As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is virtually the top, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the evaluation is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

The was delicious, the service was friendly and prompt, excellent!!!
Good food, great place, great service, lots of atmosphere. Tables are not the most spacious, so you might have to get close to your party.
Always superb for the 40 years I've been going there.
This place is a diamond in the rough. Such a stunning interior oh, and it takes you back in time. The food was absolutely delicious. we started with the tuna appetizer, which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. I ordered the combo chicken which is the ginger chicken along with the mushroom chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. The only complaint I would have would be for the price portions were relatively small. The dinner was served with a side which I had the mushroom and cheese crepes oh, and they were delicious. It also came with a dinner salad, which my only complaint on that would be that it is served with raw mushrooms. However it did note that in the menu I just didn't catch it. My husband had the rack of lamb, along with the Rosemary potatoes. He was also pleasantly pleased with his meal. Our service was great, very attentive and kind. And for dessert I have the old fashioned grasshopper drink. If we ever visit sharonville again, we will definitely make a stop
Lovely food and service and a quaint yet high-end atmosphere. #yum
Long ago when I lived in Cincinnati area, I came here fairly often. Loved it then. Came back yesterday for late lunch. Delicious Mediterranean salad. Great service. Love it still.
Delicious! Quaint, cozy, and welcoming with friendly staff and a menu with something for everyone. Making a selection was difficult because there were so many tempting options. I can say now, it's tough to go wrong. The prices are all reasonable, the portions are just right, everything came out perfection and I will be back the next time I come to town!
Very good food, nice atmosphere. Is loud if you are by a table of six or more. Tends to be cold if sitting near a window.
The service was great and has a such a chill atmosphere. The food is portioned so well, the flavor and freshness was great. Great place for a date with an intimate setting. I'm excited to go back and try the brunch. An old timer told me it's the around and I believe him. I'll repost after I try it on Sunday. Maybe I'll see you there!
The food was delicious & we had great service as well. I highly recommend this place!
Great food and excellent service.
The service was impeccable, the food delightful.
Very cozy. Tight fit (they know how to pack you in!) but the food is fantastic. They are know for their cheesecake, so save some room for dessert. I have never had a bad meal here, and though the tables are a bit crowded together, that means they usually have a table, and you should be fine without a reservation. Wine is good too, beer is nothing special.
We had fantastic service and the food was fabulous. This restaurant is five star as far as I'm concerned.
I have patronized this establishment several times and the service and the food is always great.
Birthday twins
The Grand Finale is one of those unique dining experiences that is worth the price. I had not been there for many years but it was still great food and wonderful service. It brought back many memories for me. The crepes were fantastic. The atmosphere here is just perfect for a romantic date, a family celebration or a larger gathering. I strongly recommend the Grand Finaleinale as a place to have a meal that you won't get anywhere else.
Wonderful food and a cozy atmosphere. A Glendale treasure
Went for brunch. While the atmosphere was historical cozy it borderline annoyingly crowded. Myself and others had take time to move our seats so that patrons coming and going could enter or exit. The food was delicious.
Andrea was my server and this was our first visit. We crab cakes, cobbler, scallops and lamb. EVERY ITEM WAS AMAZING. Would dine her again without questions. Andrea was very nice and helpful with menu items also. Thank you
Top notch service and food!
This used to be a great restaurant, not as expected on a recent visit
I decided to venture outside of the city of Cincinnati and found this hidden gem in Glendale. The aesthetic is very European and romantic and you can tell the food is made with great attention to detail. I've been to Grand Finale a few times for lunch and dinner and am overwhelmingly satisfied every time I leave. I am going to stop in and try their Sunday brunch next!
Great food, great service, and to die for desserts!!
Incredible scratch dinner. Our server Mike was polite, intriguing and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the atmosphere and company! Two for $44... (two entrees and a bottle of wine or substitute a dessert for $44) thanks Grand Finale, you did well.
This is my weakness... love it
Love mom and pop shops. Kind of slight old people's house smell.
Great food & atmosphere
This is STILL one of my favorite restaurants in greater Cincinnati. I have previously rated this 5 stars. However, they are "adapting" their menu. Also, small changes like removing alfalfa sprouts and mushrooms from their salads leaves long-time customers wondering what will change next. I, for one dislike these changes. It challenges the uniqueness and flair of this establishment. Unfortunately, I could have received a similar meal elsewhere. In my opinion, local restaurants need to maintain that which makes them unique. I will shortly return for lunch praying they have not screwed with their Chicken Pot Pie, lamenting their now mediocre salad. I look forward to returning this site to 5 stars. I hope they are listening.
Easter tradition at Grand Finale. Great food and excellent service.
Celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and could not have asked for a better evening. It was a little later in the evening so it was quiet and quaint, and the food and service was great. The ice cream with strawberries & whipped cream was the perfect touch at the end.
Beautifu!!Amazing!! Delicious!! Cozy atmosphere!!! Decor makes you feel so comfortable.
My go to place for dinner on the north side of the Queen City.
Great food. Desserts are amazing
Very good dinner specials 3 course for 2 persons at $44. Good Sunday Brunch. Get reservations
Service in unmatched, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable.
Excellent food and service.
Excellent. Fair prices. Good food and service. Nice atmosphere. Was quiet which I love and is hard to find.
very good. pricey. often crowded. neat experience once in awhile.
We had our rehearsal dinner here. It was a large party. Our drinks were full all the time, the food came out quick and very delicious. Then we get to the dessert and they can't be beat. Hands down the best service I have ever had for a party of 30+.
Grand Finale will always be in my heart. When I was dating my husband we went there and after we got married we always had our Sunday brunch. Is cute, cozy, unique decor, incredible food and great service. Now every time we are back in town we go. This is a precious place and should be in your must go.
The food was awesome and great service. The filet mignon was to die for, just melted in your mouth.
I have several dietary restriction and they offered me a gluten free menu, and talked me through options that were safe, were patient and kind, have desserts to die for, and is a great date night atmosphere!
Great food and service.
Have not been down to the Grand Finale for years since I live in Michigan now. But what a treat to make it down to Sharonville and have the Brunch after church. As amazing as ever. This was always a special place for myself and my mother while growing up. Was a pleasure to share this with my daughter. Love the selection of brunch items. Everything hot and fresh. Server was on point, friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy with the whole experience.
Been a patron of this Establishment since it opened in 1975. Food is consistent, wonderful for special occasions. Atmosphere in Garden Room is cozy, private and elegant. My favorites are Rack of Lamb and Chicken Ginger but it's all delicious. Save room for dessert. The cheesecake is as good or better than Cheescake Factory. Employee owned so the staff is on hand and insures the quality year after year!
We always have a great time at Grand Finale. The food and service are like no other. We go there often.
We had a wonderful wedding anniversary celebration dinner. The service, food, drinks and overall ambiance made for a stellar experience. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Great place. Wonderful food. Love this place!
This place looks like an adorable shabby chic vintage eclectic circus! The staff are all kind and the food was absolutely phenomenal!!!
Great steaks and desserts like no other! Amazing!
Grand Finale restaurant in Glendale has a long standing reputation as a solid eatery if a little on the expensive side. Good service, good food, and great desserts. Parking is a challenge and reservations are recommended. Sunday brunch crepe options are not as diverse as anticipated and the buffet is squeezed in but you will leave satisfied nonetheless.
I have driven past this restaurant most of my life and today I finally tried it. They have a brunch on Sundays, so my bestie and I ate here today. Brunch is a buffet. If you go to their website, they list what all is on the buffet. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious. The drink selection was on point. The staff was also friendly and courteous. If you're looking for brunch this is the spot. Also, I made reservations for our table. It was recommended.
A light dinner was delicious at Grand Finale. I always enjoy their house salad. I like it better with blue cheese dressing instead of the house avocado dressing. Also ordered the french onion soup. It was very good but I could have used a little more broth.
I've always heard good things about grand finale, but I walked away unimpressed. My girlfriend & I went for the Sunday brunch shortly after it opened. The buffet section is slightly above average. I did enjoy the "made to order" blueberry pancake, but similar priced breakfast buffets I frequent have omelets & waffles "made to order" also!!!
I've heard about this place 4 a long time and I've always wanted to visit I must say I was a bit disappointed. The food was not anything to brag about and the decor was old and the building was very dark. But on a better note the service was excellent and everyone there was friendly.
Terrific food. Love the historical ambiance.
Excellent food and service as always.
The food was amazing, service was top notch, will come back again.
Had not been here in probably 25 years. Delightful. Great food and environment.
Great food. Giant desserts. Great service. It is a landmark building with a inside/outside feel. They have been in business for over40 years.
Not impressed at all. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. It tasted kind of bland. Great wine though! Like the ambience although I was expecting the place to be more polished, more upscale. Service was a little slow. Price was ok. I'll probably not go back.
Loved quaint, old fashioned interior with beautiful antique furniture. The food was delicious.
Excellent food! Dessert 's are great!
We went for Sunday morning brunch. The food really wasn't that good for the selection. It's not going to be on our list to return to. Service was very good though!
Great Management Team! Superb service, friendly community
Outstanding restaurant. The crab cakes and chocolate cordial pie are wonderful. The service and staff are unrivaled.
Love their salads and dressings. My husband really likes the ginger chicken. Such a staple for the Glendale community!
The cheesecake is to die for in the service is great
Chicken Pot Pie and Chocolate Mousse the best in the city. Can't wait to go back. Such a treat!!
Exquisite food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, "to die for" desserts ~ you gotta go!!!
Great ambiance, phenomenal desserts, a Cincinnati classic
Food and Service excellent
Ok food, but you go for the desserts.
This little restaurant is absolutely adorable and very high class and prim but without feeling stuffy. The inside feels like your little local bakery, the waiters are very polite and nice and like to give recommendations. It is an excellent place to go on a date. The food is great and the desserts are even better, I recommend the Apple cheesecake.
Great ambience, good food and absolutely worth trying one of the specials they offer for slow week nights. I will say that although it's very beautiful inside, there is a certain feel to it that seems a bit dated? It's very traditional and in a historic building which may account for that, but it definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Plan to get a full set of courses with dinner and dessert because you deserve to give that to yourself. It was very very worth it. Great date night place.
It has such fantastic service, the environment is wonderful. Highly recommend stopping in when you can.
Great food and service. Great atmosphere.
Beautiful restaurant, rich in history with amazing food!
Always awesome food! Love the Ginger Chicken, spinach crepe, and the atmosphere is perfect for when you want to impress a new friend! Deserts tend to be too big, unless you like to share!
Wine was not poured in front of us but at back door... Salad and bread felt like not fresh. Main course was ok.
Lovely gem. Not your stereotypical eatery. And yup the desserts are fab.
Good food and service. The brunch had a wide variety of food and was delicious.
Grand Finale is such a special and fabulous place to eat. So enjoy the Sunday buffet, each item is delicious.
Best brunch in town. Pricey, but that's what you get with the quality of food you get there. Great atmosphere and sevice!
Amazing food, superior service!
Love the food. I've been going for years and will continue to do so.
Great food, super service. High point expensive for casual lunch.
Great food and fantastic service for group of 12!
Grand Finale is the restaurant gem of Cincinnati. I've been there about five times and the food has always exceeded expectations. At this point I feel like I can blindly select any item on the menu and it will be delicious. If you're looking for a specific recommendation, try the cheesecake dessert. It's unbelievable!
Great food and service!
My sister recommended Grand Finale specifically for a Sunday morning brunch with the family, so I made a reservation for Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 1030am. The brunch was great, but the staff might be what really impressed me. Big thanks. Recommended for Sunday brunch, without a doubt.
I love Grand Finale the food is absolutely wonderful lunch prices are very reasonable great service. The best of course is the desserts
Food was excellent especially the white chocolate peppermint cheesecake and the artichoke fritters. Our server was very attentive.
Historic Cincinnati Restaurant, excellent food and service.
Favorite restaurant ever. Going since 1980. Odd occurance yesterday during polar vortex. Many staff were using glassed in "private dining area" to change into pressed whites, in full view of customers facing that way. Usually sit in patio and would not see this. Could have been effects of cold. If not; use rest room please.
Can't stop raving about the food, ambiance, service and overall spectacular experience. We had lamb, scallops, spinich crepes and a delicious soup of the day..lemon artichoke. SO YUMMY! Was so full but had to have dessert of the day..chocolate chip mint cheesecake with hot fudge sauce on the side. This place is a must go to when in the neighborhood. You Will NOT be sorry.
The shrimp lobster pasta was delicious. Wonderful service. Lunch portions large enough still for leftovers.
Good food, great atmosphere!
Great ambiance, great food, super service
One of my favorites. The cheesecake is to die for!
Food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The artwork on the walls is charming.
Awesome place for a special night out.
Not sure why all the hype. Maybe it was an off nite. Rickety table. Knowledgable waiter, but he had an odd attitude. We felt like he avoided us somewhat bc it was probably evident that I didn't like my entree as it was on my plate still. He took it off the bill, but I felt like I'd somehow offended him. We ordered the dessert of the day but they were out of it. So he brought something different "on him" without asking. We said oh, that isn't necessary, and we would have been happy with the custard. He went to take it away...he had even put a candle in it...but we stopped him and asked him to leave it. Later we asked him to use our phone to video us (anniversary) and he was helpful. I guess the 3 stars is about the odd way we were made to feel...and the fact that we were sitting at this wobbly table and had to wait for water refills at such an expensive restaurant. Whole thing seems overpriced. But maybe we should try it again and see if it is different.
In from out of town, visiting family, and we loved our dining experience here. High quality steaks and terrific desserts!
Always good food and great desserts. Thank you for allowing Ohio Valley Scottish Society to hold a fundraiser at your restaurant. We love doing this event for the past 11 years!
Great rack of lamb, crepes and avo salad
Quaint old fashion feel. Courteous staff. The food was absolutely Great! We went for Father's Day brunch.Definatly recommend reservations .Expect to spend between $ 50 - $75 for 2.I highly recommend the cheesecake. It's the best in Cincinnati.
I've been here a few times for dinner. The food was fine. Some areas of the restaurant are warm, others are cold. The meals are on the expensive side. The crepes are something you can't get everywhere. I hear all the deserts are great. We did really enjoy the chocolate cake with raspberries!
The restaurant is lovely. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. We've frequented the Grand Finale since it's opening and have never been disappointed.
I normally don't write reviews of restaurants because, while the food at some places is good...It isn't anything so spectacular that I feel the need to share it with people... This place however is a MAJOR exception... For my birthday, my future in-laws treated me to dinner here while in town, and they said to pick wherever I wanted, and not to worry about the cost. So clearly I chose to eat here. My fiancee and I have passed by here tons of times, and have wanted to try it out but a quick glance of the menu online made it evident that it was just a wee bit out of our price range...so here was our opportunity to try it out lol. I love to eat, I love to cook, I just generally LOVE the overall experience of a meal...and this place literally had me in tears because of the symphony of deliciousness contained within each bite. From beginning to end, the entire meal was beautiful. They start you off with some delicious house-baked rolls. There were two different kinds, the first being a denser roll with poppy and sesame seeds on top, the other was a very light and airy sweet roll...both of which were fantastic with a small pat of butter. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea (because they are one of my favorites considering I don't drink very often) and it was very well mixed and spot on with the flavor. For my main meal I had the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon, with a side Béarnaise sauce, I also ordered Spinach and Cheese Crepe, and a side salad. The salad was wonderful and fresh, it contained a crisp mix of salad greens, a quartered boiled egg, a few bits of properly ripened avocado, and a mixture of what I believe was mozzarella, mild cheddar, and romano cheeses, and I ordered the house special dressing which was a creamy avocado vinaigrette. The dressing was the super star of that salad, I have never had a dressing come close to how delicious it was, and it perfectly complimented the salad without overpowering it, but also making itself an integral flavor of the overall experience. After finishing my salad, from behind me I could almost swear that I had a choir of angels singing, singing to notify me that my tastebuds, and in fact, my whole life was about to be blessed with a treat from the heavens above... When my main course was placed in front of me, it took my breath away. The overall presentation of the plate was classy but not over done or tacky in any way. I ordered my steak medium and it was cooked PERFECTLY. The spinach crepe was served in a separate side dish, presented with beautifully golden brown cheese on top (still bubbling with pops of love and joy from the chef), and garnished with sprigs of fresh parsley, again, classy. I decided to start with my lovely steak which was so tender, I was able to cut it with the side of my fork. As I bit down into that tender, juicy, and divine piece of cow, I closed my eyes as my mind was immediately incapacitated by the shear perfection of flavor contained within that one small bite I placed upon my tongue. It was so tender that a toothless man with a broken jaw could have chewed it, and the flavor was so perfectly phenomenal that nothing could have been added or taken away to improve it. Or so I thought... I then tried my second bite after dipping the steak in my Béarnaise sauce, which was the textbook definition of a perfectly prepared béarnaise (which for anyone who has prepared one knows...it can go very wrong very quickly lol). The spinach crepe was every bit as wonderful as everything else I had eaten. They obviously used fresh spinach, which makes all the difference my opinion. It was made with a blend of Monterey jack, cheddar, shredded parmesan, and a wonderfully creamy bechamel sauce. After we were all finished our meals, they brought me out a little birthday treat. It was vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries in a berry sauce with a candle on top (which I thought was very nice), and again, because they aren't a tacky place, they didn't come out screaming happy birthday at me, off key. Overall...Perfection!!!
Good food and great dessert. Would recommend providing filtered water.
Beautiful building, very quiet place, great atmosphere, amazing food, and friendly staff
Good food, great service, wonderful atmosphere
I had my baby shower here. It's a lovely place with brick walls, paintings and floral arrangements scattered about nicely. It reminds me of an English garden tea party. Very ladylike. Perfect for a baby shower, engagement party, bridal shower, etc. We had two servers, both were excellent and very attentive. The place is small though, and really looks like a house that was converted into a restaurant, but they have their own parking lot, which is always plus. Also, the bathroom in the foyer has a bad smell, not sure if it's the pipes or the septic system or what; the bathroom isn't dirty, just smells bad. Despite that, it's still a very lovely place to host an event at.
Great food, great service.
Absolutely incredible. I wish I could give it more stars!
Beautiful building. Delicious food & Outstanding service. Will be back.
Not up to its reputation. Average food. However, our server was outstanding.
I love this place for lunch. Crepes are awesome. I am not a fan of Sunday brunch because it is buffet style and I came thirty minutes towards the end of brunch so slim pickings
Meal was excellent, my favorite desert, the Puff Pastry has shrunk.
What a great brunch! It was nice to have a beautiful brunch with my family. Nice to show my kiddos such a great Cincinnati icon.
The food atmosphere and waitress was all A++++. Generous portions hot and fresh. A group of us celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary. It is where my husband proposed to me 25 years ago. The Ginger Chicken has always been a favorite. EVERYTHING from the drinks, salads and desserts are delicious. Just go and see!
Crepes were ok but looked like they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Dessert menu hasn't changed in years. Too many cheese cake options. The same choices as Red Lobster. Service was fine.We have eaten here since it opened. We have never lived in Cinncinati. We will think twice before driving an hour to eat there.
The place was cozy and unique feeling. Our server was friendly and was helpful in offering her honest opinion on what she thought would make our experience enjoyable. The portions were large the food was delicious and the whole atmosphere was very classy. The place is aptly named because the highlight of our meal was the desert. I had a mint chocolate chip cheesecake and my girlfriend had something called the Puff and both were unbelievably good. Price was kind of high but definitely worth it. We got the full experience for just under $100 and I've been to restaurants that are way more expensive that aren't as good so definitely gets a 5 star from me. I will be coming back.
With friends celebrating a Birthday a great place for Birthday.
Wonderful old world European ambiance with an eclectic menu assortment. Mediterranean / italian / American I think. Clientele seems to be in the 50-60 ave age with many regulars. It's a wonderful local find and worth a try (and repeat)!
Luv it even though it's past its prime. Fancy food well prepared at very reasonable prices, just not enough patrons.
Had a great time at this restaurant. Went in for my wife's birthday and got seated in a nice part blocked off from other partons. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfect. Great drinks and even greater service from the waitress. I would definitely go there again if I was in the area.
Truly great food and service. A dinning experience to be savored...
This is my favorite restaurant. I love Grand Finale ginger chicken you can't go nowhere and get no chicken like this all I have is one word to say everything about this place is excellent the managers are super nice. The service is super great everything about it is excellent I love it
My husband and I ordered a $44 special- two entrees and a bottle of wine, or a dessert to share. Delicious!
Food was mediocre and over priced. Only saving grace were nice servers. But who charges 7$ for kids to eat a muffin. Definitely will not go back. Also no changing tables in the bathrooms.
Great luncheon. Superb crabcakes and neat atmosphere. Love this place
A delightful restaurant that really cares about their diners. We nine enjoyed a great meal served by Mike. Mike kindly explained to our younger diners the details of different salad and main course options that allowed these younger diners to join the clean plate club. This is an expensive place to eat and seeing these young diners really enjoy their meals was great for myself as the check paying adult...no funny faces, no foods wasted and a happy time. We sat, all 9 of us, at a round table with room for all. There is also a courtyard dining area for couples and foursomes that is more intimate. And yes, their desserts are super.
Love this place. Feel like I'm back to Getmany - cozy place with the European ambiance
Beautiful place great service great food
My 9 year old grandson has been saving his money so that he can take his Mom out for her Birthday Brunch on July 7th/2019. Ohhh, the Love a Son has for his Mom! ❤
Food was very good but not 5 star. Restaurant was holiday festively decorated but dated. Time for a menu change. Dessert was phenomenal!
Great atmosphere in a old town home turned restaurant. Breakfast buffet was great.
This place is an amazing brunch spot! We visited here with our extended family and took part in the buffet they are so well known for. One word, crepes. Specifically the chicken variety, but the bacon ones were also really good! In the buffet, they had soups, meats, rolls, eggs, and even desserts. Every bit of it was fantastic! We got a little tour of the upstairs as well, which was cozy and seemed very upscale should you wish to host a party. The wait staff were very nice, and items not on the buffet that were ordered came out quickly and piping hot! The only downside to this place was the bathrooms, which smelled as though the sewers had backed up something fierce. They were clean, and even had a continuous aerosol freshener going but the smell was still very bad. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!
Hosted a bridal shower here, it was a lovely place reasonable and cost, and food was delicious. You can bring your own cake or cupcakes as well to defray some of the cost
This is one of the places you go for special occasions or just to pamper yourself. Their Sunday brunch is amazing, but dinner any night is a special treat. Our friends hosted our daughter's "Couples Wedding Shower" here and the staff did a fantastic job. That on top of superb appetizers and dinner made it a night we won't soon forget.
Excellent dessert!
Food and service were excellent as usual.
Very nice and I love the decor. Food is really good.
We visit here everytime we come to Cincinnati. We usual make several trips when we are here. Awesome food. Love, love, love their Raspberry martini.
Consistently great food Excellent staff!
