Great menu of interesting sandwiches. All the ones we tried were excellent and filling. We also had an outstanding salad and decadent milkshakes. The pretzel appetizer was incredible but so huge three of us only got through half of it. Cool location in the heart of Kent. Take out or eat there.

we have been eating here since we moved to the area 2 years ago and whenever friends or family come over we eat here. always good and made right. staff is friendly and quick. in the summer you can eat inside or outside, they even have takeout available

The menu honors famous Kent State alumni, a perfect fit for the college community, and the creative eats are even better than they sound! Everyone in the family, from the 10 year old to the grandparents found something good to eat. I went with the James Harrison and loved every bite. The service was fantastic as well.

Absolutely love melted cheese! And Twisted MELTZ has their own unique twist on it. Each sandwich is named after a celebrity. Several from Fox 8 as they have been here a few times. Certainly worth stopping into this place along Acorn Alley. It has indoor as well as outdoor seating. A bonus is their tator tots! Not that many places serve these, and very few serve them well. Twisted MELTZ does it right

When we get Twisted… I always think James Harrison. James Harrison amazing Kent State Football star whom always got Twisted playing our unfortunate Brownies and in so many of those big games for the darn Squealers. Fitting name for this top notch sandwich that always delivers and never stops surprising you with value and intensity. If you like burgers YOU will love getting Twisted with a James Harrison.

Terrible service! Waited over 45 minutes and still never got our food. Sorry, but no grilled cheese is worth that kind of wait. When I asked for my money back, I got a lecture on how their "system" works. Your system doesn't work! I won't ever go back because the staff was rude and cocky. Response to owner comments: Being busy on move in day does not excuse the rude service. Also, If you're taking 45+ minutes to get food out, you need to let customers know that up front so we have the option to go somewhere else before ordering!

Incredible little place! Had a sandwich on a pretzel bun, with ghost pepper cheese, habanero jack cheese, spicy aioli, and tater tots. Very spicy but still filled with flavor!

We ordered a couple of sandwiches. Staff were very friendly and provided great service. There are a ton of choices with a variety of breads, cheeses, and toppings. The onion rings are cooked in a beer batter. The tater tots were crispy and delicious. We will be back.

The menu is original and impressive. The server was a little unfriendly but professional. The portions were generous and the food was delicious and satisfying. It would be nice if the sandwich prices included fries, but the kids menu choices include fries and a drink at a good price. Clean, fun atmosphere and although we did not order dessert, they have a great I've cream and shake menu also!

Good food but prices are high. You have to pay extra for fries. After sandwich, fries and drink you're looking at $11-$14 depending on the sandwich. Dinner prices for lunch food.

I ususally have a good experience but today wasnt good. They gave my food to the wrong table and then tried to give that food to me. The guy claims the table didnt touch it but theres no way he could know that. Thats food service 101, you cant give food to someone that was touch by another customer. It makes me question their other food safety practices.

The food was amazing. I got a strawberry milkshake and my boyfriend got a chocolate one. They were both really good and we both got the loaded tater tots which were amazing. He also ordered a Don King and let me have a bite it was great. Service was really good and they were really nice. They had really sticky floors that looked like they haven't been washed in a bit but besides that it was a really good experience and I can't wait to come back!

Was there last night! While ordering the young lady at the counter decided to answer the phone! Needless to say my sandwich was wrong because she did not listen to me...so my son took it up and they proceeded to removed the items from my sandwich and hand it back to him. I'm sorry but that is unacceptable to me so I took it back up and the young man who took it was rude and so was the young lady who got it wrong..so for what ever reason spite maybe I waited approximately 15 to 20 minutes for a new sandwich! Really? This really disappointed me I liked Twisted Meltz! I bought my daughter there because she has never ate there before.. so if that's how they treat customers because their sandwich is wrong and don't want the items just taken off (please remake my sandwich) then I guess Twisted Meltz is not for me.

Funky grilled cheese. All of the sandwiches are named after famous KSU alumni. Mine was yummy but I can't remember the name other than Dri. Panko crusted chicken with cheddar, provolone, ranch and provolone fried wedges on a pretzel bun. Yum! Sweet potato fries were the best I've had in a while. Located on Acorn Alley. Fun atmosphere. We went there for a Harry Potter fest. It was super busy but the employees were still super pleasant and nice. Even with a line out the door the wait couldn't have been more than 20mins. Now on to the food. The melts were so...so good. I'm from Cleveland and seriously considering driving back to Kent just to eat there again lol. Also nothing was bank breaking! This is seriously the best food find I've experienced in a long time!
