One of the best Indian food in taste and quality. Ambience is excellent and you get a feel of an upscale restaurant!! I had tried Dinner and also lunch buffet. Food quality was very good. What i liked about lunch buffet was plenty of options in both Vegetarians and Non-veg food, and not to miss delicious desserts! On both the visit we were served by Baldev and Roshelle and they provided excellent service!! Will definitely go to this place again and i hope the owners maintain the level of quality and service

We went for dinner and food were excellent. For appetizers, we got the garlic naan and roto paratha. The chutney that came with the appetizers were delicious. All the selection from "sea and land" can be customized with 1-5 spicy level and your choice of chicken/goat/fish/shrimp. All that we ordered were delicious and relatively big portion (the bowl looks small, but there is a lot of food in there). For dessert, we had the mango milk shake - very refreshing! Next time: lunch buffet!

There are a lot of good Indian restaurants in the vicinity. This one is a must try because 1) they offer some different items and preparations than the competition and 2) what they make, they do very well! Had the buffet and well worth the money to get a truly unusual combination of both quantity and quality of dishes. Going to be back for sure. Note to management if they read this: get some more signage around the crosswoods area announcing you are now open; it’s not immediately obvious or visible outside your parking lot!

Fantastic location for a quick delicious lunch. The buffet had a wide variety of dishes and they were all great. My favorites were the palak paneer and the goat curry. Staff was courteous and very attentive. I will be back wherever I'm in the area.

I couldn't wait to give this place a try once it opened. Aangan is a great addition to the Columbus restaurant scene. It's really the only date-night worthy Indian restaurant; it has beautiful ambiance with high ceilings, chandeliers, and personable servers. The food is just as high quality as the the environment implies. The curries are very flavorful and not overly creamy. The naans and bhatura come in generous portions. I haven't checked out the lunch buffet, but I'd imagine the food quality doesn't diminish for that. Prices are no higher than your average Indian restaurant in town either. All-around thumbs up for Aangan Bistro!

Great new Indian restaurant. Very nice interior and attentive service. Tikka masala with chicken was a hit with the girls, and my lamb vindaloo had a deep rich flavor. I got 5 spicy on the 1 to 6 scale, and could have gone hotter. The naan was fresh and just the right crisp on the bottom. We'll be back here for sure.

Great ambiance, good food, great service and cleanliness. Unlike other Indian restaurants, they don't over use butter and spices. We got social attention since we showed up early before they get busy! I have heard the buffet is good. I think we will definitely come back to try the buffet!

This is the best Indian food in all of Columbus hands down! And for an incredibly affordable price. I went here for the lunch buffet with a friend and loved the atmosphere. The staff was also very polite and incredibly well dressed. I don't give five stars easily. This is an exceptional place!

Love this place, great food, love the chicken Ginger Kadahi and vegetable samosas. Roshelle is great, very knowledgeable of menu, and I can tell she has a sweet soul. They opened up around 1.5 months ago, and their care and passion shows in their food. Weekend chaat bar was such a great experience!! The only problem is I ate too much :)

DELICIOUS!!! I also enjoyed the service and the ambiance. It was beautifully decorated, spacious and everyone was very polite and attentive. I was having lunch with a friend who has Celiac disease. The host took time to point out which of the dishes she should avoid due to gluten sensitivity and even to double check on a couple of dishes with the cooks. I honestly cant recommend one thing over the other, try everything!!! I didn't get the opportunity to try any of the desserts but I plan to return.

Well! Ambiance and servive I would give 5 But when it comes to food dude they really need to improve on that. Chilli chicken was sweet. They used same masala over tandoori chicken. I mean seriously ?? who does that? Fish pakora was fairly nice. butter chicken: greavy was sweet agaim and chicken was slightly undercooked. Veggie platter: 3/5 kulfi was really good expensive : super expensive I have to think twice before visiting again. but ya ambiance and service is amazing. very kind people I would say!

The Buffet here is always fresh and delicious, but as today it was my Son’s birthday party celebration me and my wife opted to go by Menu, the items which my son likes the most!!! We ordered Shahi Paneer, Baingan Bhartha, Yellow Dal Fried, Cheese Naan, Raita, Tandoori Roti, Raita etc. etc. Every item came was beyond our expectation delicious, decently served by beautiful and well behaved servers under fantastic ambience. Unfortunately up dates donot allow me to give more than 5 Starts, I had to satisfy up to 5 Star ratings though it’s really beyond that. Very well going Lakhbir Singh Ji and his family -:)

While working at the Columbus Ohio, on my way I came across an Indian restaurant - Aangan India Bistro. I had a lunch buffet as I had to pull on late in the evening. It’s a Veg. + Non Veg. Restaurant, newly opened in the city. I am Vegetarian by birth, tried all items like Saag Paneer, Dal Makhani, Malai Kofta, Paneer Bhuma, Aloo Gobi - And , Chaat, Samosa, Basan Ki Barfi, Gulab Jamun, Mix Pakora and what not, though I was required to work through out the balance day. I am a man of marketing, don’t usually put words for any restaurant unless it’s extra ordinary good - or worst. Thank God this was not a usual or worst experience having lunch here, it was simply fantastic !!!! The service was too good and I really appreciate and wish best of luck to this new restaurant with experienced old team of Chefs.

Upscale Indian restaurant, excellent flavor profile, nicely presented, friendly staff. We dined on a Friday night, surprisingly modest crowd. Authentic air with native staff, transitional décor. This is not your dad's version of an Indian restaurant. Menu was adequate in choice perhaps lacking in distinctive clarity among some dishes but sufficiently diverse. Entrés priced between $13-$15, many à la carte items as well. Got the impression they were relatively new at this location. Good team work from serving staff clearing dishes and covering for each other. Will definitely go back next time in town.

*****Good For Dieting******* (because you won’t eat much) I am not sure what’s the point of the buffet. There was hardly anything enticing. We came here thinking it’s a new restaurant in the are and it might offer some cool stuff. But it’s same old stuff. Maybe some folks might like it, for me it was just plain old Indian restaurant of an era wherein not many Indian restaurants existed. Which means anything and everything would work. Anyhow, the decor is beautiful and it is a huge restaurant, so it could be a great place for parties and events. I just hope they add more variety in the buffet like other competing restaurants nearby if they want to attract more people and the taste of food being a little authentic, and not just templated stuff.
