This Restaurant belongs to the category of Irish pub.
Best Friday night experience! They have a live band on Fridays. The drinks are fantastic. I had an Angry Balls and a Ginger & Ginger, which were delightful. The whiskey selection is huge and the bartender knows all kinds of cool facts about the whiskeys! The fish and chips, shepherds pie, and bangers and mash are my favorite dishes here. Seriously, you're going to have a great time at Sean Cummings.
Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food and live music.
Authentic Irish Pub experience in OKC!
Ate at the original location a long time ago. I was so excited to hear they were reopening. We can' kind of early for dinner so there wasn't any live music yet. But I know at the old place the music was fun and load and good. The fish and chips were really good and I can't wait to try the other food on the menu. I'll be back for brunch now that I know that's a thing.
DELICIOUS Irish stew (w/lamb, of course!) and authentic Irish soda bread. The owner is SUPER friendly.
Had to give a star but I haven't been there
Latest creation of an Authentic charming Irish Pub in the heart of Oklahoma City, created by the most Experienced and well-known genuine Irish Restauranteur in Oklahoma. Lively and entertaining authentic Irish music too. Excellent drink variety, and a wide variety of authentic delicious Irish food and serviced quickly, done just right, at reasonable prices. Sean and his staff made us feel right at “home.” I called him on Saturday evening and requested a reservation for two. He had a great table waiting for us with menus in a busy pub with likeable customers who were appreciating good live music, food, and service. Delicious complimentary bread and butter at every table. Ambience is friendly and entertaining. My clam chowder soup and Reuben Sandwich with Irish fried potatoes were very genuinely tasty and well-prepared. My Fiancé had a good salmon sandwich with tasty coleslaw. We will be returning soon and often. Both of us were impressed.
aMy Mother's Day treat! It was great fun. We lived in England and loved the pubs. The food and drinks were wonderful. There was a good band playing traditional music.
Food is excellent, whiskey selection is pretty extensive, although live music can be hit or miss. Otherwise, you can't get get a more Irish experience anywhere. LOVE it!
Great food and very authentic! They had live Irish music on a Saturday...great time
Absolutely amazing! Awesome food! Great staff! The meat pies are to die for!
Great food and great service THANK YOU
Excellent food. Service really good. The music just started as we were Leaving. A bit noisy, but they will take care of that as they finish decorating.
I Loved it ...Cathy Cummings stopped by our table & said hello & the food was outstanding...
One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Amazing sangria and service too
Fast friendly service, I got the shepherd's pie was delicious. Was a little cool where I was sitting. Live music was entertaining.
Authentic, warm and hospitable. Sean and company are the real deal!!! Slainte
Gray October day means an Irish food night. Sean Cummings never disappoints! The mulled cider is my new favorite fall drink and the bangers and mash warms you the rest of the way. Save room though, the bread pudding will turn even a naysayer like my daughter into a convert. Come hungry and stay a while for the music and drinks, you will thank me later!
Amazing Irish Fare. There is more than potatoes. Oh and the best Fish and Chips. I almost forgot to mention that there is life Irish Folk music every night. featuring local favorites like of Black Oak Shillelagh, Ravens 3, Flowers of Edinburgh, and Jason Hunt.
Had a blast with friends at Sean's. Great mixture of appetizers, bangers and live Irish music/song.
This place is amazing! Great food, great music!
Every thing was delicious and everyone is sooo friendly, I just love this place!!!
Favorite place in the city, great staff and amazing food. The owner is quite the character!
This place is quirky and offers a unique experience. The environment was laid back and casual. On a Tuesday near the end of happy hour live music began. The space is properly distributed where you can still enjoy conversation while not losing out on the music. In other words, it’s not overly loud, but still a fun environment.
Mussels and clams were great. However, the martini I ordered was only half full in the glass. I ordered it "lightly dirty", and it was way too dirty. I'll give this place another try. Always enjoyed the previous location.
Great food, friendly people, & fabulous music! Sean's is my go to place to unwind and relax.
Man, I really wanted to like this place because my grandmother is from Ireland, this cuisine is close to my heart. The complementary bread was stale and ice cold, totally from prior service. Taste was okay but would've been better fresh. We then ordered the Shepherd's Pie and fish and chips. Lord. Shephards pie is traditionally lamb, peas, carrots. This was a cottage pie-hamburger, a few beef tips, corn, frozen green beans, maybe a few peas, and cheese on top. It was meh. Could not cut through the beans. Mediocre at best. Not a lot of seasoning. Fish and chips-good fry on the fish but zero salt, mostly batter. Batter was not completely cooked through. The fries, 2 were cooked pretty decent, 4 were burnt to a crisp and blacker than the fish. Im so disappointed, this is not Irish cuisine done well. Had we not been hungry as hell and had somewhere to be, we wouldn't have eaten half of it and sent it back.
We came here on a Monday night, and were a little worried because it was dead inside. We weren’t sure what to expect because we wanted to watch football. They had two TVs so we sat in front of the bigger one. Our server came out and was really polite. She brought us some bread which was a little sad. It was these really tiny slices that were a little dry. We ordered a drink and got the mussels and clams (except they were out of clams so they gave us double mussels) and they were fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised. For dinner, I ordered the bangers and mash and my husband got the fish and chips. While we were waiting the owner (I think) handed us the tv remote and told us there was volume if we wanted it. It was really nice of him! Both of our entrees were great. Mine was a bit too salty for my palette, but my husband liked it. The chips that came with the fish were a little too thick in my opinion. They were very, very thick potato wedges. We then got dessert which was bread pudding. It was super yummy! If it had a scoop of ice cream on top it would have been heavenly. Overall, we would definitely come back, especially on a weekend when it is potentially busier. There was a man playing accordion the whole time which was lovely, and it was a very homey feel inside!
Good pub fare, really great live music, and atmosphere. One of my new favorite places to go.
Love this place! The staff is very friendly, music is great, but not too loud to carry on a conversation, the Shepard's Pie was amazing!! We'll definitely be back.
The best salmon cakes
The lunch portions were great for the amount of food you get. And it tastes great. I had the pub burger which has 12 oz of hamburger and an egg on top! That's a 3/4 lb burger for only $10. Comes with a side of"Irish chips". They are these perfectly cooked giant potato wedges. I'll definitely be coming back.
Great atmosphere, kid friendly, great service!
Great beet and food. All the staff and the customers are friendly. Great live music
Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere
Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. Three of us just had lunch and 1 out of three walked away pleased. I had the Irish Club with Irish chips. The sandwich was good but the chips were not. The wedges were cut in different sizes so some were burnt and some were raw. My friend had the same issue with her fish and chips but unfortunately her fish was soggy and greasy. Thankfully the third person ordered the meat pies and loved every bite. I wouldn't say stay away but I also wouldn't say make this your first choice.
Definitely in my too five of favorite restaurants.
Great food and perfectly poured Guinness! Also great fish and chips. I've had what was voted the best fish and chips in the US, they were nothing compared to Sean's
Really nice place. The food was great the Ambiance was great! Very friendly staff.
I've known and even worked alongside Sean for almost 2 decades. He's a great chef, comedian, provides great service, and a true friend. He also happens to run a great pub too. If you're on the north side of OKC, I'd recommend stopping in for a pint and some tasty pub food.
Looking for somewhere local to eat while visiting OKC. Found this place. Amazing food and service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Excellent service. Reuben and shepard's pie were very good as well! Truly appreciated the customer service. Thank you.
So glad they're back! Just as amazing as they've always been.
Great food, drinks, music and employees!
Good food, great service. Wish we could have stayed for the music, but it was a good time.
Food was outstanding service was great
Good place to get a drink with your friends
This place has awesome food, atmosphere and music! 6/5. Would try again
Great food and live music. What else can you ask for?
Great food and service! Fun and lively place. Live music!
Loved
Food was good but we experienced poor service. Irish stew was good.
Place looks pretty cool and authentic, I love listening to the live music. The food is ok at best, they could do with upgrading the type of meat they use in the pies. Also, drinks are way over priced (even for a bar). But the staff and entertainers are very friendly.
I ordered the wrong drink and she even made the wrong thing that I ordered. I still drank it though, definitely not that kind of customer. A good whole in the wall restaurant.
Absolutely love this restaurant! So glad that they did get a new location. Great Irish food. Fabulous atmosphere.
It is a Irish pub atmosphere, often with live traditional music. Good food and drink.
The food is so good and I really enjoyed the live music!
One of my faves. Friendly staff great food.
Thoroughly loved this place. The bangers were banging. Authentic decor, polite attentive staff.
Love the atmosphere-- feels.like the "real deal" I've frequented on visits to Ireland.
Great service. Food and a wonderful atmosphere
absolutely loved the environment and the folks and staff had a blast... btw the fish and chips were awesome.
Incredible food atmosphere and service. My new spot to for family and friends
Food and beer was average. Place was too small with a boring layout and atmosphere. Not worth it
We went here to try out the food. The atmosphere was perfect, lovely live band, excellent service and the best Pup food I've had outside of the UK including sticky Toffee Pudding! We will be returning customers!
Bangers and mash...all day. It is great for brunch and a late night dinner. The staff are very friendly and fun. It is also a great place to watch soccer!
They had beer and what not.
We went to watch a friend play Irish music one Saturday night and were very pleased with our experience. We are now asking around so we can bring a larger group next time we visit! We loved the food, the service was great and the atmosphere was a perfect reflection of an Irish pub. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.
Loved them at the old location, too! More room here, but still the atmosphere. Great place to meet folks....and the fish and chips....holy cow! Gotta have 'em! Beer and whiskey selection is great as well! Glad they are back.....
Such a fun restaurant! The salmon boxty and vegetables is my go to and my husband loves the fish and chips. The traditional Irish music played live is a treat. Our server seemed really inexperienced but was friendly. The owners and veteran wait staff are awesome and always go out of their way to make you feel like family. Love it!
Outstanding atmosphere, great live music most evenings, delicious food, and an impressive selection of Irish whiskeys. What's not to love?
Live music, AMAZINGLY good food & super friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
Amazing food, fun music, and great staff.
Authentic & fun atmosphere. Drinks, soda bread, & desserts were yummy. My sister & I enjoyed our night here- loved the bagpipes
Just awesome! Food and entertainment were amazing as always!
Great place good food and good entertainment
Always a packed house! Great food and good friends. Grateful to have joined the opening week of Vito's.
Authentic Irish food. It's surprising to me that there is no real competition in OKC, though it works for me because I live on the NW side of OKC. The traditional music is great. Wonderful to get authentic Irish food with traditional Irish music in the same place. Now they just need to buy out the Sonic next door so they can double or triple the dining space. :)
Great Irish fare, live music and wonderful pub atmosphere!
Excellent food! Canned Irish music is somewhat annoying.
We went during the World Cup Final. The bar opened early for breakfast, it was packed and I’m not sure they expected the massive turn out. Food was good, staff was friendly but stressed.
Outstanding food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. Worth an evening with friends
My whole family loves the food here. They have live music most nights and pour the perfect Guinness. Save room for the bread pudding as it is the best in town.
Good wholesome Irish food beer Whiskey's good service
I always feel at home at Sean's, this is a true neighborhood pub. The food is spectacular, authentic music and bands, and there is always a friendly face. If you want to be transported to Ireland for a few hours, Sean Cummings is the place to go!
Having never been to an Irish pub I had no real idea what to expect. As I approached the building I quickly noticed that the parking lot was small. The packed lot gave me an indication that the food must be amazing to draw that many patrons. Upon meeting my group and going inside, I noticed that even the interior seemed small as well. The wait for a table was not bad, and considering how busy they were upon our arrival I was actually impressed with how quickly we were seated. My next thought was how cozy the atmosphere inside was. There were many old family photos and 'Irishisms' decorating the walls. Despite the small appearance, the interior is setup quite nicely and makes an efficient use of the available space. When I looked at the menu I saw such things as bangers and mash, fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage and other traditional Irish style meals. Everyone at our table ordered a different meal and each looked phenomenal. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage. My dinner party ordered the fish and chips, bangers and mash, and the shepherd's pie. All the dishes were well prepared. I've had corned beef at other restaurants that always seemed dry so I was a little skeptical. The corned beef here far exceeded my expectations. It was moist and tender with amazing flavor. When it came time for dessert I ordered some form of apple concoction. I didn't catch the name of it but it was exceptionally good. The sweetness of the apple combined with the ice cream and whatever liquid they soaked the apples in made the perfect combination of flavor. All in all, I have to say that I will definitely be returning to this amazing dining establishment. Hats off to you Sean Cummings!
Great food, music, ambiance!
Customer service here always blows me away! The Saturday night waiter remembered our order from the week before the second time we went there. He even remembered my food allergies. I always feel bad just getting my $4 side salad, so be sure to tip that guy well!!
Have loved this place for years. I liked the vibe of the old location more but still same esthetic with more space and have never had anything food or drink wise I didn't like. Try the fish stew or colcannon and look on their website or fb for when they have their live music. Most authentic irish place I've been to in okc.
Pork tenderloin very good. Bartender knowledgeable. Live music.
I had the Irish Breakfast (Fry-up) it was outstanding, The service was excellent, The owner Sean himself greeted me. Told him the food was excellent. I told Sean I look for good Irish pub to have the Fry-up... To test the quality off the product, I was there on Saturday (March 30). Pat C from Plano
We had a great time. Jason is quite the entertainer. Brings the crowd in on the songs which is always more fun.
Great atmosphere, very often has live Irish music. I've never been to Ireland but coming here makes me feel like I'm experiencing an authentic Irish pub.
Great Food with a local pub atmosphere.
You can see where repairs are done mostly covered with paint. The food was small portions and mostly potatoes. Wet might go back for second chance but not in a hurry top do it
Amazing place! Great food. Best salmon I've ever had. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Staff make you feel like family!
Place is cool , i like the idea of leaving a pint.
Live music Monday- Saturday nights, good food and drinks make for a fun evening
Great food and atmosphere. Live music after 7.
Great food and music.
Great food! Good ambiance and lots of live music.
So great of a place you almost want to keep it a secret.... almost.
Ac was out when we went, so it was quite uncomfortable. Colcannon was fantastic.. fish and chips were ok. Music was nice. I will give it another try.
Great little place. I got the Irish breakfast, and I would get it again any day. Others in the party ordered the fish and chips... Holy cow...what an awesome meal. We all left full
Great place to hang out
Great service, ice cold Guinness and some of the best fish and chips around. It definitely has an Irish common house feel. A+
Guiness 6/5 Bread 5/5 Sheppard’s Pie 4/5 ————————— Average 5 out of 5 stars! Will come back, but with friends next time!
Excellent Irish food and atmosphere for the northwest side of the city
Came here with some friends. It's like a little bit of Ireland in the states!
Great place good food and great people.
Best place to drink a few pints of Guinness. Get the corned beef it is amazing!
A husband and wife team with a split pub/restaurant. You can go to a neighborhood pub in Ireland at Sean Cummings on the left, or to a cozy Italian trattoria at Vito’s on the right. Both equally authentic and fantastic.
Small but quaint. Definitely has that old pub feeling. Great beer and cocktail list with a full Irish menu. The Shepard's Pie was seriously amazing!!
Great little Irish Pub, fun atmosphere, good music, and the menu was exactly what we wanted. Fish and chips was great, as was the full breakfast. Brought mum here for mother's day and she loved it.
We found this resturant via Google and loved the images of the food! Our drive across town was absolutely worth it. We walked in to the friendliest welcome. We were sat and greeted by our waiter and the welcoming demeanor kept going. I felt like we were having dinner at a friends house. The in-house entertainment was quite lovely and quaint. It made our experience that much more wonderful. Take the time, enjoy the food, enjoy the atmosphere, Clap along enjoy your food and drink! We will be going back. Maybe we'll see you there! Cheers.
I just love this place. Great food, great atmosphere, friendly people, good music. What else can a person ask for.
Can't wait to go back.
I love the live music! It feels like you could walk out and be in Ireland! Wonderfully kind staff and awesome beer!
Service was great! Food was goodm
Great atmosphere and friendly staff
They have a great bar! The atmosphere is great, they have live music often and a good beer selection. My one recommendation would be to add more flavor to the potatoes served with the cornbeef.
This is one of my favorite places. If you want something different than the normal food places this is The on a e for you. The food is authentic Irish food and really good. They have live Irish music nightly and I haven't heard one yet that I haven't liked. It is a little noisy so if you are wanting a quiet place to talk this wouldn't be the place to come.
The food at this place rivals Raglan Road in Orlando which says a lot. Nightly entertainment isn't bad either. A really fun place! I will definitely go back.
Love the authentic Irish fare, great Irish beer and whiskey, with live Irish music most nights
Great place for dinner and/or drinks. Authentic Irish food and beverage. Pricing is moderate, too.
crazy selection of imported whiskeys and the food is killer, also that soda bread is righteous reminds me of when my dad would make it. best irish pub in okc
Friendly staff, good food, live traditional Irish music.
I never made it to the first iteration of Sean's but visiting on day three of the new one I was very impressed with the service, the people and the good. You could take your kids, they even have a wee ones menu. I know that once they are up to full speed and the full menu available I can imagine this becoming a 5 star review. The owner is on site and the Guinness on tap was poured perfectly. They have fish and chips as well as more traditional fare such as a selection boxtys, shepards pie, and other things. As we as kick butt bread pudding.
A place I consider my second home. The staff are cheery, the crowd is kindly, with live music almost every Saturday. Affordable food with average costing drinks. Personally recommended foods to try: Shepard's Pie, salmon cakes, Power's whiskey and the Guinness wings!
Great place to have a fun night out. Live music and drink specials. My date and I each had the burger. It was the best burger I have had in ages. They had a wine special and a whiskey flight! I got the Guinness and it was perfect. I think we will be back soon and often!
Great beer and food! Will be back
Good food, Guinness on draft. Really cool place. Only complaint would be is it is a bit pricey.
Atmosphere was good, but the fishermen's pie was mostly potatoes with little else to accompany them besides watered down gravy.
THIS IS AN IRISH PUB! Authentic! Delicious! WONDERFUL staff! Live music. What more could you ask for?
Very friendly, cozy and quaint, just an overall pleasant experience.
We had an enjoyable experience and the food was great. I had the meat pies and my wife had the fish and chips. The live music tonight was a great addition.
How wonderful to have our own Irish pub in OKC. The food was great. We enjoyed the Irish music.
Food is really good, but I've had a really difficult time getting service sometimes. Joined a group of friends after they had already ordered and the server came by multiple times and I couldn't get there attention without shouting at a disruptive volume. Finally got to place my order and it was out quickly, but my water was never refilled and I didn't get a chance to order another beer.
I love this restaurant. Most "Irish pubs/restaurants" in Oklahoma are NOT authentic. Sean Cummings Irish pub is as authentic as it gets. From corned beef and cabbage, bangers, to Irish whiskey and gin. They usually have a great atmosphere and good Irish folk bands. The service is great and generally remembers their customers. I absolutely love every dish and the meat is always fall off the bone tender.
Music...good food....home sweet home....
Great little pub and the fish and chips are the bomb! I highly recommend : )
Sean is amazing and hospitable as usual - this restaurant has evolved into such a great place and the food and service has always remained the same. You can't go wrong with any of their entree's, which hold true to classic Irish tastes and have always been top notch. The restaurant they are located now has a great setup with plenty of room, which is a great improvement over the last two locations, though they had their charm.
Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. Absolutely a must visit! Great live music nights and a wonderful drink selection if you're just out for a night of fun!
I love the shepherd's pie. Having the bread pudding today was a real treat. I think it has a raspberry base. They have other items on the menue, I'm sure they are all great but getting away from the pie seems to be an issue for me. Met the owner once in a previous visit. Seems like a legitimate person. Was happy to talk with me, and glad I spoke with him. Meeting local leaders improves our community. I will happily come back over and over.
I had the BEST TIME here! After a long week it was just what I needed. With the Irish band playing I felt like I had stepped below deck on the Titanic (where all the fun people go to hang out) Very friendly and warm atmosphere. I ate the Shepherd's Pie. The mashers on top were glorious! Can't believe I took this long to try out the new location. Love this space!!!
Hands down, The Best birthday dinner I've ever had!
We went to hear the live music and to have dinner. The food was very good. The staff was very friendly. We all agreed we would like to go back again.
Delicious food. Very nice waitstaff. Would had preferred music after 8pm. They served our large party quickly. If you enjoy whiskey, they offer a huge selection. All in all good entre values. Enjoy!
