We went together as a group to have some lunch. We were seated right away. The waiter was very diligent with the ordering process and made sure our tickets were correct and separate. He had a good process for it. The queso and chips came quickly. I ordered enchiladas with rice and beans. The meal was good and it was portioned well.

Decent food for a decent price. This is not anything amazing but you also aren't paying a really high price. So I think it is fair but not highly outstanding. The house Margarita barely tasted like it was even mixed. But they have some great drinks and their drink menu is very fun. Def worth a try but nothing to write home about, as grandpa used to say

Tasty food, nice atmosphere, generous portions, and friendly staff. I came in for lunch and it wasn't super busy, but the food was still very good and the wait staff was attentive. The salsa that comes with the chips is kind of bland and tomato heavy. However the entrees were very tasty and reasonably priced.

Omg.. this place was great! I'm picky about Mexican food and I'm not a fan of some of the more popular places. I'm looking for Mexican food. Not Tex Mex. They didn't disappoint. I ordered Morjarra Frita. It's a fried whole fish. Served with avacado and tomato slices with lime. I have ordered this same dish in at least 10 different spots in the Okc area. Hands down this is the best! And this is exactly how it's served traditionally. Comes out hot, not greasy at all. I look forward to exploring the menu further.

I went during lunch on friday, the service o.k. but we had to wait for refills, the complementary chips were stale and my daughter-n- law whom is Mexican didn't like her burrito, and my chimichangas were ok. For the price we won't be back. it wasn't the worst place but def not the best.

This is an awesome place to eat! I normally get pescado con brochetas. That's 'fish and skewers' for most people that don't speak Spanish. I love this meal and loved it this most recent time, unfortunately I can't say the same about the atmosphere or company, though I didn't invite them. The Mariachi they have for birthdays is pretty loud but I suppose that's how it's supposed to be. Maybe they should put birthday parties in a different area from their guests that are just there to enjoy their meal. There was also a man and two women who were completely drunk before they came in and were seated in my area. The man continuously sang 'Ay, ayi, ayi, ayi, at the top of his voice while the two Hienas...hmm sorry...women, laughed....loudly! Could have a better atmosphere but still great food.

The food was mediocre. I have had before delivered to my house and it was better than when I ate in restaurant. The waiter was ok. But as we were nearing the end of dinner all the wait staff came and stood along the kitchen wall and mostly watched us eat. Made me feel rushed. I didn't see what closing time was but should it matter if we are dining in for a family dinner? We tipped well and there was still others eating. So I rated a three because I felt rushed like they were ready to go home for the night

To start they give you a cheese dip and a salsa with your chips, salsa is very fresh and chips are huge. The portions for you meal are big enough for 2 people so they are priced very fair. The food was fresh, hot and very good. They gave you sapollios with cinnamon and sugar with optional honey complimentary, which are the best ones I have ever had!! The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a wonderful place with nice atmosphere.

I loved the food here. The service was good, the management was excellent. This is a staff who work hard so you will come again. I had shrimp sauteed in garlic with rice and beans and a Horchata. Everything had a great flavor. I can't wait to try the barbacoa.

The food was great - I had the fajita chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. The service was amazing, and we had a large group of what we thought was just 10-12 people but grew to 18-20. They were so accommodating, professional, and positive about it. I definitely recommend being better prepared for the group size than we were, and I highly recommend San Marcos whether in a large group, small group, couple, or going solo.

Very nice waiter, arrival for everyone at our table was all sorts of scattered and he was still very quick and direct with each of our drinks and orders. Not over bearing and not missing. Orders were placed and delivered within 10-12 minutes it seemed (for a party of about 10 people). Very impressed with the speed and efficiency of San Marcos on 59th. The food wasn't particularly different than many other restaurants I've been to in the area, still good. They do have a nice fajita kabob. Dessert was nice and warm/fresh. Give them a visit.

I came in for lunch at 1pm, ordered two enchiladas, one beef one cheese, got two beef. After it took 20 minutes to prepare. The wait staff was very apologetic and offered to give me a cheese enchilada on the side, but I didn't have time to wait for another. The food that I got was very good, and chips and salsa were delicious. Might be a better dinner place, because the drink selection looked wonderful.

AMAZINGLY speedy service. Very attentive. Food was pretty good, although not exactly what younger children in group expected. Maybe a little too authentic for their tex-mex palates... I've had the beef quesadilla and it was as large as a XL pizza, one of my favorites. Salsa is made fresh and the relish is the bomb! Nachos and enchiladas are super good too. We have had nothing but great food and service.
