We've been here before for breakfast but it's been a few years. Recently we went here to eat lunch on a Saturday and it was really crowded. We were being patient know it was pretty busy. But the service was just really bad. And we could hear arguing in the kitchen. Everyone got their for after waiting a long time except my son. I don't know if they forgot his or what but he had to wait another 15 minutes for his food. The food was good. But was kind of sloppy you could tell it was really rushed. We may come back on a week day to see if it's any better.

This place has extremely terrible customer service. Every time I come to this location the staff are hateful and do not want to give you the time of day. The place is not well kept up and is in need of repair. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are other breakfast locations you can go to that will treat you right.

This place is an OKC staple. Lived here a few years ago and visit everytime I'm back in town. This is a great American Diner with a better than classic menu. The service is always on target and the coffee is awesome.

If I could give zero stars I would. We took my dad there for father’s day and we were the ONLY people in there. It stunk like smoke. We never got refills. I had to wait at the register to ask for one. My dads pancakes came out DISGUSTING and the waitress just said “yeah we got a new cook”. So if you know they look bad then DON’T BRING THEM OUT!!!! We asked for our bacon well done and it came out full of fat. We had terrible terrible service. We have called to complain and have been told to call back several times. This place is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

Been a while since I've been at this location. Back then, we were seated quickly and our order was taken. Orders were correct and the people were friendly. I drink coffee and it was a little weak. But was a good meal.

We there to get food, I watched all of the cooks and waitresses none of them had gloves none of them had hair nets on their facial hair or head all the food that they were cooking they were piling on top of other food that was already cooked on the plate so the bottom of a dirty plate was sitting on top of some cooked food it's really gross bad customer service and they're not very nice people there

We received excellent service from the waitress, but unfortunately the food was terrible. I heard that they used to have the best country fried steak around. That definitely is not the case anymore. And to top it off the mashed potatoes were burnt. Time to get a new cook in that kitchen.

Each time I visit Beverly's, I always leave very satisfied. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is always this retro homey vibe I adore, the staff is friendly and relatable. I bring friends that have previously overlooked this restaurant, and on the way out, have made promises to return!! I love the vegetarian-friendly options, it's so considerate to already have vegetarian things on the menu! There's games for kids, coffee for adults, AND 24-hour service!! I'll always keep coming back

I called them a little while ago... I explained to the girl who answered that I could not find a menu on their website... she told me that one was there and that I wasn't looking properly... I asked if they had ham and cheese sandwiches... The girl very rudely said no we do not we have ham sandwiches! I asked... Will do you have cheese??? She said yes. so then I asked her how hard it would be to make a ham and cheese sandwich? she told me that she couldn't talk right now because they were very busy and hung up.

I usually take my family to this place when they come into town. It has always been great. Tonight, I change my 4 stars to one. Watched our food sure in the window for 15 minutes before it was brought to us. Everything was cold. The butter on the toast wasn't even melted. Couldn't get toast right. Only saw our waitress over, so we were thirsty the whole time. I HOP would've been better tonight. We walked out without paying and no one even noticed. I stood up for five minutes before we decided to leave. Sorry not sorry.

Why serve fried catfish on a big cold leaf oif lettuce, kid didn't like the grilled cheese cause it tasted funny, friend didn't like his chicken fried steak cause it tasted garlicky. At least my fish was good after wading through 6 tincy butter cups for my baked potato..which were margarine and not healthy, delicious butter. Used to really like this place.

The burger was just OK, but the fries seemed to have been cooked more than once. They were hollow and hard. The food on my dining partners plate was not prepared well either. The mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy was more cold jello then gravy. I also watched as a line formed to pay and a staff member was rolling silverware less than three feet away. She never acknowledged the line nor went to get the person assigned to help. This was probably not their normal - I hope not at least. This was my first visit to Beverly's in very many years. I was hoping for better like I remember it as a teenager going with my father., but there was nothing in this experience to invite me to return. Maybe I should have ordered pancakes.

Our Server was very attentive and kind, however the others didn't seem so. Food was OKAY. But they really need to do a deep clean. The windowpanes are visibly coated in dust and so is most decor. Makes you really wonder what the kitchen is like.

Food was okay Service was sub par Wrote total amount on check (giving the waitress an undeserved but fair tip of roughly 25%) only to look on my bank statement and find the charge was for more.... Lucky for me I kept the other copy of the receipt and write the exact same information on both. I did speak to the manager and he informed me the waitress is the one entrusted with the responsibility of inputting the amounts which show up on your bank statement. The waitress (Christy) needs to be educated that bank fraud is a felony and if this amount were for more than it was I'd be pressing charges. If you go into this place of business you had better pay in cash because you never know what you'll be charged when it clears. For what its worth (Mike-the manager) was very understanding and professional with the entire situation. That being said, his waitress made it impossible to trust this place moving forward as far as I'm concerned.

The food was gross my Sunny side eggs looked like they cracked the egg and dumped it on the plate. The lights had me convinced I was in a club because they were constantly flickering. There were homeless people coming in and out. When I went to pay they told me their card machine was down so I was forced to leave to go to the atm and return. Very nice waitresses though no amount of courtesy could get me to come back. Pancakes also sucked.

Wish I could do negative stars. Awful service sat there for at least 5 minutes with no service. When I finally had enough and got up to ask if could be waited on the waitress started arguing with each other on who would serve me. The food was awful she got our order wrong and there was hair in my food. It makes me sad to leave a review like this, as I have eaten at this establishment many times before and had no issues!

My husband and I went here at like 12 in the morning. It's a very nice 24hr place. There was only one waitress and she was doing a great job! The food was delicious. I had blueberry pancakes and I've never had them like this where the blueberry is in the batter. Great place!

I had high hopes for my visit to Beverly's. We were seated prettt quickly and our drink orders taken. Then we waited and waited for her to come back and take our food orders. The portions were on the smaller size to comparable restaurants in the area for the cost. Overall, I was just not overly impressed.

Very slow to get food out... And there are only 3 people taking care of customers on a busy night like tonight on Friday... And they are always fighting and screaming at each other... The staff hate each other and the customers have to sit and wait for their food.... Do not recommend! Don't Go!

The atmosphere here is very nice, it has a homely feel. But the food is pretty awful. I went in on a Thursday night around 1030 pm, and ordered the pigs in a blanket. And it tasted okay, although greasy. But it was mostly just pancakes. The "jumbo" sausage was just a bloated small sausage and fit half the pancake. My girlfriend ordered the skillet, and all of her vegetables on it were uncooked, hard. It's like they made potato's and just dumped raw peppers and mushrooms on it. It was like a fried potato salad. We both ordered biscuits and gravy, and both received cold biscuits, and lukewarm gravy. You could tell the servers were trying really hard, but the kitchen was so bad you'd be hard pressed to remember. I'm speculating they lack a manager overnight; the kitchen really needs one. Definitely not coming back.

Maggie was great!! She was trying to do everything even help cooking guest food. She had no help!!!!! The other server Leah was not very pleasant and did not try to help at all. She was only worried about the couple tables she had instead of being a team player! No manager on duty or anybody to help out!! We've been here numerous times and this was the worst!!!

I am a Postmates Courier and I have been very disappointed with Beverly's for the last six to eight months. Each time I have been in there I have been ignored waiting at the counter for at least 20 minutes or more without even being acknowledged while picking up orders for customers! Then an 10 to 20 minutes 2 get order! SMH this is unacceptable and I will be reporting it to Postmates. It didn't used to be like this I don't know what has changed maybe Staffing for something else but I am very disappointed

Jennifer was a great server. My coffee cup never got empty, the food was delicious. This place reminds me of an old forgotten restaurant. A mop, soap and water would go a long way to clean this restaurant up. It comes complete with the majority of the lights flickering and needing to be replaced. If cleaning and changing light bulbs changes the old time delicious food, then they shouldn’t bother to invest in light bulbs or soap. I highly recommend unless you don’t like the old dank sticky feel of a restaurant that could use some TLC.

The whole menu is delicious and have been there for decades, that alone is a witness to the Smorgasbord of variety and unique taste here. I would say the fried peaches are my personal favorite, a delicious and sweet, yet rare southern treat. The cinnamon dipping sauce probably is the finishing touch on it.

My family and I went today to try this place again after many, many years. The kids food was hot but my husband and I both had cold plates of food. My water was warmer than my food. Also, the place needs to be scrubbed down. There is a lot of built up food on the dessert display. Our waitress was great and we didn’t have to wait long but don’t think we will be going back.

Maybe it was because we went there on new years eve after midnight, but the food and service weren't very good. To be fair, I remember having decent food here a couple years ago. This time I got pancakes, which would have been good if they were warm. I don't think that any person in our party of six got food that was warmer than room temperature. I've also heard not-so-good things about cleanliness from former employees.

The cinnabun pancakes are incredible!! Definitely give them a try. My boyfriend got the chicken fried chicken with eggs and hash browns and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Great staff who are all so friendly and kind, which helps create a comfortable and relaxed diner experience.

I eat here after I drop off my granddaughter at preschool. Its calm and peaceful atmosphere is soothing, making my meal a treat Every waitress that has served me is spot on with ther service! I love their down home attitude. My ice tea is kept filled and the food is served promptly. The eggs are just the way I like it (over medium well). Their French Toast is served with a light powdered sugar dusting (the syrup is served warm, too). I had the chicken fried chicken today. It was freshly cooked (not greasy) with a good balance of chicken and crust. Overall a great experience! Keeps me coming back.

Being honest, they are okay. I visited this location at 2 am. The interior design and lighting is outdated and that really bothers me PERSONALLY. However, some people may enjoy their food and environment but I did not. The waitress uniform was dirty and she was walking on the back of her shoes. They are more friendly than professional which worries me about the cleanliness of the restaurant. Other than that they are okay. Go experience this place for yourself. Maybe it's better during the day. I had the Farmers Daughter...eggs were well under cooked even though I asked for over medium...not even close. I hate slimy eggs, pancakes were doughy and dense. Like I said that might just be my experience maybe you'll have a different outcome!

Food delivery took forever and it was cold. No drink refills. On the plus side, two female waitresses broke out into a fist fight with pushing and shoving and profanity flying. Breakfast sandwich was thrown together by waitress without gloves. Charged full price. Never again.

The blueberry pancakes are to die for, definitely the best thing on the menu! Their coffee is a good light roast morning coffee, that'll help kick even the most rough of hangovers. Their bacon is thick, crisp and flavorful, the sausage patty could be better but it's got good spicing. The staff treat you brilliantly, they were like coffee fairies, making sure the cup was never empty! Every so friendly and warm. I'd suggest sitting at the "bar" so you can overhear the antics of the staff. It's nothing fancy but it's the best damn breakfast you're going to get in OKC.

We had a party of 20 people for my nieces b day on 6.19.19. There was 2 waitress, Maggie & Leah. Our waitress was Maggie and she was great! There was 1 cook so Maggie was in the back helping cook our order while the other wsitress, Leah was standing at the counter eating!!! Never helping Maggie fill drinks bring out food or assist Maggie. Leah had 2 tables with 2 people. After Maggie worked her butt off making sure we were taken care of we all were waiting to pay for our meals and Maggie was separating our tickets while Leah, AGAIN was standing behind the counter eating then wenter outside to smoke with a guy that came in and sat at the counter and ordered water. That waitress, Leah had HORRIBLE customer service and even had people walk out cuz she wasn't taking their order. Maggie was GREAT!!!

I don't eat pork, I ordered an omelette that did not have bacon.. When I got it it had bacon.. I took it to the waitress and she told the cook it didn't have bacon.. I got a new one and sure enough there was a piece of sausage bite size and a piece of bacon in the hash browns..... I didn't want to complain but that's wrong! I was told that everything is cooked on the same griddle... I will keep that in mind IF I go back..

The messy plate, is everything. Chicken and waffles doesn't disappoint. Be prepared to wait on Saturday and sunday regardless of when you go, but man is it worth it!

I have severe hearing issues and we requested a back booth. They were very rude about it and wanted us out of the restaurant quick ( gave us our check super quick, no water refills) but we got our food in record time. Her attitude changed when we gave her a 5 dollar tip but I do that regardless because that's how they pay rent.

Adding this to the list of one of my favorite places to eat. Bev's pancake House is the keeper of the legacy Chicken in the Rough. One of the first franchises in America at one point had over 300 stores. Beverly's pancake House has the memorabilia and was the original Chicken in the Rough. So I ordered the chicken in the rough half chicken it was great everything was homemade and I will add this place to one of my favorite places to eat.

Pancake was really yammy especially cinnamon..I enjoy it but something weird happens..my girlfriend payed by credit card...after we are waiting 4 credit ad signed ..20 min after I can see the waitress having her meal ..she didn't even returned credit card we went there ad asked her she said I give back to u .we said no it's almost half an hour w'r waiting she said O my God forgive me , she kept looking..10 min after her colleague told her it's on the floor 4 me it's weird never experienced something like that not only that she sound weird .

This place is amazing! I'm surprised (and a little disappointed) that I didn't know about it before. The food is delicious. The waffles are everything a waffle should be; crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and so buttery. The hamburgers are delicious, the French toast is superb. The waitresses were sweet, and accommodating. They were great with the kids. They didn't ignore us, but didn't hover either. This has become my new favorite diner, hands down. If I could give more than five stars, I would. And I would absolutely recommend to eat here!

I've never been disappointed here. If you go in a late-night meaning between midnight and 4 in the morning those waitresses know what they're doing. The weird little short manager guy sucks, just tell him to go away they usually works. But the food there is great, you have to try Chicken on the roof it's amazing. But mostly just go here for late night food either you had a late date or you're drunk.

Part of the appeal is that this place has been around forever, yet this was my very first visit. The Sunday morning customer traffic showed no signs of slowing down, and the service reflected that. The staff seemed disorganized and service was somewhat inconsistent. We overheard a delivery driver at the counter stating that the order was placed an hour ago (and still wasn't ready). The Farmers Daughter breakfast was enough for two to share (plus a side of biscuits and gravy). The food was good, and so was the coffee.

A good, reliable diner with good service. Seating can be a challenge, especially on the weekend. They've definitely never heard of gluten-free. Their menu is about 10 years behind the times. Great location right across from Baptist Hospital.

Overcooked my steak and they totally forgot my biscuits and gravy. Refused to discount the meal or fix the situation. I guess the cook thought it would be better to serve an improper order and hope no one would complain instead of correctly make the order. Stick to Mama Lou's on I-35 and SE29th Street.

Went there for the first time expecting good food and service according to the 4 star rating, but I got the opposite. The food was very bad, my pancakes were doughy, my wife's waffle for her "waffle special" was soggy. When we explained that the waffle was inedible, the customer service we received was horrible. They told us we can come back tomorrow to get it remade or compensated when the manager was there. Absolutely unacceptable. Never going back.
