This Restaurant corresponds to the category of French restaurant.
Excellent dining experience. I had beef short ribs that were amazing, so tender and flavorful. Super service. I will take friend here often
Excellent option in OKC in the Ambassador Hotel. Good, but not excellent cocktails. Decent menu, excellently prepared in an honest no frills manner.
Nice place for breakfast. French cuisine but have some typical fare like eggs, pancakes. Got the grilled shrimp crepes . ham & Swiss gullete both were very good choices.
Amazing food, incredible service every time! They offer complimentary valet to all guests as well! This is one of our favorite restaurants in OKC.
Good ambience and food! The seasonal menu is very attentive and curated.
Get the omelette! You can put everything on it (5 cheeses, 4 proteins, 5 veggies) for the same price! I did egg whites with all the veggies, goat cheese and subbed the breakfast potato side for fruit. Wonderful and healthy!
Good service really love the bar on 7th floor
Came here for an early valentines dinner and given the way they present themselves I expected more the mashed potatoes were instant and instead of apologizing or trying to fix it I just got a response of them arguing with me. I know food and I have had instant mashed potatoes before and without a doubt they were instant for the price I expected more.
We were able to dine here tonight and had a wonderful dinner with our friends! Joshua was our server and was amazing! The French 75 was delicious, as was the dover sole, onion soup and souffle! We are definitely looking forward to coming back for another evening if being spoiled!
Wow! Café Cuvée is the reimagined restaurant and our favorite hotel in OKC the Ambassador! The food here is approachable French, and it was absolutely fantastic!! The ambassador sling was a wonderful cocktail to start and the food was extraordinary!!! Service phenomenal and attentive!! Edited to include the fantastic Saturday brunch!! Highly recommend for a night out in Midtown!!
It was great--food, ambiance, & wait staff. Our table ordered 3 different Entrees and all were great--well prepared, tasted exceptional and well presented. They had vine ripened tomatoes which were locally grown--outstanding! We are planning our next visit already so that means we really liked it!
We stayed at the hotel for our anniversary and were very excited when they told us they have a new French restaurant. We had breakfast at Cafe Cuvée. They had only been open as a French restaurant for less than a week. The food was amazing. Best breakfast I have ever had! My husband had eggs benedict and I had the crapes with shrimp and tomatoes with a delicious sauce. The service wasn’t great. We had to ask 3 times for more water and coffee and a few time for more sugar and cream. The staff was very busy- always cleaning and making the tables beautiful they just need to check on the tables more often for drink refills and notice when people are done eating to ask if they are ready for the check. We weren’t the only table with these issues. I think they will get the hang of it. We will definitely be back and are excited about trying it for dinner!
Went with my gf and her family for brunch this past Sunday. We had a reservation for 8. We arrived and was promptly sat and greeted by our server. She was great. Very helpful and attentive to our needs. Kept our coffee and water full at all times. The menu was small, but it was really inviting. The food was good and was very well cooked. The restaurant was small child friendly and was a warm atmosphere.
Great place for brunch. Next time I'm in town, I'll be stopping in for cocktails.Loved the tufted furniture and tabletop decor as well.
Found this restaurant on OpenTable, EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!! If more stars were available I'd give them all. Food, service and ambiance are 5 star all the way.
I have genuinely never had better food or better service. Our server made us feel so special for our anniversary and her recommendations were on point. The portions were just right and we walked away feeling that we definitely got our money's worth. They've got a good thing going here and my husband and I are already planning our next visit.
Salad was nothing to write home about, short ribs were excellent but my chocolate cake was horrible... a "very" dry cupcake with a dab of warm whipped cream. It tasted like a two day old dessert off the display tray.
AWESOME. Half chicken with brussel sprouts and mac and cheese. Little slice of heaven. Literally
Great food and service in an intimate and cordial atmosphere.
First visit since restaurant change. Flank steak was tough, peppered steak was not heat hot and lacked flavor. Filet was excellent. Wish there was a chocolate choice on the dessert menu. Previous restaurant served pot decreme and it was excellent.
Really good meal here. I highly recommend it. Was a little bit pricey but had a very generous portion. They aren't fast because they're actually cooking your dinner. Well worth the little extra wait.
New name with some new choices on the menu. The quiche is amazing. Some service issues but overall a very nice dining experience.
We hosted a dinner for six on 6.2.2017 at the Viceroy Grille and, in the main, it was a very pleasurable evening. Before dinner, we had a coctail in the Obar in the top floor of the Ambassador which was about an average bar, but it did have a nice view of downtown. Nothing sumptuous but o.k. In the restaurant, the environment was quiet (which we wanted) and the service was excellent. Our main courses were excellent. However, I and a friend had oysters on the half shell (both east and west coasts) and these were the only disappointments of our dining experience. The oysters were ultra small and unsavory and I would not order them again ... Big disappointment. That said, everything else was what I expected from an upscale restaurant. The tab for the 3 of us on our tab, drinks included, was about $370. I would go again, but I will not order the oysters again.
The Dishes here are Beyond Exquisite !!!
Me and the copain came in for brunch this past weekend and the service was awesome, food delicious and hot chocolate made just how he likes it! We enjoyed the cards on the table to brush up my french skills. It's one of his many fluent languages. We'll be back!
Deanna Kamp (Bill's wife)- Had my 50th family b-day dinner there, FABULOUS. Loved our server, Joshua. He was so knowledgeable, and be sure to request the Dover and the deboning mastery tableside Very impressive! Must try... And the only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is b/c they didn't have chocolate *gasp!* I was hoping for a Pot De Creme :)
Fabulous, intimate dining experience. Small dining area with uptown feel. Meals designed to intrigue and delight. Elegant but not cliche'. $$$ But worth the price. Melt in your mouth entrees. A must try for foodies. Requires a reservation due to limited seating. Book well in advance. Perfect for a romantic evening or outing with friends. Full bar with specialty drink menu. Great selection of wine as well.
Caesar salad was a disappointment, beef stroganoff was great last year, but last week was disappointing, flank steak was hard to chew and no noodles, very disappointing!
This French restaurant is a surprise, a very positive surprise! French born, my wife and I know about French cuisine: the escargots were great, matching the taste of the ones you usually get in France. The croque monsieur was well prepared. The creme brulee is very similar to the ones you get in most Parisian brasseries So really this restaurant is a piece of France in Oklahoma City!
Good Food. Great service. Decent wine list. Nice ambience.
Wonderful service and delicious food! 10/10 would recommend.
Service,valet parking,foods all are perfect!
Steak was delightful and the roof top bar was a great ending to the night
EXCELLENT! From appetizers to dessert everything was wonderful.
Denise was phenomenal!!! When I go back I will for sure be asking for her and probably get the same delicious steak and sauce that she suggested.
We went for Sunday brunch. The food was fabulous and service on point.
Love the food and service. Perfect place for a romantic date night.
Get the omelette! You can put everything on it (5 cheeses, 4 proteins, 5 veggies) for the same price! I did egg whites with all the veggies, goat cheese and subbed the breakfast potato side for fruit. Wonderful and healthy!
If you like French cuisine this place is very good. We had dinner for 5. Drinks were generous. Appetizers (2) were plenty for the 5 of us. French onion soup was excellent. Salmon was cooked perfectly with a crispy skin and a wonderful sauce. All in all we enjoyed our first visit and will be back. Our waiter was very attentive and engaging.
First visit. Very nice place you can actually enjoy lunch downtown and not feel cramped.
Amazing food, atmosphere and service!!! Best Valentine's Day with my husband yet!
I enjoyed the quiet and nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and the dishes were very well put. I do recommend their half chicken dish and their french onion soup!
Overpriced food that wasn't impressive
We have eaten here several times and have always had a positive experience. We highly recommend both service and food
Food was average at best, steak was overcooked sides werent the best. Good service generally and helpful
I thought it was below average. We started with Ceasar salads ( horrible presentation, small portion, dressing seamed sour not fresh or homeade. Salad was pale with lots of stems. We had both the Steak Frites which is basically a steak and French fries (seriously) and the Steak au Poivre which is a peppercorn steak. Mash potatoes were runny with no structure. Steaks overcooked tough and flavorless. Actually my Steak au Poive tasted like a hamburger. Service was average. Staff was polite, atmosphere OK. Many better options in City. Bill $140!!!
Overall delicious and a fun experience! Four of us decided to try out Café Cuvée last night, we ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert. The French onion soup and the fois gras special we’re both outstanding and the drinks were fantastic as well. When we got our meal both my boyfriend and I were a little disappointed in our filets. Though we both ordered the exact same meal, filet avec frites cooked medium rare, our steaks were cooked at different temperatures. Mine was closer to medium and I don’t like sending back an over cooked steak because the only thing they can do is start over, unless it’s closer to medium well I’ll just take what they’ve given me. My boyfriend’s was very very rare on the other hand, so rare I would have sent it back, he just ate around the rarer parts. I think a lot of this could have been avoided if the server had asked us to cut into our steaks to see if they were done to our liking. The fries on the other hand were amazing, so much so that we decided to order another plate for the table. We all ordered dessert; apple tarts for the guys and grand marnier soufflé for the ladies. And while we all enjoyed our desserts I must say the ladies made the best choice, the soufflé was perfect in every way.
Great spot. Had the cauliflower soup and salmon. Great choices! Would definitely go back again.
This little place is wonderful! Very personable staff, the food was great! I wish I could of had everything. The beef bourguignon was amazing as well as the escargot. Fresh and so much flavor. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner special! I hope to be back soon!
Fantastic food.
Great food, great service. This is my 4th trip this year. The 7th floor bar has an incredible view of OKC.
My favorite restaurant in OKC. I've had their breakfast, brunch and dinner items and everything has been absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly, professional and give great wine and food recommendations.
We were asked to be guests at a good friend's birthday dinner. It had been a while since we've eaten dinner at Cheever's and it continues to amazing and unique cuisine and great service. Our host ordered appetizers to share: Juan's Queso Chihuahua (Mexican layer dip) and the Roasted Chicken & Pepper Jack Strudel. For our entree, my husband and...
Loved it!! Food was amazing..we had the Pork tenderloin and Beef Bourguignon!
While the atmosphere was great the food and service was better.
We loved it! Great food! And the chef was very attentive!
We had a great time. Food was great and service was top notch. I highly recommend.
Just amazing!
The food: Steak Tartare, Tomato Basil Soup, and Pork Tenderloin are exceptional. The flavors and presentation are great in a lot of ways. The service was very nice but seemed confused and lacking confidence. The acoustics were very bad which made conversations very hard to hold. I encountered a problem with my sliverware not being clean but other than that it was great meal. Everything was hot, fresh, and fast I would recommend but do expect noise as the place can become crowded and sitting is close to other tables.
Wow! We love French food and this is a great new addition to the downtown dining scene. Drinks food and service where phenomenal!!
Very inviting atmosphere easy to have a conversation with friends and family. The people are wonderful and inviting, great staff. Food tasted wonderful the sausage was delicious. I will be back
Thanksgiving dinner was very good, except that it was served just barely warm. Management was nice and apologetic. We will try them again.
We tried Mahogany's last year for our anniversary and it was so-so. This year we tried Viceroy and it was so much better. The food was better and the price was better. I had the pork schnitzel with spaetzel and brussel sprouts. My husband had the short rib sauerbraten, granny smith apple-red cabbage sauerkraut and spaetzel. It was delicious.
Crumbling thin sad bacon = lardons? Okay. Service not affable or swift (ahem). Nice space & French cuisine seems like a good fit for it (+ OKC needs this). Could make some huge improvements with tweaks to hiring & management practices I bet.. and perhaps set your kitchen loose on google image search or, like, follow some legit French restaurants on ig? ;)
Good French food for Oklahoma, but a bit pricey. Service was great, as was the wine list, escargot, and souffle.
Came here for my Birthday and got the salmon. EXCELLENT food.
My wife and I visited for our anniversary and enjoyed.
We had some issues but the server made up for it generously in compensation, without us having to ask. Tailee was very sweet & cared that our order wasn’t done correctly. Food is very good! Ambience is lovely; they just needed music in background. :)
Wonderful food and wait staff. A unique experience, beautiful atmosphere. Good coffee and delicious food.
It was delicious! Definitely going back
Reservation necessary
The food was good, but not everything was served as requested. Also not many vegetarian options. Still, an enjoyable experience overall.
Very good little French restaurant in the Ambassador. I've had both the tuna nicoise and the beef bourguignon for dinner here and honestly can't pick a favorite. Good wine selection, I always ask the wait staff to make a wine recommendation and have been very pleased with the result.
Absolutely loved everything here. Phenomenal food and service! Parking initially seems few and far between, but then you realize it's in the Ambassador Hotel and their parking is shared or you can use valet. This is an elegant French restaurant that really feeds you well and treats you like nobility. Mes félicitations au chef!
What a great find! The place is intimate and very quiet, and tastefully decorated. The menu is full of unique selections .. not the usual stuff. I didn't expect German-inspired cuisine, but the sauerbraten was terrific! Our server, Matthew, who doubled as our bartender, was outstanding. Very attentive and informative. We will certainly be back. In fact, the hotel itself was so impressive, we might just have to do a staycation....
I have never had froi gras before so I wanted to try it, it must be an acquired taste. Everything else that we had was delicious. When I can eat the whole asparagus it is cooked to perfection. The service was kind of slow at times, but other than that we had a great time.
Love Cafe Cuvee and cannot recommend enough to people wanting an approachable, upscale, and boutique dining experience in OKC! Their happy hour is from 5-6pm and well worth going for the specialty cocktails, wine, and appetizers for $5. Aperol spritz and ratatouille croquettes are incredible! Food and drinks area always fresh, flavorful, and a great value. Spectacular location in midtown with a French flare to the entire hotel. Everything is beautiful (great place to take someone for a special event) and makes you feel very luxurious. Upstairs is the O bar-great rooftop views, especially around sunset. Great seasonal selections, too. Keep tabs using their social media!
Normally the pork dish is the substitute for those who don't want to spring the money for steak... after having the pork I feel as though it's the secret menu item. Delicious!
Everything was excellent
Average food with above average wait times and below average service. The waitress made us feel like it was an inconvenience. It took over an hour to get our food and the restraunt wasnt busy.
The food, service and ambience are all amazing -- but especially the food. Tres magnifique!
Very Welcoming Atmosphere and Super Nice Staff!!! Food was Good and Drinks were Awesome. I would love to visit this place again and try other items in their menu too.
Been there service wasn't any good and the food for what it was over priced
Nic always knows what you've ordered even if he never turns around. His partner asks you what you want and Nic gets right at it. What A Team! You have to get the Cheeseburger and Fries. You'll agree it is the best burger this side of the Atlantic Ocean!
Very cozy place ... ideal for a romantic dinner or with few friends, delicious food! Definitely, a little piece of France in Midtown OKC
1 check-in I came here for a Christmas Party, I made reservations for 7 at 1pm and they were nice enough to say that they would stay if we took a little longer to eat because they closed at 2pm. The place is very upscale and I was definitely under dressed. The servers were very nice and accommodating. There wasn't many eating there, which I was a little disappointed because it was a beautiful restaurant. We ordered chips with a sour cream dip, which was pretty good. Their chips is very thick, which I am not a fan of but it was still good. I ordered the Schnitzel Sandwich and a Jack and coke. The Jack and Coke with standard, nothing different. I really liked the Schnitzel Sandwich, it came with home cut fries and a sandwich with some type of creamy dressing. The break seemed fresh and easy to bite into. I really like the lettuce and creamy dressing that was on the sandwich, it worked really well with the schnitzel. I didn't finish my food so I took it home. I ate it two days later and it was still good, not as good as fresh but still good. I'm not sure why there aren't many people eating at this place at lunch during the week because it was really good and very reasonably priced. I wished they had a little more selection but what they do have is really good. Definitely a place to take a date for a lovely evening. I was told that they have complimentary parking service because of how there isn't many parking here. Definitely worth checking out.
One of the best meals we've had since moving to Oklahoma City - worthy of Paris. Delicious food, cooked to perfection, and served with style. Highest recommendation.
I have been here twice now. The first time was very good. On my second visit I thought I was going to have to serve myself to get any food or drinks. To be clear they we not very busy and there was plenty of waitstaff, they were just too busy ignoring everyone and hanging out at the bar.
