By far the best happy hour deals in the short north. But you’ll definitely need a reservation, it gets very crowded. I highly recommend the Violet Beauregard cocktail and most definitely the Brasato small plate.

This place was way better than I imagined. The person at our hotel front desk suggested this place and it definitely delivered. The grilled asparagus was the star to me. I don't know what the seasoning is that they use, but it was delicious. Also my coworkers loved the browned Brussels sprouts. For entrees, both of my co workers got the pizzas which they stated that they enjoyed and I got just a burger which was good as well. The service was excellent. You can't go wrong with this place.

Went here for Valentine's day friendly staff food was delicious and the seating that we had was perfect, prices reasonable. My favorite was their pizza if your going with a group the pizza is a shareable size. I highly recommend!

My friends and husband surprised me with a Birthday dinner here and it was fantastic! The salmon I ordered was delicious, the restaurant is gorgeous inside and the best part was the awesome server we had. Loved the complimentary strawberry shots for the table!

Great visit again with great service, food, and environment. Pepperoni pizza was great with tons of pepperoni. Salmon had a nice presentation and I heard it was flavorful. The chicken pasta I heard was ok but was not the table favorite. My soup and caprese salad were both great. Our appetizer selection consisted of calamari, brasato, burrata, and roasted garlic shrimp. Thumbs up to all four. I’m a fan of this place and have been pleased both times I went.

I LOVE Forno. The brunch is incredible, you HAVE TO get the Chicken and Waffles, it's delicious. It's also a very surprisingly affordable brunch considering hwo "high-end," the atmosphere is. The strawberry shots are also adorable and delicious! I highly recommend brunching at Forno if you have the opportunity, but make sure you make a reservation at least a couple days in advance!

I went here with my mother and my sisters. It was very busy, so we had to wait a few minutes for our table to be cleared even though we had a reservation. We all got pizzas and they were incredible. For desert we had the New York Cheesecake which was also excellent.

This place has a very attractive atmosphere with a bar, private event space, and good music playing in the background. Pizzas are the heart of the daily menu, but the weekend brunch here is especially phenomenal. They have all of the usual suspects on the menu, but add unique twists to most of them that really elevate the dishes. Service is friendly and typically pretty fast, even without a reservation. I'd highly recommend Forno for the overall experience!

I would love to say I enjoyed the food...but we're closed at 10:25pm on a Sunday...30 minutes early. It was the whole reason we drove to the short north. So, until they can keep hours and I can try them, 1 star.

Best happy hour in town. The drinks are delicious and the food is amazing. I love the calamari and Brasato for apps, Wild Mushroom Pizza or the Linguine with Clams for dinner. They also have a great brunch! I recommend making reservations during happy hour or weekend because this is the place to be!

I have yet to be disappointed with my visits here. The food is phenomenal and I cannot complain about the Mimosa Bottle Service! It's a great place to meet up with friends for any time of the day. Peak hours may slow down service but that is to be expected when they are busy. Be patient and they will serve you well, as with any restaurant.

I gave Forno Kitchen two stars because the service hit or miss but the waitress was really nice to me and my Family. The food selection pretty much has something for everyone and their drink selection is great too. We had a party of 7 and it took over 30mins for them to prepare our food, and yet there were items that still were not cooked completely. I think this place is a great pub to drop in and grab a drink and a quick snack but not a place I would take a large family group to.

This is a very fancy restaurant and the prices are VERY affordable. The ambiance of the place makes it great for birthday celebrations, romantic dates, and a hangout for friends to get dressed up or chilled. Great food and drinks!!! They even have personal purse hooks under the tables and along the bar.

Great wine selection. Calamari, roasted garlic spread, ricotta spread appetizers were all fantastic. I got the filet, it was chewy and not noteworthy. Husband said his pasta was ok. Our friends both got pizzas they liked. Takeaway, a not as good Martini with pizza. Go for appetizers and drinks instead. (Also the waits are CRAZY, always have a reservation).

I always go here for happy hour and think that they have the best happy hour in Columbus! The drinks are great 1/2 off and so are their pizzas and a number of other things on their appetizer menu. It can get quite loud in there so just know that it if you are looking for a meeting place as it's likely not the option and you definitely need or are recommended to have reservations!

Service was great, ambience is romantic and for going out on weekends. Food was mediocre. We had the meatball linguine. Sauce was a little different for my tasting as it tasted like there was way too much olive juice or something in the pasta sauce. House salad was decent. The roasted potato side was probably the best thing we had there. I would want to try again for their pizza. Def not the best food in columbus but would have a date night here for sure. We really appreciate the server bringing out the pasta and salad divided out for us.

This place is a perfect example of what is wrong with the new Short North. The service was mediocre at best. The music and lighting made me feel like I was eating dinner at a night club. The portions were more similar to tapas, but at entree prices. The roasted chicken was seriously lacking any seasoning. We sent it back, and when it returned it was sprinkled with salt and pepper. A roasted chicken from Costco is more flavorful than this was! I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon.

I've been to Forno twice for brunch. The food has been fantastic both times and the restaurant itself is a really cool spot. It's always been packed on Saturday mornings which was a good indicator that it must be worth checking out. The wood fired pizza is delicious. Their chicken and waffles are a great take on a classic. Chicken and Waffles... As soon as this plate was dropped off to me I frowned. I thought to myself "that chicken doesn't look fried.." There was no crust or crispiness to the skin what so ever.. The meat was juicy and there was some slight flavor but the chicken didn't match the hype of the dish. The waffle was cool. It was a liege style waffle. The texture was pretty good and the syrup seemed to be a real maple syrup. Could have used two waffles since they are quite small. Also would have wanted another piece of chicken but I would have been complaining even longer about the chicken. Might come back to try the pizza but would only try the Chicken and Waffles if it were free.

Insanely noisy. They screwed up my order (delivered a pizza instead of a frittata, and did not offer to adjust the bill despite the fact that I wound up eating after the others grad finished, which was unprofessional to say the least). That said, the food was outstanding, especially the ricotta appetizer. Still, getting an order wrong, it happens. But not offering to adjust the bill - that should never happen in the hospitality business.

What makes this restaurant the best for me is because of their simpler menu. The emphasis they put into their decor is the same as how they put efforts in their food even if it is homemade and simple. As soon as they serve the meals, it is expected that all are freshly cooked giving aromatic and mouth-watering experience. Their polite and welcoming staffs and waiters are also praiseworthy for their hard work. These are just some of the reasons why I find this restaurant as my dining haven.

First time in Forno I'm a french toast person, I went around town and tried french toast everywhere that has it. I'd say their french toast was really good, the only thing I don't like is the bread, they cut it too small like triangle, for me french toast should be a good piece of bread! But I do love how they put it together with nutella, I want to have this french toast every morning! Plus their caramelize banana was one of the best! The breakfast pizza.. i didn't like this so much the crush was really sticky(?) it was so hard to cut it! :/ but order french toast!

The environment it's very friendly, making it easy to browse through the menu, which has unlimited options for you to try the different mix of flavors. LOVED this for dinner. Get the strawberries on the cocktail menu - you wont regret it. The flat bread is also very good. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I like this place. I’ve been here before and have had a great experience. Tonight I’ve never felt more unwelcome to enter an establishment. I’m a go-with-the-flow kinda guy who gets embarrassed when my girlfriend points out/doesn’t tolerate good service. But what happened tonight compelled my to write my first review ever. I walked in and was immediately chastised by the host who said “You don’t have a reservation?!” My girl I had just finished dinner and wanted a cocktail after. We replied ‘No we’re just going to the bar.’ She promptly replied back with “Okay go ahead” in and extremely condescending and judgmental tone. Like I said I usually brush these things off but it was so profound I decided to actually write a review.

Love their happy hour. A number of small plates are half off. Though that doesn’t apply to takeout orders. They’ve always been accommodating when we bring our little kids too. Even helping us find a place to stash the stroller. Though it’s definitely more of an adult hangout. Nice little patio on a great corner. They make a great Moscow mule.

Causing me to miss the cut off time of 6pm to get the happy hour special.
