Besides the fact that its was crowded the Sunday I went, the food was great and the service was excellent. Very family friendly. Accommodated to make us feel more comfortable by moving is to a booth after being initially seated at a table. Recommended for those Brunches with Mom or Breakfast with the Family.

I walked in and was greeted slowly. I wasnt sure if it was seat yourself or not. I was given menus and told to choose wherever I wanted. It was busy so people seem to like this place. It was lunch time and I saw many people ordered breakfasts. The restaurant appeared clean. The melt and fries I ordered were cooked to perfection. You could tell the grease was fresh and the grill kept clean by the appearance and taste. The waitress was prompt and friendly.

Gabe's Family Restaurant Very nice staff and very quick to refill drinks and to take orders even when the place is packed. Ordered the Gabe's Burger and it was perfectly cooked! Very delicious and the fried mushrooms were as well! Now onto dessert, the Lemon Meringue pie is OUT OF THIS WORLD. No issues what so ever!

First time eating here. Kept it simple with a western omelet and sausage with a cup of coffee. All was good and I had no complaints! Wait staff was super friendly! Loved seeing that they support local little league, by the plaques on the wall. Great sense of community. Very homey feel in the restaurant. Could maybe use some updating, but it was clean. I'll go back!

Gabe's, our go to for a good, inexpensive breakfast. The kitchen is consistent, service is fast and friendly, and the staff treats you like family. My only disappointment ever is that they changed suppliers for waffle batter. Waffles haven't been the same again.

Waitress failed to listen to my order then took it back replaced the bottom bun and acted like everything was fine. The burger patty tasted of freezer burn and was disgusting. The bacon and cheese were the only edible things besides the bun. Their Chiken noodle soup was good.

I like the home cooking love the soup specials the salad bar is always fresh the desserts are great good service clean surroundings.I will be back! I was there on Saturday morning I ordered blueberry pancakes and a egg omelet it came with home fries and Rye toast of my choice and coffee and cream. It was great. There was so much food I had to bring it home for another breakfast. I like the friendly service and prompt service. This is my new restaurant and the dinners and soup are also. Their salad bar is always freshly made and brought out regularly I like coming here to eat

I just love Gabe’s! I’ve lived in the neighborhood almost all my life and for some reason didn’t try them out until recently, but we usually get a to go order from them every weekend since. They’re definitely the best breakfast diner in Old Brooklyn. I’m particularly fond of the Irish Potatocake, but I’ve worked my way through most of the specialty menu by now and it’s all delicious. Staff and owner have always been friendly and pleasant.

Great family restaurant! Good comfort foods. We have been going there for about 12 yrs. The food is consistently good and best of all the waitresses are all fantastic! They treat you like family and they help each other out either with bringing your food when it's ready or refilling your beverages. You don't often find teamwork like that in a restaurant.

We went for mother's day breakfast the wait was 40 minutes, however they told us this as soon as we walked in and it was mother's day so you know your not going to walk in and be seated. All of the staff were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and we will be going back again.
