Great Cameron Mitchell's restaurant I believe one of the first. I usually get the Filet which has been cooked perfectly every time. The service is phenomenal here as well our last trip my wife did not care for her vegetable plate(not cooked wrong just wasn't what she thought) Our server was quick to offer another option and when we declined she removed the order from our bill. Certainly not necessary but a very kind gesture.

Party of six, one meal did not arrive when other meals were served. Server apologized, another person offered soup and then a manager came to table apologizing. Fifteen minutes later the ceasar salad and chicken arrived. Yes, a very small salad with chicken. Comped....NO!, but a check presented for over $400. Cameron's restaurants are really starting to fail in customer service!. Columbus has to many other options to keep repeating visits.

we have party of 4. EVERYONE loved what they ordered! if you order calamari, take a (small) bite of the roasted, slightly charred lemon rind. very interesting flavor! I love the mushroom+teriyaki sauce with rice that came with the salmon. I had pork chop, big chunk of meat. seared surface locked in the juice. very tender and flavorful. one of our friends rated the rice pudding "the best I have ever tasted!"

We have been here before. We will be there again. Last evenings meal was as good as ever, and the table service by James was excellent. I have been looking at the pan fried chicken for some time but have instead chosen outstanding dishes such as their scallops or shrimp and grits. This time I had the chicken. Outstanding. Have loved the original Cameron's concept for 25 years but recently had an experience that blew me away. My sister and I dined on a Thursday night at Cameron's...no reservation and house was packed as usual. I shared with the assistant manager, Jeni, how my sister had been through a particularly rough 2 months and could we do something special for her (I had no idea what, but was more than expecting to pay for whatever it was)...I suggested a martini might be just the thing, since we knew the food would be off the chain. Five minutes after we were seated, Jeni herself brings 2 pineapple-infused martinis to our table-COMPLIMENTS OF THE HOUSE. Always a fan of Cameron's concepts, though sadly I am no longer in the Columbus area...am now a partner of Cameron's...for life.

There come's some expectations with eating at a Cameron's restaurant in Columbus. His restaurants tend to set the bar high, and almost always achieves those expectations. My visit here recently was no exception. Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Some might find the tables are a little close, so it can seem a little loud for what otherwise might be considered a romantic place to eat.

My husband and I went to Cameron's on Valentine's day. We had the most amazing experience. Our server was awesome! He was engaging without being too much and really took care of us. We tipped him very well for his service and let the manager know how pleased we were with our visit. Excellent service aside, the food was top notch and what you'd expect from a nicer restaurant. It was well worth the price and not overly pricey either. We'll definitely be back.

We used to go to Cameron's for special occasions because the food was good, but more because they took care of all the details that made the dinner feel special. However, my husband took me there for our ten-year anniversary recently, and we were both really disappointed. He asked for a ginger ale, and our server forgot it. We could not get her attention, so we finally had to stop another server. Then his steak was almost raw (he ordered it medium). They refired it, and our server returned with it when I was halfway done with my meal. She didn't stay to make sure it was okay, but just said, "Hopefully this new one is better" and left, not returning until five minutes later. And it wasn't a new one (it had just been turned over). The manager stopped by later to apologize, but didn't offer to get our drinks or apps. When we went to leave, they did not offer to pack the rose for us like they always do. My husband left a very generous comment card, but no one from Cameron's reached out to us. This lack of service orientation has made us decide that, if we are going to pay for service and quality, we want to get it and we will have to get it elsewhere.

Solid but not outstanding. I tried the calamari, Caesar salad, and duck breast. The calamari itself was fine, not too tough. But felt like 60% of the plate was taken up with the chips, and not enough actual calamari. The Caeser was fine as well; good dressing, and croutons, but didn't stand out. And the duck was good, but given the description, I expected more flavor from the sauce. But it felt disconnected from the sauce. So no complaints at all, everything was solid, but nothing stood out. And for the price, I was expecting more.

My boyfriend and I went here for valentines day weekend and WOW were we so impressed. The staff is sharp and wonderful. Customer service is fantastic. But obviously the best part was the food. We ordered so many things on the menu and every single one was so perfectly made and tasted so good. Full disclosure - my wife and I have loved almost every experience we've had at Cameron Mitchell restaurants. This one was no exception! We started dinner with the Calamari appetizer and the chef was happy to prepare it with cornstarch instead of flour for my wife who is gluten free (all Cameron Mitchell restaurants do a GREAT job with gluten free options). I had Shrimp and Grits and my wife had a special fish dish and we both thoroughly loved our entrees. The best thing we had though was the Meyer Lemon Gratin dessert. This soft cookie with lemon cream and berries was absolute perfection! Thanks to Cameron's for a wonderful evening!

Food was fine. But I damaged my vehicle in the parking lot. Keith Moorehead the manager promised the insurance company would take care of it. So I did not file a police report. Then he lied to the insurance company saying that there was no damage to my vehicle. Now the front bumper of my vehicle is all scuffed up, from driving over a sewer grate and having it break. Will no longer patronize any Cameron Mitchell establishments.

My husband and I love this restaurant however we just had such an awful experience that I'm not sure we will return. We put our name in with the hostess and then walked over to the bar to order a cocktail while we waited. Something we have done several times before. Standing at the bar, four seats opened up and my husband and I sat down along with a couple of guys whom we didn't know. After the bartender served us our drinks he asked us to get up and give our seats to another couple who had been apparently standing around the bar for 30 minutes. The bar is first come first serve. We have never been asked to get up once we have sat down because someone else had been waiting for an area that is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! If you aren't paying attention and seats open up at the bar that's your problem!

Great bar service from Jessup. Bar is full service dining and feels smaller than other restaurants (maybe 10 stools) which was part of the appeal. It felt intimate with a single bartender taking care of you.

What's not to like, if you're in the mood for fine dining in a casual atmosphere Cameron's is a gem. The menu offers a variety of dishes, the food is packed full of flavor. The bar has a great selection of wine and if you can fit it there are some wonderful desert choices. Its an intimate space so reservations can be helpful.

Disappointing... We eat a Cameron Mitchell restaurants a lot and have loved Cameron's in the past but this time, new years eve, it fell quite short. The service was amazing, but my steak tasted like it was frozen. It was grainy and tough but cooked properly. My wife is a vegetarian and the vegetable plate was awful. Yes we will give them another chance, and the first time I was there about a year ago I had one of the best steaks I've ever had. I will update this after my next meal.

It's not often that we get to splurge on a family meal, so when we do, we make the most of it. We've been to Cameron's American Bistro three times, and it has been an awesome experience every time. The service is impeccable, the food is staggering, and if you don't get dessert, you made the wrong choice. The nice thing about Cameron Mitchell restaurants, is that most of them are kid-friendly. My wife had the walleye, I had the pork chop, and my daughter had the chicken fingers. All three of our meals were made from scratch, and even the chicken fingers were remarkable. I highly recommend a trip to Cameron's American Bistro.

If you're looking for a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, go to cap city. The food there is equal quality at a much lower price and better interior vibe. When it comes to the atmosphere and service its a nice place to dine. But, sadly I don't think I would be going back anytime soon. Drinks were nice and pricey, along with a dried out medium-well steak, that could break a tooth, will run from $34-$39 dollars. For me and my date we spent roughly $119 with a tip. Although hearing the conversation of other costumers was more appealing, especially when you cater to Worthington's most pompous residents. Please dress nice so you don't stick out and be sure to bring some reading material, your drinks could take awhile.

Great mid-grade Cameron Mitchell restaurant...attire is business casual, service is top notch, drinks are average, & the food isn't as good or as bad as others. We visit here quite often & I normally order the lamb chops (thats what I would recommend) this time I ordered their walleye (they claim they're known for it) & it was very mundane at best. Still don't let that discourage you, this place is worth the reservation!
