The decor and history with this restaurant was fabulous with a perfect view of the lake. However my sandwich was not very hot, the staff seemed annoyed with my presence and every beer I wanted they were out off. It feels like it may have just been an off day. Just due to the atmosphere of the restaurant, I'd give a second chance.

We stopped here for the first time last night for a family dinner. Loved the location and atmosphere. We waited for service...and waited...and waited. Watched wait staff walk past us repeatedly only to ignore us. After heading to the bar and asking for menus amazing Megan apologized and took our drink orders. Seems as tho Megan was the only server to care however. She was getting no help in picking up tables nor anything else that we could tell. We sat and waited for our food...and waited and waited. I went to the bar to ask about the timeline of our food to be told that it was probably up, the kitchen was calling for our poor over-extended server. 10 mins later poor Megan got a chance to bring it over only for us to realize our meals had to have been sitting under the heat lamp for some time and possibly even reheated. SHAME ON YOU OTHER WAIT STAFF FOR NOT HELPING EACH OTHER OUT!! Megan was covering for others but they couldn't return the favor for this poor girl! Megan, you get 5 stars...everyone else, you should be ashamed!! Thanks to the failure of the rest of the staff I'm not sure we'd make the 45 min drive for dinner again.

It wasn't good but it wasn't bad. It was definitely overpriced though. $12 Dollars For A Single Burger I could have went to Texas roadhouse twice for what I paid at Indian head roadhouse. But your in the lake so all the prices are jacked up.

My husband and I love to sit on the patio listening to their great selection of music they provide. i was very impressed by the atmosphere of this place. their food is great, but service is very very slow. we ordered the appetizer plate, and i was very disappointed in the size of it. very small for such a high price. Staff was great with our little kids though :) We will be visiting again!

We've always loved the food here and the beer selection is always good,. It's unfortunately gotten to the point that it's not worth the hassle. Tonight we waited several minutes for our drinks, which showed up wrong. We then waited about 45 minutes for our food before being told our ticket was lost. Another 40 minutes after that until we got our food. As always, the food was delicious, but not worth that kind of wait. We all had VERY simple orders. There's plenty of good eateries in the area that are worth checking out that have great service. I will add that our waitress was working hard and doing the best she could, but unfortunately she was one of the only ones

My biggest complaint is the inconsistency of the food preparation. We've coming here since it opened. Some days the food is excellent. However, our last trip this past Memorial Day was the worst food experience I've had here. Overcooked fish served cold is never a good thing. The rest of our party had similar experiences. Maybe the kitchen staff needed some more support and being the end of the holiday weekend had something to do with it but we do not plan on visiting again during a holiday weekend.

A very busy place during the summer tourist season. Fun atmosphere, enjoy sitting outside. Best known for their Bloody Mary’s, which practically comes with a salad inside the glass! Limited menu but what they do have is very good. It can take a long time to get your order when busy. The small kitchen doesn’t have the capacity to keep up with demand. They have a good breakfast when offered. Friday mornings before the weekenders flock is the best kept secret for breakfast at Indian Lake. Not busy, peaceful setting enjoying the sun overlooking the Lake.

Until tonight, our experiences at Indian Head Roadhouse have been mostly excellent. Tonight my wife ordered a salmon salad she has had many times before and loved. The salmon filet was very dry, smaller than she's had in the past, and very, very salty. My crab cakes were served to another diner - near us - returned to the kitchen (the other diner did not touch the crab cakes) and served to me a few minutes later. When my wife objected, the crab cakes went back and we were told new ones would be prepared and it would take about 10 minutes. Four minutes later out came the crab cakes - arranged on a plate so small the crab cakes spilled over the side. In addition these were clearly not new ones (unless the 10 minute estimate was grossly wrong). We were comped the salmon salad and also comped a large pour of wine. As a consequence, we felt we were fairly treated. Our complaint is that the "problems" should not have occurred in the first place. Since the quality and portion size have changed so drastically (salmon salad) we are left to wonder what has happened. New chef? New manager? New owner? Or does Indian Head Roadhouse just not care any more?

Unbelievably terrible. Waited over an hour for food. They make this disclaimer on a sign on the wall. However, food should be good after all this time, right? Grilled cheese missing the bacon and not at all melted. It was a cheese sandwich with creamy mango "chutney". Brisket sandwich heavy on the onions and enough brisket for a slider. Fish was supposed to be a sandwich but had no bun. Fries were tatortots. Sweet potato fries good. Server was largely missing for entire 2 hours were were there.

I stopped in to have dinner with some friends on July 1st, the food there has always been great. On this day someone nocked over the ketchup pump that was setting on the end of the counter, why? They had five employees walk over the ketchup pump and not one of them picked it up not even the one that claimed to be incharch, the girl behind the counter seen it and picked it up, but proceeded to put it back it the ketchup can, from the floor, how nasty is that, the so called young manager that claimed he was in charge had the nerve to say ,have you never made a mistake. They were going to serve it to all the customers after us, it really makes me wonder, if they do that in front of the customers, what do the so behind the scenes where no one can see them, they were very upset that we fronted them on it, but I could not let it be. What would you have done?

Very disappointed! After going inside, we told them we would like to sit outside. We were told to choose any available table. We waited 15 minutes for a waitress come to our table. Other servers were outside so we were seen. Finally we had to go inside to ask if someone would serve us. It took an addition 7 minutes for someone to come to our table!! We ordered the exact same sodas, an appetizer, and we all ordered the fish & chips. Appetizer came at the same time as our meals. Our food was inedible...the breading on the fish was so under cooked it was gooey! When we told the waitress, she said it was still okay to eat. She did offer to get our kids something else but came back 5 mins later to tell us that what they asked for wasn't available...who doesn't have chicken strips and fries!?!?! The only thing we ate were a few fries and some pickles. When we received the bill, everything was at full price. Our bill for poor service and inedible food was $55. It's bar food!!!! Poor management, poor service, poor food! We are at the Lake every summer...never going back!

The service was horrible she was slow and very rude. We had 3 of the 4 dinners we ordered was messed up. When they remade one of them it was the exact same as the one they messed up. Our pickles were supposed to be starters and they came the same time as the food! We rode our motorcycles 45 mins just to eat here and we will NOT be back or recommend it to anyone! Side note- 2 of us are bartenders and one is a certified chef so we know it takes a lot for food Industry but there are some things that can be fixed by just paying attention.

Indian Head was absolutely remarkable!!! I went on Saturday I got a virgin Bloody Mary, the fish and chips, deep-fried pickles; then I went today (Sunday)! Relaxing atmosphere, wild music (Friday, dance genre; Sunday, old rock), bright colours, plants, plenty of refills on soda, comfy chairs, tons of food, truly the best fish, terrific sauce for sweet potato fries, good coleslaw, and ALL THIS ACROSS THE STREET from the great Indian Lake!

Quite possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had on 7/1/2019 between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm. During that time all we received were our drinks. The waitress was slow to getting to our table. She actually told us that she had to get ice for the bartender first. It was close to 10 minutes from sitting down until we placed our order. Then at least another 10 minutes before our drinks were served to us. Then the nearly 50 minutes after our arrival wait before our dinner was served to us. Guess what, they got our order wrong. This is when we got up and left after paying for our drinks. Abysmal service, and on top of that the people working there seemingly couldn't care less. We will never step foot in this establishment again.

This eclectic roadhouse bar has a great atmosphere and view of Indian Lake. Food is typical bar fare, but the versions of Bloody Mary are fantabulous and an appetizer unto themselves. As explained to me by a waitress the weekday version has celery, spring onion stalk, shrimp, cucumber, lemon, lime, cheese, olive, tomato, pickle, three peppers, and a PBR chaser. The weekend version adds bacon, a chicken wing, an extra pepper, an asparagus spear and garlic toast. Highly recommend brisket and Bloody Mary.
