A fine experienced at this olde world type diner. Service was fine, coffee fresh and surprisingly good. I had the corned beef omelette with home fried potatoes which I felt was a little bland. Pricing was fair about 10 bucks a piece for two full breakfast and coffee. I would go here again if I'm in the area.

Eggs were under cooked, sent them back, then over cooked. Asked for orange juice they had orange drink or something so I said no thanks I'll just have water n was charged .50 cents for the water. (Smh) I wont be back.

I have been here quite a few times now. Never had a bad experience. They are super nice. The food is pretty yummy. The chicken biscuit was delicious. The kids hamburgers are huge. Just a heads up!

Its your usual family diner. Nothibg fancy. Just comfort food. I'd say its pretty alright. French toast was alright, little soggy but good. Sausage was good too. I mean 4 sausage, 2 French toasts, and 2 eggs for $6.99? Cant beat that.

If you like old school, this is the place. Nice people, good hearty good at very reasonable price. I had the Garden Special. M - F, $4.99. 3 eggs, toast, choice of bacon sausage ham, home fries. Better than Bobs. My check was $7.76 with coffee. Warm inviting place, great coffee, fast service, park at the door. Close to west 130th. If I lived closer I would be there at least twice a week.

We are plain folks and we love the homey almost small town atmosphere at The Garden. The food is good and the portions are generous especially for the modest price it comes with. Go early and try one of their outstanding omlets. Heck show up late and try one they'll fix you breakfast whenever you want it. PEACE ✌

This is a great family owned restaurant with very good food and plenty of it. It's not a "blue collar" place, but also not a white linen high end dining experience. It is an unforgettable and delicious experience. The service is exceptional, as are the very competitive prices. Even cheaper than a lot in most cases. This is an old Pizza Hut that has been converted and improved upon overt the 25 or so years it's been a REAL restaurant! They can do small to medium groups, with notice. I've been here with 11 others in my group. It was hectic and we had 2 waitresses and about 5 tickets. Not one problem with the tickets or the orders. They do breakfast all day. I go here about 2 to 3 times a month and am never disappointed. Try it and I'm sure you will also become a regular too.

I stopped in to have breakfast before a busy day at the mall. I was promptly seated and offered coffee if I wanted any (Pleasant tasting, not burnt) with creamer and sugar. I ordered the Western Omelet (without ham) so I could accommodate my eating habit which came with homefries and toast (or could sub a muffin) The portion was HUGE (picture is 1/2 of it!) It's well worth stopping in, if you are in the area. Bonus points to the hostess for Answering the phone, taking an order, ringing me out, and assisting another WITHOUT issue.. way to multitask!

I love this place! Always have great food and every waitress I've ever had has been great! We have breakfast there quite often. I am editing my review from 5 stars to 3 due to my worst experience there today. My son loves spaghetti which he has had here in the past. Today it had a strange smell and tasted like it may have been old. It had a strong vinegar taste. I didn't want my son to eat it, but he would've had a fit if taken away. The waitress was willing to take it off the bill, but the hostess insisted otherwise. The hostess is very rude. I don't know how she has been there so long. I asked to speak to the manager and she tried saying she was. So because of her we will no longer go there. Because of her they lost our business. And I'm sure she doesn't care.

Have been eating here, off and on for the past several years. The food is superb, as is the service. Pricing is vey competitive, lending towards very cheap. This is NOT A CHAIN restaurant. It is family owned and has been in business for well over 30 years. They are now only open for breakfast and lunch, unfortunately. They do serve breakfast throughout the day, until 3pm. They offer a very full soup and salad bar, which can be added to your entree for a small sum.

An awesome restaurant. Their soups are the best in town. Be sure your selection includes soup; if not, make sure you add it as an add on, it's well worth the money spent. As their website says, their only competition for their soup is mom's recipe.

This is a great place. They pay attention to the food, with a menu that is full of truly interesting and well made choices. I had the Kansas City hash, which was absolutely huge and I had to take a box of food home because it was more than I could eat. Not a thing to say bad about this place except that they are too understated. They are truly a pinnacle in their category.

Second time visiting the Garden Restaurant on one of our Sunday morning tradition breakfast out. Love this place. Great prices and food to go with it. We both tried the EYE OPENER.. 2 pancakes (Hub got French Toast) 2 eggs 2 sausages 2 bacon= 5.99. Shut the front door! I couldn't have cooked it myself for that price. Our service was also great. She didn't bother us and came to the table at perfect timing. 5 stars and will return.
