Walked in to try for the first time. After waiting for a moment the host came over and greeted us while looking confused and judgmental and said hello do we have reservations? We stated that we were just passing by and wanted to try out a new place. We checked out the menu online before going in it seemed a little pricey but we were in! Dress code was casual but some diners were dressed a little more business with button ups. My friend and I had in a t shirt and jeans and the host did as well. The host said that they would try and find us a table. They returned and showed us a high top seating area with no chairs? I had my baby with us and she needed fed also. I explained I couldn't nurse her while sitting there. The host then said "You can put that baby there". It felt to me that the host was not happy with me being there. The host then stated that they would look for a table for us. I tried to leave and I felt very claustrophobic and had to touch bodies with a server on my way out because of the narrow walk way in between the bar and tables. I then left feeling very judged and uncomfortable. I almost wanted to cry. I have gone down town short north for many spontaneous foodie dinners with my friends and family and we mostly always find wonderful places! The moment I stepped into the Rossi I felt judged and unwelcomed and I will not be returning.

Hate leaving a bad review. We wouldn't go back unless it was our only available option. Food was ok and bad in some circumstances. Pretty sure we were served fries from 3 hrs ago. Service was rough. Limited wine selection.

First: the BEST fries in Columbus, hands down. A coworker recommended the Rossi Happy Hour on this fact alone, and I was not disappointed--I could probably drink the garlic aioil that they serve with it! A friend and I went for happy hour and were a little disappointed in the drink specials, but the food made up for it. We split the buratta and stone fruit appetizer and it was delicious, I won't go back again without ordering it. We both had the burger and fries for dinner and as I said above, the fries are absolutely delicious. The burger was solid, too and I'd order it again. Best part? Dinner with an appetizer at under $15 each.

Love The Rossi. Amazing food, excellent service, with a chill vibe. Sit at the bar. The menu changes periodically but the pizza (prosciutto added to a margherita or NY style with sausage are favorites), Rossi burger, grilled prosciutto wrapped ceasar salad, black pepper feta and golden raisin salad, and the French Fries are killer. As are the fried chicken sandwich and meatloaf sliders when you can get it! It's one of the few truly "city" places we have to hang out. Shout out to Carter and Coty and the whole crew for always making us feel at home! But also shout out to Carter and Coty specifically because they are the best. For real. The best and most important reason we keep coming back

To say I love The Rossi is an understatement. As soon as someone so much as mentions "Short North," I'm already twisting their arm to take me to The Rossi. I still remember my first meal there - I enjoyed a lobster cake appetizer, one of the best burgers I've ever had as my entree and the most amazing cake for dessert to share with friends. Not only was the food fabulous, but the cocktails were, too - simply the best. The waitstaff is charming, efficient and very attentive. Just writing this review makes me realize just how much I want to go back. SOON. I really can't recommend this place more highly!

This place is so special for my husband and I. We had our first date here and wedding dinner. We go back for anniversaries and always try to sit in our special spot- the really fun round table! We initially went here on that first date because of the food. Amazing! They have the usual staples we always have to get- french fries, lamb lollipops, meatball... But also always a delicious daily special. And the atmosphere unique and comforting and service is fantastic and welcoming. Eat here!

Sad I have to give this a one star but it's simply because the second you start to sit down someone will come to push you to order your main course. The attempt to push you out is so insulting and rude. The food here is a 5 but the woman constantly coming back to our table to push you out is honestly so bad. I'll never go back, they need to treat their customers better.

The Rossi is a great neighborhood spot, good food, good drink selection, good vibes and character. It's one of those places in Columbus that everyone should try at least once. They are also really good for late night food on the weekend.

My girlfriend and I got 2 regular entrees, a dessert, and 1 drink. She got the fish of the day and I got the duck pot pie. The food was pretty fancy and pretty damn good, but the portions were less than filling. Dessert and drink were only acceptable. The service was good. I appreciated the atmosphere and the modern, slightly eclectic menu. Really my big complaint here was the cost. At this price point, I expect every part of my meal to be phenomenal. There are a number of amazing restaurants on High Street that offer better food and better service at a lower cost. Maybe the experience would have been different if we skipped the fancy dinner and just got a pizza and some beer.

Had a blast with friends here on Friday. It was packed but we made a reservation and were seated right away. Had a great waitress who was busy but made time for us and our food came out relatively quickly. Delicious things to eat! No one was disappointed with their service or their food. We will be back again soon!

If you love a warm environment, classy yet casual, with a bit of a sexy vibe... If you love pizza made from the hands of God... If you love a fantastic bubbly rose... Don't waste another minute and get your tukos to Rossi. Seriously yall, I crave this place. I have not had a bad experience. Anytime I've come it's been for appitizers, pizza and drinks. I don't even know what other sorts of food they offer, it doesn't matter (sorry Chef). The pizza is hands down the best I've had in Columbus in its category (thin crust, organic, fresh, fire cooked). 100% perfect for date night, outings with groups, co-workers, or a nice spot for a traveling traveler. GETCHYASUM! And if you message me, I will most likely meet you there..

Great service and food! The new chef comes up with some different dishes, such as the fabulous octopus drizzled in green apple tzatziki sauce I had while there. The place is reasonably priced, and has a nice selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. The music was enjoyable, and not too loud. Overall, great place with a cozy atmosphere for a date night out.

Unexpected late night stop for 2 after our initial restaurant and plans were thwarted by an unexpected closed on Mondays. We were sharing everything, and sitting at the bar. Had the lamb lollipops, (As always. Don't miss) and the meatball appetizer, served along side a prosciutto wrapped Cesar salad and a side of fries. Perfect amount of food, served fast, cooked perfectly, with concise, unobtrusive service. Bartender/Server was named John.

Happy hour was good. Great prices on well drinks. Pizza was not really my style but was ok. I also accidentally left my bank card at the restaurant,when I called them to ask if they found it they said they had one but were too busy to check the name on it and they would call me back. They never did, I just ended up driving downtown again a half hour later. When I asked in person they said they had to find it.

Always been a favorite years ago. I always remembered it as being really busy and filled with all the young hip crowd of foodies. We finally had a chance to go back and it didn't disappoint. The place looked the same and maybe a little worn from years of serving the Short North but the food was delicious. They still have their signature lamb lollipops for appetizers as well! This time we had their prosciutto wrapped ceasar salad and i had their meatloaf. Delicious! My wife had the pasta of the day which was labster mac n cheese... wow! I won't wait as long to eat here again.

We found Rossi just before a down pour and it was the perfect hideout from the rain. Leslie was friendly and very accommodating. The food was superb. I ordered the pasta special which came with a roasted red pepper creme sauce which was amazing--not to heavy with excellent flavor.

First time in Columbus and loved it, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and always smiling! You MUST try the burger, it is one to be remembered. Got in around 8 and saw many plates going out and being devoured so there were obviously lots of other great choices on the menu. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the overall feel makes it easy to just sit back and relax. If I lived in Columbus this would be on my list of regular visits, should you be in town drop in and I think you’ll feel the same.

Everything was excellent. Lamb lollipops were tender, cooked perfectly. The grilled Caeser had some char but wasn't wilted - well done. And the prosciutto and ricotta pizza had a great dough. Really impressed with everything. Get the Price and High Mule cocktail!

The staff is extremely friendly, and food was great American fare. Definitely looking forward to coming back. The burger is quite good, though it didn't feel like it had a signature flavor that made it unique. The Caesar Salad has a great presentation and is served with prosciutto, making it a standout. The drink I had was fine. I suspect the menu cocktails are quite good but I didn't get a chance to try them, opting instead for the bartender's choice.

I was introduced to The Rossi way back when. I use to go to get my hair done at Salon Loft across the street from The Rossi. My first love there was The Rossi burger with a fried egg on top-level the absolute best! Since that burger experience, I always order my burger with an egg. We were going to Forno but the wait was 1 hour so we decided to go to Rossi. Food was mediocre: fries are soggy, pizza was blend and literally no cheese. Brussels sprout .. is unexpected in a bad way. I’ve never left reviews on google but this place made me decide to leave one.

The food is always immaculate, the staff is lovely and sharp. The complex craft cocktails that take a while to make always love up to expectations. Laura's awesome, and it's my favorite short North place to eat, especially late night. If you want a great place to chill with a diverse selection of food and beverage, this is your spot.

This is always one of my favorite places. Nice people and a great ambiance. They have a great happy hour. It's M-F, 4-7, and it is even offered if you are sitting at a table. Most items were half off. The burrata appetizer and short rib pizza were amazing! Definitely looking forward to going back!

I'm a business man who is used to traveling and trying new restaurants. I wish i could recommend The Rossi, but i can't. The decor and ambiance are spot on. The food is not so good. Hormel pepperoni is listed on the menu as if that was a point of pride, for example. I found the food to be bland and under-seasoned. Service was lackluster and sporadic. My server never stopped by to ask about the food after a fast drop and go when she delivered it. My wine glass sat empty with no one available to order a second glass. I sat with my napkin on the plate for almost 10 minutes before someone asked if I was ready for my check. Pick someplace else than this mediocre establishment for your next meal. In Short North there are plenty of other options more deserving on your business.

Very limited choice in menu. The lamb i ordered looks great but unfortunately was tasteless, its additional side items were a bit pricey too ($5/item). Service was okay though. However, i heard Happy Hour (M-Th) might worth a try. Same as most restaurants in Short North, parking is not free there but shouldn't be difficult to find a street parking spot close by, which accepts credit cards or the ParkMobile apps. One drawback of using apps is you can't use the remaining time left in the meter but using coins/credit card are okay to add time on top of the remaining minutes to a parking meter.

Just got home after visiting your place Sat.. First time out with the wife in over 6 months...a date night. Special night as we drove 40 minutes to get there. Second time we used a groupon coupon in our lifetime and were refused when we went to pay...no sign on door and waitress did not tell us. Said it was a bar hop night...have no idea what that is. She said not tonight or Valentines Day. How the heck are we to know what night it is in short north? So after wasting our time driving down there, $10 to park, and $65 cash that was my daughters book money, we left with the whole night ruined stuck with a $50 gift card to place that I will NEVER go back to. You guys are a disgrace, a joke, and a misery of an establishment!! I will let as many people know that I can, how you ruined our week! Also, thanks for refusing to give me a to go box...I hope you enjoyed the leftovers. I should of stiffed the waitress, but I took the high road and took from my daughters book money.

I like The Rossi. When I visit the Short North, I like to visit on Sunday as opposed to Fri/Sat nights. On Sunday you can actually enjoy the venues better as the weekend crowd is all partied out. The Rossi is a neat little place on the corner. Good service and good drinks at affordable prices. Until I leave Columbus, The Rossi will get my money when I need a good place to grab a drink and good food. One thing I would do is remove the TV and play smooth jazz. Smooth jazz would set this place off. The Rossi is already a smooth place, they just need some smooth music. I like the Rossi because it doesn't have 15 big screen TV's. All in all, The Rossi is recommended.
