Only 2 vegetarian options. I got the black bean burger because the other option has mushrooms as the main filler and it was disgusting. I believe the fries are also fried with seafood. I didnt ask and that's totally my bad but they sure tasted like it

The Gahanna Grill is always a great place to eat! We eat here frequently, and the food - highly recommend the Reuben sandwich and the Beanie Burger - is always very good. The portions are large! The staff also is terrific. Friendly, prompt, and helpful. Atmosphere is casual and cozy - nice for talking over lunch or dinner with friends. Definitely recommend!

Used to go to Gahanna Grill when friends live nearby often but still like to go back there my husband liked his Ruben , not too greasy I had it was lunchtime otherwise I would have gotten the chicken marsala which Now They don't serve it till after 4:30 but that was that's always been my favorite dish there.

I ordered the king prime rib cajun style to go. When I got home, I discovered the meat has turned (it was an off color gray-brown, sort of bark colored). I don't know why they would cook and serve bad meat, as I have never had a problem with them in 20 years, but it was what it was. The steak fries and mixed veggies were good, however. I ate them with a hot dog I grilled.

Nice Irish Bar and Restaurant. Could not get the cheeseburgers cooked right. Very friendly service. You can see and feel the history. Not use to their Cole slaw. Onion rings rate a 7. We will be back.

Cozy Americana place. Really surprising flavors and larger portions then expected for the price. You can tell this place is a local establishment rooted in celebrating Gahana. Nice little patio helps round out the intimacy of the interior. Interesting wall decor too.

Food is excellent and reasonably priced. The famous beanie burger, which has coleslaw on it, was delicious. The prime rib special was tender, well seasoned, and came with two sides. There is plenty of seating areas with an outside patio, a bar area, and two dining sections. The parking lot is small, but there is nearby on-street parking.

This is an incredibly busy place and we were hungry after flying. We had to hustle in and out to get back to Indy and I ordered the Fish and Shrimp basket. All good and especially the side of broccoli. Quick service, tasty for the most part, but it was packed - usually a good sign, as there were plenty of places around. Cordial staff and service oriented. OK but not award wining.

I went there with my family for my birthday dinner. I love the hometown atmosphere. My server Kelly was fantastic. We had the ribs and wings special. All of my special requests were done perfectly without any problems. My son had the Bleu cheese burger, and he inhaled it down really fast. My sister had shrimp and chicken. The portions are very generous and the prices are really reasonable. Love the Grill!

Gahanna Grill is a classic local bar and grill with oversized burgers and delicious fries and onion rings. We love to chill on their outdoor patio every chance we get. While the service can take some time, it is always friendly and accommodating. Try the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, my personal favorite. :-)

Since my Facebook comment was deleted, comments turned off, and I'm somehow unable to leave a review on Facebook, I will leave one here. If you can't take a complaint, maybe you shouldn't be serving the public. Stopped in Saturday night, 3/23/19, and ordered the Ribeye and my friend ordered the steak fajitas. The Ribeye was overcooked and was like trying to eat shoe leather. The fajitas were unappealing. The plate with the condiments (cheese, lettuce, guac) apparently had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The cheese was a melted glob and the lettuce was wilted. The tortillas had grease on them. After 20 minutes from receiving our food, the waitress finally decided to check on us. We told her about it and she asked if we would like our food remade. We had already been there almost an hour and it was getting late and we were starving. We declined and asked for a box and the check. We still took the food home because there's someone there that will eat anything. Finally after another 20-30 minutes, she finally brought the bill. After we paid, she tried to give us someone else's credit card. We have eaten there once previously and had a good experience. We may have even given them another shot after our most recent experience, however if they can't even acknowledge a bad review and delete them so it appears no one has anything bad to say, then I will not be back. Poor customer service.

I recently went in to finally try a Ruben sandwich. I had never had one before and wanted to see what the hype was about. There were plenty of great reviews online about this place in regards to the Ruben so I was very excited. I also got a grilled cheese sandwich. Let’s start with the grilled cheese. You would think that it would be the simplest thing to make. I asked for 3 cheeses and EACH of them was cold and not at all melted. On top of that the bread was incredibly burnt on both sides. And it was very very greasy, which makes no sense since the cheese oil couldn’t have made it that greasy. The Ruben was a different story entirely. The corned beef looked like something that came from a can, and the bread was burnt on both sides. The thousand island dressing came from a bottle and into a little container, not on the sandwich.The plus was that the sauerkraut was delicious. Service was alright, I got it to go so I didn’t really have an opportunity to see if they were great. All in all, this is not someplace that I will be returning to, if I could take it back; both my time and money, I would. In a heartbeat.

A very laid back and warm environment. Similar to some of the other local doors in the area, Gahanna Grill is a nice place to watch a game with friends and family without the rowdy crowds that normally patronize neighborhood pubs and eateries. The wood grain fixtures and comfortable seating, even the high top tables, allow you to enjoy the company of people and food. Good practices and quality food. Don't take my word for it, go grab a BEANIE Burger. It's worth it.

We ordered hamburgers today. Worst hamburger ever. All three of us left our hamburgers. The meat had no flavor. It tasted liked low grade beef. Now the fries are great and the spicy shrimp appetizer was so good. So disappointed in the hamburgers. Probably will not go back. I can not give a good review.

None of first review was true. There's not much parking and the place is pretty small. As we stepped in the door a waitress ran us down because she was in such a hurry to get out to the patio. I got a margarita that had no tequila in it for $6 and a fish sandwich. Blah! Husband had a very nominal reuben. Won't be going back. Seems like just a grubby old bar.
