The singular best meal I have had in my entire life (which includes Michelin-starred restaurants). My girlfriend and I came up to OKC for Memorial day weekend and had the fixed 10 course dinner at Nonesuch with wine pairings. I genuinely don't have enough good things to say about our experiences there. From what we understand, Nonesuch is hyperseasonal, so it's likely that the menu is already entirely different than what we had, but I have enough faith in this kitchen staff to guarantee it is superb. Every bite was tremendous. From the mushroom crepe with field greens, to the bison tartare, to the sous vide egg and black garlic (which I will be unsuccessfully attempting to recreate for years), each dish was unique, fresh, thoughtfully composed, and utterly delicious. Secondly, the portion sizes were perfect. Sometimes, volunteering for 10 courses can put you on your back and make you miserable. Not here. We both left extremely happy and already planning our next trip back. We live three hours away, and honestly I'd make the drive back to OKC just to go to Nonesuch. Could not reccommend more highly.
Amazing culinary experience
I feel torn about this place. But unfortunately I don’t believe it lived up to the hype. Atmosphere and vibe were cool. It was clean. Staff were great and knowledgeable. Fantastic presentation. Very interesting and adventurous food creations. Execution was amazing. It was a cool experience. Music didn’t seem very well suited for the experience. Staff didn’t really engage with us when we first sat down or got started. I left pretty hungry and I’m not a big meal eater. And for the money and being named best new restaurant in America, I expected more. I can super appreciate what they’ve accomplished, the uniqueness of their endeavor and their contributions to improving OKC and the culinary scene here. I think it’s definitely worth trying if your adventurous and looking a for a unique food experience.
From the moment we first spoke about our destination wedding, Nico had a remarkable vision for our special day. There are not enough great words to write about not only the end result, but working with him was an extraordinary experience. His level of creativity and attention to detail really came alive in our shoots and he became much more than our photographer, but our creative director for the entire event and also a close friend. We will cherish our photos and our experience with him forever! We cannot recommend this dynamic team enough. Any couple would be lucky to work with them and should feel confident trusting them to produce outstanding work!
An incredible food experience. To have anything comparable, you would have to travel internationally. I don't know if Michelin awards stars in the United States, but if they do, their stars are on the way, for sure. If you are a foodie, it is not to be missed.
Best meal ever. EVER!!!
Always awesome food! Definitely a rare gem to have in okc.
Keep up the great work!
Ridiculous. Best food experience you could have in OKC.
Amazing experience. Seating was bar styoe and the menu was fixed and was a multi course meal. All the courses we're small, enough for a bite or two - which allowed you to appreciate each course. If you're a big eater however you might feel unsatisfied.
Really special experience. Don't be too hungry, servings are tiny.
We arrived at Nonesuch on a Wednesday with advanced reservations for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed a 12 course tasting menu. Everything was mind blowingly delicious and service was impeccable yet relaxed. Its a small, sophisticated space where everyone communally dines at a large 'U' shaped bar. Each dish is brought by out & explained by one of the chefs. During our experience we actually got to interact & ask questions of each one. This was a highlight. a sample of the dishes served on our night were bison steak w/peach chimmichurri, cold corn chowder, caviar w/goat cheese sorbet and fried chicken skin w/liver pate. Keep in mind that the menu is constantly changing and what you get will vary from week-to-week. Your meal can also be served with a selection of wine tastings. It's strictly optional. The space is modern & tasteful without feeling sterile. There are a few things to remember: While they do take walk-ins reservations are highly recommended. As I mentioned this space only fits about 20. It's a tasting menu so don't expect normal portions. Each course is about 3-5 bites. Be prepared to spend. This place isn't cheap. You pay a flat fee of about $90 a person. More if you opt for the wine tastings. For better or worse gratuity (they call it a "service fee") is included. I didn't mind as the service was amazing & the staff shockingly unpretentious. Not trying to throw shade but we didn't know what to expect considering the upscale environs. The staff were friendly yet still restrained. Service never felt forced which can sometimes be a problem at upscale places. Overall it was an impressive experience we won't soon forget. Can recommend this space for special occasions. Thank you Nonesuch for making this birthday a special one.
Really enjoyed the meal at Nonesuch. Every bite was delicious and every detail impeccable. The service was wonderful and attentive. Looking forward to finding a time to go back soon!
Nonesuch was such an amazing experience! The food was impeccable and extremely well done. The plates were beautifully presented and tasted even better. The food is sourced locally and it shows in the quality of ingredients. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We have more reservations coming up and are really excited!
I have had Michelin food that was not as good a few times. Some that was better, but more importantly some that was worse. OKC is lucky af to have this. If they were in a Michelin region they would be in contention. Anything above this level is usually just theatrics imho
Had a amazingly varied meal! Great drinks and wonderful service. Bon Appetit got it right.
Amazing experience, the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. It was a great “fancy night out” for my significant other and I. The wine pairings were great, we just did the cheaper one and it was amazing. We would do it again but it is definitely something to do for a special occasion outing.
Wonderful
A unique and memorable experience. Tasting menu.
I'm not gonna talk about the food, because their reputation is already set. I want to mention their terrific service. If you aren't familiar with the setup of the restaurant, everybody sits around a bar. Unfortunately less than a week before my reservations, I had a traumatic leg injury. One of my first concerns was making it to this place, so my wife communicated with the nonesuch team about the situation and they were fantastic. They had a separate table set up for me to sit at where I was comfortable. Multiple people came by to ensure this was the case and seemed to be genuinely interested in my well-being. The food was also magnificent. What they can create and put on your plate is mind-blowing. But I will always remember the way they treated me
Nonsuch’s tasting menu is a great adventure to say the least. The presentation, service, and staff are fantastic to say the least. Some courses worked great while others fell short. The experience was nice but the portions are quite small. You will definitely go grab some food after this tasting menu.
Best meal I have ever had. So much thought and creativity in every dish. We made another reservation while still at the restaurant!
Great new place, food is like nothing else in the city.

Great Place
How can you not give this place 5-stars?

If you disregard the $ and concentrate on the food menu and offerings its a great time. The people and the service are also what made the dining experience special.
One of the best meals and experiences I've ever had! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is amazing!
An absolutely amazing meal!!
Fantastic ... Just go eat here!
Really cool experience. Food was.... interesting. Glad we tried it.
Congrats for being number 1 in the country's top 10 Bon Epetite Magazine!! Haven't tried the restaurant yet but will this weekend for sure. Great job guys!!
I'm not sure where to start. All I can really say is it was a mind blowing experience. I'm not a wine person and I'd highly recommend the wine pairing. It added greatly to the experience. The staff and chefs were all top notch. I will be back.
Great place. Smiling faces. AWESOME food!!
Amazing atmosphere, food and service. Highly recommend.
Greatest meal of my life. Definitely get the wine pairing option. Amazing experience.
Definitely for the adventerous. I enjoyed the experience. A little more detail on the dishes being served would be nice. I would definitely do this again.
Amazing experience
So different from any restaurant experience I have ever had. Very classy.
Outstanding. Nothing else can be said.
Best meal I have ever had. So much thought and creativity in every dish. We made another reservation while still at the restaurant!
Nonesuch offers a delicious tasting menu featuring locally sourced ingredients! The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was exceptional.
We dined at Nonesuch last evening and were blown away by the amount of effort they went to in creating visually stunning micro dishes. Unfortunately, most of the courses lacked depth of flavor and they were tiny. We felt like we spent way too much money for a tiny amount of food.
Not sure where else in the county you can get such a creative tasting menu for such a great price. The non alcoholic beverage pairing is super fun.
This is by far the best food in Oklahoma city. The experience is a little unique in that you don't choose what you'll be eating. The only real option is vegetarian or standard. But wow the chefs and servers at Nonesuch will take you on a culinary adventure that you will not soon forget. The wine pairing is delicious and perfectly compliments the courses. My only regret is I can't eat here every night.
I went to the Nov 2018 course. Absolutely delicious. The flavor profile ranged to familiar all the way to foreign. Irregardless, each bite was delicious! Will come here again. The menu changes around so I look forward to the new menu.
One of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had. The food is great, but you must be an adventurous eater. Don’t waste your money if you’re not going to try something based on the name. Very innovative presentations and flavors. Wine pairings were a B+. Hit on most of the pairings but toward the end went a little off course. Servers were all very nice and competent. However, most were uninformed as to what they were presenting and may have not tasted any of the food. The food runners/chefs did know about the food, but they mumbled their presentations a lot so many of the guests were left guessing as to what we were eating. Overall, a wonderful experience. Going back soon. Excited about the next time!
Made me cry. The perfect combo of the local and global.
We had a great experience, the food was amazing, the service was fantastic
Fun and delicious. Delicious and fun
Incredible food, incredible experience. I'm blown away every time I go.
A true culinary adventure!
What an experience. Omg.
Creative, inventive, surprising, intriguing, tasty, complex flavors, served on ice, on a warm rock, with flower petals, in beautiful blue pottery, or on a shared plate for couples ... a lovely dining experience. Fun non-alcoholic drink pairings available in elegant glasses. 12 tasting courses but only a few excellent bites each, so not too overwhelming. The mushroom broth with beet oil and persimmon oil was so flavorful and comforting and welcoming. The oyster mushroom porridge made me want to hug the pretty crockery afterward. The canteloupe sorbet was the most perfect canteloupe flavor I've ever tasted. And on and on.
Not just dinner, it's a food experience. For everyone who watches the foodie shows like chef's table and wants to experience local ingredients used to thier full potential this is about the best you are going to get in Oklahoma. The chefs here do an amazing job of utilizing what Oklahoma has to offer and present it in a way that is artistic and satisfying. Feed your inner foodie, and check out nonesuch. Update: Bon Appetit just confirmed that not only is it you best bet in OK but in the US. Congratulations on #1 new restaurant in the US!
I loved the decor and feel of the restaurant as a whole. Both earthy and modern at the same time. Disclaimer: I visited Nonesuch a while ago, so the menu is different now. The first course was a mushroom broth with a puffed mushroom skewer. This was one of my favorites of the night. The broth was super flavorful and the puffed mushrooms...I've never experienced that texture before. I didn't care for the cucumber, fritter, and sourdough waffle course. It was just meh. I also didn't like the potato with caviar and yolk sauce. The flavor combinations were too different; fishy and eggy and earthy potato...nope. The oyster mushroom custard was tasty. The crumbles on top reminded me of dehydrated sauerkraut, which really elevated the dish. The chicken liver mousse and ricotta tarts were DELICIOUS. The pastry shell alone...I could eat trays and trays of it. So good.
Wonderful experience with delicious food and service. The atmosphere was very unique and enjoyable. I've heard it's difficult to get reservations since the article was written about them. My husband and I went for our anniversary in September and paid $75 a dinner, without beverages.
We dined at Nonesuch last evening and were blown away by the amount of effort they went to in creating visually stunning micro dishes. Unfortunately, most of the courses lacked depth of flavor and they were tiny. We felt like we spent way too much money for a tiny amount of food.
Meh
Made a special trip from DFW, TX area to Oklahoma City just to eat at Nonesuch. It sure was worth the trip. This restaurant serves an amazing chefs tasting menu that would be at home in some of the world's best food cities. It was also written up in Bon Appetite Magazine as the best new restaurant in the US for 2018. One note, you have to buy tickets in advance and they usually sell out the day they go on sale. Check their website for details.
I was very leary going into the evening, but the food a lovely staff exceeded my expectations.
You should eat here no noubt. It's an experience.
You have to go and experience this for yourself.
This place is AMAZING!!! Fantastic courses with the perfect wine pairings. We will be visiting them again soon. OKC is lucky to have a place like this. Such creativity. If you haven't been here, you need to reserve your spot!
Nonesuch- How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach, When feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace. I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right. I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love thee with the passion put to use.... I mean...what words do I use? How do I say how much I loved this place? NYC style and class meets OKC hospitality meets Encyclopedia level knowledge and expert skill... I mean...these are my people. The food, the service, the quality, the depth, the brea...these are my people. Go. Just go. The only people that wont like Nonesuch are those that find fault in literally everything. The price is justified. Also, DEFINITELY do the 12 course AND the wine pairing. Worth every penny.
If you get a chance to eat at Nonesuch, do it. The food was phenomenal and the wine pairings were so impressive (and I don't usually like wine). I also got to try some of the non-alcoholic pairings and if you aren't into wine, that pairing is worth it too.
Lovely experience with Todd and the management team.
Friendly staff, very informative, excellent wine pairings, and above all some of the best food I've had in a long time.
Not sure where else in the county you can get such a creative tasting menu for such a great price. The non alcoholic beverage pairing is super fun.
The staff and presentation was amazing! Unfortunately, we found the unique twists on the food to be insufficient for our appetites and had to go to another restaurant afterwards.
After hearing the hype and reading the bon a petit review, I knew that I needed to take advantage of the coming reservation booking window.I booked my first tasting in March and got a date in April. Spring had hit the OKC metro and the menu reflected a spring time bloom of products. The menu was intriguing and while the ingredients are all locally sourced,
Wow! What a delicious experience! I’m from Oklahoma but am currently living in Korea... I tell you this - I will make sure I start figuring out how to book a reservation months in advance the next time we visit our family. I can’t wait to go back!
Very Modern and high professional. Such a great Food just awesome. Very friendly stuff and professional. Nice Decoration and Comfort. Conclusion: Clear Recommendation for an visit.
This place is fantastic the food is large enough for two people. But it taste to good to share. The meat, the bun, the cheese and the mayo are all special to Nic's and it does make a difference!
Lived up to and beyond the hype. Fell in love as soon as I walked into this out of the ordinary masterpiece. The music set the tone right off the back. Put you in the mood for something spectacular. The butternut squash sorbet with yogurt and chill pepper was out of this world. (Paired with Pinot Gris from Willamette made me speechless.) Not a desert by any means, actually served before the bison, which was cooked to perfection. Between the staff, to the food, ambiance and wine pairing, it felt like a journey I can’t wait to do again. Anticipating my return. Thank you Nonesuch.
Wonderful experience
I’ve never been so amazed by food. I’ve never felt an emotion while eating. This is beyond a beautiful place with passion showing in the food. The service was on point, and very friendly. This place makes you feel proud to be in Oklahoma.
The most interesting, innovative, intelligent food I've had in years! We drove from Dallas, read about the restaurant for months, and they did not disappoint. Worth every minute of the drive and then some. Chefs are doing amazing things here, and we applaud their creativity and attention to detail. 5+ stars!
This may have been the best meal of my life. The tasting menu was mostly exceptional with a few dishes that were done well (but could have easily been ruined in other restaurants). The wine pairings were fantastic; my wife is not a huge wine drinker, and she enjoyed most of them. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
So cool. Indescribable & delicious, well thought out and unlike any other meal & wine tasting I’ve ever experienced.
the food is the best i have had in a while
Nonesuch was great! We had 12 small plate courses and they were all delicious. For each course, a chef would come out and explain the dish. The wait staff were great and the wine pairing was awesome. It was about 2 courses for every glass with heavy pours. You can also buy water when you make your reservation - it was pretty good but they also have tap available if you don’t buy in advance.
When you walk in you realize that there is a hugely-shaped table with bar chairs. They are comfy bar chairs and the hostess has to push you in. The ambience is warehouse-chic-kitchen-y (I made this up - lol). The food is the art, there are herbs hanging from the ceiling. The walls except for the verbs are completely empty and austere. They have two wine pairings: a reserve and a standard. Each of us chose a different one. Each dish is small but flavorful. I must say I loved them all. They started with a cheese soup. Then they had bacon on a waffle on a stone. Too good. The creativity is excellent. There were several items that I wished we had had the option to have seconds. For example, the tart with chicken liver was to die for! But alas, no such luck.
There was plenty of great food. It was a very pleasant environment and the experience was out of this world.
Amazing! Exceptional experience.
We came with expectations because of everything I heard or read about nonesuch and my experience went beyond them. The food was fantastic and the staff amazing. I told them ahead of time after I booked our experience that I am vegetarian and they made sure I was having a good experience as well. We will definitely come again soon.
Wow! What a delicious experience! I’m from Oklahoma but am currently living in Korea... I tell you this - I will make sure I start figuring out how to book a reservation months in advance the next time we visit our family. I can’t wait to go back!
Nonesuch, is a not so-unknown gem in OKC, having been ranked the #1 best new restaurant by Bon Apetit and having reservation blocks gone in a matter of minutes. That said, this space is a culinary and experiential treat tucked away in a non-descript brick building with just small lettering indicating it's hidden fame. The 10 course meal and wonderfully curated wine pairings are delectable. From the "Snack Attack" course to the final dessert course, every bite was a new discovery of flavor. The presentation was a foray into beautiful minimalism and very well coordinated with the spring flowers used for decoration and tiny bites of floral heaven. Can't wait to go back at different seasons to see what the Chef and staff have awaiting plating!
What an amazing experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. Everything was fresh and delicious and made me see food in a new way.
Very Modern and high professional. Such a great Food just awesome. Very friendly stuff and professional. Nice Decoration and Comfort. Conclusion: Clear Recommendation for an visit.
Such an amazing experience. Every course was better than the last.
Easily worth the price of entry.
Best experience. Everyone is overly educated on local sources that combine together to make an unforgettable tasting over 8+ courses.
I had an incredible date here. We got the wine package with the meal, and I definitely recommend it. The food was simple and impactful. Our date was around December and I’m still haunted by the menu. I keep the menu from that night tucked away in a drawer and look at it and fantasize about the orange bell pepper sorbet, and leek pancake. If you want to pretend you’re in Chef’s Table, or want to see what the Louvre would taste like (if the Louvre Museum could be food) go here and experience ART. Drink, eat, and be merry y’all.
