lovely little grill with varying degrees of upscale food and a mellow atmosphere, making the experience very accessible. the outside patio offers stunning views of the Columbia River, and is perfect for summer dining. i was looking to eat light, so i ordered the roasted beet salad, which looked like a piece of art and tasted fantastic. my partner had the fish tacos, which were flavorful and filling.

Very friendly staff, and very accommodating! We sat on the dog friendly porch over-looking the river. Beautiful views!!! They brought us a dog water bowl, and the umbrellas kept us in the shade. We will definitely go again when we are in the area!

Not as to my general type of fine lunches, edible.... yes. expensive? Yes.... worth it? Nope. The best part of this experience would be the older remodled home it currently operates out of. Very classy inside and out. Friendly accommodating staff. Those are are the opinions of a good many locals as well as my conclusions.

The food was great, the service was great, and the view is pretty darn good. Prices were fair as well. I just felt like there was something missing. Perhaps it was the lack of atmosphere? I visited during lunch, and it was very empty. Felt uncomfortable in that way, but it could just be me.

Great restaurant with a GREAT view of the river. First off the menu choices were very limited and not that much to pick from, but overall the food was great! Also the waitresses are very nice and helpful. But I highly recommend this restaurant if your looking for a great food with a amazing view and great waitresses.

Love this restaurant. It’s got the best view in town. Really nice servers. Food is delicious and pricy. Nice bar. Parking isn’t easy because of very steep hill. Outdoor patio is fantastic spot.

The setting and view are beautiful. The service was friendly and pleasant. The food is very average with an emphasis on pleasing an older clientele- insert ' rice pilaf, seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes' The menu is unimaginative and dull. I'd rather have local, fresh and interesting food without the view than be lured into this spot, any night of the week.

Great food and service. If you want a good steak this is your place. Fabulous bar drinks. Outside seating with amazing views. Parking is not easy as it is steep. Might be easier to park at the top of street and walk down the hill. Worth every step. Recommend reservations for dinner.

Poor service and not so good food. Our waiter thought they didn't need to write down our order...well we were served things we did not request. Also we asked if ingredients could be left out of the main entree, they were used and now my girlfriend is nauseated on the toilet for her 30th birthday. The hazelnut chicken was covered in a thick orange sauce that didn't sit right....I'm glad our airbnb has two bathrooms because we are using them at the same time...I don't mean to be out of line but it truly was a waste of money. The wine and bread were excellent.

Was not crowded on a Tuesday. Nice outdoor seating. Wait staff was good. We just had appetizers and a salad which were all good. The beer selection is limited, but good craft beers. I would go again.

Excellent quality food and drink in a quiet, clean setting with extraordinary views of the Columbia River. Great service and friendly staff. Outdoor seating available in the warmer months. Has a full bar, local draft beer and wine and 2 for 1 entrees special on Wednesday nights in the winter. Also has a private upstairs with seating for 20 or so to host private events.

I had the Cajun seafood stew on pasta, huge serving but not so much that I couldn't eat dessert too! Delicious chocolate gateau thing... Delicious again and very gracious as well

Why go down by the river and wait forever when you can come here. It is high up so still has fantastic view and a nice outdoor patio. Food was excellent. I got the Pacific Steelhead which was great. Awesome place for Gluten free and/or Siliacs. Very mindful of cross contamination!! My boys got the lamb shank and loved it. Daughter had gluten free pasta and loved it and other daughter has grilled chicken croissant and loved it. Highly recommend.

We have been going to the 3 Rivers grill for years and have always enjoy their food and service.... However this time was the exception, very little rapport with staff, waitress although friendly was on a different tempo then us, which made the communication rushed, bead service after dinner arrived, beef medallions served tuff and well done rather than medium and mashed potatoes which are generally my favorite luke warm at best. Not the quality we were expecting and not reflective of the price....maybe just an off night!

We used to love eating here. Great service, good food, etc... this last visit we are outside and we're greeted with a horrendous stench of propane gas. Both my table and the table next to us complained but were told that it was necessary for their heater. We then waited far too long for our food (30+ minutes, maybe?). Once we received our food we were utterly unimpressed with the lack of flavor. To top things off we also discovered a piece of plastic in our fish tacos. Again, his place used to be amazing, but unfortunately do to our recent experience we will be taking our business elsewhere. Edit: Due to the plastic in the tacos we were offered a free dessert. We decided to order the cheesecake, which tasted like freezer burn.

This is an absolute GEM! The service is top notch and their Filet Mignon is the best ever! It has a wonderful taste to it (It has to be Grass fed) and is so tender! We live in Vancouver, WA and have been there twice for dinner (our most recent visit was yesterday!), This is definitely now one of our favorite haunts when we are out that way. In fact, when we planned our day trip up to Mt Hood yesterday, we specifically came home through Hood River just so we could stop at 3 Rivers Grill for dinner. Comfortable atmosphere, fantastic views, great service and of course, AMAZING CUISINE! Highly recommended.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location with a beautiful view of the Columbia River. We sat outside on the large deck and it was fantastic. Food was very nicely prepared. I had their veggie burger which was good but not well seasoned. Its taste was similar to refried beans on a bun. My wife had a very nice salad which was excellent. Service was very good. Based on the other people being served the other food selections were very good. We will definitely be returning.

We booked for group reservations at 3 Rivers Grill. We were looking to holding our event at their restaurant's banquet dining area but unfortunately we had to post pone as of the moment due to a situation with our invitations (not the restaurant's fault at all). However, my experience with them during the planning stage is worth the review. Talked to Jim, their manager, was very pleasant to work with and every time I talk to any of their staff, they've always been polite and courteous. Planning was made very easy. They know exactly what we needed. Provided all info I've requested efficiently (didn't have to wait for years to get answers to any of my questions). Everything was made easy for us. In the future, given the chance, I would still go back to 3 Rivers Grill and I'd recommend this place to any one who is planning on doing any special events and reservations.

Great food, if you don't want to eat any time soon. It took my wife and I over 45 minutes to get a single sandwich, after a 10+ minute wait just to get waters. The waiter only even appeared on the patio once every 10-15 minutes. We didn't bother waiting to see how long it would take to pay with a card. We put cash in the table and left.

3 Rivers Grill is a gem. I'm so glad we decided to stop there for dinner. Wesley, our server, was great. He was welcoming, gave great recommendations, was kind, polite, and fun. The atmosphere was romantic and comfortable. The view is stellar, and lastly the food was not over priced and tasted superb. I had the lamb, and my date had the Cajun chicken and andoulli pasta. Both were so good. And the desert was tasty.

!!!DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The service was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The food however, was poor. When i spend $35 on a filet mignon, i don't expect it to be bland. I expect a steak that i can't make at home, i can make a bland fillet at home for $10. The don't get lamb very often, and I was looking forward to the lamb shank. The whole meal, including vegetables, was doused in a sauce that tasted like barbeque sauce mixed with cheap red wine. The lamb shank was chewy. The meal looked like lamb shank stew. Twenty years in the navy, and EVERY meal I've had onboard ship was better than this, including taco Tuesday after 5 months at sea.
