Carl is my favorite server their. Often times if I'm discouraged by the food I always seem to make it back because of him. The Cobb salad is consistently good as it should be for $15. Everything else seems to be hit-and-miss depending on who's cooking the food. It's still the nicest restaurant within Lebanon. I enjoy the atmosphere and the landscape which adds to the overall enjoyment. Steak and pasta prices are way cheaper here than if you were to go to a nice place in Salem or Portland but you know what they say. You get what you pay for.

Party of 8 on a Friday night at 6 pm. All was fine until we received our food over 1 hour after ordering. The children's dishes took 45 minutes. Not impressed!!!

I would give them a 5 if they would get some good bread. Good baguettes make a huge difference. The bread they currently serve with dinner is awful. I've submitted suggestions about this issue, but they don't respond.

We came here for our second anniversary. The staff was wonderful -- attentive and friendly, and more than willing to explain the menu. Our server was above and beyond: patient with us, carefully watching to see when we were ready to move from apps to the main course, and making sure that we never had to wait longer than expected for anything we ordered. The food was great -- we had the sugarcane skewered shrimp to start, and it was fantastic. My partner opted for pasta, and I had the schnitzel -- both were delicious! Our drinks were also fantastic. The bar and the kitchen are both on point, the service was great, and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of what you get. The setting is lovely, and I highly recommend sitting on the patio if the option is available. All in all, we will definitely be back, and we'll be bringing friends next time!

We just ate there for our second time tonight. The service is beyond amazing! I wasn't the happiest with the chicken fettuccine(on the greasy side) but the waiter removed the item from our bill and subed us another item without hesitation. We will definitely be going back again in the near future. Oh and their prime rib is delicious.

My wife and I love going here. Excellent food, drink, and atmosphere. Service has been great The waitstaff are knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu and has never failed to recommend an entrée we did not like.

My wife and I live a block away, and have lived in the house over a year, and hadnt came here. We finally got a night without the kids, and decided to try it. Man are we glad we finally tried it! I had one of the best Prime rib dinners I've ever had, and my wife had an amazing Chicken marsala. We paired our dinner with the great selection of local wine, and I had the Huck Cinn. The servers were very attentive, but not so attentive that they become annoying. The dining area was comfortable but not so comfy that it was unclassy.

Nice atmosphere. Service can be slow but that's hit or miss. Food is good but slightly overpriced for Lebanon. We've had some wonderful dinners here and a couple that left us scratching our heads. Drink menu is great and they have some great beers on tap too. Overall I would recommend.

Slow service and an even slower kitchen (except for appetizers). Appetizers tasted great, but main meals came out luke warm to cold. Food had been hot at one point as the cheese on the burger was clearly melted. Will not return.

One of the best local places to get high quality food. Every time we go, the service is amazing, there is always a good beer or two on tap and the food is spectacular. If they have scallops on the menu, get them! They are the best I have had inland to date. Their steaks are also cooked marvelously. I highly, highly recommend 1847 whenever asked. It is one of my husband and I's favorite local places to have a date night.

The ambience and wait staff are great. Of our 4 adult orders, 2 were cooked how the other was supposed to be (med rare vs med well), and that was after a very long wait. We therefore weren’t eating at the same time. The minimal menu is definitely not worth the highly prices! Get a new chef.

Lovely setting, relaxed and upscale ambiance. Good, attentive service from above average staff. One of the nicest, tastiest Caesar salads I have had in ages. Salmon dinner was prepared perfectly (juicy and flavorful), as was the Prime Rib. Marion berry cheesecake was delicious. My only criticism is that the sourdough bread (served with olive oil and vinegar) was cold and dry. If it had been served warm and slightly fresher, the meal would have been perfection. We will definitely be back.

Thank God for 1847, I've visited this beautiful restaurant several times since it opened. It is located inside a lovely hotel and there is a romantic Japanese garden to walk through after dinner. The salmon is wonderful, the drinks are stellar, and the staff is off the hook. Service is top notch. Thanks guys!

Last night my husband took me to dinner @ 1847 for my birthday. He ordered baby back ribs, and I had the lamb. Both of our meals were very delicious. Our waitress, Emma, had overheard us talking about it being my birthday. At the end of our meal, she brought me a piece of mouthwatering chocolate cake on the house. I highly recommend that you experience 1847 for yourselves. You won't regret it!!

We were so looking forward to having our Christmas dinner as the food was do good last year. Maybe they have a new chef? My husband and I had the Prime Rib and our friends ordered the ham dinner. They all came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Both were nearly cold on all four plates. Our prime rib was less than luke warm. We are very disappointed and will look for a different restaurant next year. The atmosphere is beautiful but we also wanted good food.

We had drinks and desert on date night. The atmosphere was perfect for a classy night out. The bartender was friendly and timely. The drinks were great and the dessert was delicious. I'm excited to come back during warmer weather because their patio has a pond and fountain feature.

Me and my moms favorite place to go in Lebanon. Peaceful environment with beautiful gardens for a nice walk before or after eating. I give the manager JENNIFER ten gold stars for personally delivering a fresh burger to my house on her way home from work after I called in about my burger not being right that I brought home to my husband and she also gave me a free entree coupon! My interaction with her was quite possibly the best customer service I have ever had.

As a rule I try to avoid motel restaurants. The Best Western here is more of a convention center so my rule was broken after several people recommended it. This is the best restaurant I've been to in Lebanon and a bit of a surprise to find it there. I've had the prime rib several times and have never been disappointed. I've only made it to dessert once but it was good. The wine list is good but not great for wine by the glass. The beer selection is a little limited but acceptable.

The waitress was great, she was attentive and friendly. She was joking with our group and made our visit that much more enjoyable. The menu is not extensive so you won't be overwhelmed by options. I got the bacon onion burger which was delicious with a light spread of their in house smokey ketchup. (If you enjoy smokey flavor, definitely give the smokey ketchup a try!) My husband had the prime rib, which he said was a "decent cut of prime rib".
