Nice, big, filling breakfast with a lot more bacon than I expected. The waitress was rude, but I suspect she was just having a bad day. Anyway, with food that good, they'd have to physically assault me to get less than five stars!

Salad bar was good. Orders were shrimp basket and hamburger steak. The hamburger steak was the size of a hamburger. My shrimp were over done. Have had better meals at this place before. Was disappointed with this meal.

Terrible service, and was extremely unimpressed with the French dip (was very bland and dry), fries were pretty decent, but after I fairly politely expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, the waitress sent the owner over. I thought it was to apologize for me having to ask for my milk 3 times before it was actually brought to me, but to my surprise, the "owner" started getting confrontational with me, and was actually acting like he wanted to fight me or something as if he was trying to impress the waitress .. It was like nothing I've ever experienced in my life .. or hope to ever experience again! It reminded me more of a scenario from a high school kegger then a place of business .. except the kegger would probably have better food! : /

It wasn't real busy and we had to wait 15 minutes for menus and were never offered a refill. Food was good.

We ate there several times for all three meals during a seven night stay in Bowman. The food was very good..nothing fancy but hot, well prepared and good portions. The breakfasts were excellent. Everything was reasonably priced. The staff was very efficient, friendly and courteous. It's a small town in a remote location so the menu is somewhat limited but they have a good selection of sandwiches, a good salad bar, and a selection of meals from steak to chicken, fish, shrimp and pork. They usually have a unique soup of the day made from scratch. They also had some nice dinner salads and pies.

We stopped for lunch. It's a seat yourself kinda place. We picked out a booth and we were quickly given menu's and water. We ordered coffee which was really good and it kept being refilled. The missus ordered the breakfast sandwich and I the grilled club and fries. Both were delivered quickly and were very tasty. The one downside to this restaurant is that both restrooms are a one seater.

Wonderful, classic American breakfast. Got some great tips on Theodore Roosevelt NP from the waitress (don't miss the painted canyon!) and left happy.

Stopped in on 3/31/2018 for lunch about 1:30p.m. Never got a greeting, server showed up at table with no smile nor did he give his name. We ordered the bacon burger with curly fries and the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Food arrived without any fanfare, nor did it deserve any. Burger was small (maybe started as 1/3# at 30% fat) served dry with a dill pickle thin sliced as garnish. Chicken fried steak was poorly breaded, mashed potatoes from a box, veggies over cooked mush. Overall the restaurants hygiene was not the highest, food extremely bland tho ample enough, and from the busser, to the waiter to the girl that rang out our ticket, not one smile or ounce of friendliness was displayed. Highly recommend if you like antisocial children of the corn vibe while dining on mediocore bland food.

We stopped in just at closing time...and were invited in and seated. Ordered burgers and soup... Every thing was fresh and hot. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Waitress was very friendly, had an odd abundance of coffee cups at each table, and the food tasted very good. But the shrimp burger made me horribly ill. All in all, not a bad little cafe.

The service was good the food was old and cold couldn't figure out how they ran out of dark meat when roasted chicken with a special it wasn't roasted chicken with leftover fried chicken that was kept warm until it was dehydrated to a crisp there was no attempt to rectify any of the problem and it was way over priced

Can't beat the chops, eggs and hashbrown breakfast. Jabbr burger is really good and fills you up. The wife likes the dunk burger and the steak and eggs breakfast. Good place to bring the family for a good meal.

The food just didn't have any flavor, pretty bland. I just wasn't impressed, I went on a recommendation as I was passing through town and I feel I waisted my money. Though the rolls were delicious.

They were busy, but the food came out in a timely manner. The food is American cafe food and tasty enough. We've been there multiple times over the years when we are driving through and everyone's always friendly and the service is good.

Well made a trip to bowman for some hunting and all I wanted was some breakfast and I even called the number and nothing and when I drove by the place it said closed and for sale ... they are the only place that will do breakfast food some eggs toast and hash browns ....

We got what was advertised as a 4 ounce pork chop. Combined the two may have been 4 ounces before they were dried out. Instant mashed potatoes. Horrible experience. I'll eat out of a vending machine before going back.

Don't know about lunch or dinner but the breakfast is great. Portions enough for two. Friendly competent service. Not a lot of choices in this small town, but JaBBR's is a good choice.
