Maya's has been a favorite for my family for many years. Mexican is one of our #1 types of food to eat, so we like it to be authentic and delicious. Maya makes great margaritas, has amazing queso cheese dip, guacamole and has a huge variety of Mexican dishes that the whole family can devour! So yummy!

I like the expanded menu. Great new options that taste great. Always, and I mean always GREAT service. Great value for the money, even better on the lunch specials. Honestly, I’ve eaten here 30+ times and have never been disappointed. Within the parameters of good Mexican, service, and value locally they would get 6 stars.

We were in town for a family reunion and we were looking for a place close by to eat. Since we were craving Mexican, we just googled places near by. This place exceeded our expectations! Amazing staff and no wait! The service was kind and so attentive!! Our waitress was quick to answer any of our questions and our food came out within 20 minutes of us ordering! The man carrying the food was not our waiter but was still patient and smiling, which was small but easy proof of the kindness of the staff. The food was fantastic! The chips came out immediately so we ordered guacamole. The guacamole came out minutes after we placed our drink order and was so good! We ordered a variety of different things on the menu (a salad, burritos, tacos, quesadillas) and everything was amazing, and genuinely authentic Mexican & even better prices! We came when tacos were only a dollar and the waitress did a great job of informing us. We will be coming again next year.

Very good! Been a fan of cozumels since the beginning. Long time independence customer. Live closer this location and decided to try it out. Saw some.familar faces of servers I've seen at independence. The service was good and the food came lots faster than I'm use to. It was super hot. The salsa was a little more watery than use to and lack some cilantro and flavor. Otherwise the meal was great. We'll be back!

I'm not a fan of Mexican food generally, but it's my girlfriend's favorite. This place however, is very good and inexpensive. I have tried a few of their seafood dishes, fajitas, and burritos and they have all been very good. They also have a decent selection of flavored margaritas.

We love Maya! The food is always excellent, and it's a huge plus that many of the employees speak Spanish - my wife feels more comfortable here. The last time we went we pretty much had to beg our server to give us attention (refill drinks, tortilla chips, salsa, etc), but as far as we can tell this is unusual for Maya - every other time we have had excellent service.

Great atmosphere and friendly quick service. Had the Fajita Grande . It's a great portion dinner for two. The assortment of meat and shrimp with peppers and mushrooms just all blends together so well. A great place for families and to celebrate any occasion.

Whole family became ill after eating here. Showed little/ no concerned when informed. Nasty place poor hygiene used by the waitress. Just generally an unhealthy unpeeled place of business. Is currently being investigated by health department.

The food was good and pricing was fair but I was not real impressed by the margaritas, very watered down. Once the food came our server only stopped back once to check on us and then never came back again. We sat at the table talking for about an hour and not once did anyone stop by our table to offer more water or see if we needed anything, kinda surprised by that. Restaurant is clean and location is very safe. I still recommend it and will go back myself, I would just like more customer attention.

Very comfortable place well lit, big windows. Chairs and booths. Alcohol is served. Margaritas are very good. Menu is expansive.. One of my favorites is The Rice bowl found under the title Specials. I ask for one half the amount of the rice usually served. The chicken bowl is very tasty. Their nacho chips are fresh and salsa is piquant. Good place for one or many. Service is good.

My wife and i have been dining here for over 10 years. The food and service has been spot on every time. The drinks are delicious. And the beer is always ice cold and refreshing. Even when they are slammed busy. The staff gets it done. Everyone is friendly. And you get a lot of food for the money. And its delicious!! I would give them 10 stars if i could.

Had a bad experience tonight unfortunately... food was good but hardly any lettuce in our taco salads... but tons of chicken... so great for meat lovers... we went to pay our bill and was left waiting for ten minutes without anyone even acknowledging us... girl was on the phone with an order and there was only one register to ring out on and she was using it for this customer on phone.... many other employees came up to service desk but ignored us completely... had to ask someone to please take our money... plus horrible set-up as you walk in restaurant.... very congested... feel like customer service was very lacking

Maya is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to, bar none. They have an enormous menu with tons of options from which is choose. The service is fast and friendly. The wait time for your food is also remarkably fast considering how mamy people are usually there. It is a great place for parties with lots of people. The quality is top-notch, and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Stop reading and just go!

I've been coming here for most of my life. the service here is always friendly and they always have a big smile on their face. The food is very very good and it comes out extremely fast even when they're very busy. The bar isn't all that big and only has a couple of TVs to watch but this is more of a sit-down place. if you're looking for a quick bite to eat on your lunch break I would highly recommend this one due to the fact that the service is so fast. The margaritas are on point and if you're looking for a pint their glasses are wonderful. If you have a birthday they will celebrate it with you giving you ice cream and a sombrero to wear during your meal as well as singing Happy birthday in Spanish! If your looking for Mexican I would highly recommend Maya

I have been coming here since 2010 and it is still by far the BEST Mexican restaurant in the Cleveland area....so many great items on their menu but a true treat is their homemade chicken tortilla soup.....that great appetizer paired with anything else on the menu is guaranteed to have you falling into a food coma and waddling back to your car
