The atmosphere is warm and inviting. My Father and I went for lunch and had the chicken fried filet. It was so tender I cut with a fork. The meat was seasoned and the batter was seasoned, great flavor overall. The server was attenetive without being overbearing. Everything I'd expect from a Hal Smith run restaurant. Will be going back for sure.

I have visited on multiple occasions now and everything has always been great! The service is very good and they all seem to be very attentive. The atmosphere is more of a bar then a restaurant to me but it is still kid friendly which is a plus. The meatloaf is my go to although this last visit I went with the filet. It was good but the price tag is a bit steep for what you are getting. Overall I rate it 5 stars regardless. We will be back soon.

Food was good, service was good, prices are high for what you get. When I'm paying $11 for a chicken fried steak meal, I don't expect to find myself poking around on my plate looking for the rest of it... and I'm not a big eater by any means (5'9" 180#). In essence, it's a great place to eat/drink and watch some sports if you aren't on a budget and don't mind the feeling that you really didn't get your money's worth as you're walking out the door.

I've been here many times and never disappointed. The stash pain management always always exceeds my expectation. Food is excellent I usually go Sunday brunch or on Tuesday because I love the fried chicken. Plus it's fun to go when WWLS radio is there doing a live broadcast, (a per game show for the Thunder).

Friendly staff. Enjoyed a bowl of Veggie quinoa stew and a Malbec. The bowl was a good amount of stew and very tasty and filling. Hubby tried a local draft, Prairie bomb. He enjoyed it and said it was more like a sipping beer. We recommend this place for the atmosphere, good peeps & tasty bites.

I went to the Norman location once in undergrad and had a horrible experience. I’ve been to the location in OKC on memorial twice and it’s been great. Jewels was the bartender and she’s so sweet! The potatoes were over cooked, it’s probably because I came at the end of brunch hour, but she brought new ones and they were great. Love this location. The food is great, but the service is better.

We tried Pub W mainly because it was within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at. The menu looked appealling if unremarkable. We were very pleasantly surprised with every cocktail and food item we tried. The tuna ceviche was absolutely outstanding: big chunks of tuna mixed with avocado, onion, tomato and a very light lime juice. A chalk board special of salmon on an avocado puree was perfectly cooked, slightly on the rare side. Even with the kid-friendly chicken strips and fries, the items were obviously prepared with some attention to detail, with the fries perfectly done and the strips lightly battered and still juicy. The accompanying "squash puppies" were a nice change from the heavier and more familiar hush puppies they emulate. Our waiter was also outstanding. Knowledgeable about ingredients in everything and very upbeat and friendly. What else can I say? We weren't expecting this level of quality in a nondescript restaurant district

This was not my first visit, which is good. Had it been, I wouldn't have come back. We just ordered appetizers, but took forever. Food was warm when we got it. I prefer my food hot though. The service was okay. Wasn't anything to write home about. So being my second visit I won't go back. Sadly I told people the food was good and I would recommend it . I wish now I would not have recommended them. The price of going out tto eat these days is costly , so waging the quality of food versus the price of the food tonight, it was not worth it. I was generous with the rating of 3.

I ate here because it was within walking distance of my hotel and I wanted some place where I could get a beer that wasn't a bud/miller/coors. Their craft selection was good for a more suburban area. Good select from Coop and Prairie among others. The food was pretty good. Mid to upscale pub/Americana. Service was great.

Pub W is a great spot for brunch! I had the chicken fried filet and it was so good. It's hard to get a chicken fried steak to still have the crunchy crust while having the gravy in it but they nailed it! Service was great and quick. Mimosas are cheap too

Have had brunch and dinner here a few times and the food is always good. The drink selection is great with several local Oklahoma beers. The staff are friendly, and the dining area is usually great for kids and families. It's not a super quiet dining experience, which is good when your kids are noisy.

Met my husband for his birthday at happy hour. Decent happy hour specials for drinks, but nothing for appetizers. We got 2 appetizers the buffola shrimp and the Idaho nachos and they were both delicious! I also got a bowl of the corn chowder, which is my absolute favorite thing there. They have a great chill atmosphere. The brunch is also wonderdul if you go on the weekend!

Was great! Ambiance, food, service. We've been there for lunch amd everything was perfect. Excellent cocktail (Blackberry Cosmo I think), very good flavors and texture chicken nachos (not a common presentation and definitely better taste especially the delicious salsa), very tasty coconut-ginger shrimp salad (salad, schrimp, coconut-ginger vinaigrette, fried noodles....). I loved it, menu and presentation are original, food is flavorful, service is excellent. The only that was not great was the bathroom that were not clean (and we arrived shortly after opening).

Great service. Nice beer selection with interesting rotators. Good atmosphere for game nights with lots of easily-visible TVs. Never had a bad meal here. Try the spicy shrimp tacos, they are excellent.

It was good. I really really enjoyed the service. We had a wonderful wait staff, and the manager even wanted to make sure we had a good time. They were pleasant. It would be 5 stars but we did not enjoy the food as much as we probably could have. My wife ordered a veggie burger and they gave her a meat patty, which isn't the end of the world, but the burger was also super over cooked and dry. The fries were wonderful though. In fact, I think they have my new favorite fries. They were great.

The food was pretty good, but the staff is what really made me enjoy it. All the waiters were nice and had conversations about menu items. My only complaint is that they left something off my burger ,but as soon as I asked they fixed it. Love the vibes so much. Definitely recommend.

I’m not sure what happened since we first tried this place but they seem scattered and understaffed. Our appetizer came after our meal. It was cold soggy nachos. The manager seemed aggrivated when we asked him to take them off our ticket. The bartender was busy but also seemed distracted and unorganized. I ordered my beer with salt on the rim. After the second beer between me and my husband, I coached the bartender on how to pour the beer so the foam doesn’t hit the salt causing the beer to overflow, leaving only lime on my salt and lime beer. Last, I ordered a dessert because it was after all my birthday. We waited 15 mins before asking about our order. When it came, we were pleased but the wait was just the “icing on the cake”! We left with a tab of $55... We will go back but with much lower expectations.

I really enjoy having weekend brunch at Pub W. I like the bar setting at this location, it's dark and mellow but with lots of seating and excellent tv viewing. The bar tenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately my waffle was lukewarm by the time it got to me, but I love the special bourbon syrup they make. The migas were nice and hot and bursting with flavor and even topped with a nice visual pizzaz of tortilla strips and drizzled sourcream.

My favorite Pub in OKC. Wonderful food, open concept floorplan provides you with ample entertainment across all the giant screens. Good beverage selection. Kid friendly. Only draw back us it can get loud and a bit chaotic when at peak. Wait time hasn't ever been excessive even when busy. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The beer is unique and fantastic. I ordered the Pretzel burger and, while a lot of food, wasn't particularly outstanding. The Sweet Potato fries were average. My wife had the Chicken Fried Filet Mignon but said it was just Chicken Fried Steak. We both enjoyed the squash puppies though. The staff is great! Everyone wore a great smile and proved knowledgeable. It's a good change of pace and what pub food should be.

Fried chicken was lit! So good - does take a while to whip up - but that's how you know it's good. Huge beer selection. Tons of fun cocktail choices. Only thing is I wish they would have told me there was nuts in the bread pudding. Could really been a problem for me but even more so for others who may be a little more indulged than I was.

My wife and I enjoyed a date here. Both of us grabbed burgers and fries and man, were they good. One of the most perfectly cooked burgers I've ever had. Crispy exterior while still juicy on the inside. I will say if they put them on brioche buns they might take the crown for best burger around, if they don't have it already. Excellent quality and great tasting beef. Perfectly crispy and seasoned french fries. Definitely won't be disappointed with a burger from Pub W.

Food is good that's why we wanted this for mother's day brunch. Getting seated was a disaster!!! They will quote 10-15 min, after you wait that and see people coming in after you being seated, then ask how long for your party of 3 to be told 20 more minutes. Once we chose to leave the manager immediately said we can seat you now, meaning if there was a wait ahead we got to jump those people. As this happens the hostess is giggling and smirking to the other hostess. Wouldnt have been a big deal except I had sat for 15 minutes watching them talk about people as they walked up and giggle. Very trashy and unprofessional. We chose not to stay simply because of the hostess behavior.So much for a nice Mothers Day brunch.

We stopped at Pub W while visiting Oklahoma City. It’s a nice, if not somewhat average, upscale restaurant/bar. I ate a Chupacabra - a tasty mixture of Chipotle chicken, grilled jalapeños, grilled onions and Muenster cheese with something called spicy aioli and jalapeño bread. Do not eat this if you have anywhere important to be twelve hours later, such as a business meeting, a wedding, or a funeral. Sometime during the night my Chupacabra vaporized in my large intestine, escaping in little trouser coughs and burps the following morning in what can only be described as an eye watering experience for the entire family. The children were crying in the back seat of the car and my wife threatened to make me walk home to Kansas City. Hey, the food was good, the prices were average, and the service was great. But you can't say that no one told you. There was no warning. And it was ugly.

Nice atmosphere. Great selection of beers on draft and bottle. Full bar with unique mixed drinks and cocktails. Decent selection of wines. Menu includes mostly Southern comfort foods but does incorporate some finer culinary expressions. The service was shared and very attentive. Our under 21 server knew nothing about the drinks which is over half the menu.

I decided I wanted meatloaf and Google suggested Pub W. I had on working clothes and the person who greeted me made me feel like I was royalty. They spoke about the sides and started my order. The service was pretty quick and they were so friendly! Wow! I will come back and dine soon! Oh, the green beans and brussel sprouts were magnificently grilled with flavorful seasonings. The meatloaf...Devine!!!! I will be back and I'll bring friends too. I am so glad I found this restaurant! You've GOT to try it!
