Great food, great prices, authentic Americana. I love going to local restaurants and seeing how people act, hearing what they say and discovering a little about a place from the inside. The Fairport Family Restaurant let me do that, and it was great! Fine food and good service made it even better.

Good local dining. Small, 1 room diner with typical diner food. But you get good food and a good amount for the price. It is also a block from the beach so it is a good place to fill up before heading home.

I enjoy eating here. The food is delicious and priced reasonable. I suggest the Chicken Parmesan and the burgers, also the roast beef is great. The homemade pies are to die for, and the service is excellent. So if your ever in the harbor Fairport that is, check out this little gem in the rough.

We had 7 people and came in 1 hour before they shut the kitchen down and close. They were accommodating. The waitress was so inviting and sweet. This small family restaurant by the beach has great food and a great staff. Definitely will stop again.

What a neat surprise! A quaint restaurant on the main street in Fairport Harbor. I had the liver and onions which was the best that I have had in a very long time. Definitely worth the trip to Fairport Harbor. And, don't forget to visit the maritime museum and the Scandinavian museum and the beautiful beach at the Fairport Harbor Metropark.

They have great service. The most amazing cakes you can ever imagine, but get in early because they are homemade they do run out. They have outdoor seating where you can see some of the lake. The inside is a little cramped, but I think the good food makes up for it. If your headed to the beach I would highly recommend.

I like the small atmosphere of this resturant. I will be back to try out their lunch menu. Breakfast seemed very average and underwhelming. I am willing to give it another chance. The french toast was flavorless, but the eggs and bacon were fine. It was very crowded for a reason, and I think that I missed that reason. Until next time...

Slow service. The food tasted like it was pulled out of a microwavable dinner. Not that it was THAT bad, but it wasn't particularly good. Everything comes with watered down soup. On the plus side, it was a cheap dinner. We made it out of there with only paying about $20 including tip.

I ordered the parmesan chicken with the spaghetti to go. With it came a saide salad, which I got french dressing for, and an italian wedding soup. The chicken parmesan was tender and well cooked. The bredding was a little thin, but the amount of sauce and cheese on the chicken made up for it. The spaghetti was decent, although the nodles were very girthy and had watery sauce to accompany it. The spaghetti was a real bottle neck when deciding what to rate this meal. The Italian wedding soup is where my biggest greivences lie. First off, the broth is watery and has very little flavor. The meat chunks, what i assume is some form of sausage, were too big and flavorless. Finally, the noodle saucers all sunk to the bottom and contributed nothing to the soup. They also did not give me saltine crackers, where as the person I got lunch with did. The side salad was pretty average. The price of the meal came to around 11$ which is a very good price for chicken parmesan. Overall, the only real problem with the meal was the soup and the spaghetti. 4/5 for price and chicken alone.

We are in the Fairport Harbor area for a softball tournament and had breakfast here on Sunday around 10am. The everything omelet were great, they have homemade corn-beef hash in them. We had excellent service and the atmosphere is friendly and appreciative. Certainly a place that we will go to again when in the area.

The people were absolutely amazing and really helped us out when we requested an outside seating in order to watch our car while we left it running for pets (we stopped by in the middle of a road trip). The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was great!! Portions were fantastic and the prices were surprisingly low for said portions we got. Short wait and attentive staff.

We dropped by this restraunt when in town for work, and returned the remainder of the week for more. The food is delicious, their menu options are quite extensive, the wait staff courteous and welcoming, and the atmosphere inviting. This, coupled with the small, hometown diner feel, will ensure your visits are as great as ours were.

Cute little place. Went there for breakfast. It was very good. Had a french toast combo. The french toast part was just ok. It wasnt authentic hand dipped into egg. Just like the imitation french toast you get everywhere else. The eggs were good. Bacon was the best I'd ever had at any resturant. Atmosphere made you feel like you were on vacation. Wait staff was friendly. Great selection of menu items. Prices were comparable to perkins. Its family friendly but very small and cozy so if you have kids that dont behave or get impatient id go somplace else as to not disturb other guests. I would never bring my grandkids there. Lol

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had, server literally came to the table and said what do you want, never checked back, never said have a good day nothing, threw our plates at us when food came. Told the table next to us not to spill their drink refill because she was busy. Food was ok nothing to rav home about but service will make sure we never return
