This is like a kids order but it is my preference on how to eat the yummy steak sandwich, which is plain and dry and cut in half. I actually like to eat it cold like you do for leftover pizza. My husband has chicken fry steak dinner with tater tots and salad. Deducted a ☆ because the coke needed to be adjusted. Have to have a coke with the sandwich or it's all wrong.

Food was delicious but wish there were more human interactions. There's a phone at the table which you pick up when you are ready to place your order. Once your food is ready, they buzz you on that phone then you go up to the counter to pick up your food.

Was my first experience there and it could have been better. My chicken strips were undercooked and the batter was so thick that it was mush inside and my fries were undercooked. We also had the chicken fried steak and that was fantastic.

Clean it up!!! Please!!! I enough people use the drive thru window instead of going inside they assume its as clean inside as the food is tasty. Inside is always filthy and ants all over the dinning patio room. Condiment containers are dabby.

You have to order from a phone at your table. Some may find this dated but it's a throwback experience some will remember and appreciate. The burgers are very good and it's always clean when I come here.

I have been eating here since the 80s. Nothing fancy, just good, all-American comfort food. Love the chicken fried steak. Salad bar is small but good selection of dressings. Overall can't beat it for an inexpensive meal.

This place is more known for their steak sandwich ( a chicken fried steak sandwich). Their other notable items include the chuck burger, and onion rings. They have a fresh salad bar that is small but still offers a decent variety of sides/toppings. The interior is very dated but, is well taken care of. The place is clean inside and out as well as the restrooms. You place your order from at phone receiver located at your table and pick up your order and pay at the counter. Because of the friendliness of the staff and the always fresh food, Chuck House deserves all 5 stars.

This is my favorite place for chicken fried steak. The prices are more than fair. They don't charge a super high price for it. I am weird and don't eat gravy on mine. But, it allows me to get a better idea of the taste of the chicken fried steak and the quality vs just the gravy making up for mediocre chicken fried steak. Try this place it is definitely worth it.

I love the chicken fried chicken sandwich, my son loves the grilled cheese and fries. Wife always goes with chicken fried chicken dinner. Food is really good, BUT... They need to address the smell in the restaurant. Not sure if it is the drainage pipes or what but it smells like a bathroom or sewage. It has for a long time, no change. We came today to see if it was still present and to no surprise, smell is the same. We've resorted to going to Midwest City because it is an old drive through so we can enjoy the food and not feel like we are eating in the restroom.

Boiled potatoes served as baked potato. The chicken fried steak was cooked too fast; not golden in color. Consistency of good quality is worth more than anything else. Disappointed this evening; my family will not return. Ugh

Had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and fried okra. Chuck House is comparable to Ann's Chicken Fry. Chicken fried chicken was freshly made. The okra was hot and large pieces and perfectly cooked golden brown and tender. Portion sizes were generous. Great food!

We like the menu and the way food is prepared. Always fresh tasty and excellent eye appeal. The well stocked salad bar is clean and tempting, & in my opinion lacked only sliced black olives at the time of our visit. The nostalgic telephone ordering system at the table is convenient and fun. I got there at 5 minutes until closing and as always the staff were more than happy to take my order and offer to allow me to stay to dine inside while they did their closing duties. I got my order to go though and they never fail to serve me fantastic food every time I've been to eat. I love this place. It is on my top 3 list of favorite places to eat!!!

As a California native I was used to eating cube steak most of my life. Not until I moved to OKC over a decade ago did I come to learn about the battered and fried version known as "chicken fried steak." I naturally came to like this OKC staple. I've eaten the Grandy's, Cracker Barrell's Artesian Hotel's and Texas Roadhouse versions of chicken fried steak; each having their own spin on quality, size and flavor. However, I had heard about the Chuck House on many occasion over the years, but never set foot in their 10th St. location. Some even lauded the place as having the best chicken fried steak in town. I finally gave it a try, ordering the chicken fried steak dinner with fries and corn. Let's just say I was underwhelmed! The steak was bland, as was the corn. Like NO flavor except for the gravy. The fries are just basic fried frozen fries you can get in your local Walmart freezer. And I'm not one of those people who pours table salt on his food. I'm not sure what the hoopla was/is about, but I'll stick to Texas Roadhouse, where the flavor of the chicken fried steak is unmatched and the portion size is generous.
