Great service, and awesome food. I wasn't expecting much from a place that has mainly melt sandwiches, but wow. Flavorful cheeses and fresh ingredients! I even let our waitress select a cocktail for me, and I definitely was not disappointed. Oh, and the FRIES. Perfectly cooked. Be sure to add cheese!

Family-friendly environment with amazing food. Best cheese curds I've ever had! Everything came out pretty quickly and all the employees were very welcoming. I stopped by here to get a drink and the bartender (Cruise) was so fabulous! He first made me a delicious drink and then took the time to tell me all the places to visit in OKC. I felt so welcome! If you want warm, comforting food....go here!! The best sandwiches ever! The selection of sandwiches is great. I always get their tomato soup as a side. It is delicious!

They have really good sandwiches and their Beet salad is amazing. I don't even like beets but I liked them in this. My daughter is a picky eater and was dubious of the Mac and cheese but when she ate it, she decided it was really good. We also liked their messy grilled cheese. We called it messy because it was overflowing with cheese.

Theres no better place to get a specialty grilled cheese. They even have a vegan option. I love their herbavor. Their classic with tomato soup is also really good. The Mule has a large craft beer selection. They are located in the Plaza and are near great shops, bars and the Plaza Walls.

I do not often go to The Mule, simply because my experiences have not been great. The food is often really heavy and greasy. I have had bad drinks here and also amazing drinks! When people suggest The Mule, I suggest any one of the other places that are close nearby instead.

The Mule is a great OKC original! Don't come here if you are on a diet. The Okie Poutine is to die for, and the Chupacabra sandwich has just the right mix of flavors, textures, and the perfect amount of spiciness. The employees are always super helpful and friendly. Overall, one of the best places to eat in Oklahoma City.

Went with very high expectations, the food I saw on the menu looked amazing. The creativity in the food they offer is great - putting Mac and cheese in a sandwich or nachos? Genius. I was a bit disappointed in the actual food though...tried both the mac-chachos and the pulled pork Mac and cheese sandwich and the best way I could describe the flavors is watered-down. There wasn't much cheesiness there and the pulled pork had a good consistency but didn't have much flavor to it either. The service was very good and the restaurant has a really cool atmosphere. Overall the food was good but not great but the rest of the experience was good enough I am still going to give this place 5 stars.

If I lived in OKC, this would be a go to bar and restaurant. The atmosphere was fun. Not too crowded, room to move around. The food was great! I had the fancy pants sammie. The drink menu was extensive. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was my brother in law had to order three different beers to find one they had in stock.

All of the food I've ever had here is really good. However, they NEED to get sweet potato fries. It baffles me that they still don't have this as an option. That takes off ~.5 stars for me. The other .5 stars is for the patio outside. I've eaten on the patio multiple times, and every time you are swarmed with flies. It becomes nearly impossible to eat your food and difficult to enjoy your meal when you have flies stuck in your salad :/

Oh my!! So so yummy!! We ordered a side of fries "for our baby" while we waited and um, we ate them ALL and ordered MORE!! THE onion rings were fabulous too! Hubby had corn bread brisket sandwich! A friend took me to the Mule for lunch yesterday. I had the grilled cheese with bacon and bleu cheese added and onion rings. Sandwich was fantastic. Great place to grab a beer and some lunch. Great mix of people - younger, older, families. Would definitely return! Stopped here while exploring OKC for a few days when I heard about their sandwiches... they make fantastic grilled cheeses. I tried the Macaroni Pony, which was delicious!!

Great little spot in a hidden part of OKC. First of all, parking. There are 4 spaces out front you don't have to pay for. That's it. So be prepared to pay for parking. Atmosphere is super laid back...good beer selection including 3 rotating taps. I ordered the fancy pants and it was delicious! Fresh ingredients and enough food that I could've just eaten the sandwich. I ordered onion rings per the bartenders recommendation and they were just ok. Way too salty in my opinion. If they knocked the salt back they would have been amazing. Maybe it was just whoever mixed the batter that day. Definitely willing to give them another shot. The poutine looked amazing as well... definitely will try it next time! Overall, a great experience... I'll definitely be going back.

The food here is a little expensive but absolutely wonderful. You won't find anything really like it in OKC. We had a problem with our waitress once but the problem was quickly resolved and the owner was more than helpful. If you're looking for a place to relax and eat good food, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Did not disappoint this visit at all....Great atmosphere, cozy and friendly....Sat at the bar for a quick sandwich and a beer (busy all day and starving)...food good fresh and I love their Herbavore parking can be challenging but honestly I usually do no look long or far...some parking now charging $5 a day or $2 an hour before 5 pm for 1 hr.....Plaza District shops are fun. Worth the slight effort.

This was a great place. We spent a couple of nights in OKC and we decided to check this place out on our first night. It was a chill place. There were young people there and also families with children enjoying the delicious food. The cheese curds were melt in your mouth amazing. I had a party melt with onion rings and my husband had the burger and tomato soup. We both enjoyed our meals and our server Lauren was awesome!! Would recommend this place everytime!!

The price is right and the food is nice! My sandwich was delightfully toasted and was very yummy. I had the Mac and cheese pulled pork sandwich with tomato soup. The jalapeno bread added a very slight kick to the meal. The soup was a little bland, but salt and pepper fixed that right up, plus it was great for doingdi my sandwich in. Finally the staff was very helpful and polite. A very reasonable price point and large portions made this a great visit in my book. As well as some fun food and flavor combinations.

The parking is confusing. I didn't know if I needed to pay or not so I parked down the street. The staff is attentive and nice. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich which was thick and tasty. I did not like the onion rings. The onion rings did not have a flavor and were very greasy. My friend had a sandwich with balsamic vinegar on the outside and portabella mushrooms inside which looked very good and she stated that is was good as was her tomato soup. She also had a mule lemonade with ginger which she stated was refreshing. The prices are reasonable and you do not have to yell to talk with each other. I would go again, but try a different menu item.

I CANNOT say enough about The Mule, particularly the poutine. I’ve been in Montreal and other places across the US trying poutine and The Mule is still by far my favorite. The place is really hip, staff has always been great, and the food will make you come back.

Super good food! The sandwiches are incredible, the cheese curds were amazingly rich, and the grilled cheese croutons on the salad were so good. Service was a bit slow and one of my family's entrées came out a bit behind, but it was in the heat of the lunch rush and the manager was very apologetic about it. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

Oh my goodness, this place has amazing food! We were seated quickly and the service was wonderful. It was a hot summer day and they made sure our waters were full and we got an inside table with AC. We started with the cheese curds and they were hands down some of the best we have had (and we have had a lot). They come with ranch and marinara-genius combo and the batter on the curds is light and crispy. My partner ordered the macaroni pony and loved all of the elements-the mac and cheese was tasty on the sandwich, the pulled pork was juicy and the bbq sauce was really good, the pickles were crisp and added a hint of texture, and the jalapeno cornbread was excellent. My sandwich was the FYDH sans the bacon (yay vegetarian options) and was absolutely freaking delicious! Gooey cheese blend of peroncini cheese and gouda. Spicy sauce added a nice heat but not too spicy. Avocado and perfectly cooked egg sent this one over the top! Fries were also crispy and light with tons of flavor and they were super cool about getting us ranch (no extra charge here) in addition to anything else we might want to dip the fries in. Love love love this place and can't wait to go back! Highly recommend to everyone!

My son and I went (this was our first time) i was not impressed. Atmosphere was great, service was good, I say good because our waitress kept forgetting about us and other waiters filled in. Now food was horrible had horrible acid reflux after gave food to our dog. Would never recommend.

I order a sandwich through Postmates for delivery. Got the sandwiches in and about 90% of the bottom bun was soggy from pickle juice. Preparing to order another sandwich through them and was calling simply to asked for them to prepare it a the way that the bread don’t get soggy. Like make sure there’s no pickle juice all over it which is what it was soggy from. In other words strain your pickle. Rather than the girl apologize for it, she started making excuses and blaming postmates. When I explained to her it didn’t take more than 20 minutes to get my food after ordering it since i am less than a mile from them, when she says it takes him like 15 minutes to prepare it. She still tried making excuses and blaming it on Postmates. i guess that extra 5 minutes was the deal breaker. she definitely earned them this 1 star rating. wish i had gotten her name to post on here for the owners to fire her.

Love the mule. Their sandwiches are so classic. I love the caprese sandwich and the grown up grilled cheese. Onion rings are bomb too. Altogether an amazing place.

FYDH is my go-to. Can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Brunch options are really good as well. They always have good service and even better drinks. Good vegetarian options too

The tomato bisque is exceptional, combined with the grilled cheese you can't ask for a better meal. They have a good selection of craft beers. You will have to pay for parking next The Mule if you don't want to walk.
