You must have seen that it reaches an reviews average is nearly the best one, and it's founded on a high number of scores, so we may say that the evaluation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.

This Restaurant is classified in the category of Gastropub.
Located on a not so busy street downtown with limited street parking (free) available right in front. Oak and Ore has a warehouse look to it with high ceilings. They brew their own beer and yes, there is quite the variety of it available. They have a combination of regular table seating, high tables with stools where you can sit or stand and bar seating. Atmosphere is casual and very well suited to large groups of people. Airy and bright and spacious. They had rock and roll music mostly from the 70's and 80's playing which I dig, so was quite enjoyable. I ordered the Gyro plate that came either vegetarian or chicken (my pick). This was on a Pita bread (flat) with cucumber, dressing and lettuce. I ordered a side of Asian Slaw. This was an interesting take on the American Cole slaw. The Asian version of it had Cabbage, Broccoli, Carrots, Snap Peas with a sesame seed dressing. Very tasty indeed. Overall would recommend this place. Not too crowded on a Monday night around 5:30 ish. Not sure how busy they are on more popular evenings.
Great beer selection that changes frequently, really good pubgrub. Pretty limited food menu but everything is well prepared and served quickly. A Plaza District "must" - especially for first-timers.
I always enjoy coming here and seeing what new tasty beers they have on tap. And the food is always good! Love the nacho!
What a great drinking venue! Did they serve food...I don’t know I was drinking a variety of handcrafted beers. Yummy
Nice menu selection. Been here a few times. Definitely recommend the tacos if you like street tacos! I don't drink beer but they have what looks like a large selection. The bartenders are good. So I've visited here twice for the Tuesday night chicken. Nashville hot both times. First time was great seasoning blend and spices. Second time the seasoning was off. Having said that I will be back
The online photos make this place look nicer than what it really is. Having said that, it was the best crispy skin salmon I've ever had. Service was good and great section of beers. Really loud inside.
Great beer selections on tap - suggest getting a 'flight" of sample beers. Always NEW beer selections coming in. Good food as well. Love their big soft pretzels
This place is pretty awesome. I’ve had great service here. The beer selection and knowledge is good. Clean. Food is pretty good. I would recommend this place.
Wish they had more wine selections, but what they have is awesome
We've loved this place since it opened and they've only gotten better. We most recently stopped in for weekend brunch and it was stellar. Small, unique menu, but something for everyone- even kid plates. And, as always a great rotating beer menu.
Fun staff vast menu equals a great time
Great craft beer selection and food is always excellent
Trendy spit with 50+ beer options that are as varied as they are delicious. Decorated modern yet modest with a calm vibe. A good place to meet for business or have a serious conversation.
A rainbow of beautiful beers! An ever-changing menu of both food and drinks in a neato atmosphere. Grab a tasting flight and a honey chicken biscuit or a mimosa and street tacos. No wrong answers here!
Hung out here on a Tuesday night. The bartender was super nice and had great recommendations, I’ll be back!
If you are a CRAFT BEER lover and you are wanting to try all the local beer and then some this is a good place to start. They also serve other adult beverages and food. The food is okay not very consistent; the service is pretty slow when ordering food.
Great beer selection!
We had the cubano, street tacos, and hot fries. Everything was delicious. My husband had a flight of beers, selected by the bartender, and he was a big fan of all of them. Also, no wait on a Friday night which was nice.
Good hot chicken Nashville style. Plenty of brews on tap.
There are waiters, but they dont wait on you. You have to go to the bar and order your food and drinks which makes it hard when you are trying to enjoy your company. The steaks were very good according to my friends but the bulgogi that I had was not bulgogi and tasted off. Like the meat was about to go bad. It was just chunks of steak thrown in the rice. I would like to say I'd give it a second go but they would have to fix the menus at the table then go up and order food situation.
What can I say... we love this place. Easily in our top 3 in the OKC metro. It is a gastropub that doesn’t skimp on either the drinks or the culinary delights. The beer selection is amazing and the appetizers (especially the pretzels and cheese tray) are delicious. The menu is a savory, delightful treat. We love the Cubano and the street tacos. Oh and don’t forget to come for the Sunday brunch menu as well. Oh x2... on Tuesday nights they have a phenomenal fried chicken menu. Just do yourself a favor and go and go again to see all that this place has to offer.
Atmosphere, food and beer are outstanding! Such a cool place!
Amazing tacos and a great ale selection. Location can cause parking trouble but it's worth it occasionallyfor some good food and drink.
Had the Cubana - it is an excellent sandwich! (Best I've had since I lived in South Florida.) The beer selection is varied & exceptional. Staff is very friendly. You can even try a taste of any brew before you buy it! Highly recommend Oak & Oar!
One of my favorite places to get craft beer on tap, that's not straight from the brewery. Awesome selection.
Great spot. Taplist and food were both excellent. If this were in Seattle, I'd be a regular.
Wide selection of brews on draft. Ample seating at bar, hig-top tables, and booth. Kid-friendly and group friendly atmosphere. Several meals are shareable. Several TV's at the bar to watch the game.
Ok, to begin if you just came for the beer, that's enough, fantastic, period. But the service from Eli is everything that makes this place. She is VERY knowledgeable about the beers and having you try and experience new beers that appeal to your palate. And then her personality brings out the best in the customer so they have the ultimate time. Micah, the owner, came out and talked to us about the beers and his experience with the brewery and then even about his life. A very home-town brewery. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. *whispers* they could charge more. Beers to try - Left Hand Peach Beerlini, Founders Double Trouble, and the special one, Rahr + Son Paleto de Mango.
The bartenders are amazing. They know what they are talking about and make really good suggestions. They are super caring as well. When the uber app was being stupid, they were super nice and made sure we were able to get back to our hotel safely. The food was yummy. The gyro was a staff recommendation, and it was okay. The French dip was made with bbq and was yummy, but different than what I was expecting.
THE place to grab a beer and a snack on 16th St. Friendly staff, tasty food, and an ever changing selection of great beers.
Great beer selection! They have a good kids menu too.
I’ve only been here a couple times but really enjoyed my experience both times! They have a wide selection of draft/craft beer and it’s a really hip spot. The second time we came while we were waiting for our table at another restaurant. They were packed! We ordered our drink and stood by the standing tables they have at the front. The greeter was a really cool dude and seemed really thankful when we declined the offer to sit (we have two legs and we weren’t gonna be there long, let someone else have it) and ended up having a nice conversation with him. I’m pretty sure they have things like trivia night and board game nights which would be really fun! Definitely would come back when I’m in the area and need a drink!
36 different beers on tap means something everyone is sure to like
Good food and better than average beer selection. Service was very good.
Robin makes a great old fashioned! You can sit outside, drink beer and pet puppies. Worth a visit!
Sunday Brunch at Oak and Ore! When a group of nine is looking for a Sunday brunch in the district, finding a place with enough seating is hard to do. It's awesome when you find a place that has good brunch offerings and is not as well-known as some of the other places. We got to sit down immediately upon entrance. Oak and Ore is one of those places. We shared the steak and eggs. Our request for a medium-rare steak was successfully received. The wife wants a hard egg and ours was a little runny today, but it was still good. Others at our table got the burrito or the French toast and everyone was really happy with their orders. If you like beer, Oak and Ore has one of the larger menus around and it is regularly changing. I reserved a 5 rating for especially great experiences. So a 4 is high for me. We will definitely be back to Oak and Ore for brunch!
Great beers!
My first time here and stopped without plans. Alvey? was so amazing. They let me sample multiple beers and helped me choose a few that fit my taste. The beer was simply amazing and this alone puts this place at the top however they went above and beyond. The hospitality receives higher marks than I am allowed. They were super passionate about their beers. They wanted to teach me. I found it so refreshing. I felt cherished and celebrated while enjoying craft beers with a knowledgeable caring staff. This will be my go to place. Nothing like it around.
This is the best craft bar in Oklahoma City. If you are at all interested in craft beer or love it completely you should go here. The wall of taps is excellent and ever changing. The bartenders are knowledgable and so friendly. The food is also good but I cannot talk up the draft beer selection enough. I highly reccomend Oak & Oar!
So many great beers
Nice place for a drink and a chat on a Wednesday.
A friend brought me here a while back for me to try out different styles of beers. I was very pleased with all the different styles they had on tap and available. The prices were pretty reasonable too and the drinks that I had were delicious. Each style had their own unique flavor and it was a treat. I recommend stopping by if you're a curious cat. Enjoy!
THIS RESTAURANT IS AMAZING. THE FOOD IS SUPER DELICIOUS AND TASTY. THE CHEF WAS NICE ENOUGH TO MAKE ME FOOD FROM OFF THE MENU, THATS NORMALLY SERVED AFTER 3PM. I HAD STREET TACOS AND MEXICAN CORN. I HONESTLY WISH THIS PLACE WAS LOCATED IN EDMOND. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I ALSO DID A TO GO ORDER OF SHRIMP AND GRITS. @famous_kiki1
Excellent beer list. All craft beer on tap.
Cool place. Good beer. Great wait staff.
Great selection of beers including stuff I never thought I'd see here in Oklahoma. Food was really good as well. Only drawback was the price, but that was to be expected when going out for craft beer and good food.
Loooved the fried chicken. Beers are a bit pricey. Faster at the ba. Friendly staff.
Great selection of craft beers and good food- menu is always changing and is small by thats good!
Great drinks, great pretzels. Good crowd. Friendly bar keepers.
Cubano sandwich was dry. Ham overcooked made it tough to chew. More mustard or juicier pickles could've worked.
Great service and great food.
I loved the place it was nice
Great selection of beers. This place is a bit on the pricy side but well worth it.
Love this place when my boyfriend and I come into town. Very large craft beer selection and the food is always surprisingly good for a place that seems primarily for drinks. So far we have had the steak dinner, tacos, a cheese board, and honey chicken biscuits. It was all worth every penny every time.
Service was good, beer selection was widely varied and the signage was informative. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The highlight was when I wanted to move my flight to the table where my friends were and someone randomly appeared to help. She even maintained the order pf my samples. It was great.
This is a great place to grab a beer. They have over 30 on tap and the staff is very knowledgeable about each one. If it is just a couple of us, I like to sit at the bar and learn more about the brews they have on tap. There are plenty of tables for you sit and enjoy other people's company as well. They have some food offerings that looked pretty tempting, but I have not ordered food there yet. For me the vibe is great. It is lively but laid back. I was also impressed with how attentive, patient and friendly the staff was. Oak and Ore is a great place to hang out for awhile. I will be coming more often!
This is a great bar. A bit upscale, but always have good craft beer selection that changes a lot to include newer beers. You can get a flight of any number with any of the beers. Great whiskey selection and they have some craft drinks as well. Also, good food - tacos are my fave.
Good but a little pricey
This is my favorite places to drink in OKC! Prices are a bit high, but they have a phenomenal selection and the staff are super helpful!
Only had beer here so far, but great atmosphere.
This probably the best craft beer bar I've ever experienced (as a craft beer geek/enthusiast). They don't have a bazillion beers on tap like some other places but, the 36 they do have are absolute top of the line beers of varying styles from top of the line local, state and national brewers. The atmosphere is laid back and casual...in a word...easy. The place is clean, neat and charming (this may sound silly but some beer bars are ridiculously gross and disgusting) with the wood and steel. For food, we only sampled the biscuits and gravy and they were very good. We're very much looking forward to more visits. Wish Tulsa had a place like this :-(
Great selection of beers on tap. If you’re a fan of sour beers this is your place, they usually have sever to choose from. The food is great! The chicken biscuit is a must
Have to love this place. Something for everyone and bar tenders who want to help you find what you're into.
Great beer! Good pub food! Great service!!! A little loud sometimes and the beer is a little expensive. Especially sour beers... Whoa, so expensive...
The Korean BBQ is better then Korean BBQ at a Korean BBQ place.
Love the selection of beers here. They serve them in the correct glass and at the correct temperature too. Their beer board gives you the most information/data I've ever seen at a pub.
Every type of beer you can think of, great atmosphere, and food!
Chill place with dozens of crafts on tap that constantly rotate. In a nice part of town where you can bounce around as well. Lots of space and cool bartenders to give recommendations
My fav place to go in the plaza district
Best French Dip I have ever had.
Awesome food menu. Even more incredible beer selection. Love the atmosphere and decor. Cool place
Drinks were excellent. Food was just okay. Service was ok, sometimes difficult to get a drink at the bar like they ask due to no space at the bar. They really need servers checking tables or something.
Awesome craft beer selection. Good fancy urban food but a bit pricey. Impressive whiskey selection if that's your thing. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. One of my favorite pubs in the metro.
We love Oak & Ore! They have a great selection of craft beers and are committed to sourcing their menu from craft breweries. We are usually just drinking when we go, but the couple of times we've ordered food that's been excellent also.
Great little place with a huge selection. Staff was quick and very knowledgeable about the beer with good suggestions.
Fantastic beer selection that is constantly changing. Food is always good. It is primarily a bar, so don't bring kids because there's no kids menu or anything for them to do and their yelling reverberates and you can't hear anything but child screeches. Roxy's Ice cream is next door.
Seemed like a good happy hr though I wasn't informed of said HH. Ever. So I ordered a drink that I didn't really care for & then saw the HH drink menu with *exactly* everything I wanted. But too late
Great beer selection and the Ahi nachos are out of this world.
Good Tap List (Some Seasonal Beers, lots of flagship beers). Friendly Staff. Free Parking. Fast Service. Decent Prices. Overall Nice place
Fantastic selection of beers on tap. Delicious food. Fun place for drinks and dinner with friends.
The beers are great but seriously try the Cubano.
Fantastic beer list with 36 taps. Super friendly staff. They offer 4oz tastes of all their beers at the same price per ounce as a full size pour. If I lived in OKC I'd be here all the time.
Great staff and great atmosphere, they have weekly bar games and 36 beers on tap
Excellent beer and food
Yummy food with vegan and gluten-free options. Good craft beers.
Awesome beer and food selection. Fun place to have a beer
Really good beer! And the bartender was able to tell what I would like to drink! Would return!
Great selection of beers, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Best place to try local beers on tap.
This is a great place to visit. There is a lot of space inside and a TON of beer choices - a little something for everyone. I love the fact i can take my kids inside (as long as we don't sit at the bar) and we do so frequently, either to eat or while we're waiting for a table elsewhere. Either way you can't go wrong with a visit here.
I love the tacos here. Some of the best looking and tasting in the metro. These are a must when you come here. If not, try their take on a french dip. AMAZING!
Nice place for craft beer.
I am solely basing this review strictly on the food. The pictures posted for their food look and make it seem like this food would be off the hook. In this case it should be on a hook trying to catch fish or something. I ordered the French dip brisket. The brisket was dry. Like they heated back up with a microwave because it was hard to chew through. The au jois sauce was nasty. The only decent thing that I ordered were the fries. I felt bad sending back, but I was not paying for something like that. My buddies wanted to send their plates back as well. One buddy ordered the salmon and they leftthe skin on and under that skin was a nasty looking mush. The salmon was under cooked just by looking at it. I have to believe the only thing keeping this place open is their large variety of beer. Again these are just my own opinions and feel free to try for yourselves.
Great selection and friendly knowledgeable staff.
My favorite place! Great craft beer and nothing InBev in sight!
Huge selection of different beers that rotates all the time and the food is good.
WONDERFUL addition to an already popular district. A friend and I went to Oak & Ore for dinner. We started with the Soft Pretzel as an appetizer, which was perfection. The accompanying Beer Cheese was so good, we had to get some extra. For dinner, I ordered the Cubano sandwich (Black Forest Ham, Beer Braised Pulled Pork, House Made Pickles, Swiss Cheese, Toasted Baguette, minus the usual Mustard), with a side of fries. My friend ordered the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken and the HotTTT fries. She said eating these together made her meal quite spicier than expected, but she enjoyed both. Overall the atmosphere was great, the food was spectacular, and the prices were fair. HIGHLY recommend!!
Little expensive... service is really bad, don't expect to be greeted when you come in or sit at the bar. I've been ignored for up to 10 minutes multiple times. Food is excellent
Great food and drinks
Seeing that when they put ricotta, cheese, on their cheese pizza, heaven. I love ricotta, cheese. I love the New York slices, too.
Excellent spot for craft beer served the right way, at the right temp., in the right glass.
Small cozy place with delicious craft beer and amazing food! Staff was courteous & friendly as well. Will definitely be back!
The tile on the bar reminded me of a bath house, but definitely not a bad thing! The bar features over 30 taps with an assortment of different cocktails available as well. The bartenders have a vast knowledge of each of the beers and are quick to give recommendations based on your tastes. They even have recommendations on mixing certain beers to obtain the flavors you enjoy! I didnt eat but was able to skim the menu, seemed to be a good variety at reasonable prices.
The this place is amazing nice grown-up place for grown adults go to the people in there especially the worker
This place is very hip. Every employee was available to answer any and all questions. The beer menu on the wall was very informative. A variety of flavors and types of beer to choose from. The food menu we didn't get to really see what they had to offer. We sat down and they told us kitchen is closing in 5 if you want food hurry and order. No pressure there huh? What we did order was good. It also came out pretty quickly.
A great place for a beer and a bite. They have 32 taps featuring a variety of beers from Oklahoma and around the country. The food is excellent as well. I had the tacos and they were quite tasty. They come 3 to a plate so if you aren’t too hungry you could share them. We also had the Caesar salad which had a good dressing to it. You can try their beers in a 4 oz size which is great when you want to sample a number of things. I’d definitely go back.
Cool place awesome chorizo biscuits and gravy. Very well rounded beer selection.
Food not very good but very expensive.
Great place with with modern vibes!
I want to like this place because the are a ton of beers on tap that seem fun, but the last few times Ive been, the service was slow. It seems like they are always understaffed causing a lot of strain on the servers. The beer I got was very pricey as well when comparing to other locations.
One of my favorite bars in all of OKC! Great rotating beer selection, many of which are local. They have a chalkboard that lists about 35 or so beers. Info includes brewery, type, %, vol per serving, and price. They also offer sampling so you never end up purchasing a beer you dont like. The bar staff are incredibly knowledgeable about beer and have been able to answer every question I've presented. Their menu, although on the smaller side, is light years beyond traditional pub food, with a significant degree of artistry and quality.
This place has a great selection of beers and the food was great! It has a lot of cute shops around to visit after as well!
Really good rotation and selection of beers. Especially local. Haven't had much food there, but what I have had is really good. Bartenders are knowledgeable on the beers they serve and are usually pretty friendly.
Really enjoyed the ambiance and the ahi tuna nachos! They had a handful of great whiskeys and a petite but good wine list in addition to their expansive beer selection. Really friendly staff with some dense beer knowhow. Free parking next door. Cute shops all around and a yoga studio right across the street!
Probably my favorite drink establishment in OKC. (I say "drink establishment" because "bar" does not do this place justice.) Excellent selection and atmosphere. I've been here for brunch, late night drinks, dates, and business meetings—this place is great for all occasions.
Pricey hipster joint with a fantastic beer selection and food that's trying to hard.
One of the best beer lists in the city. Highly recommended. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Food list is short but is quialtu and has everything you need. A must do for craft beer lovers.
Friendly people, good service, excellent selection.
Not the great service... Not too friendly, not too welcoming. It's below average. I wish it could improve because it has so much potential.
Always a good range of beers in good condition.
Excellent beer selection and food was awesome
Such a good time with so many beer options. Can’t get better than that.
Fantastic beer!
I wasn't very impressed with this place. My husband and sister loved the beers here. I am not a pale ale drinker. I prefer a lighter beer and there were really none to be had. We ordered fried okra. It was good. Had a flour batter. I perfer a corn meal batter.
The Press Blackberry Hibiscus Hard Seltzer is spot on! We stopped here for drinks while we were waiting to eat. My friend and I wanted a low calorie drinks & they did not disappoint!
Excellent food and a large selection of craft beers. Just a great place to chill.
Had a really good time here. Lots of beers available, even the less common sours I love. The plaza district can be a bit cramped, but we came fairly early so it wasn't super busy. The food was good, too. The street tacos we're good, but I really liked the nachos best. Definitely recommend taking your time here to try out the different beers that you likely won't find at other places.
Great beer selection with excellent food.
Super good food. Super nice staff. Place felt a little drafty. I enjoyed the food.
Great beer selection. Prices on the high side. Waitress still learning about beer. Couldn't tell us much more than "that's #3"
One of the best places to try new beers. I highly recommend doing 4oz samplers of your choices. You can try way more this way and really explore their vast (36+ beers) options. Great appetizers made for two people-nachos and beer pretzel are a big win for me! Cool atmosphere, large tables great for bigger groups, and easy to walk in an find seating. Beautifully decorated-minimal and modern. Music got slightly loud-a bit hard to converse across the table, but it was a Friday night!
Great craft beer, tasty craft fare and amazing people!
Great place to sample a bunch of great beers at once, with over 30 taps almost always active. The menu is simple but delicious, the cubano is my personal favorite.
Everything on the menu is excellent from Korean BBQ or Bahn Mi, to Cubano or French Dip. 36 rotating kegs of craft beers, often obscure but also many classics. Great atmosphere and better service. Eli is the best!
Excellent rotation of craft beer, served by great wait staff. The food is quite satisfying as well. While a little pricey, it is a nice venue to enjoy a variety of fascinating beers.
Stopped in on a business trip at the recommendation of a local and found it to be outstanding. Great selection of beer for any taste. You will find something you'll love. Had the steak for dinner and it was stupendous. My co-worker wasn't going to eat, but upon seeing the steak and my reaction, ordered it too and loved it as well. You won't be disappointed.
Out of several beers I wanted to try, but the bartender was helpful in finding and recommending others.
Nice that have added food. 2 years since my last visit. Won't be that long next time.
Awesome selection of beers on tap and they change all the time so you can try a new selection each time you go. You can also ask to taste ones. I tried 3 before picking a rich stout.
Awesome tap list with plenty of local and interesting beers. Nice cocktails, too.
The most curated set of beer taps in Oklahoma City.
I went on a Tuesday evening, very inadequate service. Staff are slow and did not address me at all. Decent amount of beer on draft; most are stout and IPA. The reason this place does well is because of where it is located.
36 Taps of amazing beer, wine, and a talented bar! Staff was super friendly and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Not to mention, who doesn't like tasting beer!
Great place with great food and craft beers
Great food at a reasonable price. The chicken honey biscuits are awesome.
Great beer selection
Friendly beer hub. Localities of beer aren't listed which I always want, but otherwise l wide selection. Board games and food available. Flight sizes available for all.
Oak & ore is like the trendy version of Patriarch so expect slightly higher beer prices. Otherwise they have a great selection with 36 beers to chose from. Also some high end cocktails (all around $10). Overall it's a good place to have a drink.
This place is AWESOME!!! They let you sample beers, the servers were so friendly! I would recommend Prairie Standard for a light, delicious beer!
Excellent selection of high quality beers. A bit pricey but well worth it if you like good beer.
Really nice atmosphere! Would have been nice if they opened earlier though.
Just had nacho appetizer for lunch it was very tasty. Service was ok
Their home made chips are to die for!
Best place to try new beers and the service is always great.
They care about your allergy and over all health. They will check with you before serving you anything. Great service and lovely food.
Great beer selection but the food was just OK. The steak nachos needed more steak and the Cubano sandwich was Americanized. Oklahoma is too far from Florida, sorry. I'll come back for the beer but get some pizza nearby.
Absolutely amazing place, super delicious food, fantastic selection of beers on tap, great friendly staff. Please do yourself a favor and visit Oak & Ore!
Good spot to meet with friends. 2 TVs there with sports on. Music playing. Bar tenders are nice. A TON of beer to choose from. Their tapas are good.
