This place is hidden gem. It's our favorite spot for date night. The perfect blend of upscale yet casual. The food is truly amazing. It's like food at no other restaurant. Vitor is a culinary genius. A lot of the veggies are grown in their own garden and you can really taste the freshness. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal.

Great food and friendly knowledgeable staff! The food was great I had a seafood frittata and a piece of the banana French toast. The presentation was nice and he taste was great. The fruit wasn't chilled enough in my opinion. The coffee is self serve and has a nice selection. Be advised this is byob!

I have had the pleasure of visiting and being WOW’d by Vitor’s Bistro many times. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this restaurant. It is inviting, cozy, super friendly staff. They are very accommodating and attentive. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! It is always fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS. I have never ordered a dish I wasn’t wow’d by. It’s also stands out because Vitor himself is always present in the restaurant, takes the time to come to the table to say hello and make sure you are happy with you meal and service!!! It’s nice that have be able too experience this unique one of a kind menu as there are no other restaurants in the area I’d rather spend a treat out with when I am visiting in Ohio. It has become routine to always make it one of my go to places when visiting from California.

A unique experience. Chef Vitor delivers high dining, and does so at a price point that confounds me. The selection of local craft beer is icing on the proverbial cake. If you have the opportunity to go here, you simply must.

I absolutely love this place and recommend it to everyone. Their sushi is hands down the best I have ever had, not to mention everything else. I am a very picky eater usually, but I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here. The only thing that distracts you from your food is watching all the other dishes coming out of the kitchen. From their appetizing appetizers to their delectable desserts, their food continues to blow me away every time I come here. Make sure to order the French toast for dessert at least once or for Sunday brunch. You won't regret it.

This is a big-city restaurant with a small town feel. The sushi was freshly prepared and as good as any I've had. It was a bit pricey, but they have a nightly happy hour that will get you half off. The chef specials were where they really shined, I've had shrimp and grits in Charleston and this was better. The salmon, pork and pasta dishes served at our table were equally amazing. We also had a side of brussel sprouts that you have to try. Sorry, none of us made it to the dessert menu... Support your outstanding local businesses and give this place a try!!!!

Had our first visit at Vitor’s tonight and it was nothing short of amazing. My husband enjoyed the half price sushi and the Panko crusted Perch special, I had the Brezel encrusted chicken. Everything was fantastic. We will definitely be back soon!

Great menu variety, nice choice of drinks, adequately priced, but most of all the service is over the top amazing! First time here, both my husband and I ordered prime rib, while cutting up my husband's dinner due to a recent surgery, Chef Vitor himself, came to our table, took his plate to cut it! We tried Sunday Brunch yesterday, food was amazing! Great price, fresh ingredients! Lots of seafood and fresh vegetables in our omelet and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned! The apple eggrolls are simply amazing and I love that fresh fruit came with our meals. Service was excellent and I appreciate that the Chef comes out to check on everyone to make sure everything was perfect and asks for suggestions for anything we would like to see on the upcoming menu. I would like to kindly say that it was an absolute pleasure having a fine dining experience at Vitor's Bistro. We enjoyed sausage stuffed mushrooms, the Asian cheese sticks, Bistro ravioli lasagna seafood pasta and blackened catfish all prepared perfectly and all three entrees were divine Delicacies. My daughter had the cheesecake with caramel and we all had a sample, absolutely top-notch. Thank you Heather and Vitor for inviting us back for a second try it was absolutely worth every minute. I’m not sure 5 stars does this restaurant and Chef justice! I have eaten there just 3 times (once in the regular dinning area, and twice at the chefs table) and I’m blown away each time. The food is delicious, the plates are well composed, the staff is amazing, and the Chef is beyond talented. He has a way of taking simple ingredients and turning them into a work of art. I have had 2 different risottos and could easily eat either every day for the rest of my life.

We’ve eaten here several times and we’ve had nothing but phenomenal service and food. If you get the opportunity to get up to 6 friends together and sit at the chef’s table do it! Typically you can set up a 5 or 10 course experience with wine pairings. This is our new favorite place. So don’t tell too many of your friends.

Incredible meal tonight for my husband and my wedding anniversary. Small restaurant with a large punch. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The owner Vitor even made the rounds and gave us a gift for our anniversary. My only frustration when returning will be whether or not to order sushi or from the cafe menu. No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed.

Went on a Saturday evening. No wait for a table. Wasnt busy by any means, but food still took an hour and a half. Also, went for the sushi only to find out there was NONE rolled. Service as a whole was inexplicably slow, for what seemed to be no reason at all. Kids grew restless (as did I) and the night was pretty well shot after that. However, due to the long wait time, our 2 kids meals and my beer were comped. So we just paid for 2 adult meals. And the resturaunt and restroom were very clean. Food was mediocre. Certainly not worth the hour and a half wait. Perhaps the sushi is the bread and butter, but we wouldn't know because there was none rolled on a saturday night. We may go again, as we live less than 5 minutes away. If second experience goes better, I will update review.

This little dining establishment is worth the drive to Bright, In. Chef Vitor came to our table to meet us, along with his charming wife who was our waitress. We tried the Chef's Special, which was so unique....it was a 4 course meal for $40 and you did not choose any of your food. The chef chose all the dishes and each was a surprise to the guest. That being said, every plate was delicious. I cannot rave enough about the chocolate torte that arrived for the last course. Absolutely terrific. They also have a sushi bar and specials on weekends on the sushi. We will return in the future.

Great coffee shop. Great brunch. Never disappointed. They have a great selection to choose from. It's a cozy atmosphere. I have been following Vitors for over 10 years, from Westwood to Cheviot to Bright Indiana. The have the BEST French toast. I have never tried the sushi but it looks delicious. During the summer months they also have a food truck they operate. I recommend a trip there if you have never been. Be sure to check out the hours of operation before venturing out.

We have had the opportunity to taste the chef's creations from the Urban Vistro food truck at a couple of venues. My wife and I finally made it to the restaurant late on a Friday night. It wasn't our destination, but a bad experience at another nearby restaurant brought us here. What a wonderful piece of luck. We walked in and the staff greeted us immediately. They explained there would be about a 15 minute wait because of the guest already seated and the size of the kitchen. We grabbed a spot at the bar and enjoyed a glass of wine. We ended up eating at the bar because we were enjoying the conversation with another couple, the staff and the owner. My wife ordered a burger and salad. She loved the burger and it was so satisfying the salad came home in a box. I ordered the pot pie which too was excellent. We also had a taste of an apple pie bourbon drink creation that finished off our wonderful dining experience. We will not wait long before making reservations to enjoy another meal here. I highly recommend reservations because this is an intimate place and if you don't want to possibly be disappointed plan ahead. I think we were blessed on a Friday night to have such a fantastic experience.

Wonderful, unassuming spot in Bright. Have had two completely different items and both were equally amazing. The first visit I had the specialty roll of the day - seared beef Korean roll. The roll was expertly prepared and all ingredients perfectly complemented one another. This sushi was on par, if not better, than that I have had in Tokyo. The second visit was the Butch Burger. The meat was wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the peppers were as good as the meat itself. I can't wait to go again and continue to explore this diverse, exquisite menu.

I ate at this restaurant tonight with my husband and another couple. We drove 35 minutes to get here based on our friends' suggestion. We were familiar with Vitor as we had eaten at his previous restaurant in Cheviot. Vitor's has a very nice patio that appears to be new. There was quite a bit of construction material as they are planning an expansion starting tomorrow. We had reservations as suggested since the current space is on the small side. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server Noel. There is quite a selection of beer ,wine and cocktails available. I ordered a Citron fizz that was a little too sweet for me. My husband ordered the hamburger for his entree and he said it was really delicious. It came with a side of fries that were well-seasoned and sprinkled with parmesan. My friend ordered the salmon sashimi which she enjoyed and said that tasted very fresh. I ordered the shrimp pad thai. It was a very generous serving of noodles. I was disappointed that the shrimp was battered and fried as I was looking for a healthier option. I also would have preferred bigger pieces of vegetable in my dish. The service was on the slow side. Our server told us that they will be open during their construction with a limited menu that will be served on the patio and cooked in their food truck. This place is really out of the way and I doubt that I would return in the future.

I am not a whiskey kind of girl nor a long island tea kind of girl however, I tried my boyfriends Bulleit Tea and could barely taste the whiskey, it was mixed so well that it was actually something I would drink. I ordered the Tre Agave Margaritas and these are by far my favorite around town. Sushi was amazing, we ordered the surf n turf roll and compared to the authentic restaurants around where I work, I will be back for sushi and margarita nights often. My boyfriend ordered, I’m not sure what it’s called because it wasn’t on the menu but it was prime rib, sausage, peppers, onions and few other things in a house made Mac n Cheese. It was an amazing Mac n Cheese. I ordered the bacon wrapped wagyu medallions that came with chefs smashed potatoes and fresh green beans which was amazing as well, and for dessert we had the French toast which was also equally amazing. All in all we had an amazing night and will be back again. If I could change one thing about the night it would probably have to be the service, while she was very pleasing and knowledgeable of her chef and menu, we had to wait for drinks, when we sat down it took 15 minutes for someone to ask if we needed a drink and after we finished the first drink it took about another 10-15 before she came back to see if we needed another, it started to pick up later after our meal was served but it’s hard to rate anything lower than a 5 star because the food, atmosphere and drinks were extremely up to par. Maybe it was just a bad night but we will be back to see if the service changes any.

VITORS, Creatively Refreshing! If your not willing to pay $13 for a Grass Fed Angus Gourmet Burger, either chose something else off their eclectic menu or go to Mcdonald’s across the street! BUT… If you want to treat your pallet with something fresh from the mind of Chef Vitor than please give VITORS a try. This is my wife and I’s go to when we are craving Duck, Seafood Pasta, Chicken Saltimbocca, freshly made Sushi/Sushi Rolls and more. The Chef and his wife have converted this Bright Indiana roadside restaurant into a cleverly designed Food Oasis. His food creativity is refreshing and desperately needed in our mundane world of fried bar food and all too common chain food restaurants. Try the delicious small bites like the Creole Stuffed Mushrooms or the Candied Braised Brussel Sprouts (I’m not even a Brussel sprout fan and love these). The Wild Mushroom Pork Scallopini entrée, the Lamb Shank Stew or something else off the continually changing menu in this farm to table type atmosphere. VITORS also offers a fun Chef’s Table experience (advance reservations required) or the Chef’s Choice- 3 course dining menu (let the Chef choose the cuisine and what you will be eating). They offer daily food specials and even daily themed specials (burger night, ½ priced sushi night etc). I do not believe you will find a similar dining option within 20 miles, in any direction, of this delightful little place. VITORS has never disappointed us and is worth spending the few extra dollars. We hope you stop in and are pleasantly surprised by one of our favorites!

This is the BEST place to eat in the tri-state. If you haven’t been there, do yourself a favor and get there. I highly suggest the sushi. But the rest of the menu is to die for, the chef is a wizard. All I can say I gave 5 stars and would give 10 if I could. I’m not related or affiliated in anyway just know high quality for great value when I get it. VITOR is more than a contender against the best chefs in the Midwest.

Just so you know, I give far more favorable reviews than negative ones. My husband & I have been to Vitor's 4 times. Nice bar & friendly staff. However, food is not amazing or anything close. Food is fair & service is meh. I had the Seafood Pasta- it was $ 26 w no bread or sides. Not remarkable. My husband ordered rack of lamb, also not amazing. We ordered bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer. Please note "s" usually means plural, as in more than one. For $13 we received ONE (half dollar sized) scallop atop some conglomeration of I'm not sure what. That was disappointing! Dishes were not cleared until we asked. 2nd round of drinks was slow. Strange menu: hamburgers to duck? I don't mind paying high prices for great food, service, etc. But not here, ever again. Sorry, Vitor. I just looked at the menu for Vitor's on Google. That was not the menu we were given. That one looks better. I understand part of this type of restaurant is that food offerings change, but based on experience, I would hate to risk my money.
