At the moment this firm has a rating of 4.1 over 5 and that score is based on 488 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is quite good, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can conclude that the score is quite credible. If people have bothered to rate when they are satisfied with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Indian restaurant.
Consistently good Indian food
Excellent food and service!
They over charged us, and when we asked the cashier about the receipt he said that he deleted it, and he kept on telling that,, after some calculation of what we ordered he offered to give back what he took , you do not get to cheat me and get away with it , have some manners for God sake.!!!!!
Very good buffet in a very nice atmosphere. We will be back.
Lunch buffet overpriced for the quality and variety of food offered. Never again.
The buffet is very expensive with a limited selection of food.
I thoroughly enjoy every visit. Always a pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, and respectful employees.
Wow. I’m really hoping that we happened to visit on an off/bad day. The weather on this January Sunday was awful. Maybe they were missing g a cook?? All I know is that we paid almost $40 for two adults to eat at the lunch buffet. A terrible buffet. Look, I’ve been to some awesome Indian buffets. I’ve also been to quite a few mediocre Indian buffets. And frankly, I love Indian food so much that even the mediocre ones make for a good lunch in my opinion. But this was probably the worst I’ve experience. For two main reasons. Number one, what felt like limited selection. They had the expected saag and chicken curry and naan. But there were only three other curries and they weren’t really doing it for us. Number two, everything was so hot that it was dry. The tandoori chicken was so dry and chewy - disappointing. I will say that the people here were super nice. They saw this mama walking up with a heavy car seat and rushed to open the door for me.
This was my worst time i had ever been in an Indian restaurant , we got there nearly before closing time and staff were not welcoming they kept on saying repeatedly we have to close furthermore they charged us twice when they give you the bill it is not the total they charge 15% service added to total bill when asked the guy he said i cleared your bill
The buffet is always delicious. Worth checking out if you have not been there yet.
This North Indian restaurant is my favorite. The owners are very kind and keep a steady flow of customers coming. The food was presented in a clean and organized fashion. While one may choose spice on a scale of 0-5, I recommend at least a 2 or 3. Delicious!
Best place for Indian.
Excellent food and great service.
So good! My daughter's favorite restaurant!
Love their lunch buffet.
Excellent food, wonderful attentive service. Good price. Will return time and time again.
I ordered today through doordash the meat wasn't fresh, I wont even give it to my dog.
Love this place. Amazing food and staff
Good food
Jeet is just so good! So many options, protein wise & vegetarian too. My personal favorites are the Chicken Korma, Saag Paneer, Chicken Saag, Chef Special Nan, Nav Rattan Korma, and the Mango Lassis are yummy.
Food was cold (buffet) we never got refills . The first batch of chiken was cold but ok and the fresh hot ones tasted off like if the chicken was starting to go bad. The quality of the food has downgraded way too much over the years .The only good thing is that I realized I need to put some magazines and new curtains in my bathroom because of the time I had to spend in there from the aftermath of that food.
My favorite Indian food in the Dayton area! Everything is always fresh and delicious
I ordered an extra rice and i went to the car to check and i didn’t find it i went back and takk to them and they told me that she did put an extra rice and she was sure about it. She followed me to the car to check and then she find out that there is no extra rice and she started to say sorry over and over. The food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Im not sure if there is more than one way to make a tikka masala. Sometimes the taste bad and sometimes it taste good. This resturant is so expensive aswell
Today was my first visit and was uncertain after reading some of the reviews. Our visit was absolutely positive. Inside I was amazed with the decor and how how clean everything seemed. The staff was very nice and and responsive. Our glasses never went empty and dirty plates were removed promptly. The food was, in my opinion, very good and the buffet was well stocked. I will definitely come back in the future. Well done. Keep up the good work!
Always delicious. Love the garlic naan!!
The food is really good! But the restaurant always seems empty, almost like a ghost town. The food is expensive as well.
Service here is always wonderful and the food is so good. It is definitely one of those places I get a hankering for.
The Chicken Tikka Masala looked like square chunks of canned chicken, and tasted a little like dog food. The ambiance was a little old/ran down. The only thing I can say good was that our waitress was nice. It gets 1 star for that Tikka Masala though, that was seriously the worst Ive ever had.
Very authentic food in a sea of chain restaurants and fastfood which is beavercreek. Definitely would recommend!
Much better the second time. Better food and better service. Acceptable Indian food, but not the best that I've consumed. The server didn't ask about drinks. Part of my order was forgotten and I had to ask about it.
This place was amazing! Took my husband here for his birthday and he's obsessed. Truly authentic Indian cuisine and everyone there is so nice and friendly!
My husband and I had chaat varieties here. Excellent food, friendly service. We'll come back again!
Good food and cute staff
Lunch buffet is always tasty and fresh, and the service is friendly. One of my favorite lunch spots.
I wish I could eat here every day.
There was lipstick on the cup, rice was cold, they were rushing us to pay quickly because they were closing although we came before they close. This is the last time I go there.
I've been eating here for a couple years now and in the past the food was always good. Maybe things have changed recently or I just came in on a bad day or maybe the regular cook was on vacation or something, because the food just wasn't good. Stopped in to enjoy the weekend buffet today and the rice was undercooked and crunchy. The tomato soup, which is usually out of this world, was not the creamy goodness I'm used to. It was watered down and oily. The appetizers were dried out. The fries were cold. I really hope it's not going downhill. I used to enjoy eating here.
Was visiting dayton AFM and searched a INDIAN restaurant for lunch. Went according to the google review but the either review were fake or there was something wrong with the food the day we visited. Took buffet, but it was horrible, Literally horrible. The rice was hard as they were made of plastic, Rice in rice pudding was hard too... The nan bread were like rubber, and have few mediocre tasting dishes. Now talk about the service, had to ask for water refills several times, service staff was busy in gossip rather than entertaining the guests. Over all the worst buffet ever in US.
The best Indian food I've had. Friendly and fast carryout.
Great authentic food, good ambiance, quiet atmosphere, excellent service, good prices.
I've gone many times for the lunch buffet. The selection is great and the food is always fresh. The service is good as well.
Food taste sucks here
Good food if you were trying for good north Indian Dishes, Biryani is just like fried rice. Service wise its a good place.
Amazing food! Love the chicken tikka masala
I just ordered an 8 oz. Side of onion chutney and got charged $8.00!!!! Check your reciepts! I told them it had to be a mistake. The gentleman at the front said yes of course, maybe 2.00 or 2.50 but 8.00 too much. He got the manager and she said no 8.00 was normal and she didnt refund my money and told me to take what I ordered. Dont go here, dishonest and they will take advantage of you. I walked out and will never go back.
Delicious and plentiful!
Non preferred place for non-veg lovers..specially buffet is not worst....
One of my favorite restaurants & hands down, the best Indian in the area. Their staff is so kind and the service is always top notch. Can't beat the taste of their dishes either.
Great food always.
Food and service are great. Portion sizes are just right if you are hungry for a good meal.
My favorite lunch deals fort Indian food.
Ordered carry out. The food was delicious. Really awesome and generous portions. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Will most certainly be back.
The food was tasty and the behavior of their staff was really nice
We order take out here pretty often and are never dissapointed with it. Went to their lunch buffet a fair number of times and it's relatively sparse, food tends to be cold or looks/tastes like it's been left out the whole lunch period instead of being changed or refilled. Leaves a bit to be desired. I don't remember it being like that at their old location several years ago. Overall, pretty good spot for a quick bite.
Great food, atmosphere, and customer service. Love jeet!!
Dinner meals can be ordered at multiple spice levels. If you do not regularly consume spicy food, stick to one of the lower spice levels until you have tried the food. Service is excellent. Portion sizes are good. Buffet has a good variety of foods to eat, most of which have very little spiciness. The ice cream was not kept properly cold and had melted, so check the temperature of cold items before consuming them.
I had the worst ever experience here. Being from India I know the taste and quality of food we have. This place serves not as best as I expected or ever had with any other restaurants. The staff was not respectful. Lassi ( mango ), Sweet dish inbuffet are not to mark. Please raise ur standards and serve best please
Excellent food, a very warm customer invite. Enjoyed every dish on the buffet and value for what we paid.
Just getting in from South Korea. Excellent service and food. Staff is great. They are also willing to cook off the menu. If you want a home type enivorment and Mom's cooking this is the place.
Food is ok. Service is average. lunch buffet is a good value though.
Nice ambience, good staff, variety of food options to choose from,
Very disappointed in the lunch buffet, for the price it should have had more meats. It was practically a salad bar with only two entrees with meat and neither lamb. Probably won't go back.
Excellent authentic food. Service is very quick and servers are super nice and friendly to talk to. They have a large selection of menu items. The decor is beautiful and clean. It is perfect for families eating out. They also have a small grocery section for you to try your hand at cooking Indian food at home
I usually try to have a small taste of each thing at a buffet. Then I'll go back up for more of my favorite dish. There was nothing here I especially liked or disliked. It was all okay, but just okay. At one point, the server took my friend's glass to refill it and never returned to our table. This was the first time I've ever paid more than around $9 a person for lunch buffet at an Indian restaurant. I don't feel the quality was worth the cost.
Great food, l ok bed the lamb and Naan
Curry tastes ok but there were only small pieces of chicken. The bread (Naan?) was stale. Also, today there’s a group of 6 sitting in the middle of the restaurant taking turns playing a guitar. If you want to hold a little concert, go to a park. Do not hold it in the middle of a restaurant when others are trying to have a conversation. I know they probably wouldn’t want to ask those customers to stop so I can’t blame the restaurant for this but I would liked to have been warned before I had to sit through 20 minutes of them going on nonstop. Just looking at the looks of other customers makes me laugh at how unejoyable this lunch is. Awful experience. Just wanted to add that I never got a refil of water and she still wanted a tip... That’s he one thing the servers should do and she didn’t.
I love this place. Coming from England I'm used to having many types of curry and when moving to the USA I thought I'd be doomed and never have it again. Luckily for me I moved right next to this place and the food is awesome. The lamb and shrimp curry tastes great and the lamb Rogan Josh is out of this world. I highly recommend anyone coming here. Great service, nice place and always leave happy
I'm rating it 3 for the ambiance, clean restroom and quick service (although I needed service for water and removing of used plates only because we opted for buffet). For the price, I'm not convinced about the quality and variety of food. At least for my 5 star rating, they need to improve on taste and variety of food alot.
I love going here for the lunch bar. The chicken tiki masala is very good and the saag is amazing. The naan is good but very very inconsistent. 3/4 of the time they overcook it into an inedible crusty mess. 1/4 of the time it's delicious.
i'm a regular customer of jeet india... the food is amazing... the staffs are very friendly..best resturant in town..and no doubt i had best indian food in jeet india resturant...
My favorite Indian restaurant around. Great food and service! You can’t go wrong with the chicken vindaloo and garlic naan bread. Will routinely return!
Not real authentic Indian Restaurant. Same regular Jeera rice, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken and naans. No biryanis. Chicken was old stuff in gravy and tastes good or smelled bad. $11 buffet adult and $7.5 for kids.
Always has fantastic food at great prices. Love the saag and the paneer and spicy naan.
Delicious food and great service!
So, I really like Indian cuisine, but I'm no expert. I'm only giving this place 3 stars for a couple reasons; firstly, the food is expensive!!! I usually go to the lunch buffet, because entree prices are crazy for the quality. I've been to cheaper Indian restaurants in the Dayton area that have far better food, though the restaurant itself is very fancy inside, and usually quite clean. That's the main reason. Secondly, the owners are not very nice. My husband refuses to eat there any more, because the last time we went his drink got knocked over by the staff. He had a soda, and they do NOT offer free refills. Since they knocked it over, they gave him a replacement, which we thought was free. Though it wasn't his fault the drink got knocked over, the owner charged us for two drinks(I had free water). We tried to explain that we shouldn't have to pay for the second one, but there was no compromise. We left very unhappy. So, the food is okay, and it's very aesthetically pleasing decor, but it's not the greatest.
Lunch buffet is always outstanding- great sampling, consistent in top quality and excellent taste, and perhaps most notably for a buffet, not cold in temperature but always ideal for the dish. Staff is prompt, courteous, friendly. Seating comfortable with excellent atmosphere. There’s a party area for larger groups. Even a small grocery now.
Food is absolutely amazing but customer service is lacking. They close at 9pm but when I was there, they turned the music off at 7:30 and they all sat around talking, making it very clear that they wanted the last few people out of the restaurant. The children of one employee were running around and banging on the keys of a piano there. Better suited for take out than dining in. Update: We found a hair in our food
Absolutely delicious. My family shared from 4 separate dishes and we enjoyed them all. We will be back!
Outstanding flavors. (I generally don't like lamb but this was good.)
Absolute best Chicken Tikka Masala. I’ve had this dish in many states and other countries and it was by far the best. Perfectly cooked chicken, beautiful creamy masala sauce. The rice was fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend with a side of garlic naan. If you’ve never had Indian tea, grab a cup to sip on before your meal. It’s wonderful. Also ended up buying an entire case of their Taj Mahal beer. Pricey beer but worth it. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Will miss it when I go back to Phoenix.
The worst place anyone can visit. Their appetizers are days old, they just warm it up and serve other day. Its a best place if you want your day to be ruined.
If you want good old hamburger come see Wes. He cooks em up fresh and they have a very friendly staff. Has a pretty brisk lunch trade so get there early if possible. Yum yum. Eat em up!
I've only eaten here once, for dinner. I had my fav .... navratan korma w/ garlic naan ..... and it was very tasty. Light on cream. I ordered medium spicey. To me, it tasted mild, but was very well seasoned and delicious. The naan was lightly stuffed with a green herb, soft, and really yummy. The service was friendly and speedy. Update: Went back for their lunch buffet. It was delicious and the place was packed ($12).
Very good food
The service is poor, next to non existent. The staff is extremely rude and don't care about their customers. The color of your skin decides the service you get. Their target customers are definitely NOT Indians/brown-skinned people. The food, especially the buffet has very limited options and is not authentic nor tasty. The guy at the front desk asked me about the food and I told him that I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. He didn't even follow up to fix what went wrong. Please don't waste your time trying this restaurant, it's not worth it.
My favorite Indian restaurant in the area! Excellent food, friendly staff. It's great.!
I enjoy the food and the service is good.
This was my first time trying indian quizine. It was fantastic.
Exceptionally good food here and a very nice family that owns it. I didnt give it 5 stars purely because its a bit pricey compared to other Indian restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
Been going here since they were located on the other side of the highway. This place never disappoints. The buffet is unmatched in the area and the food from the menu is flawless every time. I suggest chicken vindaloo if you have never had Indian cuisine before!
We stopped in for lunch and I think because the buffet was available they assumed that's what we wanted. We decided to go ahead and eat the buffet since no one offered us a menu. We also had to flag down a waiter because I wanted a Coke not just water which they did provide quickly. Decent food but they do need to make sure to ask what you want.
LOVE this place.... I've been more times than I can count
I frequent the buffet at lunch time and I've never been disappointed. The options are always good and the food seems fresh and hot. It's on the mild side so you can ask for spices to bring it up a notch. Price is good too. Try not to eat too much
I was planning to visit the restaurant, but reading the reviews and hearing about my friends experience made me cancel. They were very rude to my friends and very unwelcoming. They even tried to cheat on them on the check, but my friends got them and they finally give back what they added. I’ll never try it.
Food was excellent. The chicken Tikka was very good.
The food is okay, but this place has been steadily raising their price for a while. That can be understandable, though I'm personally not seeing it as a viable place to eat regularly for lunch anymore. $12 + tax (without tip) for lunch is not worth it in my humble opinion.
Great local India. The lunch buffet is nice, but is not spicy so you have to request chili powder. Take out can be as spicy as you want it to be. Staff is always great and respectful to customers!
Lunch buffet is great
Simply the best Indian food in Dayton.
Excellent food and service. A little pricy.
Biryani was like pulao. Come on!!! Who puts peas in chicken biryani?? Will never visit this place. Service was good but definitely not recommended
Great food and lovely staff
Great food and friendly service.
Home-made Indian food that is truly the best in the Cin-Day region! The mango lassi is to die for!
I love the lunch buffet its great!
Nice place, clean, good food, friendly
I enjoyed the lunch buffet both times that I've been. Very good Indian fare. The Tandoori Chicken was to die for. Very well priced, and conveniently located just down the road from me; well within the range of my current stomping grounds.
The food was average. The service was pitiful. I had to get my fiance a menu off of the service counter because they assumed we just wanted the buffet. Still no one came to our table. So by default, and after a solid 15 minutes, my family just gave up and ate the buffet since nobody would talk to us. I had to flag some random worker down just to get refills. And once they hand you the bill they'll ignore you. Or, in this case, continue to ignore you. I am part of the service industry for over a decade and have had great success in it. I can't imagine this place being open much longer if that's how they are going to treat their guests because their food isn't good enough to overlook the poor service. The sad thing is the place looks amazing and it's going to waste on this company. But the best part about the whole visit was buying the tuxedo I'd been looking for at Men's Warehouse next door.
Biggest selection of lunch buffet in Dayton. Good quality Americanized Indian food. The atmosphere inside is more upscale than the average Indian restaurant. They have a piano inside. The price is still about the same as all other places
Pretty darn good food. Got the chicken tikka masala
Very friendly staff. Delicious Indian food. Nice dining area. Will return again. ETA: I like the food so much I had them cater my wedding. It went exceedingly well - compliments from numerous guests on the food, staff did an excellent job, very competitive pricing. Highly recommend.
We get carry out from here often and we are never disappointed! Food is always hot, our order is correct, and the staff is very kind. I always recommend this restaurant to those who have yet to try Indian food.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Dayton. Great, tasty and authentic food.
Long before our car broke down one Easter Sunday after a sumptuous Lamb (curry) feast and were offered a kind ride home from the owner, we may add Christmas to Dewalia and Easter as well as the other special days of the year we come to Jeet India family to enjoy the fiery hot and ginger in the Kadai , the flaky garlic nan, the creamy spinach in the sag paneer or the crispy vegetarian samosa's to start all accentuated with a Taj Mahal beer.
Always fast and courteous service. Never have I had a single issue with the food. The portions are generous and always well prepared.
The buffet wasn't bad, allowing one to try a large array of their offerings without committing to an entire dish if they aren't sure about it.
Not my favorite Indian restaurant around the Dayton area. The lunch buffet was pretty mediocre the day that I had it. It's okay. Better of the 2 options in the local area.
"Jeet" translates to "victory", which is appropriate because victorious is how I feel after I leave their lunch buffet. Delectable. Superb. Jeet.
The restaurant is neat and clean inside offers lunch buffet. It is very close to Hindu Temple of Dayton. So if you ever visit Dayton Temple.Just stop by for a quick bite. Not many food options in lunch buffet. You get both veg and non veg items.
Lunch buffet is no more good. Not much variety of curries , Tandoori chicken always dry , pakoras not fresh. I also buy fresh paneer they say fresh paneer but after opening at home I was sure I was prepared and freezed atleast 3 months ago .Buffet used to be good in past but no more. Waste of money and I will never try tis restaurant again.
Always a win!! Great food and great service. If you're new to Indian cuisine, don't miss the buffet, great chance to try lots of dishes.
Loved the lamb curry, very tasty! Great customer service too!
Excellent, authentic Indian cuisine with a very polite, patient and helpful staff. Atmosphere is nice as well. My only complaint is that they have glass table toppers with paper placemats, so if you get annoyed by little things like me, consider that.
The flavors here are wonderful and the service is outstanding. We have been there three times and each time we enjoyed our meal.
The Jeet and Amar (Centerville) Indian restaurants have been helping rescue the Dayton area from boring chain joints for years. If you've never had Indian cuisine before Jeet is a perfect starting point. Go during the lunch buffet and try a few things for less than $10. The staff is super friendly and would be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Chicken tiki marsala is the best
Always enjoy the food here.
Food was good service was also
A close friend of mine is from India and she recommended the lunch buffet. It was fantastic and a great way to try a multitude of foods!
Huge Indian Food lover and got to say that this was the best layout and quality of food for a lunch buffet that I've had before. Food was exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for fantastic Indian cuisine!
The food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful nice and respectful and even carry the conversation
We knew we were going to be getting to this restaurant shortly before closing time for lunch. We called at 1:50 PM and asked if we would have time to eat at their lunch buffet even though they were closing at 2:30 PM. We were told to come and that we would have time to eat as long as we didn't get there at 2:20 PM. We showed up at 2:05 PM to a nearly empty buffet. We paid full price to pick through what little bit of food remained on the buffet. We were told three times by different wait staff that they were closing at 2:30 and we had to grab whatever er wanted off the buffet before they closed it. This was a waste of money and may be my last trip to a restaurant I've enjoyed for over 10 years. There was no discount or anything for our meals and very little apologies on behalf of the restaurant management for the experience.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the area!
Always great food and service!
The food is insanely good, the variety of dishes left me the daunting task of choosing just one thing to order. The entire staff is friendly and professional, they came around fairly often to refill water and offer additional help if needed. Will definitely be going more often, may make it a regular trip.
The lunch buffet was good not great, and pricey.
Food was really good, but I may just be partial to Indian food. I got the chicken saag and was not disappointed. All in all the meal was fairly cheep. The staff was kind and helpful. I would eat here again.
I can only give 4 stars, but I'd like to give it 4.5. I come here maybe once a month - mostly take out but also dine-in. There's not a lot of smiling and they seem to keep their conversations with the customers limited - this could be because their accents are heavy and they know some customers have a hard time understanding them, so they avoid talking in general. I honestly don't know, I've never asked. Customers should keep in mind the staff might not be rude intentionally, but simply not adhering to social customs in the States. That being said, the food is delicious. Not everything on their menu is spicy and how spicy the items are on their spice scale (1-5) varies from day to day (or cook to cook). Sometimes when I order a 3 on the spice scale I'm dying for milk. Yet other times when I've ordered a 4 it's like there's no spice in it at all. However, it's almost always delicious. When I dine-in the staff is attentive, the atmosphere is nice, and they've never rushed me out the door. It is a bit "pricier" than other places, but keep in mind they're using ingredients that aren't all that common here. I recommend the curries!
Great food, atmosphere, and the customer service is really good. Water never got below half way and the portion size filled me up completely.
Delicious Indian food and the service is top notch!
I've never ate in but always order. Best Indian food I've ever had. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Should at least try once. They also have a booth at street fair every summer in Yellow Springs ohio. The food is well worth what they charge. If not, under pay for the food.
Their lunch Buffet is great!! Honestly I really love their food but if you order take out for two they never seem to give you enough rice for both meals. Dining in i always feel rushed by the server... But their food is definitely tasty Chicken Korma and the Saag is very good!
I like spicy food and Jeet India is one of the few places in Ohio where spicy is truly spicy. I have eaten here several times, I am never dissapointed.
Very good restaurant. Great Indian taste
Excellent lunch buffet.
Great food and their lunch buffet is always good! The nan is always fresh and delicious.
I'm giving five stars for this restaurant because the food is amazing, However they lack customer service. It's simply could be because there's a lack of communication as well. Phenomenal food for sure!
The best place to get Indian food in the world
I love this place! I'm here now having lunch and have never been let down! Consistently delicious!!
Food is above average but could be better. Service is friendly. Would like better food options for ingredients.
Good variety of buffet items, good taste, though food mostly room temp
Some of the best Indian I've had. It's a bit pricey, but they didn't have a single thing I didn't fall in love with. Service was decent, but the food itself was really the star. Great place to take a date.
Closes at 9:30pm. Reminder to myself
Super friendly and welcoming waitstaff. The buffet has a lot of vegetarian and some vegan options. People who do not consume milk, beware—they cook their rice in butter, so you must go riceless for your meal. If that doesn't bother you, this place is highly recommended, and prices are very fair.
Overall good but they could do better on their buffet tandoori chicken
Absolutely delicious!!! One of my favorite for Indian food. Friendly staff too. Thanks Jeet :)
Incredible food. Never have been disappointed when eating here.
Very good Indian restaurant. Offers a nice lunch buffet with usual crowd pleasers like tikki masala, tandoori chicken, saag, and nan.
