I have been to this place at least three times and it has been a pleasurable experience. Customer service is excellent and cashier comes out and busses tables. This last time is the first time I ate in. Food sizes are not the same as fast food but this food is really good and tastes better than fast food.i wish there was one in Midwest City. It takes me 45 minutes to get there from where I live; southeast side.

Fantastic chicken. I had the barbecue chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Although, this won't make it much farther in Oklahoma since it is originally from Texas and everything burnt orange.

Absolutely excellent. Wonderful food, definitely fresh, you can literally watch the chicken be cooked. The sandwich I got, the Laredo Chicken Ssndwhich, had juicy meat, perfect amounts of condiments that prevented it all over spilling and covering my hands. No drips or anything, its was absolutely the perfect sandwich with the most amazing fried okra. Excellent workers also, all very nice and informative.

The chicken "strips" are the size of your finger, and too salty. The buttermilk ranch dressing had good flavor, but was too salty! The special honey Awesome sauce was good, but too salty...and the twice baked potatoes were flavorless. This was return visit hoping the last one was a fluke, it wasn't. Won't be back.

Thought it would be better. Got the chicken salad which was 9 bucks 12 with a drink. Was expecting the chicken to be a little smokier. The chicken was barely above room temperature. The girl that was not very friendly at least not to me.. She seemed to be more interested in flirting with another lady.. Over all wasn't impressed...took about 10 mins to get the food... Skip it...

I saw good reviews about Cowboy Chicken and decided to give them a go. People were ranting and raving about how good the rotisserie chicken was and also how they had the best baked macaroni and cheese ever. Here is what I ordered: A whole rotisserie chicken Side of cream spinach Side of baked macaroni and cheese Peach Cobbler The rotisserie had good flavor but was very dry. It was disappointing because for something to have such a good flavor, whats the point if it taste like drywall. The cream spinach was the star of the show. Creamy and wholesome. The Baked Mac and Cheese was like a good story with a bad ending. The initial bite was good, but it had a soapy after taste. This was the worst baked mac and cheese I have EVER had. Last but no least was the homemade peach cobble. This is the perfect dessert if you want to have a sugar rush. Too sweet but the crust was tasty. EAT AT YOUR RISK!

Angela was amazing to work with on catering for a recent event. The food was healthy and tasted amazing and the total cost to cater my event was so reasonable and a lot less than many other catering options. Everything was FRESH! Angela really works with the client to customize and offer options to save you money. We had enough to feed everyone twice if not more. The green beans were the best I’ve ever tasted in my life. We also had the kale,Brussels Sprouts and cabbage slaw. Also amazing. And of course the rotisserie chicken was delicious! Excellent!!! I will use them to cater in the future as well as picking up food for small groups and takeout.

My family and I decided to order from this restaurant on grubhub and give it a try since we've never been there. When we receive our food they gave me the wrong side than what I put down that I wanted. No problem the food was good until my 2 year old woke up at 2am throwing up everything he ate. I woke up the next morning and I had the same symptoms throwing up, horrible stomach pains so I made an appt with my doctor and sure enough it was food poisoning. My husband got sick as well. Whatever you do don't eat here something is not right with the food.

No sauces out for chicken! Like why not? Was not impressed. Paid extra for texas size, one side was half filled. I expected different sauces for chicken, nope they cost if you want sauce. Cashier had big attitude, I asked if they had any more watermelon tea in back, she said nope. I then asked if she could make some (a customer should never have to come up with a solution when product needs restocked) she then said she would check, and went on to ring up next person, saying nothing about tea. Rang up next customer, when she brought my take out I asked if she was going to get watermelon tea made, she just walked off, and then went and got someone to make it. She also had taken a call in order and was holding phone out, huffing and rolling eyes to whoever on phone. Obviously put off to work, chicken was ok, overpriced for what they give, and big time attitude from one of employees, I will take my chicken from sprouts from now on. Watermelon tea was the only thing i give 5 stars too. But nothing special about chicken

Lunch special was a laughable portion of chicken, but at least it tasted good. The sides were an okay amount but the twice backed potatoes were flavorless. Asked for salt at the counter and the cashier says "There's not any out there?" "No, I looked" "Oh we're probably out or somethin" Seriously? A restaurant with no salt? And she couldn't even pretend to go look for some? Get it together y'all.

Y'all better stop sleeping on Cowboy chicken. The food here is so good & the customer service is excellent (especially for a quick service restaurant). If you sign up for the app, you'll have a reward or discount every time you go in; they often pop up when you open the app in store. It's crazy, but awesome. They sent me a free meal AND a $3 off coupon for my birthday. When I went to claim my free meal, they didn't limit my selections & gave me a free large drink in a reusable cup. I picked the Monterey salad which was so good- that chili lime dressing was bomb & whoever decided to put chicken cracklings on it should get a medal. I usually will buy a whole roast chicken from here, and they'll cut it up for you if you wish. It's always so juicy and well seasoned. Their sweet tea is also amazing & in the perfect southern style. I could go on and on. My only complaint is that it's not near my house. Though really, this is probably better for me in the long run, lol.

I felt like I was served scraps told the guy i ordered a thigh he said that was it. LoL so i thought to my self well the pictures looked better then this then asked if he could remake it he walked away 20 minutes later I finally walked to the counter and asked for my thigh he started ringing up another one lol next time ill just go to Sams Club or Crest for better chicken and service.

Very disappointed in the food. This was the first time eating here and probably the last. We ordered the whole chicken and it was the smallest chicken I have ever seen. It also seemed like it had been sitting under the heat lamp all day. Very dry. Would have hoped for a more pleasant experience with this being a new restaurant.

Enchiladas here are flavorful and delicious, although I expected them to be larger than they were. They could also have used a bit more spice but still good. Baked Mac and Cheese was cheesy and delicious. Never had corn fritters before but they're basically fried corn nuggets, good but kind of bland. I dipped them in the enchilada sauce and that helped. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I'd come back. Service was fast and workers were friendly and helpful.

I went for the first time this last week with my wife and five children. Everyone loved it! Kids all want this to be frequent on our rotation. First, the food is simply excellent. Roasted chicken (not fried), amazing mash potatoes, fresh green beans, etc. The food was fresh and just excellent. Second, the manager was also very accommodating and made sure our entire crew was served and taken care of. The inside is clean and fun. They can run out of chicken because they have to try and gauge how much they need to roast since each chicken takes 2 hours to roast. This means it is fresh.

I had the enchiladas and felt they were just a little bit greasy but I really want to give them a second chance because I went right after they opened. The concept is very neat.

Customer service was fantastic! The traditional Cowboy sandwich was decent. While the chicken was cooked to perfection, only having lettuce and tomato with the sauce was a tad disappointing. Adding a pickle and some red onion would vastly improve this.

A good smoked chicken restaurant with the comfort food sides in a modern dude ranch atmosphere. It is good food but the top of my list. This location is situated by Canes and a Chick fil A. I prefer the other options over this one for price and food.

Gluten free ask for garden salad. It's awesome. Bring your own dressing if need to. Huge salad and very filling. They will make how you ask. I substitute ingredients and they don't mind at all.

I ordered a sandwich, can't remember the name of it, and I can't find it on the menu online, but it was delicious! I tried the bbq chicken sandwich and enchiladas as well. Everything was great except their "nearly famous" sweet tea. I can see why it's not "actually famous." It was hot and watered down and barely sweet. I was unimpressed with their cobblers as well. But they definitely do great chicken!

The Laredo Sandwich is very good. The chicken is very tender. There was an issue with one of our sides, and they got it swapped out very quickly. Overall service was fairly fast and very friendly. We enjoyed the Hot Sauce as well. It isn't too hot, but it is warm.

I loved this place. I went with a toddler and two very picky eaters. We found something for everyone to eat. We had a total of 7 people with us and ate under for under $60. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, including giving help to the picky eaters (suggestions of what they personally like). I will definitely come back, if not for the food (a definite plus) but for the atmosphere everyone wants people to enjoy. If you haven't been, please give it a try.

Only the best Fantasy football

First visited cowboy chicken over a year ago. Would have given 5 stars after that visit. I have been back several times since, and unfortunately I am no longer as enthusiastic about the restaurant. Service has been on a steady downhill, and I think it has a lot to do with high turn over. Haven't seen the same employee twice. Today my chicken was luke warm at best. Hope to see improvement if I do come back.

My son got sick twice after we ordered and the staff was of no assistance in helping us. The staff stood behind the counter and laughed instead of asking if we needed help. This really upsets me because we always go to this location. After he got sick AGAIN after bringing him out of the bathroom “Michael” or “Mikkal” I am not sure, had braids and a bun in their hair, would not bring us a mop and continued to laugh behind the counter with staff until I demanded they bring me a mop to clean the mess up. The man that brought out the mop cleaned up the mess and I am so thankful for this man. We will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed in the staff!

Cowboy chicken is always good. I've been to several locations. My only complaint about this location is that the food was cool. They did have the ceiling fans on full blast. Not sure if that was it. It wont keep me away though. I will return!

We dined in. The food was delivered hot. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, the green beans were steamed and well seasoned, the fried okra was nice brown and crispy and well seasoned. Their sweet tea was the bomb tastes just like a Southern Granny made it. The only complaint and it's not that serious is I wish the roll came warmed up other than that it was delicious.

Although most complaints are due to portion the food is still amazing and you can always add more. My issue are the hours. They close earlier and open later than any of their competing restaurants within a 5 mile radius. Not the smartest business move! Also we’ve gone by there a few times and they didn’t have everything on the menu. Will still enjoy this place but it seems likes it’s kind of at their convenience. Do not wanna see this place go out of business!!! And please no generic apologies Cowboy Chicken just let the actions speak if you’re here to serve. Thanks

Ok, last visit, had an issue with the staff cleaning up drinks (specifically the iced tea options) prior to closing. I think they started about 45 minutes prior to closing, and then the iced tea options were all gone about 15 minutes prior to close. Now I understand prepping prior to closing, as there were only a few customers left, but come on! Really? If you really don't want to work there and get out the door as soon as the establishment closes, that's really not the way to treat your customers. The food is always great, love the hot sauce! That's 5 stars, fresh and delicious! The 2 stars are for the early closing hint from the staff.
