The food is excellent and the portions are very generous. The restaurant is always neat, tidy and clean. The bathrooms are always shining. The only drawback that I see, is they generally have only one waitress on duty, and she runs her legs off waiting on everyone in a timely manner. It would be much better if the manager would schedule two or more waitresses on each shift. The wait time is not long, but I just feel sorry for her running around as fast as she can. She works extremely hard for her pay and tips.

Worst service anywhere. Drinks never refilled, never asked if we need anything, wait forever for checks and always have to flag someone down. It is rarely busy we are there, either middle of the afternoon or later in the evening. So bad it is now my last choice.

The service was poor due to the time and people in the restaurant. The food could be better; it has been better in the past. It seems it depends on the day and time if you had good food and service or not. I would love to see them do better in the future.

Best. Caramel. Roll. Ever! It even came with more whipped butter than a person could use. The eggs, biscuits and gravy platter my husband had was good, but he would have liked a little bit more sausage in the gravy. The prices are very good - cheap really for what we got. The coffee and tea were generous with several tea selection brought to the table. The coffee I had was a little lackluster, but it seems you can order premium coffee as well. The entire restaurant was spotless and the service was excellent! They put out the salad bar just before we left and I was impressed by how fresh everything was. It looked like it had all just been picked from the garden. There wasn't a big selection, but I have seen smaller in bigger eateries. The soups smelled so good, it almost made me hungry all over again. This was our first time at this place, but certainly won't be our last. It was very relaxed and comfortable with great prices, service and food.

Food over all was good, gravy was a little bland. Initial service was good and food came out quickly. I couldn't get my tea refilled eventually waved her down and she said she would bring refill, which never happened. Place was fairly full so may have been a staffing issue.

Also wanted to clarify, definitely nothing wrong with a small town family restaurant. You get to know all the staff well and they know you! My Dad and I usually have breakfast there once a week, so no complaints from us!

The manager is rude. I asked for more soup bowls on the salad bar and to see if they could refill the pudding and I didn't even get an ok, he just walked away and got the soup bowls. The pudding never got refilled. We were there for over an hour. Everything else was filled, but not the pdding. It also took 10 minutes for the server to come to our table to ask us for our drink order. The cooks were fast though.

Service and food were excellent as usual. Glad to see Wayne was still there. April 1997 Wayne came to the rescue of over 100 people that were stranded at the Comfort Inn when the flood was devastating our homes. He made burgers and fry's and arranged for a tow truck to deliver them to us. We were all very hungry and its all we had until the Red Cross could reach us the next day. He went way above and beyond. Thank you Wayne

Came here tonight after work and I'm very glad I did. Aaron was our server/host (3 a.m.). He was personable, attentive, and accommodating. Food came out promptly and was as ordered. Hashbrowns were crisp, eggs were perfect, and the muffin (pistachio) was fantastic. Thank you. We will be returning. Went in today after work( 3:30 a.m).and wow...what a difference. My spouse and I ordered an appetizer and it came out hot and piping. However the onion rings were burnt, and the cheese balls were over cooked. Three pieces of chicken done right. (Different items have different cook times despite fryer temp f.y.i.) We spoke with the server, Isabelle, who was sympathetic, as we ordered our entree. When our omelet arrived it was topped with a broken slice of cheese and as you can see our hashbrowns were far from done; they were a half inch of singed potato starch. Really?! Over and under anyone? Our food was comped and we decided to have a split dessert at home so we approached the counter. As we stood there listening to rock music's cacophony emanating from the kitchen we heard the "cook" say " hey you got those people staring at you at counter"...that was enough. We walked out after tipping the Isablle 10.00 $ for the attempt. All that to come to the following; 1. 70% food done poorly, with disregard for presentation, or inedible 2. Music blaring from kitchen 3. Microwave oven being constantly used 4. Lack luster attitude and unprofessionalism Not sure I'll ever return. Such a huge let down. Having worked in the service and hospitality industry for 15 years I'm truly at a loss for words.

One of TWO businesses in Wahpeton still open 24 hours, the other being the gas station across the street. I was greeted and seated immediately by a hostess. I ordered eggs benedict and a side of "big" bacon. Food came quickly, hot, and all properly prepared. Server was attentive and friendly. Dont be put off by the $4.79 price for the bacon. It's not your regular paper thin, bland commodity bacon most places serve. You get 4 thick, hearty slices cooked perfectly, with a REAL smoky butcher shop flavor. Worth it!! I'll be back.

We were visiting from out of state and decided we would try it out, when we received our food, the french fries, ham & cheese omelet and hash browns were cold. Never once did our waiter come over to ask how it was or refill our water glasses when they were empty my husband had to drink our child's water just to wash down the cold undercooked food. Next time we are in town definitely will be avoiding this restaurant.

I ordered eggs scrambled and hashbrowns crispy. That is all that was correct. Both the eggs and hashbrowns were too cold to eat and once we had our food the waitress didn't come back until the bill. This was 10:00 on Saturday night so it's wasn't like a prime meal time. Another in our party didn't get what she ordered. And all in our group of 5 stated there meal must have sat a while in the kitchen before it was brought out as none of them were hot.

These guys have pretty good food here. Kinda pricy though. If I recall correctly, a chocolate shake is $5 bucks (before tax) and a nice cheeseburger and fries runs you around $11 bucks (before tax).

I visited this place at 1 am on July 1st with a friend of mine. He ordered the rib basket as i ordered the king size patty melt. When we got our food he rib basket looked like an animal had chewed all over it and when we talked to Anita who was in charge she took the basket and after about five minutes and asked if we order this while having an attitude. She then begins to tell my friend he is wrong and should have just ordered the rack of ribs since the meat is tender and that happens when its cut, I can say as a chef myself those ribs would NOT have looked that way.

Honestly very disgusted with my visit. I decided to order the spaghetti and it took them half an hour for them to tell me that they didn't have any. By that time, everyone else at the table was getting their food and so I had to quickly order something else. I choose the meatloaf. It came out really quick suprisingly, but that was the issue. It was cold in the middle and easily the most disgusting meatloaf that I have ever had. I have been there many times before and it is normally not that bad. On occasion though, you will get experiences like this.

Been here several times and this was not the best, typically great food and service. This time food was subpar for all four of us. Service was ok as there was a new person training. The trainer was not doing a very good job but the trainee was doing great with what she had to work with.

I ordered biscuits and gravy with a slice of ham. The gravy was out of a can. The biscuits we're from a package. I ordered a piece of pie and it looked like it came from the bottom of the refrigerator I do not recommend eating here due to the quality of the food. A man suck at the table next to me put his phone on speaker and had a conversation for over 5 minutes. I asked the manager if he could ask the man to talk quieter without being on speaker and then he asked me to move if I didn't like it. So there is my one star I will never eat there again.
