I got the nooner and it was delicious. Best chicken I've ever had. I definitely want to try their chicken and waffles dish next time.

The environment was cozy to borderline cramped... the waitress was nice. Now the CONS! The food was terrible. Had brunch the chicken & waffles or should I say 3/4 of a waffle because that's what they serve you. And as far as the chicken goes it's hard to explain but I prefer my chicken breasts and thighs with bones in them not chicken parts put together and fried?... the deviled eggs were too salty the grits were ok but a few degrees above room temperature. The avocado toast was ok but I've had better. To sum it up idk what the fuss is about this place I considered it a waste of money and my time... I'd prefer zanzibar or even Chicago chicken n waffles any day!

We were in town visiting my parents and were looking for somewhere to eat in Ohio City before going to Forest City Shuffleboard. A quick Yelp search led us here. Yelp did not lead us wrong. We made a reservation and were seated right away when we got there. The service was great. They were attentive and our food came pretty quickly. They start you off with complimentary biscuits with apple butter and rosemary butter. They were quite tasty. I got the sunrise and my husband got the bird on a bun. The sandwich was huge and it was a ton of food. It was definitely good, but a little heavy on the mayonnaise based products which I felt like masked the taste of the chicken. The fries were good. I really liked the sunrise. The egg, sweet potato, and fried chicken were a great combination. Overall, I loved this restaurant and would definitely recommend checking it out!

A couple anniversaries and no specific celebrations except the fact that we can ALL still enjoy GREAT food bcuz our tastebuds are in tact!!! Our group got a dip for an appetizer and it was mouth-watering. We got the peanut hummus which was a rich dip served with pita style bread, seasoned with an array of spices. Highly recommended.I had to try to chicken and waffles (Mornin' chicken dish). Rosemary waffles?! Superb.

The chicken is absolutely out of this world. The best I have ever had. Next are the waffles, fries, cold slaw n the different sauces served with their catfish and other meals. Definitely recommend. The atmosphere is so nice as well.

EXTREMELY disappointed with our brief time here. Myself and my girlfriend arrived with nobody there to greet us, this was okay but before my girlfriend could ask if we could get a drink at the bar we were ordered to go and wait by the door by the very hostile manager, for someone to seat us. When we got to the bar and ordered our drink we were told we could sit outside but when we sat down a young girl came over to tell us her manager had said we couldn't sit here incase people wanting dinner wanted to sit here. So apparently the $50 we wanted to spend in drinks isn't as good as the $20 the diners will spend on a meal? I feel sorry for the server as she was actually very polite and her boss the hostile manager couldn't be bothered to tell us herself. I would like to add here that in order to get outside we walked past 9 empty tables inside and 2 empty tables outside, but we were promptly and pathetically moved 5 minutes after sitting down. The real joke is on the hostile manager of this place who can explain to her boss that she cost this place a $200 tab because myself and my girlfriend were celebrating her completing her degree and wanted to have dinner and lots of drinks to celebrate. The second the manager was rude to us we decided that we didn't want to give her our business. Congrats to the manager, for someone who works in the service industry you've done a really good job of driving away our business.

Ordered the deviled eggs from the snack portion of the menu. Highly recommend them - so tasty and a staple of my childhood, really such a special dish. The egg yolk was fluffy and buttery, and the Paprika seasoning added another level of flavor. Overall, you must order the deviled eggs, you will not regret it.

Amazing Chicken! Just do it!! I go here regularly because it has excellent food and service. They do get busy and pack the place, but it's because the food is top notch. Great vibe inside, with unique CLE decor on the main wall. Staff are always friendly even though you know they are swamped with tables

Soho has the best grits I've had so far in the Cleveland area. As someone with proud southern heritage, this is the highest compliment I can possibly give. These grits are creamy, cheesy, and have a light spice. Do yourself a favor and order a side of grits with whatever you get!

This place is really good. The drinks and service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Came for weekend brunch and the food tasted fresh and delicious. I recommend to try a few things because my wife's parents came over from NYC so we ordered 4 different meals. Each dish was tasty in their own way. Also, we ordered a side of the bourbon maple sausages. They are to die for. Lol. We were going to order the beignet but we were already full. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful We will definitely be back soon!

Visited this place for brunch and my expectations were blown away. Great service. I appreciated that all the waiters will fill an empty glass of water, even if it’s not their table. It seemed they went out of their way to provide great service. The brunch menu has enough options, but not so big that it’s overwhelming. We were brought biscuits for the table with rosemary butter and apple berry jam. The were amazing, and of course the main courses were fantastic and above any expectations we had. Thank you for a great experience!

Oh my goodness, this is probably my favorite restaurant in Cleveland right now. I love chicken and waffles. This takes chicken and waffles to another level. I thought rosemary waffles would be nasty, but they were absolutely delicious with the chicken. The chicken portions are huge; I got 2 pieces but was stuffed after one.

The food is delicious and the chicken really shines. Homemade biscuits are served at every table. They have an impressive whiskey and bourbon list as well as a few creative whiskey cocktails. Drink prices are a little high but on par with the neighborhood. Service was fine but honestly none of the service staff seemed happy to be there.

I've always had the ideology that the best is yet to come. I couldn't deem anything the best because there is no way I could affirm without doubt that what I had just experienced was the best there is. SOHO Chicken + Whiskey smashed my ideology to complete bits tonight. My wife and I ate our meal audibly swooning over it's tender, flavorful and perfectly paired artistry. The cocktails were imaginative and thirst quenching, the smothered Hush puppies with cappers were exciting and the main course was dumbfounding. Bravo SOHO, your customer service, food and atmosphere have raised a new standard in expectations for this food lover.

It seems like whenever I get invited to brunch, I always end up at Soho. I think at this point I may have tried everything on the menu at least once. Service is good and reliable, drinks are strong and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. You are always served warm biscuits with butter and jam which are both wonderful. I will say their menu can be a bit on the heavy side, with majority of dishes having a fried component, but if your'e out for brunch you should live a little. My two favorite dishes are the shakshuka, which I have tried to replicate at home many times, and the chicken-fried pork salad. Very different from one another but they are both oh so tasty. Soho is a good place for a taste of the south and a stiff drink before noon on a Sunday.

This spot has great food. It used to be a favorite brunch spot, but lately the service seems to have become less hospitable. When we call to make a reservation the staff has outright hung up on us. We love the food but it’s not worth the hassle of trying to get in.

SOHO has the best fried chicken in Cleveland. The hot version is delicious, but their hot sauce adds some extra zest for me. Wednesday's a la carte options even allow you to mix and match sides, from the rosemary waffle to the cheesy grits. The cocktails deserve a mention as well. You really can't go wrong; the Augusta, New Orleans, and Manhattan are all perfect. If you like either of SOHO's namesakes, make sure to try it.

The name is perfect bc their chicken is amazing, nicely seasoned, &crispy yet the chicken was still juicy. The service was great we had a group meet here and the waiters were so polite and patient. The drinks were also good we all had different drinks & it was made well. Plus we had a bartender in our group so she even enjoyed the drinks. The food we all enjoy it was well seasoned and cooked. The only downside is the desserts, they weren’t that good it mainly consist of sugar and no flavor.

We went to brunch (I made a reservation and recommend people to do so), sat on the outdoor patio, and enjoyed most of the dishes. Everything is seasoned but not necessarily tasty. There are several delicious items for brunch- crispy beignets, cheesy grits, deviled eggs, mimosas, de la sol, gin fizz and not as good chicken and waffles, and bourbon bacon. The chicken and waffles was good the first few bites but after half the plate loss its tastiness and just seemed strangely seasoned. SoHo is a popular place and for the most part yummy and good ambiance. I recommend trying it and judging it for yourself.

This place has extraordinary southern food and is a must trying Cleveland. Be careful you'll quickly drive past it, but I recommend going in. You must try their fried chicken fried and animal fat! Also I recommend the homemade donuts with the raspberry and chocolate dipping sauce! I ate to the pain of this place and it was delightful! And the waiting staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly! Southern Yum for sure!

Highly recommended. Took the family there last week for brunch and wasn't disappointed. The food is amazing (buy a bottle of hot sauce to go), the drinks were spot on, and the service couldn't have been better. This is an Ohio City staple and one of the best restaurants in Cleveland. Even if you're not hungry, stop in for a drink....really amazing selection and ambiance (cool but not pretentious).

Such a great place. Biscuits to die for! Chicken is seasoned and fried perfectly. The sauces have an extreme amount of flavor whether hot or BBQ. The The mac & cheese has such a strong smokiness to it. And the potato salad tastes so clean. This place just knows how to conjure up flavor with everything they prepare. Went for brunch yesterday and it was ok. Met a nice couple sitting next to us who ordered after us and got their food before us. 5 top on the other side of us also got their food before ours. Both parties at some point even asked where was our food. Finally after 45 mins the very nice waitress acknowledged us and said it would be out soon. We took it to go. Way too long for breakfast.

Overall a good experience. Try to make a reservation in advance, if possible. We went at 5:30ish on a Saturday and they were already at near-capacity. All of the food was good. The biscuits are well-made. The cocktails that we had (a ginger beer based one and the one with the pickled cherry) were both above average. We had hush puppies that were well-done. Surprisingly, the chicken did not blow us away, which is why I'd give this a 4 star rating instead of 5. I had the hot chicken and it just didn't blow me away. I would have sacrificed some of the portion size for juicier and/or more flavorful chicken. I'd still go back and eat here again, but would try something different.

So glad I ended up here for my first visit on a Wednesday when they have a pick and choose menu because I wanted to try so many things. Really excellent fried chicken. Tuesday specials are great and popular, so get there a little early. We went during The Polar Vortex (no big deal) and the place was FULL! Thus once again proving Clevelanders are resilient! Patio is also great when it warms up.

Soho by far gave my palette a twist on their southern dishes. I had the sweet potato tamales absolutely delicious and filling, my date had the supper chicken ( what a sexy looking plate lol kudos to the chef). We really enjoyed our dinner! I had a crafted bonded bourbon Augusta cocktail that was really tasty to sip on! Would highly recommend to check out and try if you want a good southern cooked meal

Maybe the best fried chicken I've ever had--crispy, crunchy on the outside, thick, and really juicy on the inside. I had the "Evenin'" dinner of chicken, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Great biscuits! So-so mashed potatoes had a slight burnt taste.

Soho is always great. I had the chicken and waffles as usual. I've had chicken and waffles all over the world, and this may be the best. Everything is always fresh. The biscuits and jam are great during brunch as well. The drinks, especially the ones with whiskey are superb.

What is left to say - chicken and whiskey. This place was recommended to us from a friend in the food service industry and is one of the two restaurants I recommend to anyone visiting Cleveland. The menu is concise, but everything is worth trying. Always start with the pimentos and cheese (of course with a good drink) and follow it up with any of the chicken dishes. The best fried chicken I have every had.

Reservations a must for weekends. Staff very attentive and friendly. Party of four, each ordered different menu items and all were pleased. Two portion options for chicken dishes- priced fairly. Will return. The brunch here on Sunday was fantastic. I had a gin fizz to start. Their biscuits are delicious and I am usually not one to eat biscuits. The steak and eggs were perfect and the portion was generous. Everyone at our table of 8 enjoyed their meal.

We came into Soho not knowing what to expect, but we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. Not only does this place have the best biscuits I've ever had in my life, they have the best chicken. I will make the two hour drive from Columbus to Cleveland solely for this chicken. God forged this chicken in the heavenly ovens himself. I will dream of this meal every night for the rest of my life. If I'm ever sentenced to death this will be my last meal request. Thank you for raising my standards forever.

Chances are you will never have better fried chicken then you will have at Soho. Their varieties of chicken vary seasonly, so make sure you go often enough to sample them all! I recently had their Nashville hot chicken and it was pretty amazing. The restaurant itself is very cozy and warm, and a bit on the small side..so try to call ahead if you can. They also give you delicious biscuits and jelly and butter prior to your meal. Also, their sides are all great. Soho is definitely my favorite restaurant in Ohio City...I need to go more often!

SoHo never disappoints! Knowing that I had SoHo's shrimp n grits made my Southern husband jealous (sorry, baby) that he wasn't on this particular brunch mission. Great service and tasty mimosas to boot! Highly recommend! Oh yeah - treat yourself to the deviled eggs... So worth it.

We were looking so forward to trying this place... Planned a lake cruise with plans to hit SOHO when we were done. Got back and came to the door and it said it was closed for a private party. Now I do not be grudge them having a private event whatsoever, but we were there earlier in the day, and there was no sign letting anyone know they would not be open tonight... If you're not going to be open ...Post it on your door... We made a special trip back to go and were very disappointed that we couldn't.

If you want to go somewhere that makes customer service their first priority and flavorful food, this is where you want to be. With football fans cheering there favorite teams in the background of the laughter between you and your significant other or your close friends, it makes for a great group atmosphere. The food is some of the best I've had in Ohio and their southern dishes remind me of South Carolina so much! Best Brunch Spot EVER! To top it off, they crate from scratch recipes at least once a month that will knock your socks off. Well done guys!!
