They have a good burger, but they are expensive considering fries, onion rings, and the sweet potato fries are frozen. We had a table top of only 5 and the waitress got 2 of our burger mixed up and unfortunately we didn't realize it until the burgers were almost gone. Also the fry portions are random.. again we had a table top of 5 people..4 that ordered fries and no one got an even amount. Most burgers are $10 that includes a (fried frozen potato) and of course your drink is extra.

You don't tell a party to sit wherever they'd like, then tell them if a larger party comes in they'll have to move to a different table. Unacceptable. If you care where your customers sit, seat them or keep your piehole shut if you don't like where they sat... Wanted burger cooked medium, came out med well to well. Not a hint of pink anywhere..... Prices are high for what you get. Now you know what to expect if you decide to come here......

The first time I came here I was very disappointed with the food, but I tried it again thinking maybe I just needed to order something else. This time I ordered a quad juicy lucy and tots. It was good considering what it was, better than the first time but still much like the quality I would expect to get in a truck stop or something similar. I wont say I'll never go back, but it definitely wont be first on my list if I'm thinking of getting a burger.

The food size portions were completely unexpected. It was the best burger I have had in awhile my fíance and I endure ordering the cheese fries I ordered a salad and one of his burgers and he got another side of fries and a hamburger as well. Our eyes were bigger then our stomachs. We had to end up taking home 2 to go boxes. I definitely will be coming back here. Keep up the good work guys

A lot of people seem to love this place so I'm going to guess that they had an off day. However, my first trip didn't leave the best first impression on me. When I pay $11 for a burger I expect them to get it right. I ordered my burger medium and what I instead got was well done, the grilled jalapenos that I added looked like they had been tossed on the grill for two seconds and the burger itself was cold. I was looking forward to the curly fries but they must have been sitting out for quite a while as they were just cold limp strings of potatoes. I went on a Sunday and there were only a couple of tables of people but service wasn't great and it took forever to get our food. I'll probably give it another shot as I think it has lots of potential but it will be a little while.

Great burgers. Gluten free fries. Awesome service. Classic cheeseburger got me. Served open face, sans bun. Every bite delicious. Wish I had one now. Daughter and husband met me here for dinner. It was so fun. I couldn't believe the place was not crowded. We had a great time. Hope we're going back again when I am in town next year. I had never heard of this place until i started uber eating recently and gotten orders from this place. First thing i noticed was the extremely friendly and helpful staff. they had the order ready fast and hot and the customer i delivered to was extremely satisfied with the service and food they called the establishment and complimented. it smelled really good so i decided to order take out for myself and i’m wondering why I hadn’t been here before!! amazing breakfast food for a great price and awesome establishment and staff. also was not expecting the pancake to be bigger than my hand !!

I received cold onion rings (paid $1 extra) ans a stale bun on burger. There was a dead fly on my table. It took a long time (15+ mins for one burger) to get food out. I believe the onion rings were cooked first, hence them being stone cold. The fried pickles came out with my burger, despite being an appetizer. Paid $20 for myself with an appetizer and drink. Overpriced, most burgers here are $11 or more and are tiny. Never received a refill for my drink, then offered a to-go cup after I ask for the check. Classic.

Wish I knew about this spot earlier as it beats Tucker’s Onion Burgers and some other burger joints in OKC! Good service and great burgers. Burgers juicy and not over cooked. Onion rings were pretty good (agree with an earlier post that they could be more crispy) and fries not bad. Love the kid friendly atmosphere. A bit of a “dive” feel to the place, but definitely going back!!!

Super surprised with how good this place is! I've driven by it a hundred times and finally decided to drop by at lunch, and I'm so glad I did. I got the ultimate chicken sandwich which had bacon, pepper jelly, and jalapenos on it. It was greasy (as expected) but the chicken and bacon were so good it didn't matter to me. I got a side of the jalapeno gravy just because I was curious, and I'm still thinking about it. Perfect for fry dipping! The sandwich + fries was $11 + tax which isn't bad for how much food you get. Also, all of the waitresses were super friendly and attentive. Our server wasn't the only one helping us and checking on us. It was a very laid back and friendly vibe that I really appreciate.

We were coming through from South Carolina and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed! Samantha was our server, there was hardly a wait time. The pancakes are so big and tasty for the price. The bacon had a great Smokey cast iron flavor. We had a lot of options (like Denny’s or ihop) But I’m glad we chose here.

My favorite new burger joint! I know they have been around a long time, but we live in Moore so not really in our neck of the woods if you will. Stopped in last Sunday while in Edmond moving a bed......I didn't put my burger down for the full 3.5 minutes it took me to eat it! Juicy, tasty, wonderfulness! So they have Breakfast TOO!!!!???? Presenting incredible burgers, this place is tucked away from main view off of Broadway. This place always has a healthy lunch crowd and it should, it has some of the best burgers and onion rings in town. I'm going to have to try the breakfast sometime as I'm sure it's fantastic.

Excellent Burger. I had the onion burger. The fries could be better. I don't think they are fresh cut, but rather frozen. The location and signage is a bit inaffective. I've driven by this restaurant for 3 years not realizing it was even there. I do look forward to trying their breakfast now that I know that they are there.

This is a great diner for anyone wanting a great breakfast place to regularly visit. Their menu is above standard breakfast fare with some interesting omelet combinations. Their pancakes are well balanced with a nice hint of cinnamon. Their coffee leaves a little to be desired, but the food will distract you from it. The wait staff is extremely friendly and quick on their feet.

What a treat this little hole in the wall is! First, loved our server, Brittany. Sorry if I misspelled your name - you were AWESOME! This joint in Edmond serves up scratch breakfast, lunch and dinner. I know why the Gazette gave it the BEST SANDWICHES 2019 award - because they make the best sandwiches. They may not look like much, but they taste like something big. I had the Juicy Lucy hamburger and fries. It lived up to it's namesake of juicy. Mom had the Cluck and Moo because she couldn't decide between the chicken tenders or a burger (so she got both) plus the best, crispiest onion rings. She had enough to take home for another meal. The unbelievable end to our early lunch was her chocolate shake. Now this is a beaut. Looks as good as it tastes--she didn't actually let me taste it, but I could tell by her face--it was the bomb. We'll definitely go back because we were both slobbering over the gentleman's pancakes across from us.

Get the fried pickles!! They are perfection, with just enough breading and a delicious house ranch. This place is really a gem and the only location that I am aware of. Owned by City Bites sandwich shop, they specialize in burgers. Delicious is what comes to mind. Very filling and tasty burgers comparable to any other specialty burger joint in town. The staff is amazing. Upbeat and very pleasant. And on top of it all this place is military friendly. I highly recommend.

Wait staff and atmosphere was ok but not impressed with the food. My salad lettuce tasted old like it had been in a bag too long and was see through. I told the staff and they were nice to bring me another one just like it minus the chicken I ate off the first one but the lettuce wasn't any better. After that no one came back to our table. They didn't offer anything else so I paid the ticket and tip but I doubt I go back.

Maybe the best local burger joint in the metro. The Edmond location is better than the OKC one, so I definitely recommend that one. The burgers are always hot, fresh and delicious, their fries and onion rings are on point and the breakfast blew me away. Their pancakes are perfect, a little crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside. I can't recommend them enough.

My husband and I enjoy visiting the Cow Calf-Hay during breakfast hours where they serve up some delectable dishes. We enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and have always experienced great food and service. I have recently tried lunch their while venturing about town and their lunch offerings are wonderful as well. I tried a Western Barbecue Burger with Onion Rings with their homemade dipping sauce and it was all great. Most recently I tried the Coo Coo Nest, delightful chicken strips with fries. Again, I was not disappointed. We have tried many of their breakfast dishes and all have been superb. Most, if not all of their omelets, are covered in creamy queso and served up with your favorite breakfast sides. Their pancakes are huge and some of the best I have eaten. Biscuits and gravy are great too. If you drop by, I'm sure you will enjoy!

First time trying breakfast. They would not accept any substitutions for all the carbs they serve with their omelette so I ended up paying $10 for 3 eggs with bacon and cheese. The service was pretty good but it doesn't seem like too much to ask for an extra ingredient in the omelette instead of all the fillers that usually come on the side.

I loved this place. The burgers were great and the milkshake, I could not resist. I came here looking at the reviews stating that it was highly rated and the portions were large. I decided to take a lady friend here as a date (she probably did not consider it as such), and she has told me good experiences about the place. The burgers and fries, though, are not as big as I imagined. I was excited to see that people said large portions, but honestly, it was not large to me. That being said, my lady friend also agreed it was large portions, but she was able to eat all her food. She's also quite tiny. The food was great though. I'll be coming back plenty of times after this experience.

I heard a lot about this place prior to trying it out. It was a pretty good burger and good fries. In my opinion, I did feel like this place was a little overhyped. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cool, especially the cow skin seats (fake cow skin, don't worry animal lovers). The food was tasty and the prices weren't too bad, I think I just had high expectations going into the meal and The Cow Calf-Hay wasn't quite there for me. Definitely, give this place a try if you are in the area as it is cool and it's always good to support local business.

The very first time I came here it was great. No problems the manager took care of us and it was all perfect, they even got the cook on my burger right. But, I have been back 3 times since and havent had the best experiences. Each time I've come in my burger is overdone and dry. To the point where it's gross to eat and I have to drown it in ketchup or something just to eat it. My order is always missing stuff, like when I ask for something to be on the side its never there. When I get home with a Togo order and half of my fries are missing. This happened one time and I didnt worry about it but causally mentioned it the next time I came in and they told me to call next time theres a problem. So this brings me to today when I got home with my Togo order and I had stuff missing from my order. The same exact stuff that was missing from my previous order infact. So I called in and told them that this stuff was missing just like they told me to 30 minutes prior to this. But the woman that I spoke with Katie (spelling might be different) proceeded to argue with me that they made sure everything was in there and I must have just over looked it, even though I had already had everything dished out and found that I didnt have it. This arguing went on for several more minutes as she still insisted it was in there, I told her that I could pack everything back up bring it back and get my money back to which she said "hold on" and put the phone down to talk to someone and when she came back she asked if I wanted them to refund it and I told her that I just wanted it to be made right. So she told me that she would make note of it and that was that. Also one of my burgers had old brown lettuce on it and had something spicy on it that was never on it before, and I ended up touching my eye without realizing it. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the service I have received here and most likely will not be returning back in near future.

A neat litte cafe tucked into a shopping center. Friendly staff and good service. The onion rings were good and it was nice the burger was fresh and not a frozenand not pre made. However not a lot of flavor, for the price I have definitely had better burgers.

Staff is great but the prices aren't in line with the menu. Shakes are $4.00 and tiny. More like a dessert with a cookie inserted and sprinkles on the edge. $10.00 for a hamburger with mayo and lettuce. Hamburgers are good size but if you don't like lots of extras on your hamburger or enjoy tiny shakes, go somewhere else.

This is a diner-type restaurant. Our waitress always made sure our water glasses were full. The burgers are delicious. It is definitely worth stopping in for. I highly recommend it.
