.

shrinidhi Kulkarni

One of the best Indian restaurant in Beaverton area. Buffet offers variety of food. I have found unique taste and nice food.

Tilahun Tem

I am Delivery driver and I got some Offers to this restaurant but They are toooooo late. Oh They are too late .........arround 30 minutes late from the pickup time

Mary Huff

Like this place, buffet so quick in and out at lunch. Good Indian food. Lots of GF choices. Reasonably priced. Went there all the time when I worked on the westside.

Larkin Miers

Great lunch buffet with many options that tend to rotate so I'm not stuck with the same options every time I go. The staff are friendly and the price is reasonable.

Chuck Wiley

The food selection and quality are very good for the price point, at maybe $15-20 per person. Went with friends outside of normal rush times. At about 1/2 the tables occupied, the table service remained top notch. The decor is a bit dated, but if that doesn't bother you and you want good food at a reasonable price, give it a try.

Leslie-Ann De Leon

Soooooo soooo good! The saag, the korma, the naan, the aloo, the channa...its all good. I wasn’t a fan of the biryani but the rest was so good that it didn’t matter. Going for dessert now....stretchy pants in full effect!

menardactor

Great food and friendly staff. Take out is well done and not too long to wait. Restaurant appears clean. We've only done dinner so I can't rate on lunch.

Bill Fox

First time and really enjoyed our meal. Great flavor. Nice spice. Clean and bright. Reasonable prices. Will certainly be back as a regular.

Desi Slayer

Its not a halal join but theyre veggie pakoray were good!!

Kanchana Vidya

This review is for lunch buffet - they are not friendly, replenish what they want to eat and stop replenishing an hour before close many days...very unreliable food quality as well. Sometimes, if you're lucky, it's amazing. Other times, you might feel sick from having such old, burnt from having the buffet heat too dry food....

Stasia Nickerson

Service is different but not bad. They serve a regular appetizer but its not for everyone. I like it. Its a great place for people that have an adventurous taste. If you want a basic Americanized food, then this is a no. I love the food. The service is not American service. So if you expect a lot of attention, they don't do it. But they aren't rude . they will answer any question. And I love the food they make.

Cameron Patrone

Its a buffet, but you're coming here for one dish. I think it's the butter chicken? Just eat that. The rest is good, but trust me, just eat that.

Smitha T.K

Good place, have many options for vegetarians.

Ian Lomax

Good food, better selection than most buffets. Super friendly service, nice decor. They only charged half price for our 5 year old.

Mani Deepika

It's says "South and North" indian but It's " NOT Indian". Lunch buffet did not have many vegetarian options. Samosas and pakodas were half fried. Dal had no spice and it was half cooked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Kayla Gould

Got take-out. The food was decent. What they call mild is a little spicier than I'd like. It was $60 for 4 items and 2 lassi where it would be about $40 at my usual place.

Karl Icho

Our meal was freshly prepared and delicious! Highly recommwnd!

Jeanie Pearson

Delicious food. Price was okay.

Dustin Brady

The chicken makhani is phenomenal. I have been coming here for 15 years and everything I've ever tried on the menu is great. I highly recommend abiruchi

Manju Sree

Quality of food with timing is good.

Dok Vance

Not the absolute best Indian restaurant in town, but still an absolutely amazing place. The lunch buffet is incredible. Particularly for the price. Try the orange cream soda. I've never had anything like it anywhere else.

CJ P

Lunch & dinner are very similar meals except for the price. Lunch is a much better value. I prefer Abhiruchi’s menu to that of Swagat. I’d give these guys 5 stars if they cleaned up the restaurant & updated things a bit. Probably more authentic the way it is though.

Zack Davis

The buffet recently increased in price by a dollar. Still worth it. Such delicious food. Definitely worth visiting regularly.

Randi Fisher

Though the food was delicious the service was very indifferent. We asked for a pitcher of water, never got it and I had to fill our water glasses twice. Asked for a box to go for left overs I finally went and got it. Took a long time to get our check.

allie komarek

Im VERY picky about Indian restaurants, but I highly recommend this one, as well as India Oven, India House, and as far as food trucks in Portland go, A Taste of India is also really good

Corwin Brence

Affordable and delicious Indian cuisine that isn't overly spicy, even where peppers are involved, and some of the best kheer I've ever had. The chicken tandoori comes highly recommended. Buffet options are inexpensive and plentiful, dessert is amazing, and even the drinks are not expensive. Pretty much the only complaint I could have is that the front door is not very wide, which may pose problems with large groups, strollers, or most wheelchairs.

Viswanadh Kanuri

Ordered eggplant pakora and they gave me the mix of eggplant, potato and onion pakora. After I took one eggplant bajji and asked them if it was all eggplant, they said oops it was for another table and took it to them, even though I touched the plate. Aloo paratha was bland.

Paphigleo

Delicious and affordable with a wide variety of tastes and flavors to try! Fresh made popadom! Everything was fresh and so very good!

Whitney Gassaway

We had dinner here this evening and we were pretty disappointed about our overall experience. We ordered two things to share, one of which was a cold item (yogurt salad). We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Normally I wouldn't care about that kind of wait but there was literally 2 other tables in the whole restaurant. We got our rice to go with our masala first. 5 minutes later we got the masala. Our naan bread hadn't arrived but we were so hungry we ate without it. It finally came 10 minutes later and then our salad came. Our server had a smile on his face and seemed cheerful but never asked about how our food was, I'd suspect because he already knew we were unhappy with how we got our food. We weren't asked if we wanted anything besides water to drink when we sat down or if we wanted dessert after our dinner. I'd like to give this place another shot because I've heard great things about their lunch buffet but I'm cringing at the idea of going back.

Caleb Paulson

This place has really really really good food, but it is a wee bit overpriced.

Michael Zocchi

Probably my wife and my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Excellent food. Very good vegetable or lamb samosa. We especially love the naan and I like the large variety in the menu as I can try something new every time.

Scott Landia

Very nice menu and lots to eat. Came here for lunch and could barely finish my meal. Their mango dessert pudding is slamming amazing; I couldn't get enough!

jon k

Excellent and authentic Indian food. They have more selection during their lunch buffet than some other Indian restaurants the area.

Howard Fan

This is a great Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a bit hard to find though, I got lost twice before I finally found it, even using GPS.

Troy Bretzman

The best Indian food I have had in Oregon is hands down Abhirachi ! The gentleman that took care of me was very kind and treated me like I was their only customer . I was very impressed by their presentation of food and especially the taste ! Their lamb is off the charts ! Definitely go here for Indian cuisine that caters to both the south and north!

Darth Cloaked Guy

I've eaten here multiple times, and every time I have found the food to be exceptional. Would certainly be better if I were able to handle spicier foods, but that's my failing, not the vendor's. I love coming here whenever I get the opportunity. My favorite is the curry poured over white rice.

Shasta Sevcik

Really delicious food and very welcoming staff!

Simon Johnson

We love this place. The lamb biriyani is very spicy!

Notto Jensen

I've driven by this place at least 500 times and finally had dinner there. Really a great experience. They treated us well, gave us some great recommendations, and then served us our food, telling us about each dish, making sure we didn't order something we might not like. Loved all the flavors and variety. Desserts were small, but very good.

Jason Bridger

Gave us the wrong thing. Expensive for low quality food

prathap kumar valsan

After reading lots of good reviews, we went there today for lunch buffet. I am not impressed and may not visit again.Firstly the number of dishes for the price $13 were few. The presentation was poor. Dishes did reflect a sloppy effort. There wasn't a single dish which I wanted to try again. It would be an okay buffet, but when comparing to other Indian restaurants around, not worth the money and time spent.

shawn thompson

2nd fav spot for biryani...

Raajit Lall

Tofu instead of paneer is a sin

Jeanette Petersen

Good food but this place completely lacks atmosphere

Robert Zahrowski

Great food. Lunch. Is. The best buffee. One of my favorite places .

Benjamin Drucker

So good. My favorite Indian place in town. The buffet (which is the only thing I've ever gotten here) is large and varied. They always have pickels, which I appreciate. There is a good vegetarian selection.

Bela Mhasavade

Good service, good food, ambience is okay. We had kofta curry and it was good

Sangeetha Dakshinamoorthy

I wish I could give 0 stars. This is literally the worst Indian food I have EVER eaten. We ordered chicken 65 and out came something that looked like chicken and definitely reheated in the microwave, it was inedible. The biryani we ordered was worse. I couldn't understand how the cook sent that food out. Do they taste their food? None of the food was fresh. We ordered idlies for our baby and out came two rock hard disks which were freshly microwaved for us. And the pooris were bitter probably because of rancid oil In short, please don't go. The ratings on here are very misleading. They cannot be true!

Maitrik Patel

Good food at good price. Liked the thali idea, innovative!

David Baird

This place has an outstanding buffet for lunch during the week. Many tasty dishes and a great staff.

Eric Moody

Affordable and good food. Friendly staff. Usually not packed. Unfortunate location, but once you're inside it's fine. They now deliver through GrubHub.

Meg Craig

Without a doubt the best Indian food in the Portland area

Carlos Hanson

I tried the new online ordering today. The only problem was enduring the delightful smell of their tasty meals during the drive home.

Boyd Anderson

A great place for Authentic Indian food in Beaverton. The lunch buffet offers a wide selection...something for everyone. Been eating here for years and it's always yummy.

Alexis Ménard

Great place for the value. Lunch buffet all you can eat with drinks included. Price is accessible.

Phyllis Fort

It took 15 minutes of being there before we got a menu.

Robert R

Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful food, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, decent prices. I am absolutely going back again and again

Kathy Goodin

Delicious food. The smells of curry and jasmine rice are intoxicating. Highly recommend it. You'll thank me!!

Grilled Soup

Friendly staff, food is always hot and fresh tasting, they have cream orange soda on tap! My favorite indian buffet at a decent price

sharmistha dutta

Wish could have given this place a negative rating. I tried the $9.95 lunch buffet, though they had many items none of them were any where close to what is authentic in taste. and they were out of many items in the buffet with in half hour of the buffet start. The manager was non-apologetic about it and argued that its the best he can do for the buffet. I will never go there again nor recommend it to any one.

Brent Jacobs

Outstanding food and service. This is the authentic Indian place you've been searching for. Indian cooks, Indian hosts, and Indian customers. Absolutely wonderful, I can't wait to go back.

Jennifer Klump

Good Indian food great service

Emily Nieves

I went to Abhiruchi for an inexpensive lunch buffet, and it delivered! You're not going there for the ambience or atmosphere. It's nothing fancy! But the food is good and there is quite the variety! Plenty of meatless options as well if that's a concern for you! Would definitely go back!

Michelle Bartle

Our favorite restaurant, impeccable! We have been frequent customers for a few years now! Never disappoints! Amazing food top-notch, friendly staff!

Hariharan Subramanian

One if the oldest Indian eatery in Portland area. It's not a posh looking restaurant. The guy serving us was slamming plates and cups in the background. But the food was amazing. So good that I'm not inclined to reduce stars. Mutter paneer was so flavorful. South Indian entrees are also authentic.

Gabriel Labovitz

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is wonderful. The buffet is of great value. Great service. Super friendly : ) We also love the variety.

Anil Viswanadha

Okay place for veg Indian food. No idea of the non veg items, but my friends like it.

Rudolfo Grease

Unbelievable food. I have been in so many Indian food places for years and years. By far this is the best one I found here in Portland. The cook is the owner since day 1 and he takes pride of what he serves. If you like the Indian food, American taste with the authentic kick, this is the one!

Lincoln Asl

The staff is so lovely here & quite helpful. The food is comforting & delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Nora Gillion

I've been wanting to come to this restaurant for sometime now and finally had the opportunity. I'm really impressed with their Buffet and freshness of there dishes. They had a lot to offer in what favorite dishes that I love to eat! But some spicy dishes that were alittle over powering for my palate. But very good! So if you love India food with a kick

Alex Wilson

If i could i would give a negative star. First of all food poisoning second of all worst tasting Indian food ever. I tasted like all the chicken came straight from the the chickens rotting anus. the curry sauce was bland and when I took a bite out of one of them something popped and tasted rotten. Never go here you will regret it fully. I hope this place gets closed down.

S Kumar

Love the chili chicken and other buffet options. Parking is easy and ventilation is good so your clothes don't completely reek of saturated spices after you leave...thats,a good thing!

Kristen Bedell

This is some of the best Indian cuisine I've had in the area! Super friendly staff and a comfortable environment. I'd highly recommend Abhiruchi if you're looking for tasty authentic food. I'm an especially big fan of the Garlic Nan and Chicken Makhani.

Christopher de Guzman

Great family owned restaurant. The buffet is well worth it.

Andrew Thorry

Closed on Monday. Please update the listing online and I will come in and eat then leave a better review.

Tyanna Ladd

Food was amazing. Service was great as usual. I used to frequent this place once a week when I worked around the corner, but it's been a good 7 yrs since I last ate here and I'm so glad I came back today.
