REVIEWS OF Indian Oven IN Ohio

Seth Knaebel

My favorite Indian restaurant in Columbus.

Tejash Surti

Ordered Chicken biryani, Malai Kofta and some garlic naans sadly none of them was even close any indian food standards. Biryani was more of masala rice and malai kofta didnt taste like koftas. Considering the reviews expected the food to be better. For the food served price too was on the higher side. Overall just another below average indian restaurant

Pankaj Patel

I going today around 730 pm whole group around 14 peoples and we order samosa , Pakora and papad all items not good and samaosa and chutney so terrible we tell to owner and say that’s good and we pay $75 just appetizers and no even say sorry or discount and say we serve to Columbus 26 years . So garbage service and rude to talk with customers. I never go again. I hope owner reply me. .

ohcomfortsuites

Not good food.

Menmen I85

Really good food, If you need to try indian food. Try this place. we stopped by during an road trip, and the food was really great.

Macryder0

I ordered the chicken Marsala expecting a creamy basil treat that I have grown to love. Instead I'm greeted with an awful chicken crock pot dish that I ended up throwing out because of how bad it tasted. With a price tag of $15.50 for an awful chicken dish accompanied with bland rice, this has been the worst experience I have had with an Indian restaurant. I would have to vote this is the worst Indian restaurant in Columbus. Bad food, awful prices.

Dianne Oliver

Excellent food

Anand Vardhan Mathur

Wonderful place. The dal soup is very tasty. Food is good. Good Indian music plays all the time. I tried vegetarian food and was wonderful.

Diana McIntosh

The food is always good, and the staff is friendly.

Raynita McGowan

Decent food and really good table service

Aiden Rackowski

Great priced food, great tasting food. Amazing atmosphere and music. Waiters we're amazing and on point every second. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something new or loves spicy food.

Derrick Oneill

i give this spot two thumbs up. this place has a cool atmosphere. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i liked to visit.

Ryan Gooden

Food was awesome. The only problem i had was it was empty and it still took forever to get our food and drinks. But otherwise the experience was overall good.

Rogue One

My favorite Indian restaurant in Columbus

Dr. Zapata

Food is ok but not the best. Feels a bit lonely.

Jeremy Clingerman

We ate the buffet lunch (buffets are never as good as the mea) and the food was still pretty good. The price was decent, but the staff was excellent. I would recommend lunch here at least.

Kayla Risch

Hands down best, authentic Indian food in Columbus. Tried them all. Super friendly, great service & rotating seasonal Indian specials - just so good.. Hidden Gem!

Pooja Lall

Pathetic food n disappointing experience. Will never recommend.

piyush kale

I had ordered a paneer curry to go and after reaching home I was shocked to see that paneer in it was totally spoilt. It would have been ok if the curry didn't taste good but it was spoilt which was unacceptable. Since the restaurant closed by the time I picked it and reached home I could not get back to them. For others id suggest please make sure what you get is good at the restaurant

GamingwithNOAH !

My family and I have been coming here since my twins were babies. The food is superb, and the service has always been wonderful. They treat us like family!!! The BEST in town!!

One of the best place and best food in the town.

Nagarjun Reddy Utkoori

Dave t

Great buffet and attentive service. Try the cinnamon clove tea, its amazing!

Amy Rosenthal

The spicy pickle is addictive. The buffet is well priced with good variety.

Kristi Simone

So so good. This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Columbus. The lunch buffet has great choices if you are short on time.

Suresh babu

Food is awful. If there is a negative rating then definitely i will give negative rating for this restaurant. I tasted food in almost all the Indian restaurants in Columbus, Dublin, Polaris area. Food provided in Indian Oven is the bad. we can clearly say that it is 3-4 days back food. On top of that a manger around 60+ years is very rude. Manager do not know how to treat a customer. I have never see such kind of person in US. In US i see customer is treated as real KING but he is treating very carelessly. We paid our bill and just told him that food is not good( so that he will take some action to change the food quality) then he said "okay that's fine. We can survive without you." When we are walking out he is blabbering load at us.

James Patrick

Everyone that came in seemed to be pleased with the food.

Ben Zambito

Indian Oven is not only the best Indian food in Columbus but it also has a fantastic dining atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful—reminiscent of a scene out of Darjeeling Limited (very rustic chiq, balanced by elegant white table cloths). Even better is the scent of wood burning in the authentic tandoori oven. The owner will remember you if you come to dine a few times, and is always a joy to chat with. The food is amazing. First time Indian eaters will be at ease, while veteran connoisseurs will be delighted. If you can’t eat there, carry it out!!! Eat here!!!

Bhanu Kiran

Food: 1 star; Service: 4 star; Ambience: 3 star; Buffet: was a joke with only 9 items Items in buffet were veg korma, tikka sqash curry, chick curry, tondoori chicken, plan rice, naan, veg pakora, palak paneer and cabbage curry. chicken curry and paneer were the only ones we could put in our mouth. They had mango pickle and raitha in the spread i have no clue for what? To mix in plain rice or to eat as appetizers? Finally, Dont even dare to try their soanf (fennel seeds). I almost puked. Not coming back ever!!!

Teresa Weidenbusch

The food is fabulous and the owner is friendly and welcoming. One of the best restaurants in Columbus. Great decor, comfortable yet well designed and modern. You will love it - Go!

D Jones

Very good food and friendly staff a must if looking for great Indian food!

Stephanie Pasamonte Ewen

The owner was incredibly pleasant and attentive, and the rest of the staff were great. The food was good and came out quickly.

Venkata Nithin Putchakayala

The food is very expensive and tasteless with near minimum quantity. Unless you have no other option better avoid it.

Juan Chaparro

Had to try this out since it's only a few blocks away from work (as opposed to heading all the way to Sawmill). As other reviewers have mentioned, the selection is smaller than most indian buffets (6 hot dishes, plain rice, tandoori naan, vegetable pakora and a basic salad). Not bad for 10 bucks, but far from great. The chicken curry was a bit thin, the tandoori chicken a bit dry. The okra masala was good and about the only item i went for seconds on. The best item was the kheer, made with rosewater and just the right consistency. Got a mango lassi to drink and I guess I should have expected it but over 4 bucks for a skinny glass of lassi is a bit much. Total with tax/tip of about $17. I guess it will serve in a pinch, but not my first choice for indian in columbus.

Matthew Lammers

I'm not quite sure I understand any negative reviews. In the years that I've gone here for dinner, I've never had an issue. Always a nice time and never a quality issue with the food.

Harun Al-Rashid

The food is very tasty and warm hospitality.

Claire Harp

Indian Oven is a great restaurant. The staff is absolutely lovely. They always remember your name and usually your favorite meals as well. The food is delicious and atmosphere is very welcoming. I always bring friends from out of town to the oven for dinner. I've never had a bad night there. I've read a lot of these reviews complaining that there was an added gratuity and therefore it's a horrible restaurant and only 1 star worthy. I'm sorry, but that's customary in every restaurant when there is a large group. If you can't afford to tip, then don't go out to eat. Especially in a large group! To hate on a restaurant and say it has horrible food based on the fact that you had to pay a tip is sad. We will always be faithful customers here :)

Tammie Dillon

Food was awesome, service was great and restaurant was clean. Two thumbs up!

Shavon Martin

The best service I have had at long time.

Brijesh Patel

The woman that took the order was very kind and friendly. The boss working wasn't so friendly, rude with the costumers, wasn't dressed proper to be a head boss of the restaurant (beanie on and just a t-shirt. The food wasn't good and we asked for some cut up onions and was told we would be charged and also would be charged for any offering food the restaurant when you first come In.

karthik nuti

DO NOT order paneer from here. They serve SPOILT paneer. Worst shahi paneer I have ever eaten in my life.

Yvonne Reusser

Great place!! Glad we found it, easy to get to and plenty of parking in a quiet neighborhood near downtown. Food was outstanding.

William Springer

Great place to eat! Friendly owner and staff. Excellent food made fresh.

Luke Sanford

Got the buffet. Food was tasty without being hot. Great place to introduce someone to Indian food. Good variety on the buffet.

Melissa Moore

Really friendly service and fantastic food.

Azim Tiwana

Absolutely mouth watering. My stomach was full but my taste buds still wanted more. Will visit here again soon.

Dorn Byg

Over all the food is quite good and quite authentic. The specials are in fact special so if the waiter makes a suggestion, go with it. There is no need to dress up but you dont want to go in with shorts and a T-shirt. The down side to the place is the brunch that they do. Though the food is good the variety is lacking. If there were two more items included with what is being served then that would bring it to what I would consider an acceptable selection.

Ritu V

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Please do not go to this restaurant. The food is not fresh and tastes very bad. The ambiance is dull. Servicing is OK however the attitude of the manager was very bad. We were a team of 20 people and all of us felt the same and we can never come back to this restaurant. Worst restaurant in Columbus. They will put their own tip in ink on the receipt. Please think twice before you go to this restaurant.

Miosotys Nunez

I love Indian food. I have eat at another Indian spot in Columbus. This food is from a different region. Don't expect it to be the same as other. However, it was good. The employees were very attentive.

Cortez Robinson

Nice location. Dined on the patio, so didn't have to smell the curry. The roasted chicken was good

Donna Teach

A fine restaurant is more that a place to eat - it's a place you crave! That's what Indian Oven means to us. What do I mean? It's 5 pm and the text comes from my husband, "Indian Oven?" My response, "Yes!" We have been coming here since Indian Oven moved years ago from their campus location and we're never disappointed. Our biggest challenge: detouring from our perennial favorites of Shrimp Palau and Lamb Shank - two of the most delightful and memorable dishes we've ever eaten. Additionally the lunch buffet is fabulous and one of the best values downtown. Everything from the tea to the appetizers to the fruit custard for dessert - Run - Don't walk to Indian Oven (yum - now I just made myself hungry!)

Ishan A B Ambanwela

Very delicious food. And ask for spicy

Drew Palmiter

Delicious. Very good.

J Dubz

Kind of pricy for Indian food.

Brittany Kizer

I have been going to Indian Oven for the past 10 years, at least. The wait staff is always very prompt and courteous. The food is always delicious, I always order off of the vegetarian menu. It's our Christmas tradition to go there every Christmas Eve for dinner. I love it and have taken many family members and friends there to experience it as well.

Eranga Fernando

Service is good. Food tastes great. The prices are about $3 to $4 more expensive than they should be

Denzil Paul

Food is v good, owner is a lil loud or tone deaf. However he comes across as v genuine. Love the fact that the wait staff is diverse

Akshay Srivastava

Bad service, underwhelming food with no salt and very rude, unprofessional servers. Won't recommend this to anyone.

Lucas Campbell

Authentic Indian food is served with great respect. Food has different sorts of flavors and i love the vibe here which is fantastic.

Ankit Pant

Salad shredded chicken in butter chicken Turmeric heavy Chole . Please don't waste your dollars .

G P

The food here was not what i expected. No flavor, the lamb was just meat with no type of seasoning and for 26 bucks that was the worst lamb I ever had. The rice was okay, the curry had no bland as well. We order what they recommended and it was the worst.

Cathleen P

I've been enjoying the food at Indian Oven for almost a decade. The food there is always delicious and the staff is incredibly hospitable. The specials are always interesting and worth getting. We've eaten through most of the menu and have enjoyed it all. The owner does a great job at training his staff and creating wonderful food.

Sydney T

Great food. Great atmosphere. Owner is awesome. Matar Paneer is a must-have I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lesli Monique Green

Best damn Indian food ever! Been coming here for many years. Great atmosphere wonderful service.

Mark Gerken

Really good food. Service is always top notch.

Dennis Sharek

Good food and friendly staff. Freshlyb imported beer.

James Davis

Absolutely incredible. Food was amazing. Staff made us feel like home. Definitely coming back. Again and again.

Dan Walraven

Always enjoy the lunch buffet! Great variety. Decent price! Really good food!

Stephen Martin

Great food- I am Indian and have been going here or over nine years. I have tried many places they are good but they're not as healthy and delicious as Indian oven. I was raised on Indian food and trust me their service is fantastic and their food is amazing. I can't believe that they got such a low scoring. Obviously these people don't know what they're talking about. Everything here is amazing and it's a clean place

Jerry Banner

Good service, decent food.

Paul Crouse

Awesome, industrial themed Indian restaurant. Best vindaloo in Columbus. Not very busy during lunch and dinner hours. The buffet leaves something to be desired.

Allen Parsons

The server was polite and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was not good. The chicken curry was watery with chunks of chicken that were tough and lacking flavor. Rather than a long stew, it seemed as if the chicken was quickly stir fried in the curry sauce. The chicken marsala had a better taste, but the chicken had a similar texture. I felt cheated after this dining experience. The waitress was the highpoint of the evening. She needs to find a job at a restaurant where the food matches the quality of her service.

Shreelina Ghosh

Worst biryani I have ever tasted. Lamb biryani had broccoli, cauliflower, and a bunch of other vegetables. Totally bland and unseasoned .... . The restaurant is rated decently by people with non-indian sounding names but every rater with Indian-sounding names rated this place 1. Should have checked that before going for this big disappointment.

Esther kash

Something is obviously wrong with these reviews. They range from wonderful to terrible. I suspect that at least some of the bad reviews were written for another Indian restaurant and the writer was confused about the location, or perhaps for some reason they were there on the one-in-a-million bad day. We have patronized the Indian Oven on Main Street near downtown since they moved to that location. In those many visits we have never had anything but a fine meal. The owner is friendly, helpful, remembers customers; a fine host, thus making me suspect that those who describe him as rude and impolite don't know who the owner is or don't know what restaurant they were in. The wait staff are pleasant and know and well describe the Indian dishes. We have had fine events there of twenty people, and when family visits from another city we frequently get Indian Oven takeout. It is always, and I mean always, tasty, fresh, high quality. I strongly encourage all to visit and enjoy. Oh, and do try the yummy yogurt drinks.

Sheriff Ceesay

This food is really good! :-), we had the specialty roasted chicken!! Akhlak (AK)

Hamidu Mulimdwa

Hello, Be careful when you get to this restaurant, they forced me to pay $12.35 addition to my bill that I am responsible for paying the person who served me. Plz, plz stop that. The food was not so good, so I don't recommend my friends to go there.

Gigi G

I love the service and lamb best ever!

Susan Zimmerman

Amazing food!

Emily Evans

The food is incredible. I have recommended a few people to Indian Oven and they all come back with rave reviews. The food cannot be beat and the staff are superstars!

Scott Dailey

very good food..very good service..decent prices

P. Sangha

We are here in Columbus,OH from Toronto, Canada. We thought, we should eat Indian food. So, We went to this "Indian Oven" restaurant for take-out. Guess what, their food is NOT even fully cooked, quality is very poor in food taste. its SO expensive. We didn't even finish eating it. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. The price they charge on their food is ridiculous. We ordered "Veggie Platter", plus you can not substitute for another dish. Please do not go for their location or layout of their restaurant. I feel sick to my stomach after eating it.

Dagmar Grothe

Very friendly place with great food!

Judy Goldstein

Best Indian restaurant in Columbus! One of the top 10 best all around restaurants in Columbus.

Praveen Kumar

A big NO if you are looking for Indian taste. You won't recognise by taste what you are eating. Had baingan bharta and matar paneer and wished that I should have kept fast.

Ashish huruli

I seriously hated the food being an Indian i suggest not even a single person to visit this place. It's not even worth the free food. The owner doesn't know how to go along with the customers he tries to kick them out. He hardly know's what he is doing he would be drunk and would yell at you to leave the place. Make the suggestion useful and NEVER visit the place NEVER

Jason Ronis

I believe it's one of the top three restaurants in Columbus. Not Indian restaurants, restaurants period. The food is spectacular, and although I'm not from India, I can say it's probably authentic to some part of India. The bar is great and serves Palma Louca.

Tom Metzger

Consistently excellent food and service. Great for dining in, or for carry out. Have been going there for years, and never disappointed.

Beda Khanal

Worse Indian food + worse customer service experience ever in my life... please guys don't waste your money in this restaurant ever.. Trust me you will regret going there like me. Their buffet was only 3 items and food was not even taste good so save money and stay healthy.. if it's up to me I don't even give one star ⭐️ to this so called restaurant

brandon schlichter

Been a year since I've been here but absolutely loved it. Ordered Lamb Curry and Chicken Vindaloo and both were absolutely fantastic. My wife spent some time in India and she said it reminded her quite well of her time there.

mkgta

Love this place. Lunch buffet and food is great n fresh

Suzanne Coulter

Great lunch buffet

omarmty

Building is good. Waiter was friendly and awesome. Food wise, I liked the samosas very much. I ordered curry

Rich Campoamor

Bland, overpriced food. Best part was being publicly berated by the owner for not wanting to take home the nasty food.

Izar Harrison

Great lunch buffet.

Mary Powell

Delicious, flavorful food. Great staff who were helpful and friendly.

Nancy Thornock

Our absolute favorite. Amazing. And the owner is a real restauranteur. If the special is the spicy roasted chicken, get it.

Prakash Pandey

Service is good but when u talking about food its tooo bad....Specially for the indian people plzzzzz never go there its just a waste of money....

Tracey Sandy

Wonderful food and great table service. One of our favorite places!

Conor Davitt

We started with the fresh vegetable pakoras, which were awesome and, indeed, fresh. I'm not a huge fan of the green sauce that goes with it, but they stand well on their own. I had the palak paneer for my dinner, which is one of my favorite Indian dishes. It tasted great - full of spinach and cheese cubes, and a touch sweet with a blend of warm spices. It was a bit over-salted, though. The garlic naan I added on to the meal cut the salt back a little bit, but I feel it would have been better with a bit less salt. In general, this is a very good restaurant that I would recommend trying if you're in the area.

Angela Billingslea

Soo good. I ate so much I thought I'd burst!

Shiva Bongu

Bad for an Indian Restaurant. Not at all Indian. Looks like Bangladesh and way pricey.

Michelle

They treat toddlers like rockstars here, the service has been excellent each time I have been in and the food is consistently fantastic! Thank you for being so awesome! We wish we had food like this in Pickerington!

Lurlene J. Lowe

Visiting from Virgina. (Drake's cousin) Friendly, great atmosphere, very accommodating; tried several dishes and they were all different. Something for all everyone...Shanks were the best. My husband enjoyed the lamb chops.

Michael Arnold

The service is wonderful, the food is great. I love this place.

A D

Expensive at $10 for a weekday buffet given the limited variety. Found myself in the vicinity and decided to try out the buffet. The place had a modern look with a lot of metal finish and a high ceiling. It was a Weekday around 1:15. They had limited choices of starters. Their buffet closes at two but the trays were not filled up. The indian bread was just a tad warm and hard. The kheer was good, but that will not pull me in for another visit soon.

Greg Gaitanos

Amazing eats with amazing staff/ management

Joseph Isom

Great food. The buffet lid setup is cumbersome to navigate. You need three hands.

Matthew Teeters

Great space. Glass walls let you see the kitchen. Good food.

A B

Our party ordered the lamb and fish specials. Spices/ heat are in proportion to flavor. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

David J

Good food

Jayaprakash KS

Pathetic stale food and very poor service. Have never had such a worst experience ever. They deserve zero but giving one star as its not allowing me to submit comment without that. Don't waste you $$. Will never recommend.

kranti koduri

The food here is the worst I have ever tasted in my life. We were 10 people group went to the restaurant for the buffet and no body liked it including one of my american colleague. The food is not fresh and tastes very bad. They had hardly 9 items in the buffet and no one is taste good. I would never ever buy any food or eat here again. I only gave 1 star as it was the least I could give. Do not use this restaurant in columbus area. The format of the bill was confusing and they wrote their own gratuity 22% to the bill in the tip option. When I asked the owner, his response was rude.

Ryan Mahato

Decent food and enough also for takeout.

Joel Shrestha

Worst experience. Food was okay. Server was good, but that indian dude, i think he is the owner, has no manner on how to talk to customers. Such a manner less guy

Bobbi Halleck

Lovely

Michele Lucas

Great Food. Staff was amazing

Mike Haudenschild

Service is always extremely attentive and polite, even with our toddler in tow! The owner always makes a point of welcoming us and asking about our meal. The food is second-to-none for Indian fare in central Ohio. This is my favorite place to eat downtown for dinner -- just go. Pricing is great for the serving size -- we always have plenty to bring home. If you get an appetizer, two adults can share an entree if you don't want leftovers. Easy parking, easy to get to the interstate if you're not a downtowner.

Fiza malik

This place is actual garbage. They hung up on my countless times when I tried to order. NEVER COME HERE

John Bales

Not worth $15-18 per meal

Clyde Henry

Excellent, I have eaten at Indian Oven many times, for lunch and dinner. Always great food, friendly, and good service. I recommend it often, and bring guests who are always pleased.

Bob Roehm

Since 1995, Indian Oven has been serving delicious Indian food in the southeast corner of the downtown area. They are open Mondays to Fridays for lunch [11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.] and for dinner [5:00-10:00 p.m.]; they are also open on Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. I had arrived at Indian Oven for my first visit yesterday [2-28-2019], moments after they had opened, for an early lunch [before a 1:00 p.m. meeting in a different part of downtown]. I had recently heard that Indian Oven has a lunch buffet [which I had ordered]; I had been pleasantly surprised to learn that the cost of their lunch buffet is only $9.95. I had been one of the few people in the dining room for the first half hour or so; however, moments after 12:00 noon, many people [who obviously work nearby] came in to eat; the place suddenly became quite crowded. I definitely plan to return to Indian Oven in the future.

Raja Sekhar Kraleti

The worst food I ever had...... The items in the buffet were very less (Just 3 varieties ) and taste was really really bad. Don't waste your money.

Dave k

Ate lunch here. I basically only eat Chicken in curry sauce and Chicken Tandoori. Add Naan bread and rice. Both chicken dishes were bone-in and had a lot of meat. Both were very good. The curry sauce could have been spicier. The server was nice and did a good job. I would dine here again.

Erica Flinn

Stopped in for the first time to get dinner to go- the staff was immediate attentive, friendly and helpful! The atmosphere was really nice, good bar with a modern feel to it, so I decided to stay for a glass of wine while I waited. Chicken masala was some of the best I've had and combined with the great service and atmosphere, I'll definitely be back to dine in!

Renee Weldy

This is our favorite restaurant ... my husband proposed to me here

Rodney Fetveit

One of the best Indian restaurants in Columbus. It is a little pricey, but worth it!

Nick Garcia

Great food, fair prices, strange hours

Ciera Shanks

I enjoy their weekday lunch buffet! I go a few times a month. The food is great and the price is even better! They restaurant is always clean and the owner is very nice and friendly with the customers.

Ted Barker

We love this place! Best sourced ingredients and recipes this side of Delhi! Thanks, guys!

Aditya Mahadik

Jodi May

Amazing and delicious as always! Wait staff super courteous and attentive. We know every time we come we are going to get delicious food and great service at a great price. Thanks for always making our visits great!

otto beatty

Indian Oven is the best Indian restaurant in the downtown area of Columbus. Over the years, I have had many business lunch meetings there, because it allows novices to try Indian food on the buffet. The light airy decor is pleasant and the restaurant remain quiet due to the high ceilings. Its an easy choice when I want something different in the downtown area. The owner is great to deal with and always remembers your name and makes you feel welcome. Although there are some strongly unfavorable reviews on google - this restaurant has been in business for over 10 years, so somebody likes it.

donn ditzhazy

This place is amazing!

aman goel

PS: EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK and DYING OF FOOD POISONING. After seeing the pictures of restaurant I thought to try it during lunch time with friends. It was the worst food ever I ate till now except coriander sauce and pakoras. Generally, I don't like to waste food even though it's bad but this tastes like it's been made couple of days back and they just microwave the food. On top of that, the owner/manager with glasses whose is in 60s is so arrogant and mischief person. He is not ready to accept that their food quality is so bad and none of the Indian people like it. If you want to punish someone then take that person to this restaurant for lunch. When I saw the reviews, all were given by non-Indian origin. They might not be aware of original Indian food taste. I would recommend to them please visit some good Indian restaurants in Dublin area then you will truly experience the Indian flavor and spices.

Homin Nair

Such a horrible experience. I had on one occasion rice and egg and on another chicken Biriyani. Horribly disappointed both times. I don't know how this joint even exist after serving such low quality stuff! Please don't visit, once you want to taste good food

Derek Dailey

Love it! I always get palak paneer, and it is the best palak paneer. I try palak or saag paneer at every Indian restaurant and Indian Oven is the best! Their other food is great, too!

J. P.

WORST Indian food i Ever had in my life.. Not good service and also the food was stale. Would not recommned to any friend.

taylor rouchion

Good food

Brandon Utterback

Oh muh gawd! Best Indian food I have ever, ever, ever had. Amazing.

Derek D

This place is a hidden gem sitting just east of downtown. The chicken korma is amazing. Don't forget to order a side of garlic naan!

Usman Zia

Poor food taste and expensive. I stopped by on my trip through Columbus. Decided to take menu item, 'special of the day' which was 2 quarter legs with rice. It was flooded with gravy with below average taste. Then decided to try kheer to overcome the taste and here was another disappointment waiting for me. It was very sweet milk with rice floating in it. Only positive thing was the old gentleman who greeted guests. Also ambience is cheap where you would expect to spend $10 for cheap food not $30.

Clayton Lutz

Awesome food and service. You quite simply won't get better service at any other Indian restaurant in town. We have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. Their paneer is nigh on perfect. It's not gritty or rubbery like you'll find at other places. They have an excellent lunch buffet too, with selections not commonly found on other Indian buffets. Go. Enjoy, and be sure to let the owner entertain you. He's great.

Donald Arthur

Pizza comes out very quickly and delicious. I get the pepperoni Every time. The crust is perfectly crispy with a very nice crunch.

Chandan Panda

Hello. Please give our thanks to the Manager(s) and owner of this restaurant for having such an awesome Coriander Chutney in the buffet. Frankly speaking, this is one of the terrible food (Buffet) i have had in my entire life. Big disappointment that these guys are spoiling the true Indian cuisine taste and shameless they don't have any regret for that. we paid our buffet price and gave our sincere suggestion to the manager and he is not ready to accept that. We all got surprise the way he respond back to us! He is so rude. I will never recommend to any of my friend to ever visit that restaurant again.

Rageking5

Food is very bland, nice people though

Christopher Boron

It's the best Indian place overall in my experience. Great value all around in terms of portions. Best entrees, amazing samosa, and the literal best chutney on the face of the planet. The owner remembers us every time, and every person working there is the nicest. I haven't been there for lunch yet in the ten years we've been going here, but I get to shift that. Tonight I had the best lamb chops I can recall ever having.

I purchased tandoori chicken tikka masala for my daughters international thanksgiving for her school. The taste was exquisite and sure to be a pleasure for students and teachers as they get to sample India food at its finest!!! I am truly excited to share this dish with those experiencing Indian food for the first time.

Decent selection on menu, also there is a $10 lunch buffet during the week!!

Food is average. Authentic Indians can visit once. Other natives might like as the spice levels are moderate. Almost same curry style in all the dishes. Classic ambience. Evenings is not crowded. There is a bar. There is a parking space behind the restaurant.

Had the lunch buffet. A little bit pricy, and the selection is very limited. Taste was just ok in my opinion.

Polite and attentive staff and the best Indian cuisine in Columbus.

If you want REAL Indian food, don’t go here! The names on the menu are not what they actually serve. I ordered biryani but got a small serving of rice with loads of different vegetables that biryani should not have! The food here is not authentic Indian food! This place has every single vegetable in every dish that doesn’t compliment just any dish! Price was also way too high. However, the waiter was very nice.

The food is very good. It is in a area that is getting better. There is a hotel being build across the street which makes the arwa very busy but may slow down as that project is over. The parking may be the worst part. If you can find a spot on street you are having a good time. However you are typically fighting for a spot from the daycare to the side of this location. Staff is typically warm and inviting as if thos was a southern restaurant. The prices are on the high side for this cuisine. But you pay for quality. I will come back because you cant find quality this consistent at most Indian restaurants.

Lot of my friends who visited this place gave a pretty bad review and i never went there for a very long time. Overall, my impression was it is not bad at all. The food was quite good and they were able to customize my order. people are pretty courteous and nice as well.
