This place is small restaurant on the side of the road, kinda part of a gas station in Luther Oklahoma. It is set next to a beautiful pecan orchard. Wile it may not look like much from the road, the chicken shack will definitely surprise you. The food here is amazing, I can't say I have had better fried chicken anywhere else. The service was great, even when they were packed. They had live music as well, which was great. I can't recommend this place enough for fans of fried chicken.

Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed the food! The broasted chicken was so tender and juicy with a nice crispy coating. Okra and potato wedges were a big hit too.

If you are a delicate flower and don't like the heat this probably isn't for you. The food was AMAZING and the people were very nice and helpful. We sat outside where we could get a breeze and just enjoyed mother nature. Don't let the size fool you they have a screened in area with several big table and a huge area outside with more tables, a bar, cornhole and once it gets colder for pits. Great hangout for big groups and good food.

Loved their food and the atmosphere was really fun. We had chicken and pork chops, onion rings and okra! All was super! The two bands were great and the kids lived all the outdoor activities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We are taking a large group there tonight!

Atmosphere is nice. Service is okay. Food is good except for the mac and cheese. It was served at room temperature making it very dry. Seems like we saw a fly or two.......

Has a cool atmosphere but if it is your first time it a little confusing on how to order. The staff was great and very nice. The food was awesome! Could've just had an order of onion rings! So freaking good!

Easily one of my favorite places in the entire state of Oklahoma. Their "Broasted" chicken is possibly the most flavorful chicken I've had and they have a jalapeno ranch sauce that just puts it over the top. The interior is small, but the wrap around, covered rear patio, bar and outside dining area is just fantastic for the kids. Picnic tables, fire pit, corn-hole games, and a giant cable-roll playground make for a fun time and lets the kiddos get out some energy while they cook your meal. And chicken isn't all they have...Tri-Tip, pork chops, catfish, jalapeno baked beans, fried okra, potato wedges...good grief...its a country cooking dream!! It's a beautiful Route 66 drive to get there and you owe it to yourself to give it a shot. HANDS DOWN the best Fried Chicken in the state.

The chicken & prime rib are sooooo Good! It is a fun place too. The kids can run around outside or there's live music and bar on weekends. We go weekly!

Long wait for food but some of the most delicious chicken you could ask for. The breading melts in your mouth, the chicken is incredibly moist, and the sides are delicious. I would also recommend getting the jalapeño ranch dipping sauce as it is top notch.

Visited today... been a year since I last stopped by... Got the TRI tip I heard so much about... It was fantastic... They expanded the patio in the back... great place to chill and you can bring your dog... I was pup sitting today...took my boxer mix, no issues Biker friendly = not sure, they used to be, I didnt' ride in today... Patch friendly = not sure wasn't wearing colors today Only rye whiskey was Bullitt = needs upgrading Lots of flies in back patio area...needs fly traps so they don't bother paying customers Beer was cold and they kept my mug FULL. As a full blooded Norwegian this is mandatory for me to spend or want to come back or ref...To others Live music = yes Had a customer ask me what I was doing with my acreage in choctaw... I related my neighbors were seeing substantial success with medical cannabis cultivation...ive made millions with cannabis stocks. .and I was thinking about researching if this might be a viable opportunity for me as well... I was asked by the bartender on the back patio(an older guy,never got his name) to leave the premises as some guests took offense to me relating to the conversation I had with a nice older couple whom had asked about my experiences and how they might develop their acreage... I was offended as me, my family , my friends and,associates have patronized this establishment since it opened... I paid my tab (over $100) and me,and my dog left... Was this just haters? I never had any static or problems with anyone here...

Second visit to Chicken Shack. Do I like them...we live over an hour from them! Best fried chicken in the world. Small place, super casual. The side dishes are yummy, and ya gotta try ALL of their dipping sauces. Wonderful staff. It's nothing to look at, with so much to return for.

I drive over an hour to get there. The chicken is that good. I love the options they have the staff is friendly the vibe is good. I love the out door part of the place its a great for family's a night out with the friends of heck just alone. Love this place.

Very dissapointed. The food wasn't worth the price or the wait. The place was staffed with a lot of teenagers, when asked anything the automatic answer was "I don't know" smile, walk away. They take your order at a counter, write your name on a paper plate, that you put on your table to identify your order. We waited quite a while. A table came in a long time and after us, but got their food lot sooner than we did. Later it was apparent that the teenager with our food took it for a long walk around the dining areas before finding it's way back to us. When I mentioned it, she just laughed and agreed. Other places, closer, better food, better service.... won't go back and certainly can't recommend this place.

Finally! Fried Chicken from a restaurant, that tastes like fried chicken. Crispy skin. Seasoned chicken. Plain and simple. Coleslaw was great too. This didn't taste like cardboard. Though, the breast was a little overdone and chewy. I'll definitely go back and give them another chance.

I’ve tried for 3 years to love this place since I live a mile from it, but tonight was the last straw. The service is always bad, and I deal with it, the chicken is , well it’s chicken....the music is.. well it’s music, but I want to support our local businesses. Tonight I ordered the 12 prime rib and after an hour I had to ask where my meal was only to find out it was sitting under the heat lamp waiting to be picking up as a “to go order” so when I received it not only was it in a stirofoam container it was cold. Well upon eating the 3 ounces of super rare cold beef and sifting through 9 ounces of cold fat, I decided to head to the Petroleum Club in Edmond to eat a good steak. So long chicken shack, farewell!

Best fried chicken I've ever had. Even the breasts were moist and delicious. The food took a while but it was WORTH IT. I recommend the whole fried chicken (to share between two or three people) with the potato wedges and onion rings.
