The food is always good and they have hearty portions. Pleasant atmosphere, the wait staff often impresses me by taking a whole tables order without using a note pad. The prices are a reasonable although they do have some fairly expensive options on the menu; I just had a super filling lunch for $9. Also, the wait time between ordering and getting your food is pretty short. All in all and good Tex-mex/Mexican place for South Dakota.

Very good! I will definitely go back. I have spent a lot of time in Latin America and truly love the food and people. They serve authentic Mexican food, the beans and rice are perfect and the hot hot sauce is fantastic. I'd buy a quart if they sold it.

This was a great resataraunt with a really fun atmosphere. I was unsure about eating hear just because I had never heard of it but wow did they have great food! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. I had the Guadalajara burrito and it was super good! The prices were also very reasonable. Another nice perk was that all of the staff was super friendly and willing to help us with whatever we needed! If you are ever in spearfish you need to stop at Guadalajara.

What a find! The Salsa and chips were perfection. A perfect example of what was in store. I had 3 beef tacos, crispy, and my girl had a burrito. Both entrees served with beans and rice which were delicious, especially the rice which had a nice toast to it. The main courses were very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I'll be back every year.

The food came out really fast! My boyfriend and I shared the Guadalajara Special and it was HUGE and delicious. The Chile relleno was amazing. The food was really yummy! My kiddo got a tostada and it looked yummy. They have great happy hour specials too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through spearfish!

Great Mexican food compared with any other Mexican restaurants that I know of in the Black Hills. That have really good salsa and chips that are complimentary with the meal. Friendly and fast service with a colorful Spanish style interior make for good meal. Also the portions are pretty big.

Good food for the most part. I'm pretty sure that a family runs this one. The main family of owners are very fun and attentive. We've only had bad service once out of the many times we've been there. The worst part about this business is the line to get in because everybody loves it and returns regularly. It's always busy because it's consistently good.

We used to live in Spearfish and we took having a quality Mexican restaurant for granted. Everywhere we go and eat Mexican food, it all gets compared to Guadalajara's. And none of them even come close. Every chance we get if we are passing through the area, we make it a point to stop and grab a bite to eat. Also the best chips and salsa I've ever had.

Food was great, but service SUCKED!! We had water to drink and we never got our glasses refilled the entire time we were there and we had spicy food! No waitress ever stopped by to ask us how things were until AFTER she gave us the check. We drank our water within the first 15 minutes of being there and had to eat our food with empty glasses. Won’t be back to this location. Rapid City location has never let me down.

Great Mexican food! This is a busy restaurant but the food comes out quick and they seem to sit people quickly. Very fair priced for Tyne amount of food you get. The owner is a lot of fun. He talks to the customers and you can tell he truly enjoys his job.
