The house cocktails are delicious with some of my favorites being the the bourbon - its perfect and I really enjoy it even though I don't always live bourbon and the tequila - it's a tasty combination that's refreshing but a bit on the sweet side. They have a few good beers in draft as well. The wine list is extensive and can get pricey.

We were traveling Home from a trip to Niagara Falls and stopped in Columbia Ohio. We searched trip advisors for a nice restaurant and found the guild house. It was one of the best places we ate on the whole trip. I really wish that I lived closer to it so I could go there more often . The food was great service was marvelous and they even gave me a birthday treat. Don’t miss this fantastic place if you are in Columbia.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. Our compliments to the chef were met with a personal visit to the table. He was welcoming, inviting, and super down to earth. The food was spectacular and visually stunning. The beauty of the ingredients shone through, the chef's nuanced approach allowed us to fully appreciate every cut of meat and ounce of fresh produce.

Excellent service. Some diners have thought it too loud, but our group really enjoyed the atmosphere: sophisticated enough for a special occasion, but still cozy and inviting. Everyone enjoyed their meals: salmon, scallops, pork chop, and ahi tuna. The portion sizes were just right to be able to enjoy appetizers, entree, and still have room for dessert. Specialty cocktails were tasty as well. We'll go back, I'm sure!

Enjoyed The Guild House immensely! We went to The Guild House to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a marvelous evening from start to finish. Valet directly in front of the restaurant made going to a Short North not a problem. The wait staff was more than accommodating throughout the evening. We enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, scrumptious entrees and deserts along with upbeat music playing in the background! It was such a treat lending to an absolutely perfect atmosphere! We definitely will be visiting this restaurant again!!

Went here for a business dinner and was very happy with the choice. Waitress was probably the highlight, although there rest was great as well. The portion sizes we're possibly on the small side but just barely. Everyone's meal beat expectations. The ambiance is classy but not over the top. It was very busy but didn't feel too crowded. Wine list and menu is on point! Atmosphere and the service you will receive here is some of the best in Columbus, my only complaint would be portion sizes for the price. I myself tend to like a larger entree, however I understand that the restaurant and cooking staff is more aimed at providing a complex tastes in every bite (which they certainly do).

I’ve now been to the Guild House twice this month and everything I’ve tried has been great. I recommend the cheese plate, lamb chops, and the chicken roulade. They have a nice wine list and a good atmosphere. The restaurant is connected to The Joseph which has lots of cool artwork - a mini gallery. The only thing that was a bit off was our server. He seemed to not want to be there and never cracked a smile. Don’t get me wrong I am not a fan of a server that is constantly trying to be my bestie but this guy was as opposite of that as you can get.

There wasn't a time where we felt that we were being ignored or forgotten.We decided to order all of the appetizers from the "market" and "appetizers" section of the menu. Absolutely all of it was delicious, but a few of my favorites were the vegetables, brussel sprouts, butternut squash, burrata, and stuff poblano. I do not eat wagyu or the pork cheeks

Having called in for a quiet breakfast (amazing truffled eggs) I came back for an evening meal the next day. (Oysters in the top five I’ve had world wide, a a rare steak cooked perfectly and nicely warm all through). I’ve come back this morning for a final day breakfast and have not been disappointed. (Farmhouse omelette). Very smart yet relaxed atmosphere. Tasty juices and on par coffee.

Our out-of-town friends stayed overnight at a downtown hotel and chose this restaurant. We met them and drove them over and I found a metered parking space in front of the restaurant. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. We had a reservation but the place wasn't crowded. We found out they serve brunch until 3:00, and one person ordered the lobster and egg from that menu and loved it. Our waiter, Patrick, was very friendly, accommodative, and attentive. The ambiance is unique and very comfortable. We wanted to visit and talk with our friends and never felt rushed. I had a delicious lamb burger with a side item (that wasn't on the menu). It was a mashed sweet potato with butter, cinnamon, and honey which is just the way I like it. Patrick helped me with the order and wasn't fazed by my request. We even had room for dessert and I had the Apple Fritter which was very good and just filling enough. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. We were all impressed and before leaving a friendly staff person offered to take our pictures with each of our phones. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this Short North restaurant.

It’s certainly not bad... quite good, even. But I just don’t find anything on the menu to ever be very memorable. There are certainly other Cameron Mitchell restaurants with more exiting and innovative menus. The atmosphere is quite nice, though. And the staff is always top-notch.

Great atmosphere, service, and bar. The house-made gin cocktail was a highlight. The entrees and appetizers were good but nothing truly memorable or outstanding. The pea cake for dessert, on the other hand, was wonderful. Fresh mint creme anglaise on a delicate sponge with cream cheese frosting and freeze-dried peas - beautiful presentation and flavors.

One of my favorite places to dine or drink in columbus. Easy to find parking around, otherwise valet service is also available. If you like sweet wine, try the Riesling, and I have always enjoyed their lamp chop appetizer and sea bass entreé.

Visted here twice during the week with colleagues. The pretty: Promptly seated upon entering. The ambiance and the rustic decor were lovely. Happy hour is from 4pm to 6pm. Most of the food was of decent quality. Small plates. The ugly: It took a long time to take our food order. The sea bass was salty and harder than normal. The waiter did not notice the water glass had a significant crack on it and when showed after he poured water in it wondered what he should do about it.

One of the best happy hours in Columbus! And maybe the only upscale restaurant that offers a Saturday night happy hour. Can't say enough about this restaurant! Cameron Mitchell knocked this one out of the ballpark! Probably my favorite of all of his concepts. This visit, my friend and I hung out at the bar and enjoyed their Saturday night happy hour. Half off of a glass of Cakebread Chardonnay?! I'll take two please! We ordered the lamb chops that were rolled in Moroccan spices, an artisan of cheeses and fruit, brussel sprouts and ahi tuna. All of which was 50%! The Guild is the perfect place for special occasions, girls night out and a romantic evening for two. And no, not kid friendly

The brunch menu was generous, my choice was the truffle eggs. I chose over medium eggs which were place on potato cakes and covered with a gruyere sauce, asparagus and shaved truffles. My family had the farmers omelet and beef hash which where very appealing to the eyes and tasty. James was very professional and courteous. The atmosphere was pleasant and the music was good.

This is another fine dining restaurant that my husband and I want to repeat. Everything on the menu sounded tempting and picking out our final choices was the worst part, because it all looked appetizing. Execution was flawless and service was friendly and very knowledgeable. The staff understand the ingredients and recipes well, providing enjoyable tableside conversation.

The Guild House is a trendy and upscale restaurant in the short north. You will need to valet your car, and I'd also recommend making reservations. This place is great for date night or a special occasion, but has a nice happy hour if you can make it there. I really enjoyed the cocktails, most of the small plates, and the scallops. I personally didn't enjoy the lobster toast or the lamb burger, but my companions did. I would highly recommend the guild house and am excited to go back!

$9 for a smoothie was a bit extreme for what we got. The pancake breakfast was supposed to come with lemon curd, of which there was very little to use with four pancakes. And the pancakes were supposed to come with fruit. There was one blackberry, one sliver of a strawberry and a single blueberry. Wow, three tiny pieces of fruit. This restaurant prides itself on setting expectations and missing them thoroughly it would seem. Oh, and the amount of syrup they give you was about half of what I would expect, especially since there was one small spoonful of curd to use. Overall The Guild House was an expensive disappointment.

Another great restaurant in the short north area . Apparently one guy has multiple concepts here and the two we ate at are both amazing including the Guild house . We made reservations late in the day so we could only get a 430 reservation which worked perfect for us because we going to the hockey game that night . Come to find out from 4 to 6 is there happy hour so all options in the raw, market and appetizer section were half off . Really great. Due to the happy hour special and the amazing choices we went with these. The oysters were fantastic . They had a peach granita on top which was both delicious and very refreshing . Also had the local waygu beef . Ordered medium rare and came out at the temperature requested. Very good as well . Pork cheeks were very tender and served with a tomato sauce and spaghetti squash noodle . Definitely check any of Cameron Mitchell restaurants. Both that we ate were amazing

If you are staying at LeMeridien you should definitely try this fantastic restaurant. The food is very flavorful and the service is good. It is busy many nights but you should be able to get a table. I had the tuna ribbons which has fresh tuna and avocado that was perfectly spiced to make a great starter. The entree and desserts were also very good. The service was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs.

I have been to this restaurant a dozen of times over the last two years. Food is very good; it is a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, so do not expect anything creative; atmosphere is excellent. It is suitable for business and personal dining. The appetizers are particularly good. Then, why not five stars? Well, my guests received old fish last time I went, which was a bit of an embarrassment. The strength of a Cameron Mitchell place should be in its consistency.

I stay away from making poached eggs because making them is a royal pain and it takes a skilled hand to get them even close to right, they came out perfect. Really good quality food, and the service was top notch-- from the friendly host who greeted us at the door, to our attentive and sunny server. The cocktails are worth every dime! (Tequila w/strawberry and jalapeno was exquisite).

I’ve now been to the Guild House twice this month and everything I’ve tried has been great. I recommend the cheese plate, lamb chops, and the chicken roulade. They have a nice wine list and a good atmosphere. The restaurant is connected to The Joseph which has lots of cool artwork - a mini gallery. The only thing that was a bit off was our server. He seemed to not want to be there and never cracked a smile. Don’t get me wrong I am not a fan of a server that is constantly trying to be my bestie but this guy was as opposite of that as you can get.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary at the Guild house and let me tell you . . . it was a very nice experience. Although our food was pretty good, what really struck me was the service we received from the staff. I booked a reservation via OpenTable. In my reservation, I included a note that mentioned it was our anniversary – thinking who knows, maybe they’ll do something special to help us celebrate. We arrived to Short North about a half an hour too early for our reservation. However, on the drive over, I was able to give them a call and move the reservation up without any issues. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile and a “happy anniversary!” Soon after we were seated, the waiter brought us 2 classes of champagne on the house – which was a nice touch! And we also got treated to a free dessert of our choice after the meal – the torte was delicious! We also ordered 2 cappuccinos and they were quite good! We’re considering coming here again – even if just for coffee and dessert. Super cool place with exceptional service.

This is definitely a place anyone who has the opportunity to experience should do so. The mixed drinks here are the most unique that I have ever had in Columbus. The service here is very accommodating and knowledgeable of the meals that are being served that day. There is valet outside, and across the street, a parking garage. Park street also has metered spots, but make sure you pay attention to the signs. The Food here is both delicious and adventurous. I have always had a great meal and experience when dining at The Guild House. RECOMMEND.

Visited the Guild on multiple occasions for brunch and really enjoyed it. The food was always fresh and flavourful. Last night, however, we went there for dinner and were really disappointed. The restaurant was not packed, since it was a weeknight. The server was very slow and forgetful.. We waited to put the entree order in for about an hour and a half. But the biggest disappointment was the food. We ordered seasonal soup (creamy corn) for appetizers, sea bass and chicken roulade for entrées. It all tasted incredibly bland...

We had family in town visiting us and decided to reserve the private room at the Guild House. The private room is beautiful, quiet, and perfect for an intimate dinner. The service was also impeccable! There wasn't a time where we felt that we were being ignored or forgotten.We decided to order all of the appetizers from the "market" and "appetizers" section of the menu.
