I just did not enjoy this restaurant, sadly. I didn't enjoy the food or the atmosphere. The food was just not hot enough for it to take about 30 mins to be served and it seemed like they were running out of things, didn't have lasagna and was told by the waiter that they were low on bread so he brought us 2 which i appreciated but still, come onnnn. I felt like i spent too much for a meal I took a couple of bites from and put in the fridge that I did not eat. I guess I could have saved them a to go box! I was so ready to go because of the amount of time everything took. I wouldn't go here again.

The Italian cake was good, but if you order to go be prepared to wait much longer than the time given to you by the website. I am making this review negative entirely on the bases that I waited 45 minutes for that cake, which is embarrassing to even admit.

I stopped in for carryout. Staff got the order ready quickly. I checked the order and it was right first time! When I got home, and we ate dinner, it was delicious!

My professional group of 25 held our monthly lunch and lecture session here. We had very nice choices for each person to decide among salad type, entree and drink. The staff were very attentive, bringing your 2nd course out piping hot only after you finished your salad. For the pull apart bread loaves, there were dipping plates of olive oil and cracked peppercorn. I loved the spicy eggplant parmesan. Hope we come again sometime, and might include one seafood choice -- e.g. 3 or 4 medium to small pieces of shrimp.

This is a very good Italian restaurant. The place is always neat and clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the service is fast. If you like a good Italian meal, this is a great place to come. They have all kinds of Italian dishes all kinds of pastas and all kinds of sauces if you know what Italian food is, then you'll know that this is good stuff. Come on by and dig in.

I hadn't been here in years, so I decided to give it another try. The service was 4 star, but the food was 1 star (very bland and surprising for Italian) and we could see how dirty the kitchen was from our table. 1 star for that as well. That averages to a 2 star rating. Unless there is a big change with this place, we will never be back.

Service was extremely slow. Tons of Empty tables and it took 30 minutes to get seated. They had a 1.65 beer special which was nice, but our waitor wasn't very polite. He was also the only bartender there and he was serving food to tables which was odd. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive after ordering. The bread was okay, seemed pretty fresh. The food however, was extremely bland. And the pasta was overcooked. I ordered the chicken Romano which is a spicy dish, but it tasted like a frozen meal. Very disappointed and I will not be returning. The only reason I went was because I had a gift card.

This was the first time I ever came in this restaurant and the food was real Italian and their plates were very delicious, my first plate was the spicy shrimp and lobster with lemonade, the sides like garlic bread and salads or soup were very delicious too so I just wanted to say that appreciate to these people in this place they had me into a great service and order and my pleasure to come to this place and try any plate and drink I ever wanted. We used this Johnny Carino's as the caterer for our wedding. This was the first caterer that we scheduled a tasting with. Before attending the tasting, we weren't super thrilled with the other catering places we had sampled at different bridal shows and open houses. When you go to the tasting with Tara, go HUNGRY!!! We were expecting little samples, but we were given full plates. The food was exquisite! Tara explained every aspect of the catering process and the decisions we had to make. She even matched the plastic plates and plastic utensils to our wedding colors! She even wrapped the utensils with a napkin and tied a ribbon that matched our colors around it. The process was very easy! We were able to select different options, and Tara helped us to remember to be aware of different diets people require. On our wedding day, I barely noticed their team! Everyone at our wedding was full and happy! Tara was SO GREAT to work with!!! She even took pictures of our wedding, our decor, and our food and posted it to their Facebook page! That made us feel so special and appreciated!

I give FIVE stars to the cook, the food was great, hot, so delicious, We will go back and try it once more, but get a different waiter, ours was in a bad mood, and he could only handle one table at a time, ( over kill on one table, forget the rest in his section) we didn't leave any tip for him, but went up and gave tips to the cooks) the hostess was very nice, she gave us cheese on our salads and napkins, and refilled our drinks. His name was Justin. ( Don't ask for him)

Wonderful gluten free food!! The manager made my meal himself to ensure there was no cross contamination. They had gf pasta and bread (pita style). I asked for a few modifications to my meal, and it turned out perfectly! I'm so glad I now have a safe and delicious place to get Italian food!!

Normally I love coming here but I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs something I've never had from here before it was absolutely terrible. The meatballs weren't seasoned at all except for the sauce which tasted like a watered down jar of Ragu. I definitely will never ever order this dish again.

We went Saturday night, the 28th. We were a table.of five. Took almost ten minutes for our waiter to.come.get our drink order. Another ten minutes to get the drinks. Then another ten minutes for him to come back and take our food order. When the food arrived, two dishes came out. It took about ten minutes for another two pasta dishes. The last of our party's order came fifteen minutes later. It was a salad, which by this time, the first two people were almost done with their food. The food was lukewarm, the chicken and shrimp in the pasta dishes especially didn't taste like they were very hot. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I didn't want to say anything to our waiter to ruin the mood even more so. But we were very disappointed tonight. This place has really gone downhill the last few years.

Consistently the best lasagne in town. But tonight was super loud, and not because of the patrons. There was a very loud repetitive bang noise coming from the kitchen, and then it was as if they turned the music up to cover the kitchen noise! It was impossible to hold a conversation. Kind of disappointing for a night out with my husband.

Took us 3 tries to come out with some edible Italian nachos (to go). First, they came out as dry stale chips with no cheese sauce (they said they didn't want the chips to get soggy), then they dumped some luke warm sauce on top and gave them to us, the 3rd time we finally got some freshly made nachos that were good. But having to try 3 times to get what should've been good the first time was ridiculous.

My friend and I decided to give this Carino's try since we love the one in Yukon. Everything was going swell until the food arrived. I got my usual of Italian Nachos with chicken. I began to eat my food and immediately tasted something "off". I then began to investigate the chicken and it just seemed to be undercooked, almost raw even. When we told our waiter he apologized and offered to get our checks. There was no offer to make things better. Just "sorry you didn't like it, ready to leave" is how it felt. Take this review however you want... maybe stay away from the chicken.

Went there last night and my son and I ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Only found 3 small, thin pieces of chicken that cost us $3 extra just for the chicken. Price was too high. Total price for 2 meals was $38. Ridiculous!!!

The wedge.salad was great but only.the bottom.of a wedge. So like half a wedge.A lot of money for small amount of salad . Nachos I wouldnt order again . it was very loud had to yell to talk to.people but nice waitress and salad was tasty but not worth buying . Pasta with artichoke looked great but artichokes had sharp pieces in them had to pick out. The other pasta dishes were good. Would say room for improvement. Bit pricey for salad. Price okay for pasta .I guess

It's a standard Italian fare restaurant. I do not always like the flavor profiles of their food. However, the spicy marinara recipe recently changed and is a great addition to any dish. Mozzarella sticks and baked potato soup were a hit. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Good for family-style dining.

I gave it a three star because beyond tonight every experience we've had there has been good. Tonight was a bit rough. We got in after an accurately quoted 10 minute wait, they had open tables so it was obvious the kitchen or servers were struggling/understaffed since they had a wait going. We ordered our meals at the same time as drinks, drinks only took a couple minutes, same with bread. App took about 10 minutes, salads about 15, after an hour passed we still had no entrees. We were told by the server that they had a big top, that was seated after us, that they were preparing meals for and then they'd get us. since we had three kids under 3 we decided to pay for our apps and drinks and leave at this point. A manager stopped by at one point said he was sorry it was taking so long and immediately walked away. Overall not a great experience, we had brought family who had never been, and it's likely they won't return. We will probably choose Olive garden next time.

Underwhelming comfort food experience. I went with wife and a close friend and we were not offered any drinks, one plate was missing the sauce altogether, and the other two were incredibly bland. We chose JC to avoid the crowd at Olive Garden, but they dropped the ball big time. The waiter was very curt and borderline rude, so that did not help at all.
