Got the pork spatzel, pork was very good, spatzel is supposed to be dumplings, they were awful, reminded me of dried corn pop cereal. Sandwiches might be the better option.

The staff are very friendly and my order is always right. I order and pick up from there at least twice a week. They know me, and my usual order. It's a nice atmosphere walking inside. They really make you feel like family

I have been going to PJ’s for years. Since Tony took over, it seems to be our new hangout. I scheduled my moms retirement party (open house) in their party room the first of December. We had close to 75 people that attended. I also had PJ’s cater the event. The beautiful newly remodeled party room was a perfect venue for the event. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent, thanks to Ashley. We had so many compliments from everyone who attended. Many people hadn’t been there in years and was impressed. I would definitely hold more events there and will continue to support a local family owned business. Thank you Tony and Ashley for making our experience the very best!

Was visiting Ohio for a horse show and after a long day my girls and I were looking forward to a quick delicious meal. Looked up reviews on here and thought this is the place for us. When we walked in the first thing we saw was a bar which made me question the “family” atmosphere previously stated. No one created us and no sign as to wait to be seated or seat yourself. We ended up just seating ourselves since no one said anything to us as we entered. It took several moments before our server came over. The table next to us had their server taking care of them and not once did she say “your server will be right with you” or anything to appease our waiting. The server we had was very nice. We ordered loaded tots and cup of chili app’s that took over 20 mins to get , the chili smelled weird like beer, two personal pizzas and a baconator blt wrap with fries. Pretty easy order that shouldn’t take no more than 30 mins to prep and cook. Right? Wrong. It was over 45 mins for our food to come. Our server said be careful your plate is hot. I immediately thought to myself that my plate must have sat under the heat lamp while the pizzas cooked. And it did. My fries were stale and my wrap was dried out from the heat. When I took a bite of my wrap I noticed there was zero crunch from bacon. So I unfolded it and my bacon was very undercooked! The restaurant made it right by taking food off our check but what a disappointment to have such a long day and just want a quick yummy meal. Oh and the pizza was just ok. I ordered my favorite beer instead and that was even on the flat side. Geez. Get it together PJ’s

Sign says 70 cent wings so I order 6 and paid 6.99... not the first time this has happened there but I'm thinking it will be the last. Good wait staff always checks the bill for accuracy but I'm not sure that mine can do math... Very sad.

We made our first trip and probably our last. Their large variety of drinks is mostly craft beers. They have a full bar but no tonic water for a gin and tonic. The pictures on the website are great which is what drew us in. Plus we had met the owner at his previous place of employment liked him. It was prior to 2:00pm so my husband ordered 2 scrambled eggs and sausage. When they brought our food there was a small plate with one egg, another small plate with the second egg, another small plate with the sausage. The waitress indicated she had to take what she could get from the kitchen! The eggs were cold. The sausage appeared to be some sort of sliced sausage meat. Nothing like the pictures. We could see back into the kitchen when the doors were opened and there were very large stacks of dinner plates. Very confusing. With that being said I had the Italian sub and it was good.

Brought a group, they were aware we were coming. They had arranged a pasta bar for us. Service was poor, 1 server which would have been fine if we actually saw her for anything. Food was in chafing dishes but was cold. Alfredo sauce was like watered down milk and water consistancy. The server was told about this 2-3 times but she said "oh it just hasn't set up yet". One mom stirred it for over 10 minutes but it remained water. Red sauce was good but cold. Salad was iceburg lettuce mix that looked like it was expired baggies you get at the grocery store. Meatballs were cold and rubbery. Chicken was good. No drinks were given until a mom asked for pitchers of water. Cups were brought out some had ice, some didn't, not enough cups for our whole group. If you didn't get a cup that had ice you drank room temp water. Had to ask for a trash can to clear plates so the group could have room to eat the dessert we brought. Moms cleaned the area all the server would have to do was take the pans back in. Overall a poor experience considering what we have heard about the restaurant. It was many of our groups first experience there and unfortunately most likely our last.

Wonderful mom and pop business, with a great selection on the menu. The waitress was super in too, made sure our drinks were filled and offered to bring our toddlers food out first (which was completely appreciated!).

Great little family restaurant with a variety of reasonable American fare. Waitress and management were very nice and attentive! Then at 10 pm on the Saturday night we visited, it turned into a mighty fun little local roadhouse spinning great tunes and cold brews. We will go back and would recommend to anyone!

I order chicken over any other meat, including steak, so I've had it at many, many restaurants. Had the pesto tomato chicken tonight and it was the best chicken I've ever had..anywhere. Perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I may have to eat there every night.

Wonderful, casual place to eat. Good variety of food that is well prepared. I especially like the sliders and onion rings. Chicken tenders, salads and pizzas also recommended. Food arrives at the table fresh and hot. Waitstaff are nice people and the wait for food is not long. All are made welcome, from seniors to little kids.

After church this morning we decided to try a new place to see if it would be appropriate for our motorcycle group to have a dinner gathering there in the near future. It would be a great place to have a gathering other than the situation that happened this morning. My wife ask for a standard breakfast 2 eggs hash Browns meat and toast but wanted to substitute the meat with a hamburger patty. After Some clarification as to the substitution the waitress told us that we would not be charged for the meat and that a Patty could be substituted with a small charge. The food was good and served in a timely manner but when we got the bill, We were charged full price for the meatless breakfast plus $4.50 for the hamburger patty. The waitress took the matter up with the manager and the manager came back and said sorry that's the way it has to be. Fine, we paid the bill but this restaurant loses out on a gathering of probably 20 or more people for a evening dinner ride.

At 1st it seemed like it was going to be a great experience however we found that not to be so. I stirred the only cup of coffee I was given with a straw because we were given no silverware. The steak tasted watered down and the only flavor was whatever the stuff on the top was. The liver and onions was.... eh... not sure my boyfriend loves liver and onions and he said the gravy was almost like it was watered down or something.... the salad and dressing was warm not chilled. The waitress never came back until she brought the bill so we were unable to tell anyone what was going on. It wasn't that busy so not sure what was going on there.... on a bright note my son loved his burger though they put cheese on it. Luckily it was so greasy the cheese slide right off.... maybe breakfast is better but I dont for see us going back. It was the 1st time there and I'd wanted to try it for 3 years and my boyfriend has talked about it for at least 10 years.... beyond disappointed with the food and the service!

A true hidden gem of sunbury ohio!!! The only problem I had is their pizza fryer was down, ( because of a power outage) but this only forced me to get something else on the menu that was also a treat. I ordered the bbq cheeseburger with onion straws on it and it was exquisite!!! Quality beef in between that bun!!! A breath of fresh air from the fast food fare!!! Now I have to get pizza AND a burger when I go there next!!! Oh well, good food makes good leftovers!!! Btw, my waitress was amazing!! Even with the pizza oven issues, she was sincerely genuine in apologizing and offered an awesome replacement!!! I wish I could remember her name, she was there at noon....thank you unnamed waitress!!!!
