We get carry out from here and it is delicious. You can walk in and order with a short wait. They have the best chicken and many sides to choose from. Some of my favorites are macaroni salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, and baked beans. There is also inside seating available for dining in. This establishment is an Athens icon and has been around for over 60 years.

I love their fried chicken wings and livers. I went once and now Im addicted and keep going back. Sometimes they have a 40min wait time so beware. Hasn't been so bad since the college students left.

Miller's: If you like fried chicken, chicken parts, mac n cheese, or pretty much anything that is equal parts delicious protein, grease, and happiness, then this is the place to eat yourseld into a food coma. Fair prices. My only gripe? The only beverages are canned and a good chunk more in price than you would find at a gas station or such.

Millers chicken is an Athens institution. I remember them as a child and my grandmother wouldn't buy chicken or turkey from anyone else. I don't know if they still sell fresh poultry but they sell some fantastic fried chicken. Be prepared to wait as it is cooked to order but it is worth it. Be sure to try the potato wedges

Chicken done right! Day in and day out, they will bring to your plate some of the most delicious fried chicken and sides that southeast Ohio has to offer. They are by far the best chicken restaurant in Athens, and rival all mainline or homecooked restaurants throughout the Ohio. Do yourself a favor, and let Miller’s feed your appetite for one meal. You will thank yourself that you did, as well as make plans to return as soon as possible.

This place is hands down the best chicken shop I've ever been to. Everything is made in shop and it shows. I'm got an order of chicken tenders. These were, without a doubt, the best chicken tenders I have ever had. They were all the same size and shape, and the outside was a nice golden brown. I didn't even need to dip them in anything because they were nice and juicy and the flavor of the crispy outside was all I needed. Well untill I dipped it in some of their mashed potatoes and gravy and took a bite of the mac and cheese that I also got. Just do me a favor and go there and try it yourself. I saw some of their sandwiches while I was there and I'm going to get one of those next time. I expect it will be the best darn chicken sandwich I've had to date.

Excellent, another Hidden Gem. It's on a little side road you'll never find it unless you look for it. Unassuming brick building with a few tables and an incredibly cute young lady working the counter. Ordered a haddock sandwich, a chicken breast and a side of mac and cheese. The fish was great, they bread it themselves as well as the chicken and both were done perfectly. The mac and cheese is pretty darn good too. They also carry that iced tea with no aspartame or chemicals like natural flavors which are not natural and have no flavor. $4.50 for a nice sandwich and a couple three bucks for a big piece of chicken not bad. Forgot to take pictures of it because it was so good I inhaled it.

Miller's chicken is one of those hidden treasures in Athens. They have some of the best fried chicken and chicken sandwiches in Ohio. Everyone that works there is friendly as well. The only con to this place is that the sitting room itsself is smaller so try to not go at the lunch rush and expect to find a table quick

Hidden secret of Athens. Located on a back street 60 seconds from the fairgrounds minutes from downtown. I do believe it is a must have if you travel through the area. Everything is delicious from the chicken to the sides.

The chicken is great, there's no denying that. The toppings on my sandwich were fresh as well. As often happens with 'we do one thing and we do it great' places, something else becomes an afterthought - in this case, condiments. Our side of beautiful onion rings could have been even better with some house or local artisan ketchup instead of packets.

Athens finest. If you know about Miller's chicken you know about the best food in town period been coming here foreclosed 50 years probably. Nothing much changes, but there is no need to. No matter how small the order they are so kind and the food is always the same good quality and good taste. The girls at the counter always have a smile and make you feel welcome. The girls that are cooking always seem to be having a smile if your looking back at them through the service window. Some of them I recognized for many years ago. It's chicken and it's the best fried chicken in the area. Want gizzards? They have them. Want fried chicken hearts? Try em because they're tasty. Coleslaw, mac n cheese and other side dishes you can't go wrong with either. The service is always fast, friendly and you feel right at home in this tiny, awesome place.

This is a great hometown run place that has wonderful fried chicken, and if you love gizzards, hearts or livers, you can get them by the pound. It can get very crowded at times, but the line moves quick and you'll get hot food.

If you don't already know how great Millers is, just skip it. We'd prefer it be kept a local secret....... If you must go - be sure to try to the Super Chicken Sandwich! I get that for there and a bunch of chicken to go. The sides and pie is also amazing. I recommend call in your order because it's made to order. No warming lights here.
