In Bismarck on our way to Medora and stopped at Sickies on the recommendation of our hotel. Interesting, cool atmosphere. More like a sports bar. TVs everywhere all tuned in to college sports games. The menu was pretty long but burgers were the primary offering with lots and lots of variations. Kobe beef burgers also. And chicken sandwiches. True for the fries, too. A good number of options for your sides. And beers! Inly a few cocktail offerings and those were not too appealing. But it is definitely a beer and burger place. My burger was very tasty and the deep-fried bacon and cheese filled tater tot appetizers were super good. Service was swift and extremely courteous. Waitress was very, very friendly. Would go here again if I lived in or around Bismarck and didn't mind the calories!

Absolutely recommend visiting!! We arrived late and the staff was incredibly welcoming! They went above and beyond to make sure our little one also had a great time! The atmosphere is definitely more of a "man cave" vibe but still fun! There's a huge menu and everything we ordered was delicious! There is also an impressive selection of tap beer! This restaurant is with out a doubt worth the visit!

The food is great, the prices.. not as much. The burger lunch deals are fantastically priced and are easily worth the money but other meals there are less than favorably priced. Wings are nearly triple the price of other bars and lounges. Other than this small issue though, I love the place so I still recommend it to any burger fan!

Tasty food and a good beer selection. I enjoyed the Sickies Burger with waffle fries. Their "Oh yeah" sauce is just the right amount of spicy. They have a good kids' menu too. I saw they have an all you can eat wings option for late night happy hour. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Outdoor seating is also an option.

Service was extremely slow. I get that it was backed up (there was a 30+ minute wait for a table), but it was slow even after we were seated. The previous table's check was still sitting on the table when we were seated, a good sign that the table wasn't properly cleaned. My wife didn't get a refill until we were handed our check to pay. We were also apparently seated in a high traffic area, people constantly yelling that they were right behind me (just bad luck on the table location I guess). The food was awesome, however. Overall we graded the service as not good, but the food as great, so 3 stars. I'd love to grade it higher, but just can't.

Service was very good and the food even better. Recommend the Twin Cam or the Bacon Lovers burgers but only if you have a large appetite or want leftovers for lunch the next day. For sides I prefer the Rusty Bucket Tots for the win!

Was really neat looking, we didn't eat only had malts. They were good tasted like any other malt. But I felt the malt price was a bit on the high side. The food looked really good and seemed to be fairly priced. We will definitely go back and try it. My other disappointment was the bartender, she was our server, because we sat at the bar. She was not every pleasant, didn't smile at all. Gave is the wrong change back. Hopefully the service will be better next time.

We waited an hour before we complained and just like that, the waitress goes and gets our food but it's cold. The excuse given was they were so busy, but half the restraunt was empty and we had been seated immediately. Wasted over an hour of our Fourth Of July. Never going back.

Asked how fast we could get served-was told right away then waited over 30 minutes for the worst food I've ever had! I ordered the Monte Cristo with Kettle Chips & a Raspberry Malt. My man ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich with fries. The turkey had an odd taste....like it was spoiled & both the fries n kettle chips were cold. I didn't have to pay for my order but I'd rather pay and enjoy my food.

Great burgers. Lots of options. My husband loved the gluten free bun. Only thing we would change was us 2 were put at a table for 8 and there were a lot of smaller options available. We were also sitting right under air blowing and it would blow our straw wrapper right off the table. It was cold sitting there and had to eat with our coats on.

This place is just flat out cool.. Awesome collection of old hotrod memorabilia. Tables made from old engine parts welded to racefuel barrels. It's like an oversized man cave for you and all your buddies that serves up some mean grub and any beer you want.

I ordered orange mango garlic all you can eat here and it came out as mango habanero very hot. They wanted to make me some others but I didnt have time to wait for it nor did they want m to really take it to go. So I asked if they just had ice cream and all's they had was shakes I said yes sir all take that cause my mouth and lips were on fire they did take the all you can eat wings off our bill. But I really had to push to get some comparisons out of them.

Hostess were extremely rude. Made no efforts to cater to us and didn't want to do their job. Once we were sat our server took her time even coming to greet us. The service was poor. Our food came out cold and some items were completely trashed. One of the "cheese melts" came out with the cheese not even melted. Horrible service, terrible management, and poor food quality.

Never again will we go to Sickies Garage in Sioux Falls. We were there for almost an hour before we got our food. It was cold when we got it, my mother's fries were old, My fiancés sweet potato fries were undercooked, and her burger was burnt. Asked for the manager and he said he would give us another burger or fries. We declined because we had shopping to do and couldn't wait around for another 45 minutes. Then we got our bill. The waitress asked if we had our ticket discounted. It wasn't. We said it should be. She asked the manager and he said no and claimed we said our meal was "fine". Poor management at best.

One of the best burger places I've been too in a while really love the style of the bar. If you wanna get out of the house from your annoying wife and watch sports here you go this place is perfect you can watch a variety of sports like hockey, basketball, and baseball.

This place has an AMAZING variety. I get a different burger every time and have not been disappointed by any of them. Their fresh made chips are my favorite side but nothing I have had from them has been bad either plus their process aren't outrageous. Service is awesome too. Formerly a Hooters bar, this has been completely turned over into a garage-themed bar and grill. Good food, shakes and beers. Make sure to specify your preferences twice though, as otherwise some things might be forgotten.

I had a great dining experience as Sickies. I usually stick to my go-to, the Monte Cristo, but decided to try the club wrap. It was great! Of course, I had the tater tots because they are amazing! The price is decent, especially with the rewards and coupons they send. There was an issue with an overcharge on my bill, but the server took care of it to my satisfaction.

I do not like to leave 3 star reviews but the food here was so unimpressive that I really can't stand to give a higher star rating. Between the 4 people who ate here during my visit, none of us were impressed with our meals. The burger was extremely greasy and almost inedible. The wings and ribs both had very little meat and ended up being chewy and dry. I get the appeal of this place because the environment is fun and interesting and the garage theme is definitely well-executed. I just don't like the food enough to go back.

Server Taylor was great. Everything else was mediocre. Ordered rusty seasoned chips for my side, but got plain fries. Taylor fixed this very nicely. Then the chips weren't seasoned. They forgot my son's order but brought it out fairly quickly. Just average when I was hoping for more. Meh.

Green tomato and a white hard slice of lettuce on the burger. Someone obviously saw this produce looked bad and let it slide. No quality standards whatsoever. No point coming here when there are so many other burger places in town. The fact that I paid 14.99 for a frozen Patty is ridiculous. The burgers here have been frozen and then thawed. You can get better meat at Wendy's.

Here from Missouri and the menu is very deceiving compared to what we picked up at the bar. Absolutely nasty, cold stale food and I even called to double check if they toasted the buns ( that makes a good burger) and he said “oh yes”.... soggy to the meat, GROSS! Curds were also cold and flat “homemade chips?!?!”

Our waitress had a handwritten name tag sticker on her shirt and it was obvious she was very new. When I asked about a certain beer she told me she had no clue about the beers because she wasn't 21. I heard her tell the next table that as well. She was very polite but could have used more training. The food came out very quickly and was really tasty and the prices were reasonable. The decor was really fun and there was a lot to look at. We would definitely return if in the area again.

Inventive menu, but the execution left room for improvements. For small market locations, I suggest Sickies to skip all the gimmicks. Focus on your favorite 10 burgers and do them well. Skip the Kobe and use good local beef. The Kobe we had tasted like days old and frozen. The dollar up-charged waffle fries were meh. House IPA was pretty solid. Your ideas are great and could even work in big markets, but what you serve right now would never survive.

The crowd was very friendly and the women and men enjoyed my business being a part of Bike Night. I always ordered food and all my meals and deserts were delicious.

I was so excited to try Sickies for the first time. The place was a fun laid back vibe. So much to look at on the walls. We went around 630/7pm on a Sunday so was not real busy. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer which were the best I have ever had. I indulged in an old fashioned root beer, also so good. I ordered the Hacksaw burger with substitution onion tanglers instead of regular onion. The description said shredded lettuce but when it came out it was full leaf lettuce that I just took off. The burger was dry and over done and I had to ask for more 1000 island on the side. The sweet potato fries were amazing! My boyfriend ordered a different burger and his tasted amazing too. Everyone else in our party had no complaints on their food. We also tried one of the captain crunch adult milkshakes. Was told bartender might have put in a little extra alcohol. I couldn't drink much of it but my boyfriend thought it was delicious. Overall good experience. Will definitely give this place another try.

So me and a friend just left this place. He ordered fried pickles and I just a Turkey burger. Our food took over and hour to come out. Remind you I was told many times my food was on the way. I'm a fairly patient person. I thought well as long as it's good and warm I cant complain. Well that didn't happen, it was so cold. I'm sure the temp was down to a dangerous level and I would of contracted food poisoning. So I asked for another. They proceeded to take over 30 minutes and I finnaly had enough and didnt want to eat that late and let them know I didnt even want it anymore. This was my 1st time eating there. I dont believe I was rude or misunderstanding. I tip very well. But the thing is.. the manager didnt even come out to apologize. I'm from Texas and still discovering and exploring the area. Any fellow military or Texans I discourage going here.

was super pumped to get sickies to go! i totally understand busy restaurant life as i used to be a server. however i walked in and didn’t know where to go to pick it up, the hosts just pointed. when i walked back to the general area i was referred to. i stood there and waited for someone to notice me as two employees, one being a manger looked at me and continued their conversation. when they finished their conversation the manger came over and asked my name, and tossed my ticket to me.. when i finally got home to eat our food it was ice cold, and food quality was truly disappointing.. i wanted to love this experience it was just made hard to.

We were seated quickly, but waited 30 minutes before we asked a manager to send a waitress to take our drink order. He said he would. Waited another 10 minutes before asking again. Again, apologies and promises to get someone for us. We waited another 10 minutes before we just walked out. Ridiculous. Dont get me wrong it was good just not great. I know they were busy as heck but is that really an excuse for other people to get there food first it was over an hour before we got our food. I will give it another try just not on bike night. The band they had that night was the best thing of the night.

Our waitress had a handwritten name tag sticker on her shirt and it was obvious she was very new. When I asked about a certain beer she told me she had no clue about the beers because she wasn't 21. I heard her tell the next table that as well. She was very polite but could have used more training. The food came out very quickly and was really tasty and the prices were reasonable. The decor was really fun and there was a lot to look at. We would definitely return if in the area again.

This is a fun burger and beer bar with all kinds of really cool memorabilia. They have a great selection of craft beers and they also have good morning the new hard Seltzer's. We were there on a Thursday night and they have and all you can eat wings deal. Their boneless wings are hand-cut in breaded and some of the best boneless wings I've ever had. The outstanding service we received from the bartender Dominique was top-notch! Our only complaint was the really cool map of the United States made out of license plates did not include Alaska!

I go with my family pretty regularly, especially on Monday's when the kids eat free. I usually leave feeling like I ate too much. It's always been good except for the one time I ordered the Philly burger. I particularly like the Sickie's burger with BBQ pulled pork, an onion ring, and Frank's red hot sauce among other things. I also enjoyed the County Fair burger and the sweet potato fries.

What an interesting spot to enjoy a delicious variety of burgers. Never have I eaten at such a unique choice of burgers. The atmosphere was older muscle trucks and bikes felt at home with the comfortable booths and the kids loved the time we spent their as a family. They have an arcade but we did not take part in it this time. We will be coming every Monday we can afford with a military discount and one kids meal free per full adult meal ordered it is the best day for us to go.

This is a small sample size, I've only eaten here twice, but I don't understand envy this place is so popular. There is a huge burger menu, but does it matter if all of those combos have an over cooked, dry patty in common? We also had 10 traditional wings - surprise, also dry. There are far better options for burgers or wings options in bismarck.

Inventive menu, but the execution left room for improvements. For small market locations, I suggest Sickies to skip all the gimmicks. Focus on your favorite 10 burgers and do them well. Skip the Kobe and use good local beef. The Kobe we had tasted like days old and frozen. The dollar up-charged waffle fries were meh. House IPA was pretty solid. Your ideas are great and could even work in big markets, but what you serve right now would never survive.

Sickies has a lot of seating and a large menu. When we were there we had to wait a little while to get seated. There were quite a few empty tables but they were short on waitstaff. The food has all been very good. My only recommendation would be a smaller burger option because I love burgers but I am not going to order a half pound burger. I have asked to order off of the kids menu. One time they let me. The next two times they didn't. I do like the chicken strips as well.

Service is not great. My server entered my burger in wrong and instead of fixing it she brought my food to the table. She then asked if I wanted it fixed or if I just wanted to eat it. The correct answer is you should have just fixed it. It's takes 5 minutes to make a burger. The only thing worse than the service is the food.

This would have been a 5 star review had the hostesses been better at their job. We arrived at 8 after a long road trip. We had chosen Sickies and were looking forward to burgers. As soon as we walked in, the hostesses told us, “there’s an hour to hour and a half wait. We can seat you but you’ll have to wait that long for your food”. Mayyyybe 1/4 of the restaurant was full. We decided to go to the bar. My friend went back to ask for a menu. The hostesses were deep in a personal conversation, gestured to the menus, and told her that she could get one herself. Our food DEFINITELY did not take an hour. Our food took 20 minutes tops. The food was good. It’s too bad that the hostesses can’t do their job and be hospitable.

This is a great place. I've been here 6 times & all but one of the times had an awesome waiter or waitress (the one time I didn't, she was still OK--just not remarkably good as the all the other times). The food is amazing: There are so many great burgers to try & the Oreo shake is delicious. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because a lot of the time the service is a bit slow--sometimes because the restaurant is crowded, but other times it is just slow for no apparent reason. In my opinion it is worth the wait, but don't go if you're in a big hurry.

The burger menu is astonishing! There are so many options to choose from - burgers, salads, sandwiches, and sides. I love that you get to choose your side and not just stuck with the usual fries. If there was an option for no stars this post would have it. I've been to sickies 6 times and they have progressively gotten worse. Tonight my family and I were heading to sickies and upon our arrival we waiting 45 minutes which is fine. We wanted to eat there so we waited. Once seated it took 15 minutes just for a waitress to come over and once they arrived immediately asked for our order, not taking our drink order. Once we finally ordered our wings (2 of us got traditional and 2 boneless) on the endless wings and fries. We got our food and the sides were completely wrong and the wing flavors were totally off from how they normally taste. Food was really cold and fries tasted old along with the sauces for the wings. When we tried reordering we were told we could not reorder fries. Not only were our orders wrong, we were told it would be inconvenient to go get blue cheese from the back and there were several long hairs stuck in the breading of the boneless wings. I highly doubt any of my family will ever be back to eat here. Very unfortunate. Sickies needs to keep servers and cooks and make sure they are trained before sending them out on their own.

Would be a five star because I do like their food but they started charging extra if you want wings saucy. When ordering a sauce for wings they should be saucy and not dry like they come out 95 percent of the time. So to ensure they come out as they should I’ve always ordered them extra saucy and have never been charged for it until now. I mean if I wanted dry wings I’d order a dry rub!

Sickies Garage is a gourmet burger restaurant with a sports bar/garage theme. The hamburger is good and they have a wide variety of options. Most of the toppings are really good. My wife had the Monte Cristo which is a ham and cheese sandwich that is deep fried and has a raspberry dipping sauce. My boys and I shared the giant eating challenge meal ($35) it had a wide variety of their offerings and most of it was really good.

The wood chipper with the kobe patty were ok. Not bad but not great. Tasted more like a frozen patty. Baked beans tasted and looked like really good canned beans with a few chopped onions added to them and seemed to be heated up in a pot on the stove and not baked. It's family friendly, even until closing. Expect a wait when you have larger groups as the set-up is more for couples and family settings. They will accommodate large groups. It's quite busy during certain peaks, so be mindful when reviewing your visit; don't expect to be waited on hand and foot when you visit during extremely busy times (if that's what you review on).

Resturant is dirty, service was slow at best. We only had a couple minutes ( time from the table to the kitchen and back) with our appitizer which consisted of dried out nacho cheese and overcooked tater tots, before our meal came to the table. The fries were room temperature when they came to the table and cold by the time we could eat them after we finished our appitizer. The burgers were cooked to death and black on the outside. Will never return again. Nor would I recommend others coming here.

The Hangover burger and waffle fries was the best I’ve ever had, not kidding! My middle name is bacon cheeseburger and my favorite food is a glazed donut, put them together and I was in heaven upon my first bite! We had 8 people in our group and every one of us enjoyed a different burger to the delight of our palates! We visited Sickies at 12:15 on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Our server Nate was awesome! He knew the beer and burger menu well enough to impeccably describe and recommend precisely what we needed. Being raised in a restaurant, my standards are high and my hubs has been brewing beer for 20 years. We delightfully devoured our burgers and beers and that’s an understatement! I ate so much and just about had to be rolled out of there lol! If you’re anywhere near SD we highly recommend stopping here!!! You won’t be disappointed.

The NYC Standard Review: Our reviews are based on what an establishment claims to be. Going here expecting food with high quality ingredients such as a steakhouse would be wrong for instance. That would be like rating McDonalds with Outback. It's just not comparable. What you can expect is, execution. Service was impressive yet scary. A party of 20 something had 1 waitress. Somehow the server was able to handle that accurately with the help of a few food runners when it came time for entrees. Seriously, impressive however it could have been disastrous. Shame on them for that. Food for what it is came out timely and mostly on point. We really wanted to give this place a 4 star review but as they teetered on that they lost it with, you guessed it, burgers. You can't claim you are a burger joint and screw up the burgers. Overcooked, and salt shouldn't be the only seasoning in a chef's pantry. Relying on the extra fancy toppings will get you nowhere fast. Place's atmosphere was enjoyable and the beers were tasty and fresh. If you are going for anything other than a burger and some brews with the gang Sickies delivers as advertised. Hopefully they work on those burgers! Cheers people!

We go here whenever we visit the Black Hills, very good food and service. Very popular place expect a wait if your visiting during peak heating times, waits we have had are never very long at all though. They are pretty fast with the food. Nice place.

Just the building itself was a show-stopper. As car people my husband and I were just drawn to this laid-back atmosphere. You walk in theres a variety of memorabilia, art, and even a truck hanging from the ceiling! We were seated at a reasonable amount of time even with it being PACKED to the brim with people! As a football fan I enjoyed the placements of the tvs and being able to hear the TV without captions. They have a very large menu, so it's a lot to take in. I recommend taking your time, reading everything because everything sounds superb. The beer menu was a delite also! They had a great select of local, domestics, ciders, etc. The waiter we had was outstanding. He didn't make us feel rushed and was pleasant with me even though I took FOREVER to figure out what I want. Like I said everything looked so good! He was friendly and came by to check on us frequently. If you haven't been to Sickies Garage in Rapid City, SD you need to go there. We will be back!

Have eaten here multiple times with decent food and service. Tonight though, not so much. First they revamped their menu and removed my wife's favorite Buffalo chicken salad so it will be difficult to get her to go back. Second, the server literally just dropped our food plates on the table, said here ya go and walked off. Never asked if we needed anything else etc. Just dropped and bolted. Our waiter never once came to check on our food until we were literally done eating. Sat through half my meal with an empty drink glass and the waiter never even came close enough to get his attention to ask for a refill. My wife had a 6 piece boneless wings. And that's all it was, 6 wings and a cup of sauce on a napkin. Would it break the bank to add some Celery or carrots? Guess so... Would take some convincing to get me to come back or recommend to visitors. Three stars is generous.

My only "complaint" about Sickies Garage is that they have SO many good burgers and sandwiches. Their portion sizes a good; not overwhelming, but definitely not skimpy. Their prices are competitively reasonable. The service is prompt and attentive. I recommend Sickies for good, reasonably-priced burgers.

Service was good, fun atmosphere, decently proceed and good for groups, families, or alone. I was given a dirty glass which grossed me out. We ordered burgers and fish and chips. Burgers were ok. The menu has just about anything you can think of to out on burger but I personally don't like well done meat and wasn't given an option on how to prepare the burger so I found it a little dry. I would probably go back just order something different.

Just okay. I'm really surprised by so many positive reviews. The beef is not great quality, and the burgers are not exceptionally made (little toppings and smashed together). They lacked flavor, and the fries were disappointing. I would give the fried pickles 5 stars... Those were good. I asked for a chocolate malt, and saw them making the shake using only Hershey's syrup, no malt... So disappointing, I really expected more.

If there was an option for no stars this post would have it. I've been to sickies 6 times and they have progressively gotten worse. Tonight my family and I were heading to sickies and upon our arrival we waiting 45 minutes which is fine. We wanted to eat there so we waited. Once seated it took 15 minutes just for a waitress to come over and once they arrived immediately asked for our order, not taking our drink order. Once we finally ordered our wings (2 of us got traditional and 2 boneless) on the endless wings and fries. We got our food and the sides were completely wrong and the wing flavors were totally off from how they normally taste. Food was really cold and fries tasted old along with the sauces for the wings. When we tried reordering we were told we could not reorder fries. Not only were our orders wrong, we were told it would be inconvenient to go get blue cheese from the back and there were several long hairs stuck in the breading of the boneless wings. I highly doubt any of my family will ever be back to eat here. Very unfortunate. Sickies needs to keep servers and cooks and make sure they are trained before sending them out on their own.

The young man who served us was very friendly and accommodating. But... Ordered two drinks and one was wrong. It got fix and we got the wrong one free. Ordered fried pickles at the same time as the drinks, they were forgotten . Ordered hot beef sandwich, bread was burned. Beef was very salty. Potatoes were ok except for the last bite was a bit crunchy. The gravy was basically brown jelly and was not edible. The person preparing this food should have been ashamed. I could tell the waiter was ashamed to have had to serve it. The pickles finally came out, which was the reason we went, they were incredibly greasy and we weren't able to finish it. Those also ended up being free. First and last time.

Would be a five star because I do like their food but they started charging extra if you want wings saucy. When ordering a sauce for wings they should be saucy and not dry like they come out 95 percent of the time. So to ensure they come out as they should I’ve always ordered them extra saucy and have never been charged for it until now. I mean if I wanted dry wings I’d order a dry rub!

I've tried two separate burgers from there, and a Shirley Temple, a malt shake, their onion rings are fantastic they're pulled pork is delicious I'm not 100% on the burgers themselves. For this visit as always the staff was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The burgers were great and prepared as we requested. Customer or Servers? Who is more important? My husband and I decided to eat at our local Sickies on Sunday evening. We got there about 5:20pm. The place wasn't full by any means. Ashton was the hostess. Even though there were many tables and a few booths in nice locations, she proceeded to seat us in the very back corner where all the servers hang around and talk, and get sodas ready, and set down their dirty dishes. We weren't too happy and asked for something else. Ashton then sat us in the exact same place just on the other side of the room. I don't want to look at pop machines, dirty dishes or listen to them gossip while I eat a $13.00 sandwich and cold potatoes. The two stars are for the wide variety on the menu and the generous portions. Seating customers so all servers get their tips isn't the customers problem. Work that out before a customer enters the place.

I ordered a “Munster” burger but when I asked for it to be cooked rare... she said sorry, all our burgers are cooked on a press and they all are done Med-Well. Our waiter was kind but unfortunately 2 out of the 3 orders we placed were messed up. I ordered my sons cheeseburger lettuce and tomato only got a burger with ketchup, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. My fiancé ordered a burger that was supposed to have two patties and it only came with one. Couldn’t get anyone’s attention to have our orders fixed at all. Fries weren’t hot at all and almost all our chips were burnt. We won’t be back.

When we brought it up with our server, Emily S., she insisted that we had said boneless even though we hadn't and had even pointed at the traditional wings on the menu to indicate our choice. It took a couple minutes for us to get seated, but once we were it was a glorious ride. Fantastic food, friendly and attentive waitstaff, and great prices on (special/featured) taps. There's over 30 burgers here to choose from. I recommend The Honky Tonk (pulled BBQ pork, Swiss, and bacon strips on top of 1/3 pound burger). Their premium sides include cheese curds and boneless wings! On top of that they have a loyalty club. This will definitely be a usual stop for us whenever we are in the area! Highly recommended!

Went there on a Saturday, 1- It took 33 minutes to get the order. 2- the burger labeled as “Kobe” wasn’t even close to Kobe, and it was of poor quality. 3- The bun tasted poor. 4- I had cheese curds as a side, and these were of poor quality as well. 5- The server was very rushed, as she was very clearly overwhelmed. I had to give a tip less than 15% for the first time in years.

This place is a must when visiting Bismarck. From loaded nachos/tots to a huge variety of burgers wraps, you name it. The menu is quite extensive, but I'm pretty sure just blindly pointing at the menu will end with an amazing meal. I had the State Fair burger which had cheese curds, fried jalapenos, sickies sauce, and some other magical ingredients. IF I ever find myself in Bismarck again, I will definitely make sure to re-visit

This place has delicious food, large portions and is a great value. The staff is sometimes hit or miss. I’ve had great and attentive servers but I’ve also had servers that don’t seem to care at all. The hostessss are consistently rude or distant/unwelcoming. Other than that, I do love the food which is the main point of a restraint. They have a wide variety or beers on tap and I’ve never been disappointed in my food. They have awesome weekly specials that are worth checking out as well!

Eh, it was alright. Elizabeth our waitress was great however our burgers were over cooked. Decor was great, music was great, food was eh which is kinda the whole point. Was glad I tried but probably wouldn't go again. :(

We were told a 20-25 minute wait and at first there were no tables, then the manager came and told the hostess the kitchen was buried so not to seat anyone. We waited and it was an HOUR AND 10 MINUTES before we were seated. I said the manager should give us a free appetizer or something for all the issues but the manager wouldn't give anything. A group was seated after us as they also asked for some kind of discount and after the server said there would be no discount for all the troubles on their end, the people left. During the hour wait we saw probably around 30 people or more walk out during this. My cousin is a veteran so at least we did end up getting that discount but the fact that this manager cares so little about customer service or making people have a good time and more about that $4 difference a 10% discount would have likely been. If it was something where we had been told an hour and it was an hour, that's on us. They told us a time and due to an error on the kitchen's/business' end, we wasted so much time.

We had a great time at Sickies. Our service was amazing with multiple staff making sure our food and drinks were getting to us right away and our waitress was always by shortly after if brought by someone else to make sure everything was what we were looking for. The food itself from our PB&J sauced wings to our very unique burgers were all well prepared and tasted amazing. If you are looking for a burger place with unique yet awesome tasting food and high quality service I would strongly recommend you give Sickies a try.

I must say that I'm very disappointed in my first experience at the Sickies in Sioux Falls. I've never had a problem when I go in Rapid City. We went to sickies Wednesday 6/19 & I arrived first. Though many workers walked by me, I didnt get sat for about 15 minutes. Upon getting sat, it took 10 minutes for someone to say hello which is when they had me sign up for the loyalty rewards card. It was another 20 minutes before someone asked what I wanted to drink. When my company arrived, we ordered our food & it took over an hour to get served. This restaurant was not even busy when I went in. To top it all off... I had to ASK for a refill on my drink. It was over 2 hours of being ignored by the time it was said & done.... When we asked for a manager we were told one was not available. When we called, nobody called back. Biggest waste of money. Guess I'll wait for my trips back home to Rapid City to eat Sickies in the future.

Came in at 1 PM today, was told there was a 30 minute wait (a bit rudely, no hello or anything, the receptionist simply says “what?”) we were happy to wait. We go up cause we had waited a bit long. We then get told that she forgot to take our name down and she puts us on the bottom of the wait list while she’s laughing about it. Wish I caught her name all I know was she wore glasses and a bigger woman. Wish I could put 1 Star we ended up leaving I was not gonna wait another 30-45 minutes for some rude chick taking her issues out on others. Wish there was a option for 0 stars.

Terrible service, we sat at the bar, and the bartender was more worried about shutting the bar down than serving us, even though there was 2 hours until close..... he also was picking up rubber mats off the floor then serving people without washing his hands... absolutely disgusting. Food was cold, appetizers showed up same time as meal... this is second time trying this place and both times were terrible, first experience the burgers were burnt to a crisp... save your money and go to McDonald’s

If you like Sonic, this is your place. Average bar style fried food. My group and I did not order a burger, just appetizers on the happy hour discount. There was no unique flare or taste to the food and everything seemed frozen packaged then cooked.

Second visit, hoping it was better than the 1st. Out of 3 burgers, 2 had hair in them. Was told a manager would talk to us, nothing. Bill came, they tried to charge us twice! Server said it was due to inventory and the manager would be over. No one came over to speak with us. Had to ask for my child's side of chili twice, all around, it was a nightmare.

I've never had a hamburger place charge me extra for mayonnaise, onions or pickles. However ketchup and mustard are free on the table. We also didn't have an option of how we wanted our hamburgers cooked. You better like well done.

Great burger and a fine beer selection. The fries were too salty for me so I did not eat them. The wagyu beef burger was outstanding! Also, the other ingredients were perfect! Will go back for a second look and will just try a different side item!

Great atmosphere... although lunch rush Is not the ideal time for me personally....but OMG i have NEVER seen so many Burger choices in my life!!! The plates are comparable to the price and TONS OF BEER ON TAP...AND I LOVE THEIR ADULT "BREAKFAST" SHAKES!!! The family will be going back and we'll bring the ones from Denver too!!!

I had a great experience at the Rapid City location, and so when I was in town for a business trip, I made sure to stop by. Overall, great vibe and the bartender (who was also my server) constantly checked in on me to make sure everything was going well. My burger (the Woodchipper) was good, but it felt like something was missing--a strip or two of some thick cut bacon would make it the perfect burger (even if it costs extra). Looking forward to coming back next time with my family!

We visit this restaurant usually a couple times a month and have always had excellent service along with the great burgers. For this visit as always the staff was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The burgers were great and prepared as we requested. The chips with the rusty bucket seasoning are one of our favorite sides. Great job as always!

Food was okay but service was not good. At least 6 servers stood at the end of the bar talking while tables stood dirty. The biggest issue was that we had a $30 gift card and it was not used. I did not notice until I returned home that the full amount had been charged to my debit card. Called to speak with the manager. After he spoke with the server he came back to the phone to say I never gave the server the gift card. He would not listen and told me there was nothing he could do. Will not be back and will repeat this story to anyone who asks.

Normally service is great here. Tonite I went in, sat at the bar to order take-out. I was pretty much ignored until I literally raised my hand for a menu. I had to flag down the bar waitress to order a water then sat there waiting for another 10-15mins while trying to get her attention to order. Finally I asked a different waiter who walked by, if he could take my order. His service was prompt but I ordered boneless wings, and I received traditional. They were soggy and rubbery. Kind of killed chicken wings for me.

Place is a dumb service is flat out terrible. 37 minutes to get food and it was a hamburger claimed they were “busy”. I have been to restaurants all across the USA a lot bigger then that place and got better food in a timely manner.

Kayla was such an amazing host! She was interacting with my boys and made the overall dining experience AMAZING!! In my personal opinion, she (among the 2 bartenders) excelled at her position, not only taking care of my table but the bar rail and the other drinks that came to her from other servers! She is what you need to slingshot your business into the future! More service like she provided would certainly increase the likelihood of a return visit! GIVE YOUR GIRL A RAISE!!!!

Our appetizer had a large piece of plastic cooked into it and my meal had to be sent back TWICE. It came to the table the 3rd time still lacking toppings (which is when I just left). The kitchen and management is atrocious and should be rectified. At least the server was friendly.

Pretty good kids meal cheeseburger. The cole slaw could use a little more dressing. The fish & chips are okay. The fries have a waxy gummy mouth feel. Great service from the bartenders.
