Great drink specials during happy hour. Drinks are $4 - $6 during happy hour. Appetizers are $4 - $6. Great service. The location is downtown so parking could be a problem during lunch, but not a problem after 5.

Shari Gehring

Service was excellent and they have the best onion rings!

michael gross

Bloody marys like the ones hipsters like to take pictures of. I mean, I'm happy with tomato juice, Tobasco, olives, and Vodka! They put pickled egg on it! I was awesome!

logan greeley

Dissapointed that they traded all their good beers for overpriced Edwinton beer. Won't be drinking here anymore.

Lenore Bradford

A few friends and I went and thought the setup was a little odd but we decided to give it a try. Self serve water is first thing I thought was super weird but okay that’s fine. We had some drinks and the Long Island tea was just meh. I realize it’s a beer joint but they advertise a full bar.... false!! Bloody Mary on the menu but not actually available. Only Captain Morgan for a rum choice & Coors light and Miller Lite the only domestic beer choices. Food options are interesting. I had one of the salads —but asked for them to put the fries on the side....Fries! On a salad

Seth Kreil

Too chill of a place.

Jim C.

Love this place!

Doug LUKENBACH

The truffle fries, service all food fantastic, atmosphere awesome , brewery selection great, pricing average. Has become our favorite place in Bismarck

Long post incoming: This business took a long time to open, but one of the first things anyone knew about it was that they weren't going to be a brewery; they're buying wort from a company called Smartbrew and fermenting onsite. That in and of itself isn't necessarily unheard of, but they aren't acknowledging that it isn't brewing. Calling the guy from New Zealand who started Smartbrew your brewmaster is misleading. They also decided to straight-up ban people (myself and several friends included) from their Facebook page for having the audacity to question or criticize their choice, rather than bothering to just call themselves Edwinton BEER Company. Easy fix. Fargo Brewing did it when they weren't able to brew in ND until the law changed. On their beer menu, there's absolutely zero description of the beers. Sorry, when you're making your own beer that no one is familiar with, you might want to mention what makes the two different IPAs different. Cascade hops? Double dry hop? Who knows! Probably not anyone in the business since they don't brew it themselves. Oh, they're also charging $7 for a beer they aren't actually brewing. Other breweries that actually are putting their figurative blood, sweat, and tears into brewing don't charge that much. On to the experience of actually going there: Beer choices were the double IPA (Go figure, no idea what was actually in it), honey brown, Scotch ale, and blueberry wheat. All were average. Also sampled the stout, which was lighter in color than the honey brown and translucent. Yikes. We ordered three appetizers: brisket candy, cheese curds, and shrimp salsa. The cheese curds were good, the shrimp salsa was fine but nothing to write home about, and the brisket candy was beyond dry. I don't understand why you would talk about and go through the effort of lovingly smoking meat for hours upon hours just to cut it into cubes and fry the bejeezus out of it, drying it out. It was tough, unseasoned, and flavorless. Entrees were the loaded beef hotdog, venison brat, jerk sandwich, and the Woodrow flatbread, with sides of truffle fries and mac and cheese. All of the food was cooked well. No complaints there. However, the food itself left much to be desired: the hotdog and brat were like chewing sawdust. The jerk chicken (as mentioned in another review) was devoid of anything even resembling jerk flavor, and got the pita it was resting on soggier than my socks after walking through a flash flood. The flatbread was sweet, sweet, and more sweet. The fries were standard, and the mac and cheese was good, though quite heavy. Perfect analogy for the well-cooked but bland food is the old adage about polishing a turd....and we all know how that goes. Side notes on dining experience: If you're being a "German" restaurant, maybe offer more than just Heinz mustard? In your hot, fly infested dining room, maybe chill the water you have stashed away in a keg in the server area that no one can see? Because it was warm and unpleasant, not cold and refreshing. Service was fine. Our server, Ben G, seemed a little leery at first (I theorized that maybe he's been inundated with pointed questions about their "brewing" and is a little on edge about the prospect?) but warmed up over the course of the evening. Another aside: Notice the comments on this and other review sites mentioning the owner? Seems to be buddy-buddy or distaste? Draw your own conclusions. Also, notice some of the other reviews here on Google that are just 5 stars with no comments? Seems a little fishy. TL;DR: Don't bother.

Being under the same ownership as Peacock Alley and 40 Steak & Seafood, hopefully people will consider supporting actual breweries like Bismarck Brewing, Laughing Sun, Buffalo Commons or Bird Dog that are locally owned and don’t operate under Dale’s usual terrible business practices. First off, this IS NOT a brewery. They simply “finish off” the brewing process of beer that they buy. Skip this place in favor of Laughing Sun, where they brew everything themselves. Second, after he took ownership of the historic Depot building, Dale ripped out the original, restored windows despite this building being on the national registry of historical buildings and despite the city trying to deny his permit. Skip this place in favor of any other restaurant in town that doesn’t deface historic buildings. Support local breweries that don’t cut corners, treat their customers horribly (publicly shame negative reviewers, ban people from their establishments for no reason, and block people on social media), and operate under the worst restaurant owner in Bismarck.

Deborah Binstock

Love their 2 for $15 special, what a bargain! Hamburgers were big and delicious, frys weren't too salty. Our waitress was terrific! Will definitely be going back.

Tom Kambeitz

Eggs Patterson had a fully cooked poached egg and it should be runny. Also not enough hollandaise sauce which would have helped the non runny egg problem. The biscuit was too hard to cut and the meat was chewy and full of cartilage. I give the meal a 1 out of 5.

curtis edwards

Food was great and the beer was great. Lovely place that will be worth your time.

Isabel DeWitt

Flies everywhere, no sign that says you have to seat yourself, you get your own warm water and wait in line with the servers to get some ice, a bit gloomy to sit inside. I like the truffle fries, got the Depot dog not very good.

L.J Harms

My family and I really enjoyed this place. I would fly back to Bismark to eat here! Great service, amazing food. Nothing was to greasy or to dry. Everything was wondeful.

laura miller

Recently stop in for dinner, this was our first time in. Great place to eat. Nice atmosphere, good drinks, and excellent food. Our waiter was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Russell Wagner

Really good food the best Ceasar in Bismarck a meal in itself.

Nathan Zetty

Terrible service, food was poorly cooked and flavorless, said it was terrible and no offer to compensate in any way just said sorry. Biggest waste of money I've ever spent

Dylan Lewellyn

Wait staff was great, food was excellent. Pricey for the region, but worth it for a business lunch or date night.

Nick _

$7.67 for a bad beer... And the place smells like a bathroom. Hope it's not in business the next time I'm in town.

Johannes kohn

Cool old restaurant that is a piece of history in Bismarck. Great service and the steaks are fantastic!

Logan Hauff

Peacock is downtown cornerstone and still one of my favorite places to grab a drink & app during happy hour. The Thai lettuce wraps are a favorite and the sweet potato waffle fries & dip are the must have every time we go. Great food, reasonable pricing and a historic location. Highly recommend.

Anne Cleary

Absolutely love their happy hour!!

Pete Gress

Beers were overpriced and mediocre. Settled on the Kolsch but wasn't impressed. Warm water that you have to serve your self not really impressed. My Edwin sandwich was delicious but my Daughters flatbread was way over sauced. All you could taste was the ale sauce. Really dissapointed in being served beer in a 40's steakhouse glass and staff wearing peacock alley shirts. Atmosphere was almost like being in a fast food restaurant. Will probably give it one more try though.

James Parrot

Venison bratwurst is amazing! Friendly staff and efficient service.

Tabetha LaBere

Hanger steak.

Gary J

Great food and service

Dave Rheault

Nice Atmosphere

John Haydock

Steaks were ok but by no means great. Lousy server got just about every order wrong. Then he said he would take care of it and didn't. Drinks were even wrong!!! Would never go back.

Ruth Joyner

Great service, wonderful food and drink!

Gustavo San Jose

This is a good restaurant and probably the best in downtown Bismarck if you want to have a legit meal. The price is decent and the food is generally good. There are a couple of items on the menu that aren't that great but for the most part is good. I'm only giving it four stars because the bathroom (men's) always feels dirty. Smells like pee and for a restaurant like this one this shouldn't be the case.

Zach F

Burger bun was soggy, steak was decent but price is for better than decent, service was average. Overall a average place that needs much improvement on quality control of food, Not sure if that’s something other people prefer though so I’ll give 2 stars.

Cody Sharff

Great service!

Jonathan Werner

Peacock has unique and fantastic drinks with a wide variety of beer and is famous for their BAM beers. On top of that there is great happy hour specials on appetizers which are all tasty. Menu is a little more expensive than average but not outrageous with multiple different meat options. I have had some rude interactions with staff but those have been few.

Sandy Johs

Best service, great burgers and sandwiches and the pretzel bites are the bomb!

Lisa White

Service was fast and very good. The food was not. I ate here quite a few years ago and remember now why I have not been back. I found one small piece of bacon in the wrap. Wrap was dried out. Dressing was watery and dripping all over. Knoephla was ok however flavor was off and potatoes undercooked. I would have given less stars if not for good fast service.

Automotriz Bgs

Tasty food excellent service

Terry Johnson

Service was extremely slow. Beer was really good! Food was sub par!

Amelia Bickler

Really friendly service, but I'm not a huge fan of their drinks. The food is pretty good, though.

Sherry Fetch

Excellent service. Wonderful atmosphere.

Dave Swain

Enjoyed Happy hour before the David Crosby concert just a block away. Knepla soup and salmon salad was a great way to start the show.Old style bar in a classic building on Main street. Nice 4 dollar glass of wine.

Dave Ewers

What a disappointment. Hungry traveller looking for a simple steak and potato meal and they butchered it. Steak was tough and no where near medium well. Baked potato was a dried up something that looked like it came from an Egyptian tomb. Sauteed onions and mushrooms were an overcooked mess. Don't bother with this place. Staff was friendly and great. Owner needs to pull his socks up.

Tim McCord

This is the best steak in n. Dakota by far . The service was awesome and while working in n. Dakota and being from the mid west you want to experience a great steak when traveling thru here but unfortunately it’s hard to find a good steak even tho there are beef cows everywhere. This place will excite your taste buds and beyond . I will recommend this place to everyone who knows great steaks . Done to perfection and tasty. The meal was more than you need and when you walk away your bill is the last thing you worry about because you are satisfied. That is a great way to spend an evening

Anupa D.

This place has been around for several years and moved from one location to the current one. Occupies the ground/street level of a multi-story building with apartments for the disabled on the upper floors. The main entrance opens into the bar area (tables and around the bar) with a corridor between the bar room and the sit-down restaurant. There is also an outdoor patio area. Extensive menu, lots of microbrew and we got an amazing waiter, Rudy, who made sure we got good vegetarian food. Everything he recommended was amazing. This was definitely a great choice for us!

Cassondra Lynn Krause

Amazing service, food, and drinks always

Good food and atmosphere, but a little pricy

Eddie Underwood

I have to say I never write bad reviews. I usually find pros to go with the cons. But to be honest the only thing great about this place is the huge pretzel. Our server was a woman who looked like she had been using drugs right before her shift. I did not grab her name as she was only at our table twice, but during those two times she was so rude. I tried to ask questions about some of the menu items and she made snarky comments that made my wife very uncomfortable and pissed. She was walking around with a phone attached to her shoulder, so maybe this help identify who she is. She did not ID a single person at our table but me. I assume because I asked a simple question related to watermelon drink. We spent $70 total for our check which is fine but when you have someone so rude and aggravated that we were their customer, it was a waste of money. There was also another table that also spoke with us asking what her problem was. Upon leaving I took my plastic bucket that came with my drink, which was empty and she ran out and yanked it out of my hand. I told her I paid for that and she said "You can't take this out". There was not a drip of alcohol in the bucket, so why? By far the worst service I have ever had in Bismarck. Hopefully management will replace her with someone who enjoys their job and if she is a manager, then owners should find new management. The only reason I am giving two stars is because I love pretzels and this is now the only place that has a huge pretzel in Bismarck. But won't make me go back.

Robert Sell

The aptly named meat sweats was amazing. The soup was great too.

Robin Jundt

Group of 4 adults. Server was snarky. I was Not interested in drinking beer. So u need to go to a "self serve water station" give me a break.. really. Because I don't drink I'm treaded differently! Food was ok... We never go back. Have the customers at Peacock and Chop 40 get their own water....see how long your open...

M. Jacques Barbe

Meh. The drinks aren't the only thing that is pale and watered-down here. Ha!

Elliot Shannon

Really nice quality steak, grilled to perfection with mushrooms. I gave this 5 stars solely based on the Gorgonzola sauce....it’s that good. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Ps- the hoagies looked like they could do some Serious damage.

Ben Sorrell

My family ate here and all were very satisfied with the food. I had the burger and it was great.

Daniel MacArthur

The owner's business practices continue to show his true colors. When asked at all about their "craft" beer or process, which most craft breweries would be proud to tell you all about, they block you from social media. Zimmerman is openly rude to people who post honest reviews and they have defaced a historical building of Bismarck. Try one of the many other AMAZING actual breweries in bismarck, laughing sun, Buffalo commons, dialectic brewing just to name a few. They do NOT make their own beer, they ship in unfermented beer and finish the process on site. It is more of a beer "mix" and using this process means they obviously do not create their own beer. Also this process causes the beer to lose much of its flavor.

Chip Hinton

BEST steaks in Bismarck! Bartender is expert in mixing a variety of esoteric cocktails ... test him. Service was amazing!

Al Cohall

Beer was ok for a short cut beer. Food was all greasy, and not very good. Owner walked around like a hawk and the servers kept looking at us. To go to the bathroom you have to go through the kitchen and it smelled like sewer. Don’t waste your money and go to a real brewery.

Maren Sigman

Brunch is a great time to visit alfresco or inside friendly service great food! Had the steak salad fit great with my keto ( no dressing) asked for a lemon wedge for salad she brought 2 was great!!

Michael Braun

Great place great atmosphere great food and drinks. Restrooms for both genders. Ample free parking if you arrive early being there is no parking lot. Only street parking. Otherwise a great place.

Dave Ewers

Jesse Jahner

Poor service. Wife asked for a class of water. Told her we serve beer here that is are water. Told us to walk around corner to get a glass of warm water.

3077630501 Welch

Good food and friendly atmosphere. Prices are a bit high.

Craig Price

Food was good and the staff was friendly. I’m not a beer guy so I don’t have much interest in the process and what not. It’s a small place so if your going with a bigger group watch out.

Jenni Bednarz

Great beer and good food in a trendy vintage train depot. I got a flight to try five of their beers. Standouts include the blueberry wheat that has a very strong blueberry flavor, the clear orange flavor of the whistle whit, and the crowd-pleasing beez kneez honey brown ale. Beyond the beer, this brewery has a fantastic food menu (I tried the delicious truffle fries) and a good happy hour offering. I spent a few hours of my afternoon getting some work done here, and found it to be a good spot for that.

Alison Marie

Really good steaks. My Hanger steak which they highly recommend only cooking to medium rare, which I ordered, was a bit overcooked. It was still extremely good, just a bit overdone. Baked potatoes are easily 6 inches long, probably bigger. Really good food.

Ridgeley Kraft

Really good food and service. Unique and historical space

Jason Pilipanko

Relaxed environment.

Food is good, but the beer is not very good. The beer is also expensive and they don't offer flights. It seems too much attention is going to the decor and not enough to the beer. Staff didnt seem too into the beer either.

brent22z

Good food and service, prices of drinks are relatively high, but overall experience was good. It seems that a group of people are out to troll the owner and those lengthy bad reviews are not reflective of the quality of the service, food and friendly staff.

Jason Christensen

I went and the host and everyone acted like we didn't exist at the host table. When we finally got a table we waited 10 minutes before the waitress finally showed up. When we tried to order our first thing from the menu they said they didn't have it. We left. Not the experience we were hoping for and we won't be back. I would just go somewhere else. It wasn't busy. There was no excuse.

Sherry Helbling

Great food. Reasonably pricrd. Servers could have been a bit more attentive.

Alexander Gudmestad

I enjoyed the food, the service was kinda slow but they were very friendly so that kinda made up for it. The building is very nice and clean also.

otter bear

Forgot how to make coleslaw still charged my 25 dollars for a salad.

Todd Braun

Really enjoyed the food and selection as well as the taste of all of our food. Came for the Asian Nachos, which they unfortunately were out of, but enjoyed multiples other plates with our family.

Kyle Loftin

I had the coffee IPA and shared a salad and they both were great.

Cari Lyn

Huge menu. Eclectic atmosphere. Family friendly. Something for everyone.

John Ellenson

This is one of a kind experiece. You will be very happy trying Peacock Alley. The weekend breakfast specials are the best around. I highly suggest a stop here!

Markie Mitchell

I was shocked they didn’t have their sister company beer on their happy hour menu. Food was pretty good. Happy hour menu could have been better.

Nikhil Kalothia

Used to be great, but has taken a hit recently. The food menu is much smaller, especially on the appetizer side. It seems they removed several of their more exciting options. The drink menu seems to have been trimmed too and they didn't seem to have several of the drinks that our table requested last time. Breakfast menu used to taste delicious.

Anthony Fetter

Great service but the sweet potato poutine was not good. The cheese curds were cold and not melted. It is advertised as bacon gravy but is served full of ground beef. Gross.

Nik Chapman

We are a Wisconsin family that happened to drive through on our road trip to Montana on opening day. 3 out of 4 selected beers were acceptable, even by Wisconsin standards. The blueberry wheat was the table favorite. Food was very good and reasonably priced. We ordered burgers, brats and salad, and brats were very tasty. Atmosphere was very unique and super neat inside! Staff was friendly and our service was decent.

Marlo Anderson

Great place to meet for a business lunch.

Maggie Kohls

Tiny and noisy. I don't think it's completely open yet. Salad was tasty and huge. No gluten free beer

Markie Mitchell

I was shocked they didn’t have their sister company beer on their happy hour menu. Food was pretty good. Happy hour menu could have been better.

Bridget DeFord

Food is passable, but not outstanding. Way over priced. Service is severely lacking. Cocktails are good, ambiance is nice.

MaryBD

Locally owned restaurant located in downtown Bismarck. Friendly staff providing great service with equally great food.

Stephen Wirtz

They lied to the public about how they brewed. They bullied the City of Bismarck into letting them deface a historic landmark. And they don't even have the decency to serve good beer.

Connor Than

Had the hanger steak and it was delicious! It’s also the 2nd oldest building in Bismarck. Eat here to be apart of history!

Breanna Garay

Great food, great service!

Angela Kitzan

Amazing steak!

Therese Hoffman

The server was great! Our appetizer took a little longer to get than I expected (not terrible) out flat iron steaks were just OK. (Probably because our grilled steaks are seasoned to our liking) My stuffed baked potato was AWESOME!

Deidre Hughes

Good service and tasty drinks, little over priced, all around positive experience.

Ray Ann Christmann-Wolf

What a wonderful place to get together with friends. Amazing food too!

Barbara Wheeler

One can choose from the breakfast menu or go straight into lunch and dinner. I had the Bloody Marry and Breakfast Nacho. The Bloody Mary alone was almost a breakfast. Garnished with a hardboiled egg, beef stick, celery, cheese, olives and a pickle. The nacho was a nice blend of sweet and savory from the pork, slaw and peanut sauce. Along with a great crunch factor from the wontons. The service was excellent as well. A tentative staff that was not overbearing. Defiantly a gem for this quant town.

Ken Grigsby

Great food. I have had the steak sandwiches and chicken curry, all were excellent. I would recommend this place for a great date night.

Gerry Wolfe

Great food. I loved the onion rings but my salmon salad portion was a little small. It seemed more like an appetizer. Great flavor nonetheless.

Melanie Cody

Love the place!! Historical building, go far back during forbidden era. Excellent indoor decoration. I had a great lunch meal. Staff members were friendly.

Thomas Anderson

Been coming here for anniversary for 6 years. Sadly this will be the last year. Every year I get the ribeye and it's always a 1in thick perfectly cooked piece of nirvana. This year it was 1/2 inch thick and over cooked. Ordered it medium and got medium well to well done. Told the server and the manager came out and told me I was wrong and that it was medium as if I've never seen a properly cooked steak in my life. Gave it 3 stars because my wife's filet mignon was excellent. (medium well and redder in the center than mine)

Marcus Christianson

Dale Zimmerman continues to expand his reign of mediocrity and childish behavior over Bismarck. The Edwinton “Brewery”, as has been noted and should continue to be repeated, is a mail order pre-made beer mix that produces a poor quality end product, and is the opposite of what a good brewery should be. Coupled with Zimmerman’s blatant defacing of one of the most iconic and important landmarks of the city, Edwinton “Brewery” is a shameful addition to the downtown business scene. Those looking for a true Bismarck beer and who wish to support honest and good local business owners should look towards Laughing Sun, Bismarck Brewery, or any of the other new establishments opening around town.

Shana Casey

Lunch and dinner is fantastic but I wasn't as impressed with breakfast. The Eggs Patterson was drowning in hollandaise and the beer bun isn't a dense enough bread for that type breakfast. Everything was barely warm. I still gave 4 stars because everything is usually amazing.

Kevin Nelson

The atmosphere of Edwinton Brewing Company is casual and cozy. Being in the old train depot building gives the brewpub a rustic charm. The selection of beers is impressive. Many of them are brewed in-house, others locally, and there is a good selection of regional and national craft beers. The food is as delightful as the beers. If you are looking for a wonderful appetizer, order the brisket candies: you will not be disappointed.

WesJanet Garcia

Easy to get to in the downtown area. We went there for lunch. Food was outstanding, as way service. We will be going there again, we go to Bismarck every two months.

Corey Erickson

JFK ate here. Great place!!!

Joe Fouhy

Terrific food. Brandy Alexander was great

Brandon Markwardt

The steak bites were amazing, the beef stroganoff was amazing, hanger steak was perfect, and the chicken tortellini was excellent! The service excellent and the atmosphere was just right. We will definitely be go back again!

Alan Henning

Great atmosphere and food.

Nikhil Kalothia

Jared Bang

Great meal. Awesome steak. Happy hour specials. Great service. Highly recommend this place.

Richard Wilson

Fantastic place, try the hanger steak, service is perfect.

Rick Morel

Great place and very good beer

Kciarak

This place used to be hit or miss, but in recent years service and quality has only gone up. The dining area is beautiful with a lot of history. The hanger steak and knoephla soup are both must try items! The bar is a classy place to meet for a few drinks. Do not skip the martinis! The expresso martini is nothing short of perfection!

Duran Horning

Best place we've stopped downtown. Great beer and food. Fast, friendly service. Highly recommended!

John P

Can't even change the channel on the TV's. Bartender was rude and said " I don't even know where the remote is" was rude the rest of the time we where here. The food is absolute trash. Tried to put two tables together and instantly got told NO..

Amelia Enger

Love what they did with the renovations! Not a beer drinker, but liked what I saw on the menu.

Anthony Ryan

Food was fantastic, cocktails were subpar. I had high expectations based on the menu, but the drinks seemed to really under deliver. Manhattan tasted like straight bourbon with no vermouth or spice from the bitters, the other drinks were either too sweet or burnt. The Lettuce Wraps and the Cucumber Salsa we're both very fresh and delicious. Great happy hour prices as well.

Shondale Morsette

Took my boyfriend there for his birthday. The food is excellent, he enjoyed his steak. Even tho it wasn't his first choice, the waitress recommended another steak that was equally, if not better, tasting than his first choice. Excellent service

Pam Adrian

A wonderful restaurant...superb food and atmosphere!

Ric Jensen

I recently tried one of Edwintons beers at an establishment that shares the same owner. It was awful. No flavor, no character, and flat. Seeing as this "brewery" is not even completely up and running yet I decided to ask around and check their website. What I have come to understand is that this place is not actually "brewing" beer. They are paying (what I can only assume is an absurd price) to have wort (un-fermented beer) shipped in and then they finish someone else's beer on site. The website claims that it is a great process so that the freshest ingredients can be used from "around the world". Why would you want ingredients from "around the world" when you can literally find the best ingredients in your own backyard (water, hops, malted barley). Also this opens their product up for all sorts of sanitary problems. There is literally a countless list of things that could occur and will ruin the final product. To me this process seems like selling beer that comes out of an industrial sized Mr. Beer kit. I was not trying to stir the pot but simply trying to understand. Out of disbelief I messaged the "brewery" to confirm or deny this and if so, ask why they went with this process. I was blocked from commenting on further posts and ignored. Needless to say, I became upset. I was merely trying to ask questions to gain a better understanding of why they chose this route. To me this seems like someone trying to cash in on the craft beer hype without doing 90% of the work that goes into making a good beer. I have since found out that every single person that has asked them these simple questions has been blocked and experienced the same customer service. It is clear they are avoiding even the possibility of someone questioning their practices. I WAS excited to check out Edwinton when they eventually open. Not any more... This "brewery" would get no stars if possible. 1. The beer I had was awful. Flat, boring, and tasteless. 2. The beer they make technically isn't even their beer. 3. They have terrible customer relations. If you want a true craft beer try Buffalo Commons, Laughing Sun, or Dialectic. The jury is still out on their food as the establishment isn't even open to the public yet. However, if you are going there strictly for the beer, there are so many better places to get a craft beer in town.

Anita Akin

Excellent meal nice atmosphere

Wiley Pugh

Worst tasting hoagie in a long time, tasted bland and generic, house chips tasted soggy, worst part was manager questioning our complaint with everybody else gives us rave reviews. Was looking for the 4 star rating but got the 1 star experience

KAD D

Good was fabulous and service the same! A great experience for our family!

Steven Peterson

High class steak and seafood

Gregory Fritz

Poor service. The food tastes fine but the waiter and owner do not know anything about customer service.

Zachary Leighton

Fun atmosphere, good drinks, great happy hour specials. The historic aspects and decor are awesome as well!

Tyler Sander

Great atmosphere

Shondale Morsette

Took my boyfriend there for his birthday. The food is excellent, he enjoyed his steak. Even tho it wasn't his first choice, the waitress recommended another steak that was equally, if not better, tasting than his first choice. Excellent service

Best place to go for a Martini! Try their Espresso Martini, there truly is nothing like it! Great place to start the night, clean and easy atmosphere.

Emily Risty

ben curdy

Nice place! Good food, and awesome atmosphere!

David Atwood

This place is awesome. Great menu, huge beer selection and quite a few beers brewed right in house. Great place atmosphere too. I would recommend it if you are just looking for great local beer or if you want a complete pub experience.

I made reservations here for a Saturday night at 7. We weren't seated until almost 7:30. There was a larger party seated about the same time next to us. They were served before us and we sat waiting for our food almost to the point that I was going to tell the waitress we weren't going to wait any longer. We were there an hour an a half before we had our food in front of us. I wish they would have given me a heads up about the other party and I would have changed my time. Some steaks were over cooked. Most of the food was good and the server tried to keep up but looked like she had a lit of running to do. Drinks took a long time and some did not get theirs. My party was disappointed in their time there and it was my birthday dinner so I was too. I might consider going with a smaller group, but definitely not a large one again as they don't seem to be able to accommodate. The wedge salad was delicious!

Michael Linnell

Cool historical place. Old fashioned was stiff!

Michael Roepke

Disrespectful server and disrespectful manager. Came in for a birthday shot with friends. We were in nice casual clothes and the waitress commented on us, saying "I guess we are just letting anyone in now." I asked what she meant and she said "This IS a high class establishment and you dont fit that profile." When I spoke to the manager his response was "well, she's not wrong."

Late breakfast. Good omlet.

Went to dinner with my wife. Service was really poor. Even though our waitresss walked by our table 10-15 times to serve the next table, she never came by ours. So, we were served by other staff when they had time. Due to the poor ambience, we didn't wait for the check, and paid at the front. Food had good presentation but not good value for money.

Loren Robbins

Good food

Deb Strasheim

Awesome food! Awesome service!

Ben Bannister

Absolutely amazing food. Service was great! Didn't take too long from order to kitchen to table. Way to go Peacock! Would come back again :)

Lisa Kudelka

Very comfortable place to hang out. Enjoyed the beer and food. Great staff

David Davis Mercado

The truffle Fries had basically no cheese on them and my $12 pork wings only came with 3 "wings" that had near to no meat on them but still managed to be cold on the inside. Only saveing Grace was my gfs salad and pineapple cream rum

We ordered steaks that were delicious, specifically the "Hanger" steak. The service was first class and our waitress knew what we wanted before we asked for it! The buns and butter was amazing. Kim was the best waitress!

Lauren Yoakem

The food was ok, nothing to write home about. We got salads and half sandwiches. The bowls they used for the salads were officially the most annoying thing about the interaction. The waitress left something to be desired as she never came to check on us. I wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone. We went in for lunch and in the end decided we should have just gone to FireFlour (which has amazing pizza) or the Blarney Stone.

Matt Fricke

Service was friendly and quick. Drinks were tasty. Happy hour soecials were well priced and delicious!

David Wegner

Good beer. Might consider charging less money to fill growlers. Get your product out to the people cheaper... $19 is a bit steep for a growler fill. $8 - $12 fills are easy to find. Just my opinion ....

Kimberly Gordon

Great food and service!!

I went for breakfast with a friend. I waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. After my friend and I ordered we only saw our waitress again when she delivered the check. The food was greasy like diner food. You could tell they weren’t cleaning the grill. The eggs came out blackened, the veggies too. I was pretty disappointed considering how good the food is there otherwise. The brunch at Blarney Stone is far superior to what Peacock has to offer for breakfast. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Love the decor and overall meal was good. Warning on the ribeye- Good quality but seasoning is charred on the steak- left it gritty and tasting overly charred. That disappointed us but the rest of the meal good. Would order it again WITHOUT the seasoning charred.

Great location and the atmosphere is welcoming. Such an throwback to older architecture. They have a great variety of beer, including a plethora from Edwinton Brewery (across the street). I ordered the ribeye, "medium". It seems very odd that a steak restaurant doesn't know what "medium". Even the menu had a steak chart for how to cook your steak! Mine came out closer to "well done". There was no pink in the middle. This isn't a cheap restaurant, either. I'll be looking for another restaurant tonight.

Michelle Schuster

Food/drinks were way to expensive

If you get a chance to have the knoephla soup, do it. The ribs were perfect, basically melted off the bone. Before good bread and honey-butter is great as well. The place is just cool all around to be in.

There Should be a Please seat your self sign somewhere or a greeter at the door or some sort. Seen our waitress 2 times once for beer order other for food, had to ask for our check to leave. Food was Mediocre at best beer was blah! It will take a lot before I come back. Decor was great best thing about the place. Walking through kitchen to go to bathroom was a tad awkward.
