My favorite Asian buffet! I go here when I'm in the mood for sushi, but not in the mood to spend a lot. Their sushi is pretty good for a buffet, and I've never been worried about getting sick from it or anything like that. They also have kimchi, which I love!

$11.99 per person. Like other reviewers have said, most of the food is cold. Egg rolls were the generic wholesale kind. Sushi almost tasted frozen. Vegetable medley tasted canned. The only thing I liked were their sesame balls with sweet bean paste. They're big in comparison to other buffets and tasted good. Everything else was quite a let down. Definitely not worth 11.99, go somewhere else.

Chen's is on par with most of the other Chinese all-you-can-eat buffets in city. I personally am a stickler for the food temperatures and consistency so as with most Chinese buffets it is hard to keep food at a constant temperature in a steam table with no lid. With that said it is good and I would go back.

Food: 3 There are a decent number of food items but while going to the desert section, terrible Customer Service: 1 While entering this place for my first time, The first thing I am told is $15.50 for buffet and drink. I wanted at least a “hello” and left to find another place. The closer buffets were closing soon so I returned, I pay the buffet for 1 person and asked if I wanted to tip on the receipt, let me see if I enjoy the food and experience, then I will tip if okay. The server of my area I’m already getting the vibe that I don’t like him because of the negative look from entrance. I finish my first dish and go to get a little more. I see the server getting the tips, cleaning tables and skips my plate.

Not a fan of buffets usually. Here all the food is hot! They hand make it fresh in small batches! Really good and fresh food. I am vegetarian and really enjoyed the veggie sushi.

Decent food, very good egg drop soup. I can’t speak to the sushi, but it looked fresh. Food was being brought out constantly to refresh and refill. I think that’s a good sign at a buffet. The server came very infrequently, but that was fine for the mood I was in. The tea was refilled when it needed to be and he brought me some sauce I missed in the buffet. I am pleased to have found this place so close to my house.

Food was cold.. No waiter service. .The older Asian man who is the waiter seemed to purposely not wait on our table . Had to get up and ask the Owner at the cashier to fill our glasses and remove dirty dishes. Since it is a family business they seem to do as they please without repercussions... Never again.

Great Chinese food buffet. They do a good job keeping the place clean and they have a good selection of the traditional Chinese food buffet options as well as few other things as well. We always leave full and happy. They have fresh sushi which is pretty good. They have a Mongolian bbq station, but I've never had any Mongolian bbq, it looks as though they have many options there.

This place used to be great. Today was NOT. The sushi was not fresh and nearly gone and he made no new sushi from 7-7:30pm. Trying to cut costs will cut out a portion of the costomer base that wants quality in a $12 buffet. I know I won't be back.

Only good thing I had was the ice cream. Everything else tasted like it was made in a bowl of no flavor. Never got refills. Then the cashier TELLS me to leave a tip. You should pay ME to eat here.

I just left there. When we walked in there was a large group ahead of us. They over charged us because they include 10% tip on the bill for large groups. But there was only two of us. We were not with the group. The lady at the front was very rude and would not allow us to be refunded. She would not give us the Manager’s name and only said you cannot talk to the manager. He is not here right now. But I can give you the phone number for the manager. The food was not very tasty and we did not get refunded because she said we already ate. She did give us the difference back after we threatened to write a bad review.

The best sushi in OK for a buffet, even without the buffet!! It's always so fresh whenever I go. Only giving a 3 because service sucks. I understand when a waiter gets busy so I have no problem waiting but this is a buffet and there's only 7 other customers here. I've bussed my own plates and got my own drink, the two things you shouldn't have to do at a buffet that isn't even busy. The waiter was a young girl with glasses all she did was get on Instagram on her phone the entire time. I found that very rude and again I understand when it's slow but DO YOUR JOB!!! I work in the restaurant industry also and I would never ever have my phone on the floor or ignore a customer. Smh. Once more good sushi but horrible service.

The hostess/owner is always very sweet and friendly. They offer dine-in or takeout and I do both regularly. I love the vegie fried rice and rice noodles. I have been vegetarian for three years now, so I no longer eat these - but their eggrolls and dumplings were really great too.

Chen's is a very clean restaurant. The people are very nice and very polite. They have a very large selection of different types of food. Their sushi bar is wonderful. And it's freshly made. It's fairly priced. Overall it was a very wonderful dining experience. The food was very very good. I WILL be back for sure.

Just left there. Told the owner , food was not fresh. I sent most of my food back for the trash. This place has gone down hill. Don't think they care . This is not the first time that it was bad. Some food was completely out , Mongolian Beef , was only the onions . Thought I would give it another chance ... No more....... Jan 28th, 2018 Went back AGAIN ,.. Thought I would try Again. It was awful , and no one waited on me. I got up and went over to get me some water. Buffet was not filled. Several containers empty or old food . Then they brought out the food, it tasted like they use the same oil for all food , with a bad after taste. It was awful . I won't be going back ,. I told a friend that if i say , I want to go .. REMIND me. how bad it has been ,, Told the manager the girl that was suppose to wait on me , did not. They girl was up there at the counter , making excuses for not waiting on me . I kept telling the manager , she is not good. She is not good. Lazy... If there was a 0 rating here. I would give it a 0 ... Really bad ... Did I say " Really bad ? "

My mom and I eat at Chen's all the time. The service is excellent! The food is spicy and tasty, with lots of variety. There are mild items as well. I think the dishes have a unique flavor. I notice that other customers enjoy the food and atmosphere, too. It's family oriented, quiet, and relaxed. We have always been treated with respect. I have witnessed rude customers who were still treated calmly and respectfully. I am so impressed at the down home, yet professional behavior, of the staff. The men on kitchen staff are also friendly and helpful. I always have a pleasant experience at Chen's.

It was surprising really good. Everything I tried had excellent flavor and was hot and fresh. (As fresh as you can expect from a buffet) Everything was well prepared and nothing on the line was dried or old. The sushi especially caught my attention. The rolls I got were crisp, fresh, and as good as if not better than any sushi bar I have been to in this state. That's is saying something for a Chinese buffet. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for Chinese food in the area.

It was terribly over priced. The food was cold or tepid at best on the buffet. No one was maning the grill on the fresh food area. The ice cream machine basically puked some sort if clear liquid along with something that resembled ice cream in my bowl. I was really disappointed. You would think for 12 bucks a person the food would have been better. Didnt even include my drink with that price. There was more American food than chinese food on the whole buffet. I will not be returning to that establishment anytime soon. Im sorry for the horrible review. I was just being honest about my experience there. Perhaps i caught them on a bad day.

We have had many fantastic experiences here. The sushi bar is excellent. The food is very good and there are a lot of selections. The grilled chicken is seriously good as well as the beef with broccoli. My son loves to come here for Sushi. I've noticed several comments about bad service. I've never had bad service here. Like any buffet, if you come after peak hours your food probably won't be as fresh. But as far as I'm concerned, this place is great. Lunch buffet is a little over $8 for an adult and under $5 for a kid. For what you get, that's not bad.

It confuses me that I felt like I would burst from eating only fried shrimp/lo mein/fried rice everything else I tried to eat was cold. Food shouldn't be cold since it was lunch time. The price was way too high for the quality of food.

It's not the best or worst Chinese buffet in Oklahoma City. Sometimes it's a little weird there. When we came in last, the person at the register made a big show of telling us how much a buffet was. When we acknowledged that price, she typed it into the register, said it again while pointing and ask if we were really sure we were ok with that. It came off really confrontational and condescending. Why would we even go in the restaurant if we couldn't afford it? It's not terribly expensive. Anyway that experience put a damper on our meal and our night. It was such a weird experience that none of us could stop thinking about it. That weird experience aside, I'd still give a 3/5 for quality/taste.

The food was decent, nothing really all that special, some of the food was old and hard and some was fresh and tasted great. We had a table of four and our waiter didn't really come by all that much to take the dirty plates and refill our drinks. But the lady whom had seated us and ran the cash register was super friendly, greeted us and had wished us a nice evening.

Absolutely disgusting. This place made me sick within hours of eating there. This place used to be good but now I can hardly stand the smell when I walk in. I tried to give them the benefit of a doubt because it was so good before. I went during what should have been the dinner rush and the food was cold and had been sitting there for quite some time. Even the fish on the sushi was dry and shriveled up. Not to mention it was 30 bucks for two people who just got sick after. I'm never going back.

This is one of my comfort restaurants in OKC and has since I found it in 2004. I love their sushi and enjoy it even more since I can stand there watching the woman making it by hand. It's nice that they don't just buy it from somewhere. My wife didn't know that she liked coconut shrimp until she tried it here, and now she likes sushi too. Great food and great service!

We used to go here a lot. It was o e of our favorites for a while. Lately, the soup is watered down, food is bland, the noodles were dried out as was the rice. Its progressively gotten worse over the past year or two. Paid $26.00 for me and my 14 year old and we didn't our moneys worth. I let the lady at the register know that it wasn't up to par and she just looked at me. We won't be going back. There are far better chinese buffets.
