We found this little gem with driving home from an appt. It's very cozy, quaint and clean. Very friendly people too. There were alot of things on the menu. Lots of sandwiches, hits and some dinners on the menus. It took is a while to decide. I ordered the ham dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and hot sauce, rice. They're prices are great and you get alot of food for your money. All of our food was good. And I ordered and drink, my husband had water, and our bill was 17.00 and some change. Where can you go to eat, get 2 dinners for that? I don't know too many places. I know we'll definitely be back.

Wed & Fri evenings have "all U can eat" fish special. The food is very good quality and the waitress is very courteous and prompt. The "all U can eat" salad bar is also very fresh & good.

We have a really big family, they made accommodations for the 15 of us in less then 10 minutes, and this place is small, like we took up over half the diner, small. The service was really great, the food was pretty good, and you sure can't say anything bad about the prices! A really nice experience, and money well spent.

Really really disappointing experience. Was good the first time, second time was terrible. Was told when walking in that the only thing in the dinner menu they had left was burgers... so I couldn't try the chicken tenders. The cook screwed up our breakfast burritos and clearly has a bad attitude, but those were the last burrito tortillas they had so they then became tacos... which were still messed up. Then we couldn't get refills on our drinks because that was the last of the Sprite. If you're out of everything, close your doors. Felt bad for the waitress because she was great but had to deal with the terrible cook and stock issues.

Food was really, really good! Server was super sweet and friendly, and the prices were excellent. My only complaint is the more limited menu, but I totally get this is a smaller restaurant, and more selections would make things harder for the staff and probably increase costs, so I can't fault them (FYI, I'm a super picky eater, so at times it's hard to find selections I don't have to modify). I would definitely recommend this place to others and will go back again!

Old, but not good. Most of the food was under/over cooked. The Hash was inedible, literally did not eat it. Very little of the menu is made from scatch. Service was decent but slow considering the amount of people in the place. Milkshake was good.

The service was so bad, my boyfriend waited for 20 mins just to get coffee and then had to wait for toast it came after he already finished his food. The food was ok not worth the wait though.

The food was flavorful and perfectly portioned so we still had enough room for dessert. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger with onion rings and a root beer (free refills on soda). My son had a kid's cheeseburger with potato chips and chocolate milk. Price was a little less than $20. Restroom was clean. The waitress was pleasant and the entire restaurant had a friendly atmosphere. The whole place could use a renovation but I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My family and I went for Father's day breakfast. There were 3 other tables and the food seemed to take forever. The server was nice and seemed to try her best. I got the eggs Benedict which is supposed to come with homefries, when it came out there wasn't any. So I was pretty much done with all my food before the homefries came out. The sausage in the gravy was not cooked, there were multiple pieces that were pink. The server tried her best to make it right, but we definitely won't be back.

I have been here several times. They have been out of some items at times; however, they are always very apologetic. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything that I have had here. The liver and onions is the best. It's a great place to go for a great home cooked meal. The staff is great!

Loved Loved Loved This Place! Stumbled on it accidentally when I pulled into Strickland's parking lot late one morning to idle for a few and plot my course. After noticing Oldies & Goodies just behind, I checked for info and reviews online then called my son to meet there for lunch. We both ordered the current featured burger which was a half-pound patty melt on rye with bacon, grilled onions and two kinds of cheese with hand-cut fries on the side. We also got an order of onion rings to share. Our waitress, who turned out to be the owner, offered to bring the onion rings first, which we agreed sounded like a good plan. Unfortunately, a fairly large takeout order plus an order placed from the bar next door monopolized the tiny kitchen so there was a bit of a wait and all the food arrived at once, but with apologies. It was definitely worth the wait! The burgers were buttery and juicy, overflowing with flavor. The O rings were tender, crunchy, absolute perfection accompanied by an unnecessary but thoughtful side of ranch. When the owner brought our check, she had comped my iced tea as a further apology for the wait, which honestly, wasn't actually outrageously long, considering that everything was obviously made from scratch in the tiny kitchen. Even though from out of town I'll definitely be back!!

If you like beef liver and onions go to oldies and goodies... it is so tender you can cut it with a spoon... They have lots of dinners... and really good burgers... They will also make breakfast if you ask... My husband and I go get dinner there at least 3 times a week... The waitresses are really nice...

It's hit or miss. I've been here for burgers, sandwiches and breafast. The breakfast is fine, no real way to screen that up. Burger is good, if not a bit overcooked. Steak Philly was way over seasoned for my taste, and I like seasoned food. All in all a regular ol greasy spoon joint. I would not like toake a long drive for it, but if it's close, go for it.
