I've had the misfortune of dinning here twice in one month. The price paid for the food was disproportionate to the service received. Wait staff was untrained to answer simple questions about menu offerings and not very attentive to our needs

Food quality was poor. No cider beer available even they are listed on menu. No top shelf vodka. Servers weren't attentive. We were the only 2 in restaurant still waited 20 Minutes for them to take our order. No plates for us to share appetizer. Manager seemed more worried about straighten chairs in lobby as she walked past us. Plan to spend at least $50 on a mediocre lunch for 2. Will not be going back there evidently the owner is more concerned about monopolizing the town instead of worrying about the quality or employees they hire as well as having quality foods. Open 5 more restaurants that are terrible.

I give this a 3 for a reason. The place needs a remodel now that the oil fields have slowed down. And the waitress need more training. The food, well you are not going to walk out of there cheap, for 2 people and the cheapest meal is over $60.00, as we call this New York City prices. The food I do must say is good, but if the chef leaves the food quality goes down too. Is a good place for Watford city but just way to expensive to eat.

Really disappointed. If there is a bbq item (ribs, brisket, etc) I try it, but this is an extremely poor excuse for brisket. The brisket tastes packaged and like it was soaked in liquid smoke, it is chunked up instead of sliced and it is barely warm. I also asked for carmalized onions and cheese, but nothing. There is also too much sauce and the bun is soaked from it. The asparagus is large and woody. The coleslaw tastes like the cabbage was just mixed with miracle whip and it was thrown on a hot plate or sat under a heat lamp! The service is so-so at best. Waited almost 10 minutes before being asked if we had been waited on, but the staff was very friendly and well-meaning. My table mates tell me the steak is great so go with that if you visit here. Skip the brisket! UPDATE: They were nice enough to remove the meal from the bill and offered to make me something else; I declined as the rest of my table had nearly finished. I also had my lunch from here the following day and it was amazing! Moving from 2 to 3 stars. I have since spoke to other people who have been there and the steak is HIGHLY recommended.

We showed up after a hockey game with a party of 16. The staff was very accommodating and sat us right away. They were friendly and attentive and got all of our orders exactly right (which is a tall order when working with a group of 16 people!). The food was outstanding, came out at the same time, and was still hot! Overall, it was a wonderful visit and if I ever find myself in Watford City again, I'll certainly head over to Outlaw's Bar & Grill! Thanks!

This is the place to go for a good steak, salmon, salad (I recommend the black and blue), appetizers and or a good time with a gathering of friends. Sometimes it is hit and miss with the wait staff, but overall they are pretty good. Prices are within reason for this area.

Horrible experience. Steaks were over cooked (twice). When we walked in there was a sign saying seat yourself. We went and found a seat and asked one waitress for our waitress and menus. Our waitress showed up 20 minutes later not even realizing we were there. Half our food came out cold and the quality was very sub par for the price.

How does outlaws screw up chicken wings every time! It's basic! If you order a half a dozen chicken wings on the menu with no sauce for the kid. Then order a dozen chicken wings with split sauces and they end up doing all of them with no sauce and put sauces to dip and forget half of the wings. It's not rocket science. Then they say they will remake. I get cold wings back that they said they would remake which ended up cold and 1 carrot and a side of buffalo sauce in one box. The exact same sauce in the other. Then a side of buffalo sauce in the box with 1 carrot and one ranch portiin cup half full for 18 wings.

A group of eight of us went in for dinner at 7. They were slow to get us our drinks (non alcoholic), very slow to take our orders, they were out of baked potatoes, the mixed veggies were overcooked...so were the steaks...every single one. We asked for refills for soda and ice tea and never got them. They only cleared a few of the plates after dinner, so we sat with dirty dishes on our table, we were never asked for our dessert orders. Took them an entire hour to bring us our bill while we sat thirsty surrounded with dirty dishes. Bad service, mediocre food as usual from here for a steep price.

54oz steak cooked to perfection! Very attentive staff and nice atmosphere the first time. Second time was different. I had a chipped glass and brought it to the servers attention who ignored it TWICE!?! Steak was raw and I asked for a quick 2 minute extra cook. 25minutes later she came back to the table with an attitude and I said forget it i just want my bill. She then said "you ordered you will pay for it"and I then asked for the manager.

Terrible Experience! All the appetizers and main dishes came at the same time, which was after an hour and a half wait. The food was all cold and inedible. No one from their Management came to talk with us. No apologies, no explanations, not even an excuse.

Only gave one star cause I had to. Gave this place a chance and it was horrible. (2) $35 steak dinners had to be sent back twice and told them to keep it. Appetizers was not good either. French onion soup wasn't hot. Will not be going back at all. Had a great waitress but we went there to eat. Could say more, but that will do.

Food was cold and bland. We go back every six months to remember why we don't go more often. Always good money wasted on mediocre food.

I cant tell you how good the food is because didnt make it that far. The blonde bar tender didnt tell us that we need to go around to the restaurant to be seated with our 4 yr. Instead we stood by the bar door thinking we where waiting to be seated. When another waiter finally asked if we could be help. And informed me that there was another door that we should check in at. After the 20 minute wait we left.

Don't really sit in restaurant area BUT the bar and whole crew in there is fantastic. Sam, Ashley and Jenny have made me fill at home from the 1st time 3 years ago. Great food, The Tomahawk. I would have to agree with Dan Borkowski. This place has gone down hill. The only reason I am giving it a star is because the bartender was reasonably nice. They were never great to begin with but I could always count one out of two experiences, one would be good. Today I went there and had the lobster mac and cheese and it was downright disgusting. There was no damn lobster in it, then I added extra shrimp that tasted like it just came out of a pond, the cheese "sauce" was runny and the taste was worse than buying your own Velveta at home and doing it yourself. Damn Pizza Hut pasta has it beat hands down. $30 for some noodles. Never again. Stenjham better keep his business in banking because this place is a joke and I see his newest place doesn't get very hot reviews either. I do not understand why people think slop is good. Dan the head cook can be found across the street at the bar on any given night with his gf or wife, drinking away the night. Maybe that is the reason the food sucks and indeed is a time for change.

This place is nestled in what looks like a mini inside plaza., There is a bank, a movie theatre of sorts and the bar and grill, the bar is separate from the grill. The dining room is a medium size room with seating outside in the bar or plaza as well,. There is no wifi,. Today I had a side salad, Fries and an ice tea for 11.58.. kinda pricey menu.. items.. so just be aware.. nice ambiance., Good service, clean, the food I tried was good, average helping not too big., The condiments, salad dressing, ketchup.. was in a little bit too small to cup, for the amount of food.

This is by far some of the best food I've ever had. Most places that I've been to that have barbecued food it doesn't taste right. But this place has it spot on. I recommend this place for everyone.

I'm a server and this place had the worst service I've ever had. Granted we had a larger party. I asked for water three times and never got it so I had no drink with my food. They missed putting in two of our salads with our food order. My little brothers nachos came out cold. The lady next to me ordered boneless wings and got traditional. We asked to talk to a manager and waited over 20 minutes after we were done eating and they never came over. They charged us full price for everything and told us they were just too busy. I was more then upset with the service. The food took over an hour to come out. Which is understandable because we had a party of 8 people but factored in with everything else it just wasnt a good experience. The only positive things I have to say was the food tasted good and the server named Kevin who would come by who wasn't our server was the only person who seemed to be very attentive when he would come by. He was the only person who asked us if we needed anything else and actually brought it to our table. But being a server for 4 years I know the ins and outs of the industry and I was really underwhelmed by the service of this place. (Except for Kevin)
