Pretty calm atmosphere, the onion rings are awesome. The only things I found fault with are the rise and shine burger has a fried egg, which should have been over easy to set it off to make it worth the price and my companion's 3rd beer was flat, like it had been refrigerated, gotten hot and put back in the fridge. Other than that, pretty good place to kick back and relax. *Music level was perfect for conversation!!

Very friendly and hard working staff. The food was good but nothing overly special. If you are in the area for the night this place seems like it would be a great place to have fun with some friends. It has one heck of a bar menu and some really nice pool tables!

We had a pretty big table and were a bit let down on service. The drinks were pretty slow. There were only 2 servers/bartenders on a weekday. Our burgers took a bit of time coming, over 20 minutes from ordering. And as our table arrived in a couple waves, the service did get better, but still a bit lengthy. The food was pretty good, but we were a bit thirsty most of the visit.

I worked here for a while then became a customer. The food is enjoyable and the alcohol is good. Clean location and a great family owns it. Darlene really cares about her facility and staff. They now have a salad bar and even brunch on the weekends.

Overly impressed with the quality of food!! I ate the extreme spicy wings and the fired mushrooms. If you are a wing enthusiast I would say that the heat was an 8/10 with a delicious flavor of 9/10. Fried mushrooms tasted like they had been marinated in garlic butter all day before being fried, honest to God 10/10. Beer was reasonably priced, felt like the server was new to the restaurant but will be back! Best food I've had in North Dakota!!

The service really is awful, and I'm from wyoming where the service is nonexistent. The acoustics in the place echo loudly so that if you have the only table it still sounds like a packed bar. It is also WAY overpriced, it's the second most expensive place to eat in 50 miles. Just barely cheaper than the "fancy" steakhouse. So bad service, bad atmosphere, bad prices, at least they top it off by serving BAD food. I must be a masochist because I've tried eating there several times, trying different items from the menu, all bad. To be fair the "bar" food is edible. Greasy bar food stuffs is OK.

The food was good and the prices were fair. We had a bit of a wait because there was only one waitress there to cover the whole place at peak lunch hours. I'm not sure if that's normal or if they had a call off or something. Everything else was so good, I would definitely recommend it though.

I would not even rate this place a 1 star but had no choice. This place is extremely over priced the food was nasty, they need to change their oil in their fryer especially with the cost of food. My 2 children who are not picky eaters even said they didn't want to go back because they didn't like the food. Then they never even mentioned there was a $15 charge on orders more than 5 on take out until after they charged my card...so needless to say 5 sandwiches and 2 kids meals were $107 for carryout and I could have gone to the local grocery store and bought and made better quality of food. Also when I called back in to tell the manager how disappointed we were she was speechless and just said sorry.....don't waste your time at this place!

Not enough staff. I know it's not booming like it was a few years ago, but it really needs to have employees available to take care of the customers. Some people across from me were laughing about how long it takes just to place an order. This place use to be desirable even when it was packed.

Atmosphere is nice. We weren't impressed with the burger, it was a little rare. Had to send back. Fries were really good. Ordered a Hefe, got a Shock Top instead, think the lines were wrong. Service was slow. Went around 230p

Service was great... and the food is really good. Yeah nothing special and its pricey but there are not a lot of great options in Watford City. We always go for lunch and it's been a good atmosphere for my family, not sure about dinner. The wraps are delicious here.

I ordered a Philly wrap and instead of fries and potatoe salad asked if I could substitute those two items for cheese curds they said no problem. I picked it up and was charged $21. $14 for a normal size tortilla with little beef, peppers, and cheese and absolutely ZERO flavor and also $6 for cheese curds that looked like tootsie rolls and cooked so long there was hardly a hint of cheese left. Not only that, they serve ranch with the curds in a little plastic sauce cup and put that in the to-go box. There is probably a 6 year old reading this that can tell the chef what happens to plastic when you dump 350 degree oil on plastic, that's right melted the plastic cup ruining anything that was edible. Not a fan of eating melted plastic stuck to already inedible food. Will not be going back.

It sucked big time. Took 5 to 7 minutes to put order in for a beer. Then another 10 minutes for a waitress just for her to come back and say sorry where out of rib eyes. OK I'll take a chicken fried steak. Oh we are out of those too. And I still haven't had my beverage brought to my table yet. I asked her what they have to offer besides bad service? And left drove 1/4 of a mile and was eating in 10 minutes.

While it doesn't have picturesque mountain views, this is definitely a good quite place to find some early morning peace and tranquillity. For Watford City, it's the closest you'll find to a bar and grill at a ski resort. With a log and rock interior, decent sized tables, and friendly staff, it's worth stopping in. They have a medium sized menu with all the classic eats and beverages, and they serve breakfast all day. For breakfast i recommend the earlyish riser, and for lunch, you can't go wrong with the bacon bacon cheeseburger on varying types of bread.

Been there a few times since I been back. First time I ordered a burger 40 min later I walked out offered to pay for my tea as I was walking out, the server seen me an what do u know there in hand was my food. The other few times were tolerable but the last time which was last night ordered chicken wrap asked for ranch on side. Food came out maybe 20 min later no ranch so again I ask ahead brought it out. After I was done with first half she was cleaning table right in front of me never made eye contact or she would had seen my tea glass was empty I even made it a point to suck on the ice to get her attention but to no avail. She walk up to register and talked with other 2 servers stayed up there while I finished my meal still sucking on my ice I finally put my cup down kinda,hard and she finally looked over an came and asked would I like more tea well duh yes I would. If u ask why I go there its,because it's close by and late so I hope for a,quick meal haha. None of the times I been in has it been busy. And not one time have I ever seen anyone who is in charge. Would not recommend but not a lot of choices in Watford but one day there will be.

Worst service I have had in a long time. IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT SERVICE. I brought my wife out to this place for supper this place and we sat at a table for 30 min and still not even a waitress to even take a drink order. The entire bar staff looked up at us at our table at least 10 times finally we walked out. Will never waste my time even trying a place like this.

Bar/pool hall that happens to serve a variety of food. Don't be expecting Texas BBQ from the Rib tips, Mexican from the quesadillas but if you're there to drink then that's your place. It's an oil town, so everything is a bit high but not for the audience they are targeting. Even being full of worms, it wasn't rowdy. Not a family atmosphere.

What a joke of a place, waited 1hr for 2 eggs,hash browns and toast and still didn't get served. There were 2 of us waiting and we kept asking about and we were told 5 more minutes. The people that came in and sat down 10mins after we did got served along with everyone. What a joke. So we we walked out after 1hr and 10mins of waiting

More country style outsiders than something out of the popular movie. Not a biker style bar.. Its rustic, lots of tables and a bar and pool tables of course. and lighting is good , room temp was a little cool for the time of year, but service was good, they allow kids ..I was greeted ,I seated Myself, they brewed, me a fresh pot of coffee, served in a glass Mason style rootbeer mug., The selection on the menu was about a dozen different items, For breakfast. I had chicken fried steak and eggs. Good portions, they have a cook and full kitchen, great food, home made bredding on chicken fried steak.. I will come again.

Great service, had a German Burger which was pretty good. Beer battered Fries were great. Draft beer was very cold which is just how we like it. Fairly decent bar with large variety of bottled beers and about a dozen draft beers. Clean dinning room and restrooms. A lot of pool table noice a long with ghetto music from the juke box were the only drawbacks.
